Abstract

This study aims to determine the correlation between environmental determinants and health protocol behavior with symptoms of Covid-19 exposure. The research method used was survey with a quantitative approach. The data were analyzed using correlation and multiple linear regression. The research was conducted at Laboratory Companies, South Jakarta, from November to January 2024. The sampling technique used. The sampling technique used was simple random sampling, and the sample size was 31 employees working at Laboratory Companies, in South Jakarta. The results of a regression analysis was the formula of Y = 36.979 - 0.321X1 - 0.181X2. The results of the significance and linearity test were Fcount 15.92 > Ftable 4.04 at α = 0.05. The correlation coefficient between the physical office environment and employee health protocol behavior with symptoms of Covid-19 exposure  was 0.729, R = 0.53, meaning that the relationship between X1 + X2 and Y is 53%. The results of the study showed that there was a negative and significant relationship between the physical office environment and employee health protocol behavior with symptoms of exposure to Covid-19. was simple random sampling, and the sample size was 31 employees working at Laboratory Companies, in South Jakarta. Abstract

This research is purposed to determine adsorbtion of activated carbon which is made from cassava peel to reduce heavy metals such as ion Fe in the water. The process is consist two main stages which is carbonisation and activation. The carbonization process was carried on different temperature such as 300, 400, 500, 550, 600 ˚C. Then a resulted 5 samples was soaked in 30% NaOH liquid for 1 hours. As the result the lowest water degree is 3,63% which is furnaced by 500˚C. Testing activated carbon absorption to heavy metals such as ion Fe using atomic adsorption spectrofotometric (AAS). The result showed that the most optimum adsorption is activated carbon that furnaced by 600 ˚C with value Effectiviy 51,97%

Abstract

Permasalahan lingkungan yang sekarang terjadi, salah satunya adalah permasalahan sampah, yang kian hari terus menumpuk jumlahnya. Undang-undang No. 18 Tahun 2008 tentang Pengelolaan Sampah menjelaskan perlunya perubahan pola pengelolaan sampah konvensional menjadi pengelolaan sampah yang bertumpu pada pengurangan dan penanganan sampah. Sekolah Dasar Negeri 03 Cipulir, Kebayoran Lama, Jakarta Selatan merupakan sekolah dasar yang sudah memulai kegiatan pengelolaan sampah dengan cara memilah sampah. Sampah yang banyak di sekolah ini diakibatkan oleh kegiatan perkantoran dan kegiatan murid. Akibat Jauhnya Tempat Pembuangan Akhir (TPA) serta ketergantungan pada Tempat Pembuangan Sementara, menjadikan sampah menjadi persoalan penting. Sosialisasi, penyuluhan dan pelatihan pengelolaan sampah dilakukan untuk meminimalisasi dampak buruk yang disebabkan oleh menumpuknya sampah. Pengelolaan sampah yang akan dilakukan adalah dengan metode komposting dengan Keranjang Takakura. Sasaran sosialisasi, penyuluhan dan pelatihan adalah Guru dan karyawan sekolah yang merupakan penggerak yang potensial dalam mengelola sampah. Para murid juga merupakan generasi penerus yang diperlukan dalam mengelola sampah.

Abstract

This study has been conducted to validate the method of determining oil and fat in water with fourier transform infra-red (FTIR) type L1600100 spectrum two serial number 123010. This study aims to determine the method of oil and fat analysis using fourier transform infra-red (FTIR) can measure oil and fat levels up to 1 mg / l. The results obtained were compared with the acceptance requirements obtained. The results obtained were compared with the acceptance requirements set by PT Kehatilab Indonesia so that it can be used for routine analysis. Based on the experiments that have been carried out for the linearity test, the coefficient of determination (R2) value is 0.9996. The accuracy test obtained a %recovery value of 98.20% with a range value of (96.29 - 100.54)%. The precision test obtained a %RSD value of 1.48%. LoQ (Limit of Quantity) test obtained a value of 0.5 mg/l. MDL (Method Detection Limit) test obtained a value of 0.2 mg / l. The repeatability test obtained a %RSD value of 4.22% for low levels, 4.85% for medium levels and 3.01% for high levels. The reproducibility test obtained a %RSD value of 4.24% for low levels, 4.21% for medium levels and 3.71% for high levels. All test parameters have met the acceptance requirements so that the method of determining oil and fat content in water with fourier transform infra-red (FTIR) can be used for routine analysis at PT Kehatilab Indonesia.

