Abstract

Peningkatan risiko penderita diabetes di Kelurahan Pajang sedang meningkat, terdapat 6 dari 29 peserta yang memiliki tingkat gula darah yang tinggi. Sehingga perlu dilakukan penyuluhan kesehatan dan pengenalan tanaman stevia sebagai pemanis alami untuk mengatasi hal tersebut. Meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat mengenai risiko yang terkait dengan gula dan manfaat stevia dalam pengaturan gula darah adalah tujuan dari upaya ini. Pendekatan Participatory Rural Appraisal digunakan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman peserta mengenai stevia dan cara penggunaannya mengalami peningkatan. Sebelum kegiatan penyuluhan, pengetahuan peserta mengenai stevia sangat rendah, namun setelah kegiatan penyuluhan, terjadi peningkatan yang signifikan. Kegiatan ini efektif dalam mengedukasi masyarakat tentang pentingnya mengganti gula tebu dengan stevia untuk mencegah diabetes dan meningkatkan kesehatan. Penilaian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun penyuluhan ini sudah efektif, namun masih memerlukan perbaikan.

Abstract

PT EQY is a textile company, especially yarn spinning. The activities of the staffing/packing department at PT EQY are packing, lifting, and moving cardboard boxes. This activity still relies on human power or manual material handling. This work is carried out repeatedly and continuously, causing complaints of pain in several parts of the body during work. This raises the risk of work postures such as Musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs). This research aims to produce a design for work aids that can reduce the risk of Musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) using the Ovako Work Analysis System (OWAS) method. Based on the problem, work posture analysis was carried out using the OWAS method to find out whether the work posture of staffing/packing employees falls into the risky posture category or not. Based on the results of the Ovako Work Analysis System (OWAS) analysis research, it shows that the posture of staffing/packing workers is included in the high risk category and needs immediate improvement. This improvement involves designing work facilities, namely a handlift and packing table with an ergonomics approach, resulting in a handlift design with a height of 200 cm (2000 mm) and a packing table with a width of 200 cm (2000 mm) and a packing table with a length of 60 cm (600mm), width 60 cm(600mm), and height 104 cm(1040mm).

Abstract

The number of electric vehicles in Indonesia is currently increasing. One of the problems that hinder the development of electric vehicles is the long charging time. Various ways have been done to overcome the problem of long charging times, including swapping batteries, but this is still not applicable to all types of electric vehicles in Indonesia. Electric vehicle charging facilities in Indonesia are still limited, so there is a need for a good business strategy to minimize queues and uncertainty in waiting times by customers. This study discusses the business schemes of several ways of charging electric vehicles in Indonesia and examines the advantages and disadvantages of each business scheme using SWOT analysis. The strategy in the SWOT analysis focuses on increasing promotion and education to the public, increasing services and the number of charging station locations, setting competitive prices, and expanding partnerships.

Abstract

Internet merupakan hal yang tidak dapat dipisahkan dari kehidupan manusia saat ini. Aktivitas manusia saat ini sebagian besar membutuhkan internet. Internet dapat memberikan dampak positif seperti kemudahan dan kepraktisan dalam menjalani segala aktivitas, disisi lain internet juga memberikan dampak negatif dan berpotensi menimbulkan tindak kejahatan atau yang dikenal dengan phising. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengenalan dan kesadaran akan pentingnya menjaga data pribadi untuk menghindari kejahatan phising. Edukasi dilakukan di Pendopo Kelurahan Pajang Kota Surakarta dan dihadiri oleh 30 peserta dari berbagai kalangan. Metode edukasi dilakukan dengan presentasi dan dilanjutkan dengan diskusi dan tanya jawab terkait phising. Hasil kegiatan tersebut diharapkan dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kesadaran pengguna internet untuk menjaga data diri dan informasi penting untuk memimalisir terjadinya kejahatan phising.

Abstract

Sumber daya utama dari sebuah organisasi adalah manusia. Dalam sebuah perusahaan, kinerja karyawan sangat berpengaruh kepada kesuksesan perusahaan. Oleh karena itu, peningkatan dan pemantauan kinerja karyawan menjadi sangat penting dilakukan. Tujuan penelitian adalah membuat Aplikasi Sistem Pendukung Keputusan (SPK) Penentuan Kinerja Karyawan Terbaik di Pabrik Sarung Goyor cap Botol Terbang Dengan Metode TOPSIS (Technique For Order Preference By Similarity To Ideal Solution. Metode Disini pihak manajemen hanya menilai dengan satu kriteria saja karena akan sulit menilai dengan beberapa kriteria apabila penilaian masih dilakukan secara manual. Oleh karena itu maka perlu dibangun sebuah sistem pendukung keputusan yang memungkinkan pemilihan karyawan terbaik berdasarkan beberapa kriteria dengan menggunakan metode TOPSIS (Technique For Order Preference By Similarity To Ideal Solution) yang diharapkan dapat membantu pengambilan keputusan untuk menentukan karyawan terbaik.

