Abstract

This study aims to develop the concept of quality of work life and work-life balance on job satisfaction and use work motivation as a mediating variable. Data collected were 162 respondents consisting of lower, middle, and upper level employees at the Rizky Amalia General Hospital, Sragen, Central Java, Indonesia. Quantitative approach with questionnaire survey as data collection and statistical analysis with Smart PLs to prove the hypothesis built. The findings show that quality of work life and work-life balance have a significant positive effect on job satisfaction and work motivation both directly and indirectly with work motivation mediation. This study focuses on all employees at the Rizky amalia Hospital consisting of doctors, directors, managers, management staff, field staff (security, office boy, cleaning service, laundry, etc.), and medical personnel (pharmacy, nutrition, nurses, midwives, laboratory analysis, etc.). The contribution of this study is the development of the concept of a motivation model as a mediating variable that has not been developed by previous studies so that it becomes a model that has conceptual novelty.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh arus kas, likuiditas, ukuran perusahaan, utang luar negeri, dan fluktuasi nilai tukar terhadap keputusan hedging pada perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) periode 2021-2023. Metode penelitian menggunakan analisis regresi logistik dengan data sekunder dari laporan keuangan tahunan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ukuran perusahaan dan utang luar negeri memiliki pengaruh positif signifikan terhadap keputusan hedging, sementara arus kas, likuiditas, dan nilai tukar tidak berpengaruh signifikan. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi pada literatur tentang manajemen risiko keuangan, khususnya pada perusahaan sektor manufaktur. Temuan ini menggarisbawahi pentingnya mempertimbangkan ukuran perusahaan dan eksposur utang luar negeri dalam merancang strategi hedging. Penelitian lebih lanjut disarankan untuk memasukkan variabel lain, seperti leverage dan pertumbuhan perusahaan, serta menganalisis dampak berbagai mata uang terhadap keputusan hedging.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji subordinasi Khawārij dalam wacana sosial keagamaan menggunakan teori strukturasi Pierre Bourdieu, bahwa tindakan sosial terjadi karena adanya hubungan kompleks antara habitus, kapital, dan arena. Melalui perspektif habitus, kelompok Khawārij dianalisis sebagai hasil pergumulan sosial yang membentuk karakter kolektif mereka. Studi ini menegaskan pentingnya memandang keberadaan Khawārij bukan sebagai ancaman, melainkan sebagai simbol keterbukaan dan keragaman dalam Islam. Tafsir mencerminkan strategi legitimasi ideologi, alat politik, dan upaya mempertahankan identitas sekte di tengah dinamika sosial-keagamaan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif-normatif dengan teori Pierre Bourdieu untuk memahami praktik sosial dan kekerasan simbolik dalam konteks subordinasi Khawārij. Hasil penelitian ini mengungkap bahwa bagaimana tafsir berfungsi sebagai sumber daya (modal) untuk tarik-menarik wacana idelologis dengan kekuasaan politik dominan, sehingga muncul tafsir berperan sebagai strategi legitimasi ideologi, alat politik, dan mempertahankan identitas Khawārij. Mereka terus terpuruk karena antara habitus, kapital, dan arenanya tidak sebanding lurus dengan ideologi mereka.

Abstract

This study investigates the influence of profitability, company size, and growth on firm value, with capital structure acting as a mediating factor. Utilizing a quantitative research design, the study focuses on manufacturing firms within the primary industry and chemical subsectors listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the year 2023. A purposive sampling technique was employed, and 30 companies were selected that met specific criteria that aligned with the study’s objectives. Profitability was measured using Return on Equity (ROE), while firm size was determined by total assets. Company growth was assessed based on the asset growth rate, and firm value was evaluated through the Price to Book Value (PBV) ratio. Data analysis combined descriptive statistics with classical assumption tests, including normality, multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity, and autocorrelation, followed by multiple linear regression. The findings indicate that ROE, company size and growth have a positive and significant impact on firm value. A higher ROE signifies efficient use of equity to generate profits, while larger company size and higher growth rates suggest improved stability and greater investor trust. The regression analysis showed a high degree of precision, as demonstrated by an adjusted R-square of 95.7%, indicating that the independent variables explain the majority of the variability in firm value. Additionally, the F-test confirmed that the combined effects of these independent variables significantly influence firm value. Ethical considerations, including data collection and analysis processes, were strictly followed to ensure the integrity of the study. Future research may also explore industry-specific characteristics in more detail, as they may affect the relationships between the variables differently across various sectors.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji dampak sentimen investor dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhinya terhadap keputusan investasi. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif, dengan pengumpulan data melalui survei kepada masyarakat di Karesidenan Surakarta yang memiliki pengalaman investasi. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 100 responden yang dipilih dengan metode purposive sampling. Data dianalisis menggunakan teknik Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) dengan bantuan perangkat lunak SmartPLS.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perilaku herding memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan investasi. Sebaliknya, faktor-faktor seperti media, interaksi sosial, dan rekomendasi analisis tidak menunjukkan pengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan investasi. Namun, faktor-faktor tersebut ditemukan memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap sentimen investor. Sentimen investor juga ditemukan berhasil memediasi hubungan antara perilaku herding dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi investor terhadap keputusan investasi. Kata Kunci: Sentimen Investor, Pengambilan Keputusan Investasi, Anteseden, PLS-SEM, SmartPLS, Karesidenan Surakarta.

