Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyse the effect of servant leadership on firm performance with absorptive capacity and readiness to change as mediating variables. This research method is quantitative research. The data collection method that will be used in this study uses a questionnaire. In this study, researchers used a Likert scale as a research instrument. The population to be used in this study is Manufacturing Companies in the Wates Yogyakarta area. The sample of this study was 210 respondents. The sampling technique used in this research is non probability sampling technique. The data analysis technique used in this research is Smart Partial Least Square (PLS). The results of this study are that Servant Leadership has a significant effect on Absorptive Capacity. Servant Leadership has no significant effect on Firm Performance. Servant Leadership has a significant effect on Readiness to Change. Absorptive Capacity has a significant effect on Firm Performance. Readiness to Change has a significant effect on Firm Performance. Absorptive Capacity mediates the effect of Servant Leadership on Firm Performance. Readiness to Change mediates the effect of Servant Leadership on Firm Performance.

Abstract

Pemimpin yang beretika atau berperilaku sebagai panutan dengan menunjukkan praktik moral dan etika, sehingga menginspirasi para pengikutnya untuk bersikap dan berperilaku positif. Hal ini pada gilirannya memengaruhi perilaku diskresi yang menguntungkan pekerja dan organisasi. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah pengaruh ethical leadership terhadap innovative performance dengan intellectual capital dan social capital sebagai variabel mediasi. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis metode penelitian kuantitatif. Metode pengumpulan data yang akan digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner. Populasi yang akan digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah karyawan produsen batik di kampung batik Solo Raya. Sampel dari penelitian ini yaitu 100 karyawan produsen batik di kampung batik Solo Raya. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan Teknik Sampling Jenuh. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan Smart Partial Least Square (PLS). Hasil penelitian ini ialah Ethical Leadership berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Intellectual Capital. Ethical Leadership berpengaruh tidak signifikan terhadap Innovative Performance. Ethical Leadership berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Social Capital. Intellectual Capital berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Innovative Performance. Social Capital berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Innovative Performance. Intellectual Capital memediasi pengaruh Ethical Leadership terhadap Innovative Performance. Social Capital memediasi pengaruh Ethical Leadership terhadap Innovative Performance.

Abstract

The more competition between companies, companies strive to create quality resources. The success of the company in carrying out its activities is determined by human resources. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of leader-member exchange on job performance with employee engagement and innovation behavior as mediating variables. This research method is quantitative research. This research uses a method, namely questionnaires, research instruments in data collection. The population to be used in this study are employees of SFA Steak & Resto several outlets in Karanganyar area as many as 100 respondents. The sampling technique used in this study was to use the Saturated Sampling Technique. The data analysis technique used in this research is descriptive analysis and Structural Equation Model (SEM) analysis with Smart Partial Least Square (PLS). The results of this study are Leader Member Exchange has a significant effect on Employee Engagement. Leader Member Exchange has an insignificant effect on Job Performance. Leader Member Exchange has a significant effect on Innovation Behaviour. Employee Engagement has a significant effect on Job Performance. Innovation Behaviour has a significant effect on Job Performance. Leader-Member Exchange has an effect on Employee Engagement mediated by Employee Engagement. Leader-Member Exchange has an effect on Employee Engagement mediated by Innovation Behaviour.
