Abstract

Transportasi merupakan salah satu objek vital dalam kegiatan perekonomian dan kegiatan masyarakat, yang memudahkan pergerakan barang dan orang sehingga meningkatkan perekonomian ( Hansher ., 2019). Pandemi COVID-19 saat ini telah menyebar ke seluruh dunia dan menginfeksi populasi yang sangat besar ( Sohrabi et al., 2020). Banyak aktivitas produksi terhenti karena terbatasnya akses di seluruh dunia, yang menyebabkan gangguan rantai pasokan (SCD) yang parah di seluruh sektor manufaktur. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perspektif ketiga pemangku kepentingan evaluator dalam meningkatkan kualitas layanan distribusi produk di masa pandemi COVID-19. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan terpadu model Fuzzy AHP–Kendall yang memadukan tuntutan pengambil keputusan untuk menghadirkan sistem distribusi lokal yang berkelanjutan dan terencana. Kesimpulan penelitian ini membuktikan adanya perbedaan pendapat antar pemangku kepentingan dalam meningkatkan pelayanan distribusi produk pada masa pandemi covid 19. Penekanan pada aplikasi Fuzzy-AHP sendiri menunjukkan preferensi layanan yang cukup besar.

Abstract

Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) serve as legal protection for the creative and innovative rights held by Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). However, awareness and understanding of the importance of IPR registration remain low among MSMEs, who perceive the process as complex and challenging. The aim of this activity is to provide better understanding to MSMEs in Batam regarding the importance of IPR in safeguarding their products and enhancing their skills in using IPR registration applications provided by the Ministry of Law and Human Rights. The community engagement approach is utilized in this research. Socialization on the importance of IPR for MSMEs is conducted, along with direct assistance in the IPR registration process, particularly for product trademarks, through applications provided by the Directorate General of Intellectual Property. This activity demonstrates an improvement in understanding and skills among MSMEs in Batam regarding IPR. Training participants experience enhanced comprehension of IPR registration mechanisms and are able to confidently use relevant applications. Through community engagement, it can be concluded that socialization and direct assistance in IPR registration can help raise awareness and skills among MSMEs in protecting their intellectual property rights. These measures are crucial to ensure adequate protection of innovation and creativity at the MSME level, which in turn can support economic growth and sustainable development.

Abstract

The community service activities aim to enhance the capacity of UMKM (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) in RT01 RW13 Batu Besar Batam- Kepri, by leveraging information technology to support economic and business activities. This program includes a series of training sessions focused on the use of information technology, social media, e-commerce platforms, and an understanding of lean manufacturing principles. The methods used involve initial socialization to identify the needs and potential of SMEs, group-based training, and simulations. As a result of this activity, SMEs can improve their production processes, inventory management, and product marketing more effectively. Lean manufacturing principles help SMEs to identify and reduce waste in the production process, thereby improving productivity and product quality. Additionally, there is increased participation in the digital economy, such as selling local products through e-commerce platforms. The program also positively impacts the education sector. Overall, these dedication activities have improved digital literacy and empowered the public, especially SMEs actors, to face the challenges of the digital age.

Abstract

Enhancing business process performance is critical for maintaining organizational competitiveness. Delays in processes often arise from the complexity of activities supporting business operations. Procurement is a key area within this context, as it plays a vital role in fulfilling operational requirements. This study focuses on analyzing the existing procurement process and evaluating the potential benefits of adopting an e-procurement system to boost efficiency. Using the Business Process Reengineering (BPR) approach, this research assesses current workflows and proposes optimized alternatives. The study outcomes include the design of a new procurement process aligned with BPR principles, aiming to minimize costs, shorten cycle times, enhance automation, and improve information accessibility and inventory management. Implementing these changes is anticipated to enhance procurement performance and operational efficiency.

Abstract

This research data was conducted to determine the quality of teaching and learning process services currently available and to improve the quality of Teaching and Learning Process services at Ibnu Sina University by distributing questionnaires to Ibnu Sina University students totaling 267 respondents. The research variables created in the questionnaire refer to 5 dimensions of service, namely Tangible, Reliability, Responsiveness, Assurance, Emphaty. From the measurement results using the Servqual method, from all dimensions of service quality, students still feel dissatisfied because the gap value is still negative (-) and the negative value is the highest among the 5 The service quality dimension is the tangible dimension with the highest gap value of -0.98, followed by the responsiveness dimension with a value of -0.81. From the results of the quadrants produced using the Cartesian diagram, quadrant 1 is the main priority in improving service quality.

Abstract

Pendidikan vokasi di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) memiliki peran penting dalam mencetak tenaga kerja yang kompeten sesuai dengan kebutuhan industri. Namun, SMK sering kali menghadapi berbagai tantangan, seperti keterbatasan fasilitas dan kurangnya kompetensi guru dalam pengajaran praktik. Di SMK Hang Tuah Batam, jurusan Teknik Tenaga Listrik mengalami kendala berupa kurangnya pemahaman guru tentang sistem pendingin udara (air conditioner/AC) dan ketiadaan media pembelajaran yang memadai. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan ini, dilakukan penelitian yang berfokus pada pembuatan Trainer Simulator AC sebagai alat bantu belajar. Penelitian ini melibatkan 9 guru dengan pelatihan yang mencakup teori, praktik perakitan Trainer Simulator AC, dan evaluasi. Pelatihan yang dilaksanakan selama 10 hari ini menghasilkan peningkatan signifikan pada kompetensi peserta, khususnya dalam memahami prinsip kerja AC, troubleshooting, dan perakitan sistem pendingin. Selain itu, Trainer Simulator AC yang dirancang digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran interaktif bagi siswa. Evaluasi menunjukkan adanya peningkatan rata-rata nilai peserta sebesar 10 poin serta tingkat kepuasan yang tinggi terhadap pelatihan. Penerapan Trainer Simulator AC terbukti mampu meningkatkan kompetensi guru dan mendukung pembelajaran berbasis proyek yang relevan dengan kebutuhan industri.

