Abstract

Principal leadership is the second-strongest in-school influence on learning after classroom teaching and shapes teachers’ resources, stress, and motivation; in Indonesia’s island contexts these leadership routines are pivotal. To estimate the associations of principal leadership practices and teacher work stress with teachers’ work motivation in SD Gugus 3, Kecamatan Nusaniwe (Ambon). Quantitative, cross-sectional survey of n = 87 teachers, proportionate stratified sampling; validated scales for learning-centered leadership, teacher stress, and work motivation (Likert 0–4); assumption checks (P–P plot, VIF); Pearson correlations and multiple regression with α = .05. The model was significant (R² = 0.241; F(2,84) ≈ 13.34, p < .001). Leadership showed a positive, significant effect on motivation (b = 0.287, p < .05), while stress had a near-zero, non-significant partial effect (b = 0.005). Diagnostics indicated no harmful multicollinearity and approximately normal, homoscedastic residuals. Learning-centered leadership—clear academic goals, observation-feedback, and principals’ participation in teacher learning—is the most actionable lever to strengthen teacher motivation; stress likely operates indirectly via job demands/resources. Provides practice-ready guidance for island schools: expand teachers’ job resources (autonomy, collaboration, feedback) and streamline demands (paperwork, behavior routines) through principal routines. Employ longitudinal or quasi-experimental designs, incorporate multi-source measures (e.g., observation-based leadership, objective workload), test JD-R mediation and motivation moderation, and link teacher motivation changes to student outcomes.

Abstract

The implementation of traditional marriage in the Kei region is a complex cultural legacy rooted in strong social values. The community of Ohoi Waur in Kei Besar District continues to uphold customary marriage practices based on the hierarchical and collective Larvul Ngabal customary law. This study aims to analyze how social management practices operate within traditional structures through processes of planning, organizing, implementation, and evaluation. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach using participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation techniques. Findings reveal that managerial practices in customary marriages are not spontaneous but are embedded within role distribution patterns, social control, and coordination mechanisms among families and customary leaders. These patterns demonstrate the internal capacity of the community to manage inherited values through adaptive traditional structures. The study offers a new perspective that local management systems can serve as an organized and directed basis for social governance. The implication encourages community-based cultural preservation policies, with a recommendation to replicate this research in other customary communities to enrich local social practice mapping.

Abstract

The implementation of the Computer Based National Assessment requires comprehensive school resource readiness. This study aimed to examine resource management at SD Kristen Piliana, Tehoru District, Central Maluku Regency in implementing ANBK. Using a qualitative descriptive method, the study involved principals, teachers, committees, and parents as informants. Findings reveal that resource management remains suboptimal, with lack of electricity and internet access as major constraints. Nonetheless, teacher commitment and collaboration with SMPN 119 serve as key enabling factors. These findings underscore the need for inter-institutional synergy and internal strategy reinforcement. It is recommended that schools and policymakers prioritize infrastructure development and enhance teachers' technical competencies to ensure equitable digital assessment implementation in underdeveloped areas.

Abstract

Almost all universities in urban areas already use Learning Management Systems (LMS). This obligation forces lecturers to prepare material and put it into Learning Management Systems (LMS). But facts. There are 63% of lecturers who have difficulty compiling online material. The hope is that using Learning Management Systems (LMS) can improve student learning outcomes. This research aims to determine the positive impact of implementing learning in higher education assisted by Learning Management Systems (LMS). The research wants to find out the obstacles and difficulties in implementing Learning Management Systems (LMS) learning. The research method used is a survey by distributing instruments. Data collection technique, by distributing instruments to 132 people consisting of lecturers and students who were directly involved in the learning process. The analysis technique averages the instruments that have been assessed by students and lecturers. The average results are then interpreted into sentences. As a result, lecturers find obstacles and difficulties in using the learning management system in the learning process. Obstacles and difficulties lie in the implementation of material, the use of learning models, and difficulties in assessing student attitudes and skills. It was found that the material was not included in the Learning Management Systems (LMS) but still distributed different media materials so that learning was less effective. Assessment indicators are also not given to students, so students cannot measure their abilities. In conclusion, every lecturer must prepare materials, models, and assessment instruments before using Learning Management Systems (LMS) as a tool to help implement learning in higher education.

In organizing there is a division of tasks, delegation of authority and teaching schedules. Meanwhile, in the implementation activities, it was found that the implementation of catechization education learning activities in one week was two meetings, namely Tuesday and Friday and there were two semesters for one academic year, each semester of which learning activities required six months. Evaluation in catechization education includes evaluation of learning outcomes and evaluation of educator performance. The mechanism for evaluating learning outcomes is carried out by techniques of written tests, oral tests and faith tests and the end of this education is confirmation to become a new member of the Moluccan Protestant Church.
