Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan deskripsi relevansi materi dan pemetaan sekuen antara materi mata kuliah fisika dan kimia teknik dengan materi mata kuliah keahlian bidang studi (MKKBS). Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif analitik dengan teknik pengumpulan data dokumentasi, wawancara, dan angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada MKKBS yang memerlukan dukungan seluruh materi mata kuliah fisika dan kimia teknik. Ada MKKBS yang sama sekali tidak memerlukan dukungan materi mata kuliah fisika dan kimia teknik. Materi mata kuliah fisika dan kimia teknik yang tidak diperlukan pada MKKBS bukan berarti harus dihilangkan, melainkan harus tetap ada untuk mendukung MKKBS lainnya. Mata kuliah fisika teknik belum sepenuhnya mendukung seluruh materi yang diperlukan oleh MKKBS. Materi mata kuliah kimia teknik sudah sepenuhnya mendukung materi yang diperlukan oleh MKKBS. Diperoleh dokumen pemetaan sekuen relevansi materi mata kuliah fisika teknik dan kimia teknik dengan materi MKKBS.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh persepsi peserta didik tentang kompetensi kepribadian guru terhadap motivasi belajar peserta didik di SMK Negeri 8 Bandung. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode ex post facto. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah kuesioner yang jumlah respondennya sebanyak 125 peserta didik yang diambil menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji regresi sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat persepsi tentang kepribadian guru masuk dalam kategori rendah dengan persentase sebesar 36%. Motivasi peserta didik berada dalam kategori sedang dengan persentase 66,4%. Pengaruh persepsi peserta didik tentang kepribadian guru terhadap motivasi belajar peserta didik menunjukkan nilai positif dan signifikan dengan nilai koefisien determinasi yang menunjukkan besar hubungan antara keduanya sebesar 13,6 %. Kesimpulan yaitu bahwa persepsi tentang kompetensi kepribadian guru berpengaruh terhadap motivasi belajar siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan memperoleh data aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa pada materi memahami komponen mekanisme pengereman sesuai SOP. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Subyek penelitian sebanyak 31 orang peserta didik. Tahapan penelitian, yaitu: perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi pelaksanaan pembelajaran, pre test dan post test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan aktivitas pembelajaran sebesar 11,77%, yaitu dari 59,03% menjadi 70,8%. Hasil belajar peserta didik meningkat dari rata-rata 0,53 pada siklus I meningkat sebesar 0,18 menjadi 0,71 pada siklus II. Jumlah peserta didik yang mencapai KKM pada siklus I sebanyak 24 orang meningkat 6 menjadi 30 orang pada siklus II. Kesimpulan penelitian bahwa terdapat peningkatan aktivitas dan hasil belajar peserta didik dengan menggunakan model cooperative learning tipe jigsaw.

Abstract

Since 2005 the Directorate of Vocational High School Development (Direktorat PSMK)  has launched a national program  of vocational  high school  (SMK) development on a large scale with the scenario of increasing the quantity vocational high school students and reducing the number of senior high school students (SMA) or known by the scheme of 70:30. Its fundamental consideration is to reduce the unemployment rate of SMA graduates can who not continue to studies to their  further higher level of education. While the development of vocational education is expected to expand the employment absorption in the greater world of industry. The implications to the above national program  significance  of the increasing numbers of new SMK spreading from both in urban and rural .  Some of both public and private vocational schools has emerged  quickly, even in some areas there are primary school, junior or vocational school used to make the CMS. This condition is certainly  worrying, on the one side it is  line with the national program but on the other side the increase in quantity does not  linearly correlate with the quality. More over  the relevence of the SMK competence  program has not been thoroughly examined an in depth study that  can give an impact on the employment  absorption in the world of indutry. Aperiodically comprehensive mapping of the all existing vocational the schools need tobe done ranging especially  from the availability of the  teachers the program expertise as well as the and the infrastructure as well as development of the  students, including the increasing the number of teachers, the interest of the community as well as  programs being carried out in SMK. The method used in conducting the research is a descriptive method, this method describes the condition of the existing vocational schools in each subject study area. Data is  collected through using the census method and documentation methods. This research has produced data for all three subject study areas in  West Java, Bangka Belitung  and Central Kalimantan and has sequentially  resulted as follows: (1) Number of SMK: 1043, 43, 67, (2) Number learning group: 9454, 418, 446, (3) Number of learning resource centre: 134 988, 5782, 5764, (4) Number of Students: 327,757, 14,482, 14,010, (5) Number of graduates: 81 916, 2517, 2586.

