Abstract

21st century learning requires teachers to be able to involve communication and collaboration skills as well as the use of information technology in learning that can be arranged in a framework in the form of TPACK. There are 7 components that need to be known in TPACK, namely Technological Knowledge, Pedagogical Knowledge, Content Knowledge, Technological Pedagogical Knowledge, Technological Content Knowledge, Pedagogical Content Knowledge, and Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge. The purpose of this article is to describe 1) the concept of TPACK, and 2) the implementation of TPACK in learning arabic. The results of this study were 1) TPACK is a combination of three essential elements in learning a technology (technological knowledge) that can be used to facilitate the delivery of teaching materials, pedagogical (pedagogical knowledge) that includes methods and learning model that will be applied, and content (content knowledge) which contains learning materials, where the three elements can be arranged in a learning design. 2) Implementation of TPACK in Learning arabic is to combine all components of TPACK in the learning that will be implemented.

Abstract

Manusia bukan semata-mata fisik-material, tetapi di balik itu, ia memiliki dimensi lain, yang dipandang sebagai hakikat manusia seperti dimensi rohaniah (spiritual). Oleh sebab itu, manusia tidak mungkin mampu menjalani hidup tanpa membekali kedua unsur yang ada pada dirinya. Zikir merupakan salah satu adab yang mendapat perhatian khusus dalam rangka mendekatkan diri dan mengingat Allah dalam hati, serta menyebut nama-Nya pada lisan berdasarkan perintah Allah dalam al-Qur'an. Do’a adalah suatu tugas agama yang sangat penting kedudukannya dan sangat mahal nilainya. Sehingga dakwah dalam rangka menyadarkan manusia untuk selalu mengingat Allah SWT dapat menggunakan pendekatan psikologis. Demikian pula, zikir dan do'a sebagai bagian dari materi dakwah, dalam penyampaiannya kepada mad'u dapat menggunakan pendekatan psikologis. Agama Islam meyakini bahwa do’a dan dzikir mempunyai peranan sangat penting dan dibutuhkan manusia, sebagai seorang muslim meyakini bahwa sumber segala kekuatan dan kekuasaan itu ada pada Allah SWT.

Abstract

This study aims to develop Android-based learning media for Arabic language learning, specifically on the topic of Isim Dhomir. The media was developed using the Hannafin and Peck model, consisting of three stages: needs analysis, design, and development. The study was conducted at MTs Muhammadiyah Sukarame, involving 8th-grade students as participants. Validation by experts indicated that the media is highly feasible, with an average score of 92%. Teachers and students provided very positive responses, with averages of 87% for students and 89% for teachers. The use of this media improved student learning outcomes, as evidenced by the average pre-test score of 68, which increased to 85 in the post-test, achieving a gain percentage of 53%. This study demonstrates that Android-based media effectively enhance student motivation and understanding in Arabic language learning.

Abstract

Breast milk (ASI) not only serves as a source of nutrition for infants but also functions as a means of building emotional bonds and instilling moral values from an early age. In the Islamic perspective, breastfeeding receives special attention as reflected in the sources of Sharia and socio-religious practices. This article aims to analyze the ethics of motherhood in Islam concerning the fulfillment of children’s rights to breast milk and its implications for Islamic character education. The research method employs library research and normative analysis of religious literature, health policies, and recent empirical studies. The findings indicate that Islamic traditions and laws encourage the fulfillment of children's rights to receive exclusive and continued breastfeeding; however, its implementation is often influenced by social, cultural, and healthcare system factors. The concept of maternal ethics in Islam, which emphasizes compassion, responsibility, and exemplary behavior, can be integrated into character education curricula to promote broader breastfeeding practices. Recommendations include strengthening family education based on Islamic values, implementing breastfeeding-friendly school policies, and developing integrated counseling programs involving religious leaders and health practitioners.

Abstract

This study aims to develop and analyze the effectiveness of locally-based animated videos as an innovative medium for improving Arabic speaking skills (mahārah al-kalām) at the secondary school level. The background of this research is the low speaking ability of students due to the use of conventional and less contextual learning media. The integration of local cultural elements is expected to provide a more meaningful learning experience by linking Arabic to the social and cultural context of students. The research method used was a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) of various national and international studies published in the period 2019–2025 through the Scopus, ERIC, DOAJ, and Garuda databases. The analysis was conducted using a content analysis approach to examine the effectiveness of animated videos, the forms of local cultural integration, and their influence on student motivation and communication skills. The results of the study show that locally-based animated videos are effective in improving students' fluency, accuracy, and confidence in speaking Arabic. Expert validation shows the suitability of content, appearance, and language, while student responses show an increase in interest and interaction. The integration of local culture also strengthens character and cultural appreciation. Thus, this media is effective and contextual in Arabic language learning in the digital age.

