Abstract

Abstract: Seeing the development of music in Surabaya today is very much different from the previous era , there are many musicians from Surabaya are able to vibrate with amazing work . tOne of them is Ballad music genres , there are some big names of Ballads legendary musicians from the city of Surabaya , as Gombloh , Franky Sahilatua , and Leo Kristi . But unfortunately this genre of music began to be abandoned by the people of Surabaya . Especially after Gombloh and Franky died , and Leo Kristi began to move to Bandung . This music is no longer heard in the city of Surabaya . It is also due to the absence participate publish media , in particular through the book . Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of creation of a media campaign Solo Mangkunegaran this is to preserve local cultural heritage. The study was conducted using qualitative research method is by conducting interviews, observation, documentation, and literature to obtain the data used to support conception. Data were analyzed using several stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. From the data analysis found some keywords that will be used to reach the intended target audience. After analyzing the data, found a concept or keyword of "The majesty of noble". Description of the concept of "the majesty of noble" is a grandeur of the noble values in Mangkunegaran. In this case how to maintain local cultural heritage that is Mangkunegaran Solo to be able to be promoted with the right strategy to the target audience. Abstract

AbstractWayang Wahyu is the one of local culture that owned by Indonesian Nation, which is a performance art with media images or mock that made by leather and wood that tell the stories from Old Testament to the New Testament. But in a real situation, Wayang Wahyu is now being forgeted because so many incoming foreign culture that appear, a lack of awareness that known how importance the local culture, and required an exciting the new media to delivering the message of the Bible for children. Based on observation, interview, and literature, found the fact that children are less familiar with traditional art of Wayang Wahyu. Therefore, the purpose of this creation is to revive the existence of Wayang Wahyu for introduce to children. The method that used to create an illustrated book of the Bible is using the characters by puppet in order to make a sense of belonging and not effected the foreign taste in the message of Bible stories that will be delivered, equipped with two languages (Indonesian – Javanese language), interactive pages, also supported some promotional media like mini X-banners, display character, key chains, bookmarks, stickers and pins. Through this illustrated book of the Bible, can be used the attractive preaching for Christianity and introduce the Wayang Wahyu as local cultural to the children. Abstract

Every parents has their own way to lecture their children. But because they feel like their children is theirs solely, some parents apply their policies as their wishes despite how much the intensities. Sometimes the harsh acts turns into child abuses in home. Child abuse is still happening and even increasing every year. Other than wrong way of parent’s lecturing, child abuse sometimes happens because of parent’s impingement even though campaign of children’s rights often provided by many institutions in Indonesia. Child abuses can affect children’s growth in the future. Some cases even gives children trauma, making them passive or even worse, becomes rebellious. This research will provide a friendly learning media for children to anticipate so they know how to behave  when they see things in reality. The learning media will be made in children story book so they have image about unusual acts in home. Research will use David McClelland’s theory, n-Ach, so children have motivation to be a successful person in term of being positive when meet the conditions. Keywords: Child Abuse, Children Story Book

Abstract

The design of this book aims to increase the reading interest of children by using the media of pop up books and Cindelaras fairy tales. The story of a fairy tale that began to be left by children who are currently switching on television. Pop up book is one of the efforts to introduce the fairy tales story that began to be abandoned. The research used in this design is a qualitative method that conducts interviews, observations, documentation, and literature to obtain the data used to support the illustration design concept from the Cindelaras fairy tale pop up book. After the data analysis process has been done, then found a design concept is "Joyful". Basically, "Joyful" has the meaning is fun. Joyful meaning is actually the concept of an interactive storybook that will be used as a means to provide moral education to the target audience about the story of the Cindelaras fairy tale. The result of this research is to produce a cindelaras pop up book that can cultivate the curiosity of the target audience to recognize or recall the folklore, especially Cindelaras.

Abstract

UD. Jaya Mandiri merupakan sebuah perusahaan importir dan pembuatan alat-alat memasak yang berada di daerah Jombang sejak tahun 2010 silam. Munculnya kompetitor membuat UD. Jaya Mandiri harus bekerja keras untuk meningkatkan kualitas layanan dan produknya yang dijual. Perusahaan juga harus berusaha semaksimal mungkin untuk membentuk sebuah identitas yang kuat pada desain kemasan. Dengan adanya identitas yang kuat tersebut, sebuah perusahaan akan menjadi lebih dikenal oleh konsumen. Tujuan dari pengembangan kemasan panci teflon UD Jaya Mandiri adalah untuk menghasilkan desain kemasan dan desain visual kemasan yang baru. Pengembangan dilaksanakan dengan metode penelitian kualitatif secara deskriptif dengan melakukan observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, studi literatur, dan studi kompetitor untuk mendapatkan data untuk pengembangan desain kemasan panci teflon. Analisis data dengan menggunakan beberapa tahapan yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi kesimpulan. Setelah menganalisa data, ditemukan sebuah kata kunci “Luxury” untuk pengembangan desain kemasan. Arti dari “Luxury” adalah mewah / kemewahan. Konsep “Luxury” dalam pengembangan desain kemasan ini bermakna sesuatu yang sangat memuaskan selera dan apapun yang menyenangkan indera. Hasil dari pengembangan desain kemasan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan citra dari suatu kemasan.

