Abstract

Pasuruan is one of the regencies in East Java province has many attractions but not yet terekpose perfectly. Pasuruan not only has a beautiful nature, but also a tourist destination worth to visit. The study was conducted using qualitative research is to conduct interviews, observation, documentation, and literature to obtain data to support the drafting. Data were analyzed using multiple stages of data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. the concept of "Original" presented to provide information to the target audience that Ranu Grati has a natural beauty and beautiful and natural panorama that can be enjoyed by families who want to travel to Ranu Grati. Results from logo creation and media campaign against Ranu Grati is an attempt Travel introduction lake Ranu Grati Pasuruan, East Java, to attract tourists to visit. Abstract

Blok Coklat Village is one of the natural-based tourist destinations that have facilities include; cocoa nurseries, cocoa plantations, cocoa bean dryers, chocolate processing plants, cooking classes, brown outlets, chocolate cafes, meeting rooms, fish therapies and outlets selling chocolate products.Blitar Coklat Village was developed by 48 (forty eight) farmer groups in Blitar district and incorporated as Cooperative named Gapoktan "Guyub Santosa". Blitar Kampung Coklat Plantation is currently growing and frequently visited by local, national and mancanagera tourists.Tourists visiting Kampung Coklat Blitar are given insights on the cultivation of cocoa plants ranging from cocoa plant breeding, ripe cocoa seeding, the drying process of cocoa beans to the processing of cocoa beans into delicious processed chocolate.Based on the results of data analysis, it was found that: first, the Blitar Coklat Village logo does not describe the visual identity as a company characteristic. Second, the logo of Kampung Coklat Blitar has similarities with other company logos. Third, the logo of Kampung Coklat does not describe the vision and mission of the Kampung Coklat company set by the board, which is to build an intelligent, independent, empowered and prosperous Indonesian community.Therefore it is necessary to redesign the logo of Kampung Coklat Blitar which describes the visual identity and vision - the mission of Kampung Coklat as the characteristics of the company, so that in the long term it can improve the image or image of the more developed and advanced Kampong Coklat company, for the development of natural education based tourism, attracting many local, national, even foreign tourists.Keywords: logo redesign, Chocolate Village Identity, Chocolate Village Vision, Corporate Image

Abstract

Batik is a legacy of Indonesia which have been recognized or established by UNESCO since October 2, 2009. Batik has a significance or meaning in each of its motives. The rapid lovers of batik making it grows each days, until each region competing to have a motif that contains the meaning according to the characteristics or in accordance with the characteristic of the area. Unfortunately Ngawi region still lacks of its batik’s motif. Even around the year 2009 until the year 2010, Ngawi begans to experience the crisis of batik’s enthusiasts. Lessening on batik also the interest to develop the regional characteristics. In fact, if viewed from the potential contained in Ngawi, it’s very supportive to improve or develop Ngawi’s batik. Therefore, this study aims to design the icon of Ngawi’s batik’s motif as a media campaign in support of the creative industries. The design of this motif is using the method of data collection with qualitative way, that is by interview, observation and study of the existing literature, which is very important to determine the concept of the design that will be designed. From the results of the data collection, the concept that emerged is “Modern”. “Modern” is the concept of a motif‘s design, designed in a contemporary style or the present time to develop an existing motif. The concept is used by most of the motif’s design, good design and the chosen color. There should be an effort to attract the attention of Ngawi’s residents, thus motif were designed and packaged in a modern way, different from another existing motif. One of them is to design a motif that contains the icons of Ngawi by combining colors characteristic of Ngawi, by hoping that this medium can be a medium that can redevelop Ngawi’s batik, and boost the spirit batik’s enthusiasts, for Ngawi’s batik and the potential that Ngawi has can be known by the public. Kata Kunci: Motif Batik, Tulis, ikon, kabupaten Ngawi, Media Promosi, Industri Kreatif, Modern.

Abstract

Guna Guna Snack is one of the local food producers in Surabaya. Guna Guna Snack become signature’s of Surabaya since early 2012. The problem is, at this time there are many competitors offer the same products as Guna Guna Snack. So, to attract attention and introduce products to consumers requires their visual communication design such as media promotion to communicate a message for introduce product of Guna Guna Snack and to differentiate Guna Guna Snack with the other signature’s of Surabaya. The research methodology that is used a qualitative methodology with data collection through observation, interviews, documentation, literature, existing studies, and competitors studies. The result of these research will be made a visual communication design such as media promotion in three categories: Above The Line (ATL), Below The Line (BTL), and Through The Line (TTL). With youthful concept and visual displays based on pop art, hopefully it can  be representing the face of Guna Guna Snack. Abstract

