Abstract

The emergence of ICT in teaching and learning has contributed to improving the quality of education, because teaching and learning is ultimately an active and interesting process linked to real-world situations. ICT can be integrated into all subjects outside of physical education, including language, comprehension, math, science, and environmental science. This research examines trends and identifies publications concerning ICT in Mathematics Learning by analyzing the most prolific document sources, rankings of institutions or universities, prominent journals and articles, as well as keyword usage. Utilizing data from the Dimensions database, a total of 390 documents were gathered through the Publish or Perish (PoP) application, consolidated into a single RIS file, and analyzed using the VOSviewer application to generate network and overlay visualizations.The findings reveal an increasing trend in publications on ICT in Mathematics Learning over the past five years, with Indonesia leading in the number of documents (66), "Guangxi Normal University" as the top institution, "Journal of Physics: Conference Series" as the most prominent journal, and the article by Lo et al. (2018) as a key reference. The keyword "ICT" is not commonly associated with other variables such as case studies or stems, presenting a gap that offers opportunities for future research in this area.Penggunaan Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (TIK) dalam pembelajaran telah berperan dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan, menjadikan proses pembelajaran lebih aktif, menarik, dan relevan dengan situasi dunia nyata. TIK dapat diintegrasikan ke dalam berbagai mata pelajaran, seperti bahasa, pemahaman, matematika, sains, dan ilmu lingkungan, kecuali pendidikan jasmani. Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi tren dan mengidentifikasi publikasi terkait TIK dalam Pembelajaran Matematika melalui analisis jumlah dokumen terbanyak, peringkat institusi atau universitas, jurnal, dokumen, serta penggunaan kata kunci berdasarkan data dari basis data Dimensions. Dengan menggunakan analisis bibliometrik, 390 dokumen dikumpulkan melalui aplikasi Publish or Perish (PoP), dikompilasi ke dalam satu file RIS, dan dianalisis menggunakan aplikasi VOSviewer untuk menghasilkan visualisasi jaringan dan hamparan. Temuan menunjukkan adanya tren peningkatan publikasi tentang TIK dalam Pembelajaran Matematika selama lima tahun terakhir, dengan Indonesia memimpin dalam jumlah dokumen (66), “Guangxi Normal University” sebagai institusi teratas, “Journal of Physics: Conference Series” sebagai jurnal yang paling menonjol, dan artikel oleh Lo dkk. (2018) sebagai referensi utama. Kata kunci “TIK” tidak umum dikaitkan dengan variabel lain seperti studi kasus atau batang tubuh, menghadirkan celah yang menawarkan peluang untuk penelitian di masa depan di bidang ini.

Abstract

The aim of the research  to know the level of student  problem solving skill of  Senior high school students on their  mathematical problem and activity concentration. The object of the research was conducted  at one of Senior high school of Cimahi. the Subject  of the research  is all  twelve grades of Senior high School Students of Science Program in Cimahi. The research used descriptive qualitative research to describe the student analysis error on doing the question of problem solving ability. The data of the research was found using diagnostic of series and rows and also student questionnaire. Data collecting technique used Miles and Huberman concept  that are reduction data, reporting data and draw the conclusion. The result of the research are: (1) the level of the ability to solve the problem is still low (2) the common student error did not understand the questions and have no ability to communicate in mathematical form. (3) the student’s activity is rated strong. Some solutions can be given to increase student problem solving ability through practice or question drill structured  and gived the variety questions as material practice.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis community service aims to improve the multiplication operation ability of the students of SD Melong Mandiri 5 on mathematics material through education of nafier bone and geoboard mathematics learning media. The subjects of this service activity are 3rd grade students of SD Melong Mandiri 5 Cimahi. The stages of service activities include the observation stage, the planning and preparation stage, the implementation stage and the evaluation stage. The observation phase focuses on finding the partner's priority problems. The planning stage consists of determining the schedule of service, licensing, training subject classes, providing teaching aids and discussing appropriate solutions with partners. The implementation phase includes education and training of mathematics teaching aids to improve multiplication operation skills and recognition of flat shapes. The evaluation stage is carried out by analyzing the results of student work and the student presentation process. The method applied is the provision of material regarding multiplication and geometry as well as drill and practice. The place of implementation is at SD Melong Mandiri 5, Cimahi City. The number of participants is 37 3rd grade elementary school students. The results of this service activity consist of: (1) the use of the nafier bone for multiplication makes it easier for students to learn; (2) students understand and recognize various kinds of flat shapes; (3) improve students' understanding abilities to the multiplication operation.Keywords: Geobord, Nafier Bone ,Props ABSTRAKPengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan operasi perkalian  siswa SD Melong mandiri 5 pada materi matematika melalui edukasi media pembelajaran matematika tulang nafier dan geoboard. Subjek  kegiatan pengabdian ini yaitu  siswa kelas 3 SD Melong mandiri 5  Cimahi. Tahapan kegiatan pengabdian meliputi tahap observasi, tahap perencanaan dan persiapan, tahap pelaksanaan dan tahap evaluasi. Tahap observasi berfokus pada mencari masalah prioritas pihak mitra. Tahap perencanaan terdiri dari kegiatan penentuan jadwal pengabdian, perizinan, kelas subjek pelatihan, penyedian alat peraga dan diskusi solusi yang sesuai dengan mitra. Tahap pelaksanaan meliputi edukasi dan pelatihan alat peraga matematika untuk meningkatkan kemampuan operasi perkalian dan pengenalan bentuk bangun datar. Tahapan evaluasi dilakukan dengan cara menganalisis hasil pekerjaan siswa dan proses presentasi siswa. Metode yang diterapkan adalah pemberian materi berkenaan perkalian dan geometri serta drill dan  praktek. Tempat pelaksanaan di SD Melong Mandiri 5 Kota Cimahi. Jumlah peserta adalah 37 siswa kelas 3 SD.. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian ini terdiri dari: (1) penggunaan tulang nafier untuk perkalian memudahkan siswa belajar;(2) siswa memahami dan mengenal macam-macam bangun datar;(3) meningkatkan kemampuan pemahamana siswa terhadap operasi perkalian.Kata Kunci: Alat Peraga, Geobord, Tulang Nafier.

