Abstract

Abstract

The textile industry is one of the strategic sectors in Indonesia's economy, with great potential to attract investment. However, the dependency on imported raw materials has become a major obstacle in enhancing the competitiveness of this industry. This study aims to analyze strategies for increasing investment in the textile sector through strengthening the upstream industry and managing local raw materials. The research method used is a literature review with a qualitative approach and descriptive analysis, utilizing data from Google Scholar from 2012 to 2025. Out of 30 initial articles found, only 17 were selected based on strict criteria. The findings show that strengthening the upstream industry through increased local raw material production, the development of alternative fiber innovations, and the implementation of investment incentive policies can enhance the self-sufficiency of the textile sector and reduce dependency on imports. Various case studies discussed show that investment in research and development (R&D), the development of textile industrial zones, and the implementation of a circular economy can improve production efficiency and global competitiveness. The implications of this study include the enhancement of national textile industry resilience, job creation, and strengthening sustainable policies in managing local raw materials. Therefore, support from the government, industry players, and academics is needed to implement appropriate strategies to strengthen the upstream industry and attract investment in the textile sector.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to calculate Indonesia's electronic export potential to 14 countries during the period 2007-2022 using a panel-gravity approach using the PPML technique. The results of this study confirm the positive and significant relationship between Indonesia's electronics exports and the main component of the gravity model, namely Indonesia's GDP and trading partners. Another variability is the economic openness of trading partners has a positive relationship and exchange rates have a positive but not significant relationship. Variability of distance, and trade agreements have a negative relationship with Indonesia's electronic exports. The results for electronic export potential show that Indonesian electronics still have a lot of leverage to increase its exports to 9 countries. Thus, the position of the electronics industry as a potential industry can be carried out by targeting these countries. But to capitalize on the potential benefits of electronics exports, policymakers need to strengthen infrastructure and regulations related to the electronics industry.

Abstract

Digital consumer behavior has changed because of Generation Z which requires companies to build customer satisfaction together with digital customer delight as their main competitive advantage. The research investigates how access speed and shopping transaction security and unexpected value impact digital customer delight for Generation Z users. The study used quantitative research methods to conduct its research through explanatory research design. The researchers conducted a survey which collected data from 220 Generation Z digital users who participated through purposive sampling. The researchers performed data analysis using multiple linear regression after conducting validity testing and reliability testing and classical assumption tests. The study results show that access speed and transaction security together with unexpected value lead to digital customer delight. Access speed functions as a technical factor which improves efficiency together with flow experience while transaction security establishes trust and psychological comfort and unexpected value serves as the primary emotional factor which creates positive surprises and unforgettable moments. The study results show that Generation Z people experience delight through their technology use and their access to security measures together with the experiential marketing elements. The research outcomes provide digital companies with marketing system design and strategy development guidance which will enhance customer satisfaction and create enduring customer loyalty.