Abstract

One of the most hazardous environmental pollutants that existed is silver liquid waste produced in photographic processing. Some types of water plants are believed to be able to absorb organic, inorganic, and other chemical compounds contained in liquid waste, water spinach (Ipoemea aquatica) being one of them. This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of water spinach (Ipoemea aquatica) in controlling silver liquid waste (Ag) contamination in water. The research design used was randomized block design. The data was then analyzed using a particular formula. The results of the study showed that after 15 days of treatment, water spinach (Ipoemea aquatica) was found to be effective in significantly reducing temperature and level of silver (Ag), but not the pH of the waste liquid. The highest effectiveness was observed when fifteen water spinach (Ipoemea aquatica) plants were used; temperature fell 17.90% (1.60% from the control value; and the level of silver (Ag) fell 5.30%

Abstract

Masalah sampah sering dijumpai di berbagai wilayah, baik wilayah permukiman, perkotaan, pedesaan, maupun perindustrian. Jika masalah sampah tidak ditangani dengan benar, dapat menimbulkan masalah yang serius bagi lingkungan dan manusia. Permasalahan sampah merupakan hal yang krusial. Bahkan dapat dikatakan sebagai masalah kultural. Hutan Kota GBK juga menawarkan berbagai aktivitas yang dapat dilakukan oleh pengunjung. Kegiatan ini tentunya akan menimbulkan dampak sampingan, di antaranya timbulan sampah, timbulan guguran daun. Timbulan sampah dan timbulan guguran daun ini, sehingga perlu sosialisasi dan pelatihan untuk pengelolaan timbulan sampah tersebut.

Abstract

Kementerian Lingkungan Hidup dan Kehutanan merilis data terbaru berkaitan volume sampah yang ada di negara Indonesia pada tahun 2021 tercatat 18,2 juta ton/tahun dari 154 Kabupaten/kota se-Indonesia. Sedangkan sampah yang mampu dikelola dengan baik hanya sebanyak 13,2 juta ton/tahun atau setara dengan 72,95%. Hal ini dapat terjadi dikarenakan masih terbatasnya daya tampung tempat pembuangan sampah baik Tempat Pemrosesan Akhir (TPA) maupun Tempat Penampungan Sementara (TPS), hingga minimnya standar dalam pengelolaan sampah yang sudah diterapkan. Dari kondisi yang telah terurai diatas, untuk pengelolaan sampah bukan hanya tugas dari pemerintah saja, melainkan ada peran serta dari masyarakat maupun pelaku yang harus bertanggungjawab agar lingkungan tetap bersih dan sehat. Untuk mengatasi masalah sampah, maka pemerintah melalui Dinas Lingkungan Hidup Perumahan Rakyat dan Pemukiman sejak bulan September 2019 mulai mencanangkan konsep bank sampah. Pengelolaan bank sampah harus dilakukan secara kreatif dan inovatif dengan mendampingkan teknologi informasi yang berkelanjutan untuk menunjang kegiatan pengelolaan dana nasabah bank sampah dengan baik dan transparan. Tim PkM Fakultas Teknik Universitas Satya Negara Indonesia melakukan sosialisasi dan penyuluhan kepada mitra pengelola bank sampah di wilayah Kelurahan Grogol Selatan berkaitan dengan penggunaan aplikasi digitalisasi bank sampah. Hasil responbility dari para peserta kegiatan sosialisasi ini bermanfaat untuk menunjang aktivitas peserta dengan direpresentasikan sebesar 83,33%.