Abstract

This research aimed to determine how the number pattern concept's computational thinking characteristic picture was reviewed from the Kolb model's learning style. The research method used in this study is qualitative descriptive. The research was conducted at one of the state's small schools in Bandung. The research subjects consisted of 29 students in the ninth grade. One of the 29 study issues is selected with assimilator learning styles. The data-gathering techniques used are questionnaire tests, test instruments, and interviews. Angket is used to group subjects into four groups of learning style types. The test instrument was used to describe the computational thinking characteristics of high school students on the concept of number patterns, and the interview was used to strengthen the test summary results of the subject. The results of this study show that the characteristics of computational thinking that each type of learning style dominates are different. Computational thinking students with an assimilator learning style in solving mathematical problems of number patterns can solve issues by involving decomposition, pattern identification, abstraction and generalization, and algorithms. They can generalize patterns using accurate, thorough, complete, and systematic problem-solving strategies.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematik dan kemandirian belajar siswa SMP melalui pendekatan Realistic Mathematics Education. Metode penelitian yang digunakan eksperimen, dimana subjek dalam populasi ini dipilih secara acak yaitu acak kelas. Didalam penelitian ini, peneliti memberikan perlakuan kepada subjek peneliti untuk selanjutnya ingin diketahui pengaruh perlakuan tersebut. Perlakuan tersebut adalah pendekatan Realistic Mathematics Education pada kelas eksperimen dan pembelajaran konvensional pada kelas kontrol. Pembelajaran matematika realistic lebih efektif dalam peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematik dan kemandirian siswa SMP melalui pendekatan Realistic Mathematics Education lebih baik daripada pmbelajaran biasa. Besarnya peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematik siswa yang diajar pembelajaran matematika realistic adalah 0,72dan pembelajaran konvensional adalah 0,45. Besarnya peningkatan kemandirian belajar matematik siswa yang diajar pembelajaran matematika realistic adalah 94,86 dan pembelajaran konvensional adalah 91,40.Kata Kunci: RME, Kemampuan Komunikasi Matematik, Kemandirian Belajar

Abstract

Computational thinking (CT) is a fundamental skill that needs to be developed by prospective mathematics teachers to improve problem-solving and logical reasoning. Integrating programming into mathematics learning is an effective approach to training this skill. This study aimed to design a hypothetical learning trajectory (HLT) for developing CT using Python programming on Google Colab. This study used a didactical design research (DDR) framework consisting of three stages: prospective analysis, metapedadidactic analysis, and retrospective analysis. The research participants were prospective mathematics teacher students enrolled in a computer programming course. Data were collected through observation, code artefacts, and reflective interviews. The results showed that HLT, designed in stages, improved the four main components of CT: decomposition, abstraction, pattern recognition, and algorithmic thinking. The students experienced improvements in breaking down problems, devising more efficient solutions, recognising patterns in code structures, and systematically designing algorithms. In addition, Google Colab supports learning by providing a collaborative and accessible programming environment. However, minor syntax errors and lack of attention to indentation were found. This study recommends using structured debugging strategies and project-based learning in optimizing CT development. The findings indicate that the integration of programming into the education of prospective mathematics teachers can equip them with essential CT skills to support technology-based mathematics teaching.