Abstract

The Arabic letter “Lām (ل)” is considered one of the most significant and versatile particles in Arabic grammar due to its wide range of syntactic and semantic functions. Its meanings vary among ownership, specification, causation, emphasis, and oath, making it one of the most complex yet richest particles in the Arabic linguistic system. This study aims to identify the types, functions, and meanings of Lām to facilitate understanding among learners and teachers of Arabic and to promote accurate usage in interpreting Qur’anic, prophetic, and rhetorical texts.The research adopts a library-based qualitative method, collecting data from classical grammatical references such as Mughnī al-Labīb by Ibn Hishām, al-Jin al-Dānī by al-Murādī, and modern linguistic works addressing the semantics of particles. The findings show that Lām is divided into operative (ʿāmilah) types—such as the genitive Lām, Lām of command, and Lām of purpose—and non-operative (ghayr ʿāmilah) types—such as Lām of initiation, Lām al-muzahlaqah, Lām al-fāriqah, and others. Its function shifts according to sentence structure and context, expressing possession, causation, emphasis, or oath. This research highlights the precision and richness of Arabic syntax and underscores Lām as a key element in understanding grammatical relationships and subtle meanings within Arabic discourse.

Abstract

This article reconstructs the concept and practice of fulfillment of children's rights is a fundamental issue in social and educational development, encompassing not only legal and social aspects but also spiritual dimensions. From the perspective of Islamic Sharia, children are considered divine trusts endowed with inherent rights to life, growth, education, and protection from all forms of violence and injustice. However, the practical implementation of these rights within contemporary Islamic educational institutions still faces structural and cultural challenges. This study critically analyzes the reconstruction of children’s rights within Islamic law and their implementation in modern Islamic education. Using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method, the study synthesizes findings from 16 academic articles published between 2015 and 2025 in databases such as SINTA, DOAJ, and Google Scholar. The results indicate that (1) Islamic principles of child protection are rooted in the objectives of Sharia (maq??id al-syar?‘ah), particularly ?if? al-nafs, ?if? al-‘aql, and ?if? al-nasl; (2) a significant gap persists between normative Islamic values and actual implementation in educational institutions; and (3) reconstructing child rights fulfillment requires integrating values of compassion (rahmah) and maq??id-based frameworks into curricula, teacher training, and institutional policies. This study underscores the urgency of developing a child-friendly, justice-oriented Islamic education system grounded in holistic protection of children’s rights. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini merekonstruksi konsep dan praktik pemenuhan hak-hak anak merupakan isu fundamental dalam pembangunan sosial dan pendidikan yang tidak hanya berdimensi hukum dan sosial, tetapi juga spiritual. Dalam perspektif syariat Islam, anak dipandang sebagai amanah Allah yang memiliki hak-hak dasar untuk hidup, tumbuh, memperoleh pendidikan, serta dilindungi dari segala bentuk kekerasan dan ketidakadilan. Namun, praktik pemenuhan hak anak dalam lembaga pendidikan Islam kontemporer masih menghadapi beragam tantangan, baik secara struktural maupun kultural. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis secara kritis rekonstruksi pemenuhan hak-hak anak dalam syariat Islam serta implementasinya dalam pendidikan Islam masa kini. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Systematic Literature Review (SLR) dengan menganalisis 16 artikel ilmiah yang terbit antara tahun 2015–2025 dari basis data SINTA, DOAJ, dan Google Scholar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) prinsip perlindungan anak dalam Islam berakar pada maq??id al-syar?‘ah, khususnya dalam aspek ?if? al-nafs, ?if? al-‘aql, dan ?if? al-nasl; (2) terdapat kesenjangan antara nilai-nilai normatif syariat dan realitas implementasi di lembaga pendidikan Islam; serta (3) rekonstruksi pemenuhan hak anak dapat dilakukan melalui integrasi nilai rahmah dan maq??id al-syar?‘ah dalam kurikulum, pelatihan guru, serta kebijakan kelembagaan. Penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya paradigma pendidikan Islam yang ramah anak, berkeadilan, dan berorientasi pada perlindungan hak anak secara holistik.

Abstract

This study explores tahnik and aqiqah as expressions of fulfilling children's rights within the framework of Islamic jurisprudence (fiqh) and Islamic education. Both are classified as sunnah muakkadah practices that hold not only ritual significance but also deep spiritual, social, and pedagogical values. The aim is to analyze how these practices function as early educational media to instill monotheism, compassion, and moral responsibility from birth. This research employs a library-based approach with thematic analysis of classical and contemporary sources. Findings indicate that tahnik serves as the child’s first spiritual education, introducing faith and parental affection, while aqiqah embodies gratitude, social care, and character formation. The integration of fiqh and tarbiyah Islamiyah highlights that fulfilling children’s rights in Islam begins at birth through spiritually and educationally meaningful practices. The study underscores the importance of revitalizing the meaning of tahnik and aqiqah beyond tradition, as integral instruments for nurturing morality and spirituality in Muslim families.
