Abstract

The application of the Islamic story method can be used as an alternative learning method used in cultivating Islamic religious education. This research is qualitative descriptive research and library research. The data comes from various reading sources, book articles and other sources. The results of the research are: Implementation of the story method in instilling the values ​​of Islamic religious education must be planned as well as possible, both through the story method and Islamic stories for students. This method is very effective in conveying teachings about morals and faith. Providing a good example to students, it can also be through the teacher's profile or good attitude and behavior, it is hoped that students will imitate it, without the teacher providing an example of moral development it will be very difficult to achieve.

Abstract

The problem of infrastructure becomes an obstacle in the learning process, especially in achieving quality and learning achievement. This research is qualitative descriptive research and library research. The data comes from various reading sources, book articles and other sources. The results of the research are: 1. Schools, in improving the quality of PAI learning, need educational facilities in the form of; chalk, markers, blackboards, blackboard erasers, tables, benches, chairs, cupboards, and educational media such as LCDs, cassettes, CDs, VCDs, and TVs. And the infrastructure needed includes; classrooms, libraries, prayer rooms and religious laboratories. PAI teacher. The process of managing educational facilities and infrastructure in schools is: planning procurement of goods, procurement of goods, procurement of facilities, maintenance, inventory, deletion, the process of deleting books that are obsolete and no longer relevant to the existing curriculum has never been carried out at all, books -Old books are still kept and neatly arranged.

Abstract

Student learning problems refer to the challenges students face in receiving or absorbing lessons at school. The learning process for each student does not always run smoothly; sometimes students can quickly grasp the material, while at other times they encounter difficulties. This phenomenon is often observed among learners. The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach, with data sources obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation. The aim of this paper is to help teachers address student learning difficulties in the learning process. The findings of this study are: The efforts of teachers to overcome student learning difficulties in Islamic Religious Education subjects play a very important role. Islamic Education teachers must understand and master strategies to address student learning difficulties. Teachers need to pay attention to the difficulties experienced by each student so that the learning process can achieve its goals effectively and efficiently. One strategy that teachers can implement is directing students to read books in the library related to Islamic Religious Education. Additionally, teachers should be willing to review material that students have not yet understood. Students need to be active in following all the lessons delivered by teachers at school and be diligent in asking teachers questions if there is something they do not understand from the explanations given.

