Abstract

Background: Mortality caused by accidents remains a public health challenge. Prompt response during first aid accident may prevent disability or death. At Universitas Padjadjaran three student body volunteer organizations provide training in Basic Life Support as the component of first aid. They are Korps Sukarela Palang Merah Indonesia (KSR PMI), Perhimpunan Mahasiswa Pecinta Alam (PMPA) Palawa, and Unit Search and Rescue (SAR). This study aims to assess the level of Basic Life Support knowledge of the members inthree organizations and the factors related with their knowledge.Methods: The method used was a descriptive study carried out on subjects diagnosed with PSS at the National EThis was a cross sectional study that included 59 members of three student body volunteer organizations of Universitas Padjadjaran that have received training in Basic Life Support. A questionnaireabout respondent’s characteristics, Basic Life Support-related experiences, and Basic Life Support’s knowledge was administered to the participants during October 2012Results: The total mean for the three student body volunteer organizations on questionnaire was 64.12±19.40 with minimum score was 25 and maximum score was 100. The interval of last period of training and Basic Life Support-related experiences did not show statistically significant (p=0.647) and(p=0.357) however educational background related to Basic Life Support knowledge showed statistically significant (p<0.01).Conclusions: The level of Basic Life Support knowledge in three student body volunteer organizations was moderate and that educational background has relation with the knowledge. The increase in number of effective training and application in the field may increase the knowledge on Basic Life Support. [AMJ.2015;2(1):186–90]

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian tindakan kelas bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan kemampuan mengenal warna sekunder melalui kegiatan melukis dengan jari (Finger Painting) kelompok B di PPT Assalam Surabaya. Subyek penelitian adalah anak usia 3-4 tahun yang berjumlah 12 anak tahun pelajaran 2016/2017. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi dan dokumentasi, sedangkan analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif berdasarkan analisis refleksi siklus. Dari hasil pengolahan data diperoleh aktivitas guru pada siklus I sebesar 53.7 % kemudian pada siklus II sebesar 78.15 %, aktivitas anak pada siklus I sebesar 54.7 % kemudian pada siklus II sebesar 75 %, kemampuan mengenal warna sekunder pada siklus I sebesar 53.1 % kemudian pada siklus II sebesar 78.05 %, berdasarkan uraian diatas dapat disimpulkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan pada kemampuan mengenal warna sekunder melalui kegiatan melukis dengan jari (Finger Painting) Kata kunci: Mengenal Warna, Melukis dengan jari (Finger Painting) Abstract This class action research aims to descript improvement in ability of comprehending secondary colors through painting-with-fingers activity in group B PPT Assalam Surabaya. Subject of research is 20 3-4 years children in school year of 2016/2017. Technique of collecting data is by using observation and documentation, while data analyze is by using descriptive statistic based on cycle reflection analysis. From results of data analysis, it obtains that activity of teacher in cycle I was 53.7% and then in cycle II it was 78.15%. activity of children in cycle I is 54.7% and then in cycle II it was 75%. Ability of comprehending secondary colors in cycle I was 53.1% and then in cycle II it was 78.05%. Based on description above, it can be concluded that the improvement exists in the ability of comprehending secondary colors through paintingwith-fingers activity. Abstract

The purpose of this research article is to determine the effect of GLB and GLBB kinematics props to strengthen students’ understanding of motion in class IV SDN Kebonagung 02 Jember. The method used is quantitative with the type of pre-experimental design and the form of one group pretest posttest design. This research technique uses field research techniques with test instruments and questionnaires. Data analysis using the N-Gain test, normalization test, T test on test results and elaboration on questionnaire results. The results showed that the N-Gain test was found to be 0.60 which means the medium category and normally distributed through the normality test. Likewise, the T-test results show that after the use of props, the t value is 8.816 with sig. (2-tailed) 0.000 which means that there is a significant difference in student understanding before and after being given exposure through kinematics props. So it can be concluded that the use of kinematics props has an effect on strengthening students’ understanding of motion for grade IV students at SDN Kebonagung 02 Jember.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui peranan dari media video interaktif berbasis Canva pada Pembelajaran tematik terhadap hasil belajar di sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian studi literatur dengan memakai metode deskriptif kualitataif. Pengumpulan data yang dilakukan dengan mencari melalui Google Scholar artikel- artikel di jurnal elektronik maupun publikasi lain. Data tersebut dianalisis dengan tiga tahap yaitu pengorganisasian, sintesis serta identifikasi. Pada pengaplikasian media ini ditemui beberapa kendala di dalam kelas, di antaranya; guru masih belum mengetahui bagaimana membuat desain di canva, kurang stabilnya sinyal serta terbatasnya sarana prasarana. Akan tetapi, kendala tersebut tidak menjadi hambatan. Pihak sekolah menyediakan sosialisasi atau pelatihan dan fasilitas sarana dan prasarana yang memadai bagi para guru. Terdapat delapan artikel yang sesuai dengan tema kajian yang menyatakan bahwa  penerapan media interaktif Canva memiliki peranan yang sangat signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa utamanya pada jenjang sekolah dasar.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine whether tunneling incentive, bonus mechanism, company size and profitability have an influence on transfer pricing. This research uses secondary data using non-probability sampling method. In this study, the sample amounted to 216 manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during 2018-2021. The data analysis method used in this research is logistic regression analysis using SPSS 25. The results of this study indicate that tunneling incentive and company size have a significant influence on transfer pricing. However, bonus mechanism and profitability have no influence on transfer pricing.