Abstract

Abstrak: Fondasi utama pembangunan suatu bangsa adalah pendidikan, karena melalui pendidikanlah kualitas sumber daya manusia dapat ditingkatkan secara sistematis dan berkelanjutan. Upaya peningkatan mutu pendidikan menjadi prioritas strategis, khususnya melalui penguatan peran calon guru penggerak sebagai agen transformasi di satuan pendidikan. Pendampingan bagi calon guru penggerak menjadi langkah penting dalam menciptakan ekosistem pembelajaran yang inovatif dan adaptif, khususnya di jenjang sekolah dasar. Untuk saat ini, tantangan pendidikan hadir dalam berbagai bentuk, seperti keterbatasan akses terhadap sumber daya pendidikan, kurangnya pelatihan berkualitas bagi guru, serta kesenjangan dalam pemanfaatan teknologi pendidikan yang dimiliki oleh guru-guru sekolah. Oleh karena itu, program pendampingan yang terstruktur dan berkelanjutan diarahkan untuk membekali calon guru SD dengan kompetensi yang mumpuni. Kegiatan ini berfokus untuk meningkatan kreativitas dalam merancang pembelajaran yang kontekstual, menyenangkan, serta relevan dengan kebutuhan dan karakteristik siswa.Selain itu, pendampingan ini juga diharapkan mampu menjawab tantangan implementasi kurikulum merdeka, khususnya dalam hal penyesuaian konten dengan kebutuhan lokal, pemanfaatan teknologi digital secara efektif, serta pemenuhan kebutuhan belajar siswa dengan latar belakang yang beragam. Melalui pendampingan pembelajaran inovatif dan pendekatan komprehensif, diharapkan memberikan perubahan positif dalam dunia pendidikan bagi calon guru SD. Perubahan ini tidak hanya akan memperkuat kapasitas guru sebagai pendidik profesional, tetapi juga memberikan dampak berkelanjutan bagi peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran dan pembangunan karakter generasi muda sebagai pilar masa depan bangsa.Abstract: One of the main foundations of a nation's development is education, as it is through it that the quality of human resources can be systematically and sustainably improved. In the Indonesian context, efforts to improve the quality of education are a strategic priority, particularly through strengthening the role of prospective teacher leaders as agents of transformation in educational institutions. Mentoring prospective teacher leaders is a crucial step in creating an innovative and adaptive learning ecosystem, particularly at the elementary and secondary school levels. Currently, educational challenges present themselves in various forms, such as limited access to educational resources, a lack of quality teacher training, and gaps in the utilization of educational technology by school teachers. Therefore, a structured and ongoing mentoring program is aimed at equipping prospective elementary school teachers with adequate pedagogical, technological, and social-emotional competencies. This activity focuses on enhancing creativity in designing contextual, enjoyable, and relevant learning that addresses students' needs and characteristics. Furthermore, this mentoring is also expected to address the challenges of implementing the independent curriculum, particularly in adapting content to local needs, effectively utilizing digital technology, and meeting the learning needs of students from diverse backgrounds. Through this innovative learning assistance and comprehensive approach, it is hoped that positive changes will be made in the world of education for prospective elementary school teachers. These changes will not only strengthen teachers' capacity as professional educators but also have a lasting impact on improving the quality of learning and developing the character of the younger generation, the pillars of the nation's future.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi proses semiotik siswa Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) dalam melakukan generalisasi pola bilangan melalui konteks budaya Sunda gamelan. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan subjek tiga orang siswa SMP yang dipilih secara purposive berdasarkan kategori kemampuan matematika tinggi, sedang, dan rendah. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes pemecahan masalah pola bilangan berbasis gamelan Sunda, wawancara semi-terstruktur, dan dokumentasi hasil pekerjaan siswa. Analisis data dilakukan secara kualitatif dengan menggunakan perspektif semiotik Peirce yang meliputi komponen representamen, mathematical object, dan interpretant. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dua siswa mampu memenuhi ketiga komponen semiotik, sehingga dikategorikan sebagai siswa dengan proses semiotik utuh, yang ditandai dengan kemampuan mengaitkan pola tabuhan gamelan dengan representasi simbolik serta menggeneralisasikannya ke dalam bentuk rumus pola bilangan. Sementara itu, satu siswa hanya memenuhi komponen representamen dan mathematical object tanpa menghasilkan interpretant secara bermakna, sehingga dikategorikan sebagai siswa dengan proses semiotik parsial. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa generalisasi pola bilangan yang bermakna memerlukan proses semiotik yang utuh serta dukungan pembelajaran yang mendorong pemaknaan konseptual melalui konteks budaya.

Abstract

Mathematics is a human activity carried out in daily life both consciously and unconsciously such as measurement (geometry) or arithmetic calculations, but in its implementation there are still many who find it difficult to understand mathematics. The availability of instructional media is one of the factors that is less optimal in class learning. The activity of this community partnership program aims to introduce Information and Communication Technology(ICT) in learning and provide training to design teaching materials using ICT. The methods of implementing community partnership activities are training, the formation of a training team for trainers (TFT) and ICT-based teaching materials. The results of the implementation of these community partnership activities are the activities of the community partnership program by conducting training by transferring knowledge and technology to create learning designs for mathematical realistic worksheets based on ICT to get positive responses from SDIT teachers in one of West Bandung regencies. ICT training for mathematics teachers must be developed so that they are more skilled in using ICT in the learning of mathematics in class and are skilled at making ICT-based learning designs and to make use of them in the revolutionary 4.0 era.
