Abstract

In an effort to realize learning success, teachers must choose models and methods that suit the material and students' abilities. One of the students' abilities that can create active learning is the ability to think critically. This classroom action research aims to improve the critical thinking skills of class IV students at SDN Pagesangan by implementing the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model assisted by the Pancasila Adventure game. The data obtained is based on the results of observations and tests. Data analysis was carried out using descriptive techniques. The research subjects were 29 grade IV students at SDN Pagesangan, including 17 female students and 12 male students. The results of research in cycle I showed that students' critical thinking abilities were in the high category 6.90%, in the medium category 31.04%, in the low category 51.72% and in the very low category 10.34%. In cycle II, it showed that critical thinking skills increased with a very high category of 17.24%, a high category of 68.97%, a medium category of 10.34%, and a low category of 3.45%. Thus, it can be concluded that by implementing the PBL (Problem Based Learning) learning model with the help of the Pancasila Adventure game, it can improve students' critical thinking skills in class IV Pancasila Education learning at SDN Pagesangan.

Abstract

The role of nurses in Mental Health Hospitals (RSJ) is crucial in providing quality mental health care. Motivation and remuneration have been identified as key factors influencing nurse performance in RSJs. This study aims to explore the influence of motivation and remuneration on nurse performance at RSJ Mutiara Sukma. A qualitative approach with regression analysis was used in this study. A sample of 110 nurses was randomly selected from the total population of 153 nurses at RSJ Mutiara Sukma. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and observations. The analysis results showed a significant relationship between motivation, remuneration, and nurse performance. High motivation, both intrinsic and extrinsic factors, positively contributed to nurse performance. Similarly, fair and adequate remuneration also influenced the improvement of nurse performance. These findings emphasize the importance of considering motivation and remuneration as key factors in enhancing nurse performance at RSJ Mutiara Sukma. Hospital management should consider implementing policies that support intrinsic and extrinsic motivation and ensure a fair remuneration system as strategies to improve the effectiveness of mental health care services in the institution.

Abstract

This research aims to improve the communication skills of class IV students in Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) subjects using the educational game "Lifecycle Challenge". The Classroom Action Research (PTK) method was carried out in two cycles, with the participation of 28 students. Data was collected using observation sheets. The research results showed a significant increase from the pre-cycle with students' initial completeness of only 39.29% increasing to 78.57% completeness in cycle 1, and 89.29% in cycle 2. This increase confirms the effectiveness of the "Lifecycle Challenge" in developing students' communication skills. Research recommends educational games as an alternative strategy in science learning and recommends further exploration in a broader context.

Data collection techniques in this study were observation and tests. The results of students' critical thinking skills classically were obtained in the pre-cycle, namely 41.9%, cycle I 61.3% and cycle II 80.6%. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the TGT model can improve the critical thinking skills of class VI students of SDN Pagesangan, especially on the material of the human movement organ system.

Abstract

Juvenile delinquency problems, such as brawls, drug abuse, and cybercrime (including cyberbullying and online gambling), often involve Vocational High School (SMK) students, indicating low legal awareness (legal literacy). The purpose of this community service activity is to equip students as law-abiding citizens and understand the consequences of unlawful actions. The method used through interactive counseling and discussion. The material is focused on six crucial issues relevant to adolescents including Narcotics, Liquor, Bullying, Online Gambling, Brawls/Fights, and Legal Aspects of Protests. The results showed high enthusiasm from the participants and confirmation that the issue of Online Gambling and Bullying has high relevance for students. The implementation of the activity succeeded in providing effective educational interventions, as evidenced by the knowledge transfer that occurred. Furthermore, the program for Building a Culture of Legal Awareness has succeeded in instilling the values of legal compliance from an early age and significantly contributes to building a culture of legal awareness in the school environment.