Abstract

Aim of this study is to determine in wich category the student’s perception about pedagogical competence, personality competence, sosial competence, and professional competence. This study is using quantitative descriptive method. The sample of this study is students who have completed the 6thsemester with total 58 samples. This study using closed question that distribute to the samples. The result of this study is that students’ perception about pedagogical competence are in the very good category, students’ perception about personality competence are in the very good category, students’ perception about social competence are in the very good category, students’ perception about proffesional competence are in the very good category.There are 53 (91,4%) students that have a“Very Good” category in perception ofpedagogical competences.There are 38 (65,5%) students that have a “Very Good” category in perception of personality competences.There are 43 (74,1%) students that have a “Very Good” category in perception of socialcompetences.There are 35(60,3%) students that have a “Very Good” category in perception of professionalcompetences.Students’ perception of four teacher competences are in very good category, it mean that students’ quality are in a good category.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk memperoleh data capaian kompetensi siswa pada teknik pengelasan GMAW dengan menggunakan model self designed project learning dan mengetahui tanggapan siswa terhadap penggunaan model ini. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu kuasi eksperimen dengan desain one group pretest-posttest. Sampel diambil dengan cara purposive sampling dan jenis sampel nonprobability sampling. Dengan pertimbangan tertentu, sampel diambil adalah siswa dengan kompetensi keahlian teknik pengelasan logam berjumlah 34 siswa. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan tes (pretest dan posttest) denggan bentuk tes yaitu uraian. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kompetensi siswa dalam perencanaan produk meningkat seelah digunakan model self designed project learning. Rata-rata hasil pembelajaran perencanaan produk dan praktik untuk mengetahui dengan kategori sedang. Nilai rata-rata 6,09 dan hasil tes keterampilan rata-rata 87,97. Tanggapan siswa terhadap penggunaan model ini yaitu mayoritas sangat setuju diterapkan dalam proses pembelajaran. Kesimpulan penelitian ini bahwa penerapan  model self designed project learning telah meningkatkan kompetensi siswa pada pengelasan GMAW. Model ini dapat menyelaraskan antara kebutuhan kualifikasi kompetensi di dunia industri dengan sekolah dan berwirausaha.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh data relevansi kompetensi kerja kelistrikan kendaraan ringan di sekolah dengan kompetensi kerja di industri otomotif dan data kekurangan kompetensi tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan observasi dan dokumentasi. Lokasi penelitian yaitu SMKN 6 Bandung dan Toyota Astra Auto 2000 Soekarno Hatta. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi kerja kelistrikan kendaraan ringan sudah sesuai dengan kompetensi kerja kelistrikan kendaraan ringan yang dibutuhkan oleh industri otomotif dengan hasil rasio ketepatan 0,85. Ada beberapa kompetensi kerja industri otomotif yang belum terpenuhi oleh kompetensi di sekolah. Kesimpulan penelitian ini bahwa kompetensi kerja kelistrikan kendaraan ringan dengan kompetensi kerja industri otomotif  sudah relevan, namun belum bisa dikatakan sebagai dokumen yang baik. Masih ada beberapa kompetensi kerja kelistrikan kendaraan ringan yang belum relevan dengan kompetensi kerja di industri otomotif.

Abstract

Students in vocational schools are generally faced with difficult material accompanied by learning facilities that are not optimal in attracting their attention. Simulation models can be done for students to practice appropriate skills in learning activities, the demands of the times in the era of the COVID-19 pandemic urge educators to produce digital simulation media that are suitable. Systematic Literature Review by analyzing documents and articles searched through an electronic database search engine use as method to be discussed. Simulation-based digital learning facilities require software in making simulation learning tools. Several simulators have been designed and applied to electrical learning in the automotive sector with the result that they can improve the quality of learning. Simulation-based digital technology provides practicality and completeness to user needs, especially those related to practical skills in vocational education. Meanwhile, there are still few simulators in the form of digital or software for learning electrical systems in the automotive sector.

Abstract

The ISOLA_229 robot is designed to have a maximum dimension of a cube of 1 m3 with an extension of up to 1.8m, must be able to throw the ball in 3 throwing zones that have different shooting distances and heights according to the rules of the ABU Robocon robot contest with the theme "Throwing the blessing ball", a traditional game from Vietnam. The ISOLA_229 robot that has been made meets the dimensions, but throws the ball not yet able to reach the target in the shooting zone 3. There is a need for analysis to find out the cause of the problem and how to solve the problem, one of which is descriptive method. The analysis carried out on the ISOLA_229 robot focused on the problem of the ball throwing system. The results of the analysis of the ISOLA_229 robot ball throwing system found that it was necessary to reduce the throwing speed by 65% ​​from normal speed at air pressure P = 6 bar and change the elevation angle from = 45o to = 50o to reach the target in throwing zone 3.

Abstract

Mixer blade is one of the tools used in the cement industry as a tool to mix the composition of raw cement into ready-to-use cement. However, in its use, damage is often caused when the mixing process takes place, there is material that is too hard and makes the blade break. Based on these problems, the author made a study entitled "Analysis of the Difference in Impact Strength of Mixer Blade Materials Due to the Heat Treatment Process". This study aims to determine the difference in impact strength received by the mixer blade material after the heat treatment process. The Heat Treatment processes carried out are Quenching, Carburizing, and Tempering. The method used in this research is the experimental method. The process of making specimens is carried out in the UPI Mechanical Engineering Education Design Production lab. The Heat Treatment process is carried out at the POLMAN Manufacturing Process Lab. And for the process of testing material properties, it is carried out at the Metallurgical Lab of UPI Mechanical Engineering Education. The material of this mixer blade is low carbon steel so that the carburizing process is chosen. The carburizing process was carried out with a carburizing medium (carburizer) a mixture of 60% coconut shell charcoal and 40% NaCo3 (weight ratio) at a temperature of 850°C and held for 90 minutes. Cooling is done by storing the specimen in the furnace so that cooling is slow. Followed by a tempering process at a temperature of 500°C and held for 60 minutes and carried out a quenching process with free air. There is a difference in the impact strength of the object from 1.84 J/mm2 to 0.81 J/mm2 and a difference in surface hardness from 85.67 HRB to 92.83 HRB.
