Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of the supervisory function of the DPRD Temanggung Regency in terms of planning, implementation, and evaluation, to find out the efforts made by the DPRD to improve the quality of education in Temanggung Regency and to find out the obstacles faced by the DPRD in overseeing the quality of education in Temanggung Regency. The research used is qualitative research, while the research approach used is descriptive qualitative research. The object of this research is the DPRD of Temanggung Regency. The method used in this study is a descriptive method that is carried out in a systematic, factual, and accurate manner regarding the facts, nature, and relationship of the phenomena being investigated. The data were obtained through interviews, document studies, and observation. The results of this study indicate that: (1) The implementation of the DPRD's supervisory function to improve the quality of education in Temanggung Regency from the planning, implementation, and evaluation side has been going well and in accordance with statutory regulations; (2) The efforts that have been made by the DPRD to improve the quality of education in Temanggung Regency are through the legislative function and through the budgeting function; (3) Obstacles faced by the DPRD in supervising the quality of education in Temanggung Regency are limited human resources, both in terms of numbers, educational background, the background of interest and level of understanding of DPRD Members regarding the supervisory function, limited time, limited authority, limited information and there is a wrong perception of the supervision carried out by the DPRD.

Abstract

Ma’had/Pondok Pesantren memiliki kultur yang memang benar-benar ditanamkan kepada para santriwati dalam rangka membentuk karakter santriwati agar menjadi pribadi yang berakhlak mulia. Pembiasaan dan pendisiplinan santriwati bisa disebut sebagai hidden curriculum (kurikulum yang tersembunyi) dalam rangka membentuk karakter santriwati. Akhlak tidak bisa sekedar diajarkan sebagai ilmu pengetahuan tapi perlu adanya pembiasaan, suri tauladan yang terus diulang-ulang, sehingga pendidikan di pesantren itu apa yang diajarkan, didengar, dilihat dan dirasakan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari di ma’had. Ma’had Bina Madani putri di Grabag saat ini memiliki berbagai program kegiatan dalam rangka membentuk karakter santriwati dan juga membekali santriwati dengan keterampilan hidup atau life skills, meskipun program ini tidak langsung bertujuan mencetak santriwati yang terampil dalam berkarya, namun membekali berbagai dasar keterampilan untuk berkarya maupun soft skills yang diharapkan mampu dikembangkan setelah lulus dari pesantren. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana penerapan hidden curriculum dalam tradisi pondok pesantren: Pendidikan karakter dan life skills yang dilaksanakan di Ma’had Bina Madani putri di Grabag

Abstract

The research objective is to find out how to improve the quality of online learning for students at MI Al Islam Balesari during the Covid-19 pandemic through information technology. The method used in this study uses qualitative methods with techniques for collecting relevant data information through documents, books, magazines and news. This research uses qualitative methods by producing information in the form of notes and descriptive data contained in the documents studied. In breaking the spread of the Covid-19 virus, the government emphasizes learning activities to be carried out at each home using online learning. information that there are still many factors that hinder educators, MI Al Islam Balesari students and also parents in implementing online learning. With the implementation of online learning that is carried out at home, it creates problems for students and also educators, such as the delivery of learning that is not maximal to be conveyed. In the end, students are given additional assignments, as a result, the tasks that students have become more numerous, this can become a burden for students. educators as well as parents. The implementation of online learning must be improved immediately to improve the quality of education during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

The dynamics of life make human beings required to move with speed, accuracy, alertness, intellectual, emotional, spiritual development and creativity. With so many challenges, conventional methods will no longer be able to meet the needs of education in the present and future so a new educational concept called full day school emerges, where learning carried out in schools is carried out for a day full of informal atmosphere, not rigid, pleasing students, also full of creativity and innovation from teachers. The characteristics of this full day school system prioritize morals and academic achievement with the aim of providing a strong foundation for students and developing interests and talents and increasing the intelligence of students in all aspects. The advantages of full day school compared to regular schools are that children get a complete education including cognitive, affective, and psychomotor, more learning than play, high productivity, and the potential of children channeled through extracurricular activities at school. Research related to full day school that has been carried out shows that full day school has a positive influence on improving the character, morals, akhlaq, and academic achievement of students. This research is descriptive, using a qualitative approach. The data collection technique carried out is to use field observations, interviews and literature reviews.