Abstract

This study discusses the role of investigative audits in strengthening financial accountability in government institutions. Investigative audits have an important function in detecting corruption, abuse of power, and financial statement discrepancies. Using a quantitative approach, data were obtained through surveys and in-depth interviews involving auditors and government officials. The findings show that investigative audits can improve transparency, efficiency, and public trust in the financial management of government agencies. Recommendations include strengthening auditor capacity and implementing investigative audits in an integrated manner within the internal control system to improve accountability.

Abstract

Abstract The era of technology presents a number of problems, especially for educators and students. The younger generation, namely many students who like social media to surf in the midst of their activities, with technological disruption various foreign cultures can easily enter their search. If Western culture is not filtered properly, it will have fatal consequences for the sense of nationalism in the younger generation and even erode the religious values of students. This article aims to describe the application of interactive animation-based learning media to introduce religious values to students, especially at the elementary school level. The method used is a qualitative method with a descriptive analysis approach. The technique of collecting data is based on a study of the relevant literature. The results of the study show that learning using interactive animation media is effective in learning. Many benefits can be obtained from the use of interactive animation media, including: through interactive animation media, the delivery of material is clearer and not only verbal; interactive animation can also overcome limited sensory power and time. Examples such as the animations Nussa Rara and Riko The Series can be used to instill good religious and moral values in elementary school children, including serving both parents, learning to pray, eating manners, dhikr, and monotheism. The implementation of these character values can be taught by educators to students in learning through habituation. Then educators and parents can provide exemplary character values through activities in everyday life.

Abstract

Fenomena manusia silver yang melibatkan anak-anak sebagai pelaku merupakan bentuk eksploitasi ekonomi yang bertentangan dengan prinsip perlindungan anak dalam hukum Indonesia. Pemerintah Daerah memiliki tanggung jawab untuk menyelenggarakan perlindungan terhadap anak dari bentuk eksploitasi semacam ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji dan membandingkan dua Peraturan Daerah, yaitu Perda Kota Banjarmasin Nomor 12 Tahun 2014 dan Perda Kabupaten Banjar Nomor 2 Tahun 2014, dalam memberikan perlindungan hukum bagi anak-anak yang menjadi manusia silver. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode normatif dengan pendekatan perundang-undangan dan perbandingan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Perda Kabupaten Banjar memiliki regulasi yang lebih spesifik dan berpihak kepada perlindungan anak, terutama dalam aspek pencegahan, pembinaan pelaku, dan rehabilitasi sosial.

Abstract

Bahasa Indonesia memiliki fungsi strategis sebagai alat pemersatu bangsa yang beragam suku, agama, dan budaya. Implementasi Bahasa Indonesia merujuk pada penerapan penggunaan Bahasa Indonesia dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan masyarakat, baik secara lisan maupun tulisan, Namun, dalam masyarakat multikultural seperti Pulau Dom, Kota Sorong, penggunaan Bahasa Indonesia secara efektif masih menghadapi berbagai tantangan, khususnya di kalangan warga yang lebih terbiasa menggunakan bahasa daerah atau bahasa ibu. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk menyegarkan pemahaman dan meningkatkan keterampilan berbahasa Indonesia dalam kehidupan sosial masyarakat. Metode yang digunakan meliputi sosialisasi, pelatihan, diskusi interaktif, serta pembuatan media literasi bahasa. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kesadaran masyarakat akan pentingnya Bahasa Indonesia sebagai media komunikasi lintas budaya. Diharapkan kegiatan ini dapat mendorong terciptanya masyarakat yang lebih harmonis, inklusif, dan toleran melalui penguatan peran bahasa nasional.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the development, feasibility and effectiveness of ZATASE (Zathura based on Assemblr Edu) learning media in the science subject for sixth grade students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 3 Jember by using ADDIE Model. This study used data collection instruments such as observation, interviews, questionnaires, documentation and tests with descriptive qualitative and quantitative data analysis techniques. The results of the study show: 1) the product developed is the ZATASE media for the subject of science for sixth grade students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 3 Jember, 2) the percentage results of the five validators, namely material experts, media experts, language experts and learning experts are 93.74% which means "very feasible", 3) the results of the effectiveness test using the t-test with Paired Sample T-test obtained a sig value (2-tailed) of 0.000 <0.05 which means there is a difference between before and after using the ZATASE media. The N-Gain test obtained a score of 0.69, meaning it has a moderate increase. Thus, it can be concluded that the ZATASE learning media is "quite effective" when applied in science subject learning.