Kurangnya ketersediaan lahan menjadi permasalahan sosial yang lagi berkembang pada saat ini, kurangnya lahan untuk tempat tinggal serta tingginya permintaan tempat tinggal dan semakin berkembangnya populasi, menjadi penyebab utama terjadinya penyempitan lahan, sehingga otomatis ruang gerak menajdi terbatas. Oleh karena itu diharapkan terdapat pemecahan masalah yang dapat menangani permasalahan tersebut, terutama pada kamar tidur, dimana kamar tidur adalah ruangan yang sangat penting dalam suatu hunian, banyak aktifitas yang dilakukan dalam kamar tidur, oleh karena itu jika ruang gerak pada kamar tidur terganggu atau tidak bebas, maka hal tersebut menjadi kurang nyaman. Oleh karena itu terdapat penawaran pemecahan masalah pengembangan desain tempat tidur untukmemperluas ruang gerak dengan model tempat tidur dinding. Dimana tempat tidur dinding dianggap dapat memecahkan masalah tersebut, karena tempat tidur dinding dapat memanfaatkan sisa ruang pada suatu ruangan.

Abstract

Ludruk art heritage of the ancestors, is the wealth of the local art and culture should be kept and preserved from extinction, a traditional theater arts that originated in East Java. Ludruk arts as an icon of Surabaya city already does not have the allure in the eyes of the youth, the development of technology and the rapid influx of television media making artistry Ludruk increasingly abandoned. Therefore, it is required a medium that can provide information about the arts, in order to re-introduce ludruk to teenagers. The method used was to create a comic book that gives information about art history include Ludruk Ludruk in Surabaya, Ludruk figures influential in Surabaya, the structure of the staging as well as presenting the paper and supported Ludruk media promotions such as keychains, bookmarks, stickers, x-banners, and posters. Abstract

Abstract: Medicinal currently almost alienated and less attractive to teens because of the large reduction of land occurred and the emergence of a wide range of modern processed food. This happens due to lack of awareness to appreciate and preserve the original heritage of Indonesia. Medicinal include one legacy that must be preserved, therefore the purpose of this study was to design a photography book medicinal portrait with environmental engineering as a means of introduction to adolescents. Medicinal is part of the culture in Indonesia where the plant is located. In the midst of the massive land reduction and fast food that presents a wide range of selection, medicinal began to be forgotten among teenagers. From the analysis of these data, obtained keyword "essential" (something that is very important). The main concept can also be interpreted as the most prominent of the rival, through the selection of design minimalism medicinal expected to be more prominent than any other product or any other modern processed food is more popular today. Adolescent disinterest towards medicinal caused by the absence of the introduction to them. Medicinal also a cultural diversity depends on its type. Currently medicinal've lost identity or less popular among teenagers. Abstract

Permasalahan pada Tugas Akhir ini adalah bagaimana merancang guide book tari reog cemandi dengan teknik ilustrasi vektor sebagai upaya memperkenalkan salah satu budaya Sidoarjo. Informasi tentang keberadaan tarian Reog Cemandi masih terbilang jarang diketahui oleh masyarakat umum, hingga ketertarikan masyarakat untuk melestarikan maupun mempelajari tarian masih terbilang minim dan mengakibatkan keberadaan tarian Reog Cemandi terancam hilang. Dengan begitu solusi yang diberikan adalah sebuah pengaplikasian berupa media guide book dengan teknik penyampainya yaitu ilustrasi vektor dengan tujuan untuk menarik, menjaga, serta memandu tentang informasi seputar tarian tersebut mulai dari pola gerakan tari, musik, maupun syair.

Abstract

The purpose of designing a media campaign Dilon coffee & eatery This is to introduce to the public. The research was conducted using qualitative research method is to conduct interviews, observation, documentation, and literature to get the data used to support the drafting of a media campaign design. Data were analyzed using multiple stages, namely data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. From the data analysis found some keywords that refer to promotional media communication strategy that will be used to achieve the target audiance ditujuh. After analysis of the data, ditemukanlah concept or keyword designing a media campaign called "casual". Description casual concept is the simplicity that can be used by anyone. The concept of "casual" aims to show that the Dilon coffee & eatery is a café that has an appeal that is different from the others. Abstract

Museum is one of essential parts regarding tourism industrial especially for historical and cultural tourism. One of the museum that existed in East Java is MuseumNegeri Mpu Tantular that legitimately established at July 25th 1937. This museum owns numerous historical collection. Beside the existed collections, it has special considered collection coming from various zone. However, the collections’ great quantity frequently makes the visitor don’t pay much attention to the special considered collections. According to the aforementioned statement, visual communication through photography book which explains the distinctive collections is clearly needed. This kind of book is expected to clearly and completely inform to the visitor not only about the origin but also the background history from each distinctive collection which is owned by Museum Negeri Mpu Tantular. The method used by utilizing a qualitative research method that starts from collecting data through interviews, observation, documentation, study litelatur, study competitors, until the conclusion. Resulting design photography book with key massage "masterpiece" that has superior meanings or different from the others.
