Abstract

The research is aim to observe consumer behavior regarding the perception of the five dimensions of education quality including reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy, and physical evidence from the Musi Charitas Catholic University (MCCU). The purpose of the study is to prove whether there is a difference in the perception of education qualityfrom the students in Management and Accounting Study Program. Data collection techniques used is to spread the 5-point Likert questionnaire that is from very disagree until strongly agree.Population in this research is active student, Batch 2015/2016 untilBatch 2016/2017 Management and Accounting Study Program. Based on the results of the differences test using the Mann-Whitney test proved that the perception of Accounting studentson the quality of education (Mdn = 2143) generaly difference and significant with the students perception of Managementon the quality of education in MCCU (Mdn = 2907) with significance 0.008 <0.05 (Ho is rejected). If it is seen from each variable, then reliability, responsiveness, and guaranteeprove the difference of perception between student of Accounting and Management Study Program. While the variable of empathy and physical evidence didn’t prove the difference of perception between student of Accounting and Management Study Program.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of knowing the effect of the variables Price, Sales Promotion,and Shopping Lifestyle on Impulse Buying on the Tiktok Shop Platform. The population in this study are users of theTiktok application with a sample of Tiktok Shop consumers on the Tiktok application. The sample in this study wasdetermined using a non-probability sampling technique with a purposive sampling approach, namely 120 respon�dents. The results of this study indicate that the variables Price and Shopping Lifestyle partially have a positive andsignificant effect on Impulse Buying on the Tiktok Shop platform. While the Sales Promotion variable partially hasno effect and is not significant on Impulse Buying on the Tiktok Shop platform.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of dissatisfaction, low quality, and alternative attractiveness on consumer switching intentions to environmentally friendly cosmetic products moderated by switching costs. The data used is primary data. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling and obtained 198 respondents. The results show that the main factors that influence consumer intention to switch are alternative attractiveness variables and switching costs. While no significant relationship was found between the variables of dissatisfaction, low quality, and the moderating effect of switching costs on these three variables in influencing consumer intention to switch to environmentally friendly cosmetic products.

Abstract

This study analyses the influence of TPB and price sensitivity on green purchasing behaviour of Avoskin generation Z consumers and millennials in Palembang, mediated by green purchasing intention. 191 respondents were processed using smart PLS 3. The results of this study found that attitude and behavioural control have a significant positive relationship with Avoskin purchase intention. Behavioural control, subjective norms, and green purchase intentions have a positive and significant effect on consumer green purchasing behaviour. Green purchase intention mediates attitude towards Avoskin green purchasing behaviour, full mediation. Green purchase intention mediates behavioural control on Avoskin's green purchasing behaviour, partial mediation. Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan bagian dari kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat, bertujuan mengeksplorasi pendekatan interaksional dalam mengidentifikasi permasalahan resiliensi individu melalui peran dukungan sosial. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif yang melibatkan 8 partisipan dari sebuah komunitas keagamaan di kota Palembang. Data diperoleh melalui metode role play, dimana partisipan dihadapkan pada dua skenario lingkungan penugasan berbeda: lingkungan tanpa dukungan sosial (Lingkungan Penugasan-1) dan lingkungan dengan dukungan sosial (Lingkungan Penugasan-2). Temuan menunjukkan bahwa partisipan mengalami kesulitan lebih tinggi dalam penyesuaian diri di lingkungan tanpa dukungan sosial, yang berdampak negatif terhadap resiliensi mereka. Sebaliknya, lingkungan dengan dukungan sosial secara signifikan meningkatkan kemampuan adaptasi, optimisme, dan resiliensi partisipan. Hasil penelitian menegaskan bahwa pola interaksi sosial yang suportif sangat penting dalam memfasilitasi identifikasi dan penanganan masalah resiliensi, serta memiliki implikasi praktis dalam pengembangan intervensi berbasis komunitas untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan psikologis individu dalam menghadapi situasi sosial baru.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of fear of missing out (FOMO) on impulse buying of fashion products that occurs through the Shopee marketplace, especially in Palembang. The data used in this research is primary data. The population in this study are people in the city of Palembang who use the Shopee application. The sampling technique used was a purposive sampling method and obtained 50 samples. Hypothesis testing is done by multiple regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that partially, fears and worries have a positive and significant effect on impulse buying, while anxieties have a positive but not significant effect on impulse buying. Simultaneously, fears, worries, and anxieties have a positive and significant effect on impulse buying.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of E-Service Quality and E-Trust on the decision to use. The data used in this study is primary data. The population in this research consists of users of online loan services on the EasyCash platform. The sampling technique applied was purposive sampling, involving a total of 100 respondents. Hypothesis testing was conducted using descriptive statistical analysis, data quality testing, classical assumption testing, as well as T-test and F-test, with results processed using SPSS. The findings of this study indicate that E-Service Quality and E-Trust implemented by EasyCash have a positive and significant effect on the decision to use online loans on the EasyCash platform. Abstract

ABSTRACT The present pandemic has changed the global economic life. In the family level it results the decreasing family income. This situation weakens the resilience. Therefore. it is urgent to create new opportunities within the context of family. Family has played major role where the mother’s involvement is significant to respond the change and to creatively look for entrepreneurship opportunity. This community service aims at improving the family resilience through economic empowerment of mother’s role. The activity is divided into two sessions, namely: (1) Practical skills of child independence development; and (2) Practical entrepreneurship skills “how to make peach gum herbal drink”. Survey was conducted at the end of the activity. One-Sample Test was employed to measure means value of perceived-benefit, involvement and loyalty which is accounted for 4 (= Agree) (Sig. > 0.05). Procedures for Bivariate Correlation to measure the participation level was applied. The result shows significant correlation between Session Attractiveness (KTM) and Perceived-benefit (PMM) (0.548/Sig. 0.01), and between Future Intention (KKG) and Recommendation (KR) (0.447/Sig. 0.05). Abstract

Two factors influence consumers' decision to purchase a product, namely brand awareness and brand image. This study examines the significant influence of brand awareness and brand image on purchasing decisions for Scarlett Whitening products. Data used The data used is primary data. All consumers who know and have/are using Scarlett Whitening are the population in this research. The sample collected was 106 respondents. The sampling technique used was non-probability sampling, namely the purposive method (judgment sampling). Data was collected using an online questionnaire (google form) distributed through social media. The analysis technique used is validity and reliability testing, multiple linear analysis models to generate t-test results, F-test, and coefficient of determination. The findings of this study are brand awareness and brand image, both of which affect purchasing decisions positively and significantly. The results of this study imply that companies can increase efforts to build and increase brand awareness and a positive brand image

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan adanya literasi digital dan literasi informasi terhadap minat generasi muda untuk berwirausaha. Penelitian ini dilakukan saat pandemi COVID-19 terjadi. Lokasi penelitian dilakukan di kota Palembang dan kepada 115 kaum generasi muda. Metode pengambilan data yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini dengan menggunakan purposive sampling, teknik analisa data dilakukan dengan menggunakan parsial least square (PLS). Penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa literasi digital dan literasi informasi mempengaruhi minat generasi muda dalam berwirausaha. Hal yang menonjol dalam literasi digital ditemukan dalam penelitian ini adalah aspek etis dimana generasi muda menghargai/menghormati para pengguna internet dan aspek yang menonjol dalam literasi informasi yang ditemukan dalam penelitian ini adalah kemampuan para generasi muda untuk mengelola informasi yang ditemukan di intenet.
