This study aims to analyze the ability of preservice elementary teacher ability in poetry writing containing character education with local wisdom persepective. Mix method research approach is used with research design is triangulation design. The research subjects were 35 students of the elementary school teacher education program. The data were obtained through the technique of writing poetry tests and interviews. The analysis of the test used aspects of poetry writing skills. The research findings provide views that students have been able to write poetry with their own imagination, include the meaning of poetry, the advice, and are able to integrate character values with local wisdom. Mastery of the diction aspect is the lowest among other aspects that need to be improved. Recommendations of this research to educators and future research as a review for developing effective Indonesian language learning in the elementary school teacher education program, especially in productive language skills, namely creative writing with character education and local wisdom.

This service activity aims to improve creative writing skills with character education for elementary school teachers through face-to-face and virtual training. The participatory method was used in this training to stimulate teachers to be active in practicing poetry writing both in theory and practice. Face-to-face meetings were held twice for theoretical training, while virtual meetings were held for practical training in writing poetry and presenting it. Based on the results of scoring the ability to write poetry in the posttest session, the classical ability in writing poetry was 84.90%, where at the pretest stage it was 70.79%. The results show that poetry writing training containing character education through a mixed face-to-face and virtual method (Hybrid Learning) is able to improve the ability of elementary school teachers in writing creative poetry types. The improvement in the poetry writing skills of the participants was seen in all aspects of writing poetry, including themes and meanings, the power of imagination, accuracy of diction, and the message.

Munculnya permasalahan terkait kurangnya moral di masyarakat yang disebabkan oleh gagalnya penanaman nilai karakter pada anak usia sekolah menimbulkan kekhawatiran. Pendidikan karakter menjadi penting untuk menjawab soalan tersebut salah satunya melalui penanaman di lingkungan sekolah. Pendidikan karakter diintegrasikan dan dikembangkan dalam setiap muatan pelajaran yang ada sesuai dengan perencanaan dari Kemendikbud, termasuk pada jenjang sekolah dasar. Salah satunya melalui mata pelajaran Seni Rupa (SBdP) yang termuat pada Kompetensi Dasar di kelas V yaitu (KD) 3.4 memahami karya seni rupa daerah (batik). Penelitian dilaksanakan dengan metode kualitatif deskriptif melalui pendekatan hermeneutika atau pemaknaan untuk menganalisis nilai karakter yang terkandung pada motif batik. Penelitian dilakukan di tiga rumah produksi batik di Kabupaten Ngawi. Penelitian ini menemukan adanya nilai karakter pada setiap motif batik khas Ngawi yang sesuai dengan 18 nilai karakter menurut UU Sisdiknas Tahun 2003 Pasal 3. Kesimpulan tersebut dapat dilihat melalui pemaknaan motif batik secara visual terkait gambar dan warna.

Abstract. This study aimed to describe the process of implementing online-based learning during the Covid-19 pandemic in grade 6 Mathematics class at SD Negeri Baru 02. This research is a qualitative research used a phenomenological research design. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling technique. The data collection techniques used are interviews, observation, and documentation. The data validity testing technique used technical triangulation. The data analysis was obtained from the results of data collection by using interactive analysis. The results showed that the process of implementing online-based learning during the Covid-19 pandemic in grade 6 of SD Negeri Baru 02 began with the teacher prepared the learning, namely making learning tools, preparing online learning media, preparing learning materials, and preparing assignments. Online learning was carried out through online media, namely WhatsApp, Google Classroom, and YouTube videos. Online learning was carried out by using assignment method. Online learning assessment was carried out in three aspects, namely cognitive assessment, affective assessment, and psychomotor assessment.

The purpose of this research is to improve narrative writing skill through Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) learning model on students fifth class of Laweyan No. 54 Surakarta Public Elementary School academic year 2018/2019. The form of research is a classroom action research, conducted for two cycles with the planning, implementation, observation, and reflection on each cycle. Data collection techniques are using interviews, observations, tests, and documentation. Data validity technique is using triangulation. Data analysis techniques is interactive analysis model that includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion rawing verification. The result of research showed that using CIRC learning model can improve narrative writing skill. The average score of each aspect of the students' narrative writing skills has increased, from 11.47 at the pretest, then after the action by applying CIRC to 13.56 in the first cycle, 80.11 in the second cycle and including the skilled category. The conclusion of this research is the narrative writing skills of fifth grade students of Public Elementary School Laweyan No. 54 Surakarta academic year 2018/2019 increases through the application of Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) learning models.Keywords: Narrative text, writing skill, Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC).

Project to Strengthen Pancasila Student Profile (P5) is very important to improve the character of students, especially independent learning. The novelty of this research is that it focuses on the factors that influence learning independence in the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5). This research uses descriptive qualitative methods with a qualitative approach. Factors that affect the learning independence of students in class are divided into two, namely internal factors and external factors. Internal factors include the ability of students to get used to learning on their own after understanding the teacher's explanation, focusing on working on projects, and developing interests according to their wishes. Meanwhile, external factors include a supportive family environment, a supportive community environment, supportive teachers, and friends who influence all attitudes of students. Factors that influence learning independence in the Project to Strengthen Pancasila Student Profiles (P5) for class II B and V B SD N Kleco II are influenced by internal factors and external factors.

The aim of this research was to improve the narrative writing skill through Cooperative learning model of Concept Sentence type with picture series media in third grade students of State Primary School of Kebonsari Kebumen in the academic year 2018/2019. This research was a Classroom Action Research (CAR) with a cycles model. This research was carried out in two cycles. The subjects of this reseach were the teacher and students of 3rd grade in Kebonsari, Kebumen state primary school. The data collection techniques in this research include observation, interview, test, and document. The data validity test of this research were source and technique triangulation and content validity. The data analysis techniques of this research were interactive model of analysis and descriptive comparative technique. The average value of the narrative writing skills at pre-action stage reached 63,20 with 32,35% classical completeness or as much as 11 out of 34 students succeeded. Then in cycle I the average value of narrative writing skills achieved 75,08 with 70,59% of classical completeness or about 24 out of 34 students succeeded and increased again up to 81,06 with 88,23% of classical completeness or about 30 out of 34 student succeeded in cycles II. This study aims to enhance reading comprehension skills through implementation of Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition model. The subjects of the study are 26 students of the 4th grade in Pajang II elementary school, Laweyan, Surakarta. This research is Classroom Action Research consist of two cycles. Data collection is done by interviewing, observing, reading comprehension skills test, and document analysis. The data’s validity is done by using content validity, source triangulation, and technical triangulation. The data is analyzed using an interactive analysis model of Miles-Huberman and comparative descriptive model. The result of reading comprehension skills in pretest showed an average of 46,08. Then, in the first cycle, the average increase to 64,98 and become 83,5 on the second cycle. Thus, the conclusion that can be drawn regarding reading comprehension skills in 4th grade students of Pajang II elementary school academic year of 2019/2020 can be enhanced by applying Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition model.l