Abstract

Abstrak Pandemi Covid-19 merupakan salah satu faktor perlambatan pertumbuhan ekonomi pada triwulan I-2020. Pertumbuhan perekonomian Indonesia pada triwulan I-2020 sebesar 2,97% mengalami perlambatan dari triwulan I-2019 sebesar 5,07%. Lambatnya pertumbuhan ekonomi berpengaruh besar terhadap UKM di Indonesia. Penurunan penjualan dipengaruhi perubahan perilaku konsumen dengan membatasi interaksi fisik dan bertahan dirumah. Perubahan perilaku konsumen saat ini, memberikan peluang besar bagi UKM untuk memasarkan produk lebih luas dan lebih murah, tetapi pemilihan sosial media yang tepat menjadi satu hal yang harus dilakukan karena ratusan social media tersebar di dunia maya. Hambatan lain yang terjadi adalah berupa belum cukupnya pengetahuan mengenai strategi pemasaran produk, pembuatan produk masih dilakukan manual, dan teknik foto produk yang seadanya, belum termanfaatkannya penggunaan digital marketing dalam pemasaran berbasis internet menjadikan UKM tidak bisa menangkap peluang pemasaran ini. Metode yang digunakan adalah pemberdayaan dan pelatihan branding product, dan digital marketing. Pemberdayaan dan pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk melatih keterampilan menggunakan branding product, digital marketing, dan memenuhi kapasitas permintaan melalui peningkatan kapasitas produk. Luaran yang dihasilkan kemampuan UKM dalam memanfatkan digital marketing, dan branding product. Kata Kunci: Branding, Digital Marketing, Pembinaan, UMKM Abstract The Covid-19 pandemic was one of the factors that slowed economic growth in the first quarter of 2020. Indonesia's economic growth in the first quarter of 2020 was 2.97%, experiencing a slowdown from the first quarter of 2019 of 5.07%. Slow economic growth has had a major impact on SMEs in Indonesia. Decreasing sales changes in consumer behavior by controlling interaction and behavior at home. Changes in consumer behavior nowadays provide great opportunities for SMEs to market wider and cheaper products, but choosing the right social media is one thing that must be done because hundreds of social media are well-known in cyberspace. Another obstacle that occurs is in the form of insufficient knowledge of product marketing strategies, product manufacturing is still done manually, and improper product photo techniques, the use of digital marketing in internet-based marketing has not made SMEs unable to capture this marketing opportunity. The methods used are product branding empowerment and training, and digital marketing. This empowerment and training aims to train skills in using products, digital marketing, and fulfilling capacity demand through increasing product capacity. Abstract

PT.Team Metal Indonesian (TMI) was established in 1997 in the field of manufacturing modular mechanical, electrical, and sub assys through various processes using machines to keep the survive and develop by innovating to improve the quality and quantity of production. Most of the production line used by this company uses machines with human labor as its operator. One of them is the bottom product, the open array case that continues to increase the number of production. But this process has several principal problems, namely, the low output and the high level of reject caused during the machining process. With the Quality Function Deployment method that is oriented to the Matrix House of Quality as a basis for obtaining information about consumer needs that are the basis of the design and development of the tool. So the purpose of this study was to design a fixture in the form of a fixture to help the process of creating material when the machining process was carried out. By applying the Quality Function deployment method in the design process, the results obtained are Portable Pokayoke / Mistake Proofing fixture with the results of an increase in output by 32% with better product quality

Abstract

All manufacturing processes must begin with a design in the manufacture of products, including the thermoforming process. The thermoforming process has several stages in product design, namely: thermoforming product design and mold design. The mold is an illustration of the shape of the thermoforming product that will be made. The Vacuum Forming Department at PT SM Engineering received a request from customers to manufacture plastic packaging trays for cable sub-assembly products with part number NA100715R2-1. Based on this, the researcher intends to conduct research on product design and plastic packaging tray molds using the Design for Manufacture and Assemby (DFMA) method. Based on the DFMA analysis of the initial design, the components that make up the vacuum forming mold are 108 components with a weight of 23.95 kg, a total machining time of 22.16 hours and a total cost of Rp20,945,984. From the results of the initial design evaluation, a new design of vacuum forming molds was obtained. The new design designed was analyzed using DFMA and the results obtained that the components that make up the vacuum forming mold are 94 components with a weight of 23.05 kg, a total machining time of 18.91 hours and a total cost of Rp18.962.891. From the initial design and the newly designed vacuum forming design, after being compared based on the processing parameters, the best new design was selected.