Abstract

Many people mistakenly think that HIV equals AIDS. This is because both of these are often used interchangeably to describe the disease. More specifically, HIV is a virus, while AIDS is a condition. Sexual promiscuity among teenagers already occupies presentation alarming. One cause of infections in adolescents is their lack of knowledge regarding HIV and AIDS. It is unfortunate if a teenager suffering from AIDS, it affects the level and quality of human resources in Indonesia. because the average person with AIDS always lead to death, it reduces the population. Moreover, adolescents are the young generation successor to the nation, it is very unfortunate if the younger generation which is expected to be the bearer of a better future for themselves and the State, should be wasted in vain simply because of a virus and the disease. Associated with the lifestyle of today's youth, in addition to educational programs and seminars on campus locations, it is time to strengthen the network of information on education against HIV with other media. One of them could be through a hobby teens, like social networks, or reading books. Talk about the books, the teenagers would know the terms of comics, either in book form or online version that is currently popular among teenagers. Media comics is a medium that has the properties of simple, clear, easy to understand and more personalized so that is informative and educative. Designing a comic book about the transmission of hiv through free sex in their late teens-based digital illustration to bring awareness to the danger of transmission of HIV, will talk about the HIV / AIDS virus in a teenager's life end with life in the sex and the threat of HIV transmission along with the type of the type of transmission. Digital techniques also began frequently used by comic artists around the world, but some were still using traditional means. Even so, the results are processed through a digital technique is no less great in the traditional way. There are techniques that can not be done by hand, but the feature is available when it is done with digital techniques. With the comic book about the transmission of hiv through free sex in their late teens-based digital illustration to bring awareness to the danger of transmission of HIV, hopefully will be able to give an understanding of HIV / AIDS both how it is transmitted and the media, as well as knowledge of how to prevent and be careful not happen again increased cases of HIV / AIDS victims in their teens.Keywords: Comic Books, Digital, HIV, AIDS, Youth, sex, Awareness transmission.

Abstract

This research is focused on the problem about the imbalanced of healthy lifestyle even though the availability of facilities such as fitness facilities is quite enough. This research tries to provide alternative solutions by utilizing the attractiveness offered in research using story photography. The methodology applied in this research is qualitative approach, and the data is gathered through  observation, interview, and literature review as a reference in creating a  tutorial book of proper body fitness.Creating this tutorial book is necessary since people nowadays are not aware of the need to do physical activities and exercising. Because of that, we often meet people at a young age and are still fairly productive already attacked by the non- infectious diseases which is caused by unhealthy lifestyle, such as improper diet and never doing exercise. Thus, this tutorial book is created in order to help people in how to do body exercise by using objects that they can find around them. The content of the book will be explained through the combination of texts and pictures by applying the technique of story photography.Based on the research that has been done so far, the keywords in this tutorial book is worthy which means precious and valuable. Abstract

The habit of teenagers to follow the new trend, make them more interested to buy somethings outside their needs buy by desire. This attitude fosters a consumption culture in the adolesecents, which not careful before buy somethings. Therefore, many sellers use it to commit fraud. Abstract

Fungsian failure problems or lack of contraception is still quite common among people who use family planning program. At least the report noted the failure of contraception in the period 2010-2013 amounted to 3846 report (BKKBN). Responding to the issue of the National Family Planning Coordinating Board (BKKBN) gives advice to follow family planning method Long Term (LTM). LTM with contraceptive tool, the contraceptive IUD and implants, it has a higher success rate in controlling the birth rate. In addition to a higher level of security, long-term contraception tool also has a longer lifetime of 5-10 years as user preferences, so that the contraceptive is also considered more efficient in cost pemakiannya. But people still do not know clearly about contraceptives and more use of short-term contraceptives that birth control pills and injectables which also has a lower level of security. Of the existing problems the author aims to design video public service announcements online-based contraceptives as a means of family planning information program.Kata Kunci: Solutions, Problem, and Answer
