Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk menggambarkan serta menganalisis aspek kemampuan komunikasi siswa SMP pada materi sistem persamaan linier dua variabel (SPLDV). Metode penelitian menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan populasi adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP di Karawang sedangkan sampelnya diambil satu kelas dengan sistem sampel kluster, yaitu dengan masing-masing 5 siswa yang memiliki kemampuan tinggi, sedang dan rendah. Hasil analisis bagi siswa yang kemampuannya tinggi untuk kemampuan komunikasi matematisnya termasuk pada katogori tinggi (83,33%), siswa yang kemampuannya sedang untuk kemampuan komunikasi matematisnya termasuk pada kategori sedang (65,00%) dan siswa yang kemampuannya rendah untuk kemampuan komunikasi matematisnya termasuk pada kategori rendah (26,70%). Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan komunikasi siswa kelas IX SMP di Karawang pada Materi Sistem Persamaan Linear Dua Variabel termasuk dalam katagori sedang (58,34 %). Kata kunci: Kemampuan, Komunikasi matematika, sistem persamaan linear dua variabel

Abstract

Penelitian artikel ini merupakan studi pendahuluan yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika berdasarkan taksonomi SOLO pada soal materi himpunan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif melalui 3 alur yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan simple random sampling. Populasi dari penelitian adalah siswa kelas VII-F SMP Negeri 2 Karawang Barat dengan sampel sepuluh siswa yang mencapai KKM dan sepuluh siswa yang tidak mencapai KKM. Data dikumpulkan dengan metode tes, wawancara, observasi kriteria ketuntasan mi nimum. Hasil dari penelitian ini (1) siswa yang memperoleh skor diatas KKM termasuk (a) 0% level prastruktural, (b) 20% level unistruktural,(c) 70% level multistruktural, (d) 90% level relasional, (e) 20% level extended abstract dengan rata- rata indikator sebesar 40% dan (2) siswa yang memperoleh skor dibawah KKM yiatu (a) 40% level prastruktural, (b) 70% level unistruktural,(c) 10% level multistruktural, (d) 0% level relasional, (e) 0% level extended abstract dengan rata-rata indikator sebesar 24%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut maka dapat disimpulkan siswa memiliki kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika berdasarkan taksonomi SOLO pada materi himpunan (1) siswa yang memperoleh skor di atas KKM termasuk dalam kategori kurang baik (rata- rata indikator sebesar 40% ,(2) siswa yang memperoleh skor dibawah KKM termasuk dalam kategori tidak baik(rata- rata indikator sebesar 24%). Kata kunci: level prastruktural, level unistruktural, level multistruktural, level relasional dan level extended abstract.

Abstract

Latar belakang dari pengabdian ini adalah masih terdapat masyarakat yang putus sekolah diakibatkan oleh berbagai hal, seperti ekonomi, lingkungan keluarga dan pandemi covid 19. Oleh karena itu tujuan pengabdian ini ingin memberikan layanan bimbingan dan konseling kepada masyarakat, khususnya bagi anak putus sekolah supaya dapat melanjutkan pendidikannya di jalur pendidikan nonformal. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini menggunakan survey secara langsung ke masyarakat melalui kuisioner dan wawancara. Hasil pengabdian ini menunjukkan ada pengaruh yang siginifikan dari perlakuan pemberian layanan bimbingan dan konseling terhadap motivasi anak putus sekolah menjadi ada kemauan untuk melanjutkan Pendidikan di jalur Pendidikan nonformal pada PKBM. Diharapkan hasil dari pelaksanaan pengabdian ini dapat dilanjutkan oleh para peneliti pengabdian untuk melakukan kegiatan pemberian motivasi melalui implementasi layanan bimbingan dan konseling di masyarakat.

