Abstract

This research aims to assess the effectiveness of Fibonacci retracement in establishing take profit and stop loss levels for stocks within the LQ45 Index. The study utilizes a quantitative approach with a descriptive method, analyzing daily stock price data from January 2021 to December 30, 2021, through the Fibonacci retracement indicator. The research sample comprises 10 companies listed in the LQ45 Index, selected based on specific criteria. The results demonstrate that Fibonacci retracement is effective in pinpointing significant levels for determining take profit and stop loss, achieving an effectiveness rate of 74%. Fibonacci levels such as 38.2% and 61.8% have proven to be crucial references in establishing take profit and stop loss positions. These findings endorse the use of Fibonacci retracement as a technical analysis tool capable of maximizing profit potential while minimizing losses, particularly in markets experiencing an uptrend or downtrend.

Abstract

The deceleration of the global economy resulted in a significant decline in world commodity prices, especially coal. The decline in these commodities made the stock price of the coal subsector decline. This study aims to analyze the accuracy of William's moving average and fractal indicator prediction signals with actual results on stock charts. The method used in this study is the Mann Whitney test. The study's conclusions show that the use of both technical analysis indicators to predict the direction of changes or movements in stock prices produces accurate findings, with predictive signals from fractal indicators and moving averages not much different from each other. Based on the accuracy rates of 87% and 85% respectively for William's fractals and moving averages, it can be concluded that William's fractal indicator is significantly more reliable than moving averages in predicting buy and sell signals for mining stock. Based on the findings of this study, both short- and long-term investors can benefit from using the Williams fractal indicator to predict future price trends and identify when to buy and sell stocks to maximize profits.

Abstract

In the rapidly evolving digital age, the Islamic capital market faces significant challenges related to investment literacy and the utilization of security crowdfunding. This study seeks to identify and address these challenges by examining the impact of investment knowledge on the effectiveness of Sharia-compliant security crowdfunding platforms. Through a systematic literature review (SLR) of over 50 studies across multiple regions, we focus on individual investors participating in the Islamic capital markets. Our analysis reveals a pervasive gap in investment literacy, with 65% of potential investors lacking a fundamental understanding of financial principles, risk management, and Sharia-compliant investment specifics. This deficiency critically impedes the optimal use of security crowdfunding platforms. Furthermore, the study highlights the increasing reliance on digital platforms, underscoring the urgent need for targeted educational programs and enhanced regulatory frameworks. We propose developing comprehensive educational initiatives centered on Islamic finance principles and bolstering regulatory support to promote informed and inclusive participation in the Islamic financial ecosystem. Our findings suggest that such initiatives could improve investment literacy by up to 40%, enabling more effective engagement with digital investment platforms. Additionally, we recommend that future research delve into demographic factors affecting investment literacy and assess the efficacy of different educational programs. By addressing these issues, the Islamic capital market can better harness the potential of security crowdfunding in the digital era, ultimately fostering growth and inclusivity.

Abstract

In recent years, the rise of fintech has revolutionized the landscape of business financing, offering innovative solutions that align with ethical frameworks. This study delves into the potential of Sharia-compliant fintech equity crowdfunding as a transformative tool for business financing, particularly for entrepreneurs and small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) seeking alternative funding routes. Unlike traditional financial systems, Sharia-compliant crowdfunding adheres to Islamic principles, focusing on equity-based financing which prohibits interest (riba) and promotes risk-sharing. This research aims to bridge the gap in existing literature by exploring new theories and concepts surrounding this financing method, examining its practical application and potential benefits. The study adopts a mixed-methods approach, combining qualitative and quantitative data collection techniques. Surveys and in-depth interviews were conducted with 200 business actors across diverse sectors and regions, focusing on their experiences and perceptions of Sharia-compliant equity crowdfunding. Additionally, case studies of successful crowdfunding campaigns were analyzed to highlight effective strategies and common challenges faced by participants. Data analysis was performed using thematic analysis for qualitative data and statistical methods for quantitative data, providing a comprehensive picture of the current landscape. The findings reveal that Sharia-compliant equity crowdfunding significantly enhances financial inclusion by offering a viable financing avenue that aligns with ethical values, thereby attracting a broader range of investors. Moreover, businesses that have embraced this financing method reported substantial growth and development, indicating a positive correlation between Sharia-compliant crowdfunding and economic advancement. However, the study also identifies several barriers to widespread adoption, including limited awareness and understanding of Sharia financing principles, as well as restricted access to platforms in certain regions. To address these challenges, the research suggests implementing targeted educational initiatives and improving platform accessibility to maximize the potential benefits of Sharia-compliant equity crowdfunding.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of financial performance on investment policies in telecommunication companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2019-2023 period. In this study, four main financial ratios, namely Current Ratio (CR), Debt-to-Equity Ratio (DER), Return on Assets (ROA), and Working Capital Turnover (WCT) are used as independent variables to measure their impact on the company's investment policy. The data used is sourced from the company's annual financial statements available on the IDX. The analysis method used is multiple linear regression to see the relationship between financial variables and investment policy. The results show that the Current Ratio has no significant influence on investment policy and Return on Assets has a positive and significant influence on investment policy, while the Debt-to-Equity Ratio shows a significant positive influence. Working Capital Turnover does not have a significant influence on investment policy. This finding provides practical implications for company management in designing optimal investment policies based on the company's financial performance.

The success of Sharia economics is contingent upon adhering to the principles of Islamic economics in all its actions. Because of this, it is essential to get a complete understanding through Sharia economic education, which covers many vital principles that greatly help the growth of national character education with an Islamic focus.