Abstract

Abstract— This study aims to describe the management of Islamic education institutions to improve the quality of Islamic boarding schools. This research phase consisted of a number of activities, namely (1) examining the units of analysis, (2) mapping the management models of Islamic educational institutions, and (3) analyzing the management model of Islamic education to improve the quality of education in the research object. The Islamic boarding school chosen as the research location is the Pabelan Islamic Boarding School, Magelang. Pabelan Islamic Boarding School is a boarding school that has proven its existence and has graduated many alumni who are widely active in Indonesia. To facilitate this research, researchers used the theory of quality management of Islamic educational institutions which is based on four quality indicators, namely (1) the quality of graduates, (2) the quality of the learning process, (3) the quality of school services and (4) the quality of the school environment. The research method uses a qualitative descriptive method. The research subjects were leaders, senior teachers and students. The research subjects were the analysis of the quality management of the Kulliyatul Mu'allim Al-Islamiyah Pabelan Islamic Boarding School and confirmation of the correctness of the material through source triangulation and method triangulation. The results of the analysis are expected to be able to formulate quality management for Islamic educational institutions in Indonesia. This study will analyze strategies to improve the quality of education, the factors that support and inhibit the process of improving the quality of education, and the efforts made by the Pabelan Islamic Boarding School in improving the quality of education

Abstract

Mauquf ' alaih or targets of the Waqf is an important element in studies of law of Waqf. Mauquf ' alaih covering fields of life of mankind, such as religious, educational, health, and social. In a consumerist, wakaf mauquf ' alaih service in fields that have been defined and are not experiencing significant development. Whereas in the endowments ' alaih mauquf productive, more varied and dynamic. It could be, ' alaih mauquf mentioned in the deed of pledge a specific field in the form of endowments but extends in its development so that it covers the areas that are not mentioned. Mauquf ' alaih that has been ditentutan it is called mauquf ' alaih typical mauquf ' alaih unspecified and is the impact of the development of the Waqf called mauquf ' alaih ' am. Keywords: productive, wakaf mauquf ' alaih ' alaih mauquf special General   Abstrak Mauquf ‘alaih atau sasaran wakaf merupakan unsur penting dalam kajian hukum wakaf. Mauquf ‘alaih meliputi bidang-bidang kehidupan umat manusia, seperti keagamaan, pendidikan, kesehatan, dan sosial. Dalam wakaf konsumtif, mauquf ‘alaih berupa layanan dalam bidang yang telah ditentukan dan tidak mengalami perkembangan yang signifikan. Sedangkan dalam wakaf produktif, mauquf ‘alaih lebih bervariasi dan dinamis. Bisa jadi, mauquf ‘alaih yang disebutkan dalam akta ikrar wakaf berupa bidang tertentu tetapi pada perkembangannya meluas sehingga meliputi bidang-bidang yang tidak disebutkan. Mauquf ‘alaih yang telah ditentutan itu disebut mauquf ‘alaih khas dan mauquf ‘alaih yang tidak ditentukan dan merupakan dampak dari perkembangan wakaf tersebut disebut mauquf ‘alaih ‘am.   Kata kunci: wakaf produktif, mauquf ‘alaih khusus, mauquf ‘alaih umum.

Abstract

This research is based on the quality of Islamic education that needs to be improved. This study aims to analyze the implementation of TQM and ESQ in Assalaam Modern Islamic Boarding School Temanggung. This research is a qualitative descriptive research. Data collection was carried out using observation, interviews, and documentation techniques. The results showed that: (1) Overall, Assalaam Modern Islamic Boarding School has implemented the TQM strategy well, with the principle of four things, namely customer satisfaction, respect for everyone, fact-based management, and continuous improvement. (2) ESQ at Assalaam Modern Islamic Boarding School is implemented by conducting trainings that focus on developing the personality and character of students, such as speech exercises and discussions. In addition, it is also taught always to implement three principles, namely the Pillars of Faith, the Pillars of Islam, and Ihsan (3). The students are taught how to convey religious messages clearly and easily understood by the community. However, not many students can become preachers in the community, and there still needs to be an improvement in the quality of learning and evaluation every year, especially in raising awareness and motivation for every student about the importance of being a preacher. This research recommends implementing ESQ-based TQM to improve the quality of learning in Islamic boarding schools in Indonesia.