Abstract

This writing aims to examine the use of the Role Playing learning method in an effort to increase interest in learning mathematics. In this article, the author uses a qualitative descriptive method, using a literature review/literature study approach by collecting information relevant to the topic or problem being researched. This is attempted to obtain an overview of the use of the Role Playing learning method in an effort to increase interest in learning mathematics. Where if the interest in learning mathematics is great, it tends to result in the achievement of learning and high learning achievement. So, in this paper, it is explained how the use of the Role Playing learning method is to increase interest in learning mathematics

Abstract

Kemampuan representasi matematis sangat penting dalam pembelajaran matematika. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan representasi matematis peserta didik SMP pada materi himpunan, yang meliputi representasi verbal, representasi gambar, dan representasi simbolik. Subjek penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas VII SMP Nihayatul Amal Rawamerta Kabupaten Karawang, sebanyak 17 peserta didik dengan berbagai tingkat kemampuan representasi matematis tinggi, sedang, dan rendah. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan memberikan tes kemampuan representasi matematis sebanyak 3 soal materi himpunan, wawancara, serta dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa terdapat 1 peserta didik atau sebesar 6% yang berkemampuan tinggi, terdapat 10 peserta didik atau sebesar 59% berkemampuan sedang, serta 6 peserta didik atau sebesar 35% berkemampuan rendah, kategori tersebut membuktikan bahwa belum semua indikator kemampuan representasi matematis peserta didik tercapai dengan baik, dimana peserta didik yang berkemampuan tinggi sudah memenuhi semua indikator representasi matematis tetapi masih ada sedikit kesalahan bahasa, yang berkemampuan sedang terdapat beberapa kesalahan dari semua indikator, sedangkan peserta didik yang berkemampuan rendah rata-rata tidak menjawab soal tersebut.

Abstract

This study aims to see whether the achievement and improvement of students' mathematical understanding skills who received NHT cooperative learning were better and higher than students who received expository learning and to see how much influence the NHT cooperative learning model had on the students' understanding abilities of the experimental class. . This study uses a quantitative approach with the method used is an experiment. The population in this study were seventh grade junior high school students. The sampling technique used is total sampling. The research design used was a quasi-experimental design, the nonequivalent pretest-posttest control group design. The instruments used were test instruments and unstructured interviews. The data obtained will be analyzed by statistical tests in the form of normality test, homogeneity test, t-test, Mann-Whitney test, n-gain test and effect size. The results of the posttest data analysis showed the value of sig. of 0.005 and the n-gain data shows the value of sig. of 0.00 then Ho is accepted and Ha is rejected. This means that the achievement and improvement of students' mathematical understanding skills using the NHT learning model is better and higher than students using expository learning. The large influence of the NHT type cooperative learning model on the mathematical understanding ability of experimental class students obtained through the effect size test is 0.89 with the criteria classified as large.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to see whether there were differences in the achievement and improvement of mathematical problem-solving abilities of students who received CTL learning with students who received direct learning and to see how much influence the CTL learning model had on the mathematical problem-solving abilities of experimental class students. This study uses a quantitative approach with experimental methods. The population used was class VII students at SMP Negeri 5 Karawang Barat with samples namely class VII B (experimental class applied CTL learning model) and VII D (control class applied direct learning model) taken by purposive sampling. The instruments used are test and non-test instruments (interviews), where the data obtained will be measured by statistical tests in the form of prerequisite tests, t-tests, Mann-Whitney tests (if the data are not normally distributed), n-gain and effect tests. size. The results of this study indicate that the average achievement and improvement of mathematical problem-solving abilities of students who receive CTL learning is better than students who receive direct learning, and the large influence of the CTL learning model on students' mathematical problem-solving abilities is in the criteria classified as large.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the importance of guidance and counseling services for students, subjects in this study were students of mathematics education who are taking courses in guidance and counseling, This research method using a questionnaire in the form of a question and students respond via email, the results are analyzed, then tabulated in the frequency table of respondents, which is then presented with the number of perceptions. The results of this study found that the development of the era, family factors, IT development, excellent Guidance and Counseling services, individual development, individual experience, future and potential development are important guidance and counseling services for students to be well organized at every level of education. The conclusion from the results of this study is that guidance and counseling services must be carried out optimally at all levels of education, guidance and counseling services are important for students to be able to prepare and anticipate life and life, both for today and in the future, and guidance and counseling services. Counseling should be a place for students to consult various problems, not the other way around being a place that is feared by students.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the ability of students in implementing PLP in schools. This research method uses descriptive qualitative through a survey approach to directly pay attention to or observe students carrying out PLP activities, while the instruments used are standard assessments of personality, learning, lesson plans development, and micro teaching. The subjects of this study were PLP participants in the schools that were used as PLP locations. The results of the assessment analysis conducted by the civil servant teachers and PLP assistant lecturers found that the level of personality, learning, RPP development and micro teaching aspects of PLP participants was included in the very good category.