Abstract

This research analyzes the values of religious moderation in the Al-Qur'an-Hadith Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) teaching book published by the Ministry of Religion in 2020 for classes I-VI. Even though the teaching book includes moderate values, the delivery of the material is not optimal and needs further explanation so that students can receive it well. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method based on library research, categorizing themes related to religious moderation, frequency calculations, and conversion to percentages. The research results show that this book generally contains moderate values, such as civility (ta'addub), exemplary (qudwah), citizenship and nationality (muwatanah), taking the middle path (tawassuṭ), balance (tawazun), straight and firm (i'tidal), deliberation (syura), equality (musawah), tolerance (tasamuh), and dynamic and innovative (tathawwur wa ibtikar). However, these values are mostly not mentioned explicitly in textbooks. One of the values, deliberation (musyawarah), has not been found in the Basic Competencies (KD) or available materials.

Abstract

Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah melakukan analisis pada pengaruh faktor dari likuiditas, leverage, pertumbuhan perusahaan, ukuran perusahaan, dan kebijakan dividen terhadap nilai perusahaan, serta bagaimana peranan kebijakan dividen sebagai faktor pemoderasi. Penelitian ini memiliki objek, yaitu perusahaan yang tercatat pada Bursa Efek Indonesia di sektor basic material. Kuantitatif kausal diterapkan pada penelitian ini sebagai metode penelitian. Purposive sampling diterapkan sebagai teknik pengambilan sampel. Berdasarkan kriteria pada purposive sampling yang ditetapkan peneliti, didapatkan jumlah sampel sebanyak 22 perusahaan dengan tiga periode pengamatan dari tahun 2021-2023 dengan total keseluruhan dari sampel sebanyak 66 data observasi. Temuan penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa faktor ukuran perusahaan dapat berpengaruh signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan dengan arah negatif, sedangkan faktor kebijakan dividen dapat berpengaruh signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan dengan arah positif. Akan tetapi, faktor likuiditas, leverage, dan pertumbuhan perusahaan tidak menunjukan adanya pengaruh yang cukup signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan. Setelah dimasukan kebijakan dividen sebagai faktor pemoderasi, penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa faktor dari kebijakan dividen mampu dalam berperan sebagai faktor pemoderasi pada pengaruh likuiditas, leverage, dan pertumbuhan perusahaan terhadap nilai perusahaan. Akan tetapi, faktor dari kebijakan dividen tidak cukup mampu dalam berperan sebagai faktor pemoderasi pengaruh ukuran perusahaan terhadap nilai perusahaan.

Abstract

The study is aimed at comparing the clinical and institutional outcomes of using two postoperative analgesics regimens, Epidural Levobupivacaine and Syringe Pump Fentanyl, and how these drugs interfere with analgesia control and resource consumptions, patient satisfactory, and system performance. A comparative observational research design was used which covered 60 patients of Total Knee Replacement (TKR) who were in a tertiary orthopedic center. The participants were at random allocated to an Epidural Levobupivacaine or Fentanyl protocol. The collected data included pain scores, adverse events, the readiness of the patient to leave, and satisfaction questionnaires and efficiencies of hospitals in terms of data. The data were analyzed using descriptive and comparative approaches. The Epidural group of patients recorded less pain scores, fewer adverse effects, earlier mobilization and shorter length of stay. The scores of the satisfaction on pain control, comfort and responsiveness were significantly more in the Epidural group. The mode of operation also demonstrated better nursing efficiency and discharge planning, and risk indicators were reduced, e.g. escalation to high-dependency care, with the use of the epidural protocol. Epidural Levobupivacaine represents an effective operational and clinical performance that demonstrates that it can be used as a strategical standar in elective orthopedis care based on systemic opioids. In addition to the analgesic effectiveness, the protocol improves institutional efficiency, minimizes the clinical risk, intensifies patient experience and fits the contemporary performance-based healthcare provision. Pain management must therefore be redefined as an impact component that has a cross-functional component of hospital service design.

Abstract

This study explores the influence of rewards and Green Human Resource Management (GHRM) practices on employee turnover at the Sukoharjo District Land Office, with job satisfaction as a mediating variable. Using Social Exchange Theory and Herzberg’s Two-Factor Theory as the theoretical foundation, the research employed a quantitative method with PLS-SEM to analyze data from 85 purposively selected employees. Rewards included both financial (e.g., bonuses) and non-financial (e.g., recognition), while GHRM encompassed eco-friendly recruitment, environmental training, and employee engagement in sustainability programs. Results show that both rewards and GHRM significantly reduce turnover, with job satisfaction partially mediating these effects, enhancing the impact when employees feel valued and motivated. Among GHRM components, environmental training and participatory green initiatives proved most effective. Despite its contributions, the study is limited to a single public institution and does not address other potential turnover factors such as leadership, work-life balance, or career development. Future research should broaden the context and apply mixed methods to deepen understanding of sustainable HRM strategies.

Abstract

This study investigates the influence of YouTube advertising and electronic word-of-mouth (eWOM) on brand awareness and purchase intention among millennial consumers in Indonesia. This research is guided by the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) and the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) to explain how digital marketing through YouTube ads and eWOM affects consumer behavior. The sample comprises 200 millennial consumers who actively use YouTube. Purposive sampling was employed to target individuals within this specific demographic. The study participants were aged 18–35 years, with varied educational backgrounds and income levels, providing insights into how these factors influence exposure to digital marketing and purchase decisions. Data analysis was conducted using Smart PLS software, with detailed testing for the validity and reliability of the measurement instruments. Specifically, the study examined factor loadings, average variance extracted (AVE), and composite reliability. Hypothesis testing results indicated a significant influence of YouTube and eWOM advertisements on brand awareness. Moreover, both YouTube and eWOM ads significantly impacted purchase intention among Indonesian millennials.