Abstract

Among the challenges encountered by zakat institutions in Indonesia are traditional management practices and limited collaboration with other institutions. This study employs qualitative research methodologies to analyse the distribution of zakat with the aim of enhancing human resource quality through a networking framework involving fellow zakat institutions. The development model is manifested in the form of a flagship programme, Rumah Gemilang Indonesia (RGI) Magelang Campus, which results from collaboration between Lembaga Amil Zakat Dana Kemanusiaan Dhuafa (LAZ DKD) Magelang City and Lembaga Amil Zakat Nasional (LAZNAS) Al-Azhar Peduli Ummat Jakarta. Data collection techniques were conducted through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis involved a series of activities, including data reduction, data presentation, and deriving conclusions. The findings of the study indicate that network development is essential for zakat institutions to enhance their performance in fundraising and distribution programmes. The collaboration between LAZ DKD and LAZNAS Al-Azhar, exemplified by the Rumah Gemilang Indonesia (RGI) Magelang Campus, has demonstrated significant benefits that bolster the development of zakat management for both institutions. For LAZNAS Al-Azhar, the RGI Magelang Campus represents a key programme for zakat fund distribution, while for LAZ DKD, it serves as a leading initiative to foster closer ties with the community. The partnership between the two institutions continues to evolve, giving rise to additional pioneering programmes that are mutually beneficial and have empowering effects on the mustahiq. From an Islamic legal perspective, the distribution of zakat for the empowerment of the impoverished youth is permissible, as they are classified among the groups entitled to receive zakat. Through this training programme, it is anticipated that participants will emerge as individuals capable of paying zakat in the future.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the quality management of Islamic education to develop religious moderation awareness in mountain communities. This study was conducted using a qualitative descriptive method approach. The location of this study was the Merapi Merbabu Community Islamic Boarding School. The theory used as an analytical tool is the total quality management or TQM theory which consists of three indicators, namely customer focus, continuous process improvement, and total involvement of all elements of management. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the Merapi Merbabu Community Islamic Boarding School has implemented TQM principles in implementing the quality of Islamic education and developing a religious moderation model. PM3 has established an activity plan that refers to customer satisfaction, implementation and improvement that are carried out continuously, and involves all stakeholders in every stage of management. The planning stage, implementation stage, and evaluation stage are carried out to realize the goals of a quality Islamic educational institution. By adhering to these TQM principles, PM3 has developed into an institution that not only produces graduates who excel in religious knowledge, but also becomes a moderation agent that is able to play a role in maintaining social harmony and diversity.

Abstract

Learning the Quran for people with disabilities is carried out with management that is by the conditions of the students. The process of learning the sign Qur'an for deaf students is carried out using the Kitabah and Tilawah method which is expected to make it easier and faster for students to read. This study aims to describe the application of Kitabah and Tilawah for deaf students in reading the Quran, and to describe the supporting and inhibiting factors in the process of learning the Quran Isyarat at the Magelang Deaf Education Foundation. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative research. The object of this study is students at the Magelang Deaf Education Foundation. The results of the study indicate that (1) the Kitabah and Tilawah method can help and make it easier for students to read the Quran Isyarat. (2) Learning the Quran for deaf students faces many obstacles, namely a lack of sincerity, such as no enthusiasm for memorizing, lack of concentration such as when other students memorize, it turns out that someone is talking or chatting with their friends, so that the other students' concentration is divided. The supporting factors are good motivation from the participants, regular guidance from the teachers, and long experience from the institution in managing learning. Teachers are asked to have stronger patience when providing motivation and guiding deaf participants at the Magelang Deaf Education Foundation.