Abstract

The Pancasila student profile is a depiction of the characteristics of graduates that are intended to be developed through the education system. This research employs qualitative descriptive and library research methods, drawing data from various sources such as readings, books, articles, and other references. The findings reveal that the Pancasila student profile consists of six main dimensions: a) belief in and devotion to the One Almighty God and noble conduct, b) independence, c) mutual cooperation, d) global diversity, e) critical thinking, and f) creativity. These dimensions are closely intertwined with the values of Islamic Education, as evidenced by numerous Quranic verses discussing each dimension. This underscores Islam's relevance in addressing contemporary challenges. Therefore, it is crucial for Islamic Education teachers to actively contribute to realizing these six Pancasila student profiles, aiming to cultivate a generation strong in faith and noble character.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the use of learning media in the context of integrated thematic learning at Al Muhammad Cepu Middle School in the 2023/2024 academic year. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The location of the research was at Al Muhammad Cepu Middle School. The research subjects included the Principal, Deputy Principal, and Class VII Teachers at Al Muhammad Cepu Middle School. The results of the research show that the use of learning media in Integrated Thematic learning in class VII Al Muhammad Cepu Middle School, if designed well, can act as an effective learning media. This media is able to facilitate and improve the quality of learning, increase student learning motivation, support individual learning according to student abilities, and can be used as a tool to convey direct messages. The use of learning media also helps in presenting messages so as not to focus too much on verbalization, as well as overcoming limitations of space, time and sensory power in the learning process. Another supporting factor is the availability of adequate learning media facilities in schools and positive responses from students towards the use of this media. The existence of learning media makes students more interested and motivated to learn, because this media helps clarify the concepts being taught and minimizes boredom in the learning process.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the deformation, equivalent elastic strain, and safety factor of a bracket bracket made from two different materials by using the Finite Element Method, specifically aluminum alloy 6061 T6 and cast iron EN GJL 100. The result of this study is that the Aluminum Alloy 6061T6 material has a deformation of 3.57E-04 whereas the Cast iron EN GJL 100 material is 2.75E-04. In the elastic strain equivalent test, the Aluminium alloy 6061 T6 material is 3.00-E07 and in the Cast Iron EN G JL 100 materials is 2.32E-07. In the safety factor test, Cast Iron En G J L 100 material was better than 1.8617 compared to the Alumium Alloys 60 61 T6 materials are 1.5125. This shows that Cast Iron E GJ L 100 materials are better in deformations, eqeuivalent elastic stations, and safety factors in this case.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Quantum Learning method in teaching Al-Qur'an and Hadith at SDN 249/VI Rawa Jaya. The background of this research lies in the need for innovation in Islamic education to improve students' understanding, motivation, and engagement. Quantum Learning offers an interactive, creative, and enjoyable approach, making it relevant to address challenges in conventional learning, such as low student interest and difficulties in understanding the material. The study uses a quantitative descriptive method with a quasi-experimental design approach. The research subjects were students of SDN 249/VI Rawa Jaya selected purposively. Data was collected through learning outcome tests, questionnaires, observations, and documentation. A pre-test was conducted to measure students' initial abilities, while a post-test assessed the effectiveness of the Quantum Learning method. Questionnaires were distributed to gather students’ responses to the method, while observations recorded students’ activities and engagement during the learning process. The results showed a significant improvement in students' post-test scores after implementing the Quantum Learning method. The average scores of students increased significantly compared to their pre-test results. Moreover, students responded positively to the method, expressing that the learning process became more engaging, easier to understand, and enjoyable. Observations revealed that the method successfully created an interactive learning environment, where students actively participated in group discussions, educational games, and visually-based activities. Inferential analysis using the t-test demonstrated that the Quantum Learning method had a significant impact on students’ learning outcomes. The method not only enhanced students' cognitive understanding but also positively influenced their affective aspects, such as motivation and confidence in studying Al-Qur'an and Hadith. In conclusion, the Quantum Learning method is proven effective in improving students’ learning outcomes at SDN 249/VI Rawa Jaya. However, the study identified some challenges, such as limited time and the need for teacher training to optimize the method. It is recommended that schools support the implementation of this method by allocating sufficient time, providing teacher training, and developing adequate learning facilities. This research is expected to serve as a reference for developing more effective and innovative Islamic education methods at the elementary school level.

Abstract

 Library in Indonesia is now facing a crisis of leadership where the leader of library is dominated by people who are not librarian. This condition is not in accordance with government regulation number 24, 2014 article 39. There are two assumption arouse regarding this issue, first is on the regulation on election of Head Library and the second one is on the librarian who doesn't have competence to be chosen as Head of Library. Seeing this phenomenon, it is important to study on what qualification and competence needed to be the head of library in Indonesia. Hopefully with this study, we will have the head of library who’s having a good qualification and competence in the field. This study employ literature methodology, which studying literature on qualification and competence of Head of Library. The result is that the qualification for head of library in province and district is at least Bachelor degree of diploma with minimum 5 years of experience in the field of library. While head of national library or university library, the minimum educational background is at least master degree with 10 years of experience in library field. For the point on competence of head of library, there are no exact regulation to regulate this from The National Library Committee. From some concept, writer proposes four basic competence which the candidate should have, which are planning, decision making, communication, and giving motivation.

Abstract

This research applied three working methods, namely 3D modeling, quantity take-off (QTO), and bar bending schedule (BBS). The main objective of this research was to compare the calculation results of the conventional method with the Building Information Modeling (BIM) method in the construction of the Samudra University Integrated Laboratory Building. The implementation of BIM showed significant differences compared to the conventional approach, especially in 3D visual output and cost estimation (5D). The application of BIM facilitated more accurate 3D modeling and faster and more efficient cost estimation. In addition, BIM also improved the construction inspection process as it allowed the checking of work items without the need for manual inspection one by one. The QTO results using BIM (Revit Student Version) show a difference in calculation volume compared to the conventional method. In the concrete work, there had been a difference of 23.27 m³ or 2.08%, while in the screw reinforcement work, there had been a difference of 9,597.69 kg or 10.33%. For plain reinforcement, there had been a difference of 3,497.28 kg or 3.86%, and the total weight of reinforcement had been 13,094.96 kg or 7.14%.