Abstract

Halal tourism merupakan potensi industri yang sedang berkembang di dunia. Adanya antusiasme wisatawan yang meningkat hampir 100% pada tahun 2023 menjadikan Kota Surakarta menjadi destinasi favorit. Pilot project wisata kuliner halal di Kota Surakarta menjadi awal untuk mendorong destinasi wisata halal, sehingga perlu ada identifikasi potensi destinasi halal di Kota Surakarta untuk mendukung halal tourism. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui potensi halal tourism yang ada di Kota Surakarta. Penelitian dilakukan dengan observasi lapangan dan pendekatan deskripsi-kualitatif. dapat disimpulkan Kota Surakarta memiliki potensi untuk mengembangkan halal tourism. Dari perspektif supply chain management ketersediaan objek wisata, penginapan, resto/rumah makan dan toko oleh-oleh dan souvenir telah dapat dikategorikan sebagai ramah muslim. Bagi para pemangku kebijakan dapat mengambil peluang dari dampak positif yang ditimbulkan, serta perlu untuk melakukan tindakan preventif untuk mengakomodir dampak negatif yang mungkin akan terjadi akibat dari kegiatan wisatawan.

Abstract

The Indonesian cement industry faces challenges in improving operational efficiency amid increasing competition. One critical factor in cement production is the operational stability of the Raw Mill, which depends on the performance of the Hydraulic Pump Unit. This study aims to optimize control communication in the Hydraulic Pump Unit to reduce downtime in the Raw Mill area of PT. Semen Gresik. Using the Seven Tools method, the study identified communication disruptions as the primary cause of downtime. Key issues include unreliable remote I/O PLCs, high operating temperatures, excessive loops, poor grounding, and procedural errors. To address these problems, the study proposes replacing remote I/O PLCs, adding Junction Boxes, relocating PLCs to a control panel room, redesigning the network topology, switching from Ethernet to Profibus, improving grounding, conducting training, and updating maintenance standards. The implementation of these solutions successfully reduced Raw Mill downtime, improved production efficiency, and enhanced control system reliability by creating new operational standards. These findings highlight the importance of effective control communication in maintaining stable and efficient cement production operations.

Abstract

Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) is a crucial aspect of the textile industry to ensure worker protection and maintain smooth production processes. This study aims to identify and analyze potential occupational accident risks in the sizing machine process. The methods used in this research are Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and Risk Assessment to evaluate workplace hazards that may disrupt operations. The results indicate several major risks in the sizing process, including mechanical hazards due to direct contact with machines, ergonomic hazards caused by improper working postures, and chemical hazards from exposure to cotton dust and sizing solution vapors. The main risk factors include human aspects, the work environment, and machinery. The recommended improvements in this study include enhancing work supervision and control, providing safety training for workers, optimizing workplace ergonomics, and conducting regular machine maintenance to reduce accident risks. The proper implementation of safety strategies is expected to improve production efficiency and create a safer and more conducive work environment.

Abstract

In response to growing importance of household waste management issue, this article deals with the positioning of household waste transfer points from a government-organized waste perspective. By taking Surakarta, a municipality in Central Java, Indonesia as an example, the problem in the municipality is formulated as an MILP, is approached with a capacity-weighted set covering method, and finally is solved by using software LINGO 11. The article concludes that the transfer point alternatives of Sondakan Kuburan, Norowangsan, SPSA, Pajang Rel, Bonoloyo and Kedung Tungkul should be selected in order to be able to serve all the household waste producers for the maximum household waste generated. On the contrary, the selection of Sondakan Kuburan, Bonoloyo and Kedung Tungkul only should be able to provide service to all of the household waste produced for the scenario of minimum amount of household waste.

Abstract

Supplier selection is a strategic element in supply chain management to ensure operational efficiency and business sustainability. This study aims to determine the best urea supplier for PT DSSA 1, a textile company specializing in dyeing and finishing processes, using the Analytic Network Process (ANP) method. This method was chosen for its ability to systematically analyze interdependencies among criteria, leading to more accurate and comprehensive decision-making. Data were collected through direct observation, in-depth interviews with internal company sources, and relevant literature reviews. The analysis was based on five main criteria: quality, price, service, delivery, and flexibility, each further broken down into sub-criteria. The results indicate that quality is the most critical criterion, with the highest weight of 23.19%, followed by price, service, and delivery, each with relatively balanced weights of 19.93%. Flexibility, although ranked last with a weight of 17.01%, remains relevant, especially for urgent orders. Based on the analysis, Supplier A was identified as the best choice with the highest overall weight, followed by Supplier B and Supplier C. This study provides practical contributions by offering strategic recommendations for PT DSSA 1 in selecting suppliers that support production efficiency and business sustainability. The study is limited in the scope of criteria and the number of suppliers analyzed. Future research is recommended to explore more variables, expand the sample size, and consider the implementation of digital technologies to optimize the supply chain.
