Abstract

This research aims to explore the application of a transdisciplinary approach in Islamic education, with a focus on its integration with contemporary global challenges, such as social, environmental, and technological issues. This study uses a qualitative method with a literature study approach. Data is collected from a variety of secondary sources, such as books, journal articles, and official documents. Data analysis was carried out thematically to find patterns and relationships between transdisciplinary approaches and Islamic education. The focus of the research is the theoretical exploration of transdisciplinary education in the Islamic context. The findings show that the transdisciplinary approach at Sakinah Circle successfully integrates various disciplines such as science, mathematics, history, and language with Qur'anic values. Each theme taught, such as "Water" and "Samawat", provides a holistic learning experience, combining scientific, spiritual, and ethical dimensions. This approach prepares students to face contemporary challenges by fostering intellectual and spiritual development simultaneously. This research highlights the important role of a transdisciplinary approach in modernizing Islamic education to confront global issues such as environmental sustainability and social inequality. The study also demonstrates the need for institutional support in implementing this approach, as well as suggesting that transdisciplinary learning can enhance critical thinking skills, creativity, and collaboration in the context of Islamic education. This research makes an original contribution by linking the transdisciplinary approach to Islamic education, emphasizing its potential in bridging the gap between traditional religious teachings and the demands of the 21st century. This research offers a new perspective on how Islamic education can evolve to face global challenges while maintaining its core values.

Abstract

Tomatoes are classified as climacteric fruit that are susceptible to damaged after harvest. The use of edible coatings is expected to be a damage reduce alternative by forming a thin layer on the surface of the product that acts as a barrier to water loss and gas exchange to slow the damage process. This research aims to determine the best concentration of rice bran starch and storage duration that can maintain the quality of tomatoes as room temperature. The research design used was a factorial Randomized Group Design with concentrations of rice bran starch were 0% (control), 1%, 2%, 3%, 4%, and 5%, and storage durations of day-0, 4, 6, and 10. The results showed that a concentration of 5% rice bran starch was the most effective in maintain weight weight loss (5.00%), total soluble solids (5.16 ̊ brix), total acids (0.32%), vitamin C content (29.33 mg/100g, and red color (15.35) in tomatoes for 10 days at room temperature.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi karakteristik sensori minuman serbuk instan berbahan dasar air kelapa tua dan sari temulawak (Curcuma xanthorrhiza Roxb.) dengan variasi proporsi bahan. Formulasi disusun dengan komposisi air kelapa tua lebih tinggi hingga sebaliknya, lalu ditambahkan gula pasir sebanyak 150 gram. Campuran tersebut dimasak dengan api kecil hingga mengalami proses kristalisasi dan menghasilkan serbuk. Evaluasi sensori dilakukan secara deskriptif oleh 30 panelis terlatih menggunakan skala 1"“5. Parameter yang dinilai meliputi warna, aroma kelapa, aroma temulawak, rasa manis, rasa kelapa, rasa temulawak, dan kesukaan keseluruhan. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa proporsi air kelapa tua yang lebih tinggi memberikan aroma dan rasa kelapa yang lebih kuat serta tingkat kemanisan yang lebih disukai. Sementara itu, peningkatan jumlah temulawak memberikan warna kuning yang lebih intens dan aroma rempah yang khas, namun cenderung menurunkan tingkat kesukaan jika terlalu dominan. Formulasi dengan keseimbangan bahan yang tepat menghasilkan skor kesukaan tertinggi. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa pemilihan komposisi bahan sangat memengaruhi kualitas sensori minuman serbuk instan yang dihasilkan.

Abstract

Purple sweet potato yogurt is a form of local food innovation made from milk fermented by lactic acid bacteria (LAB), with the addition of purple sweet potato paste to enhance flavor and color, thereby increasing consumer appeal. During fermentation, LAB require carbon derived from carbohydrates as an energy source for their metabolism and growth. Differences in carbon sources are expected to influence and produce distinct yogurt characteristics. Therefore, this study aimed to investigate the effect of various carbon sources on the characteristics of purple sweet potato yogurt. The experiment was conducted using a Randomized Block Design (RBD) with a single treatment factor: the type of carbon source. Six treatments were tested, namely: no sugar (control), granulated sugar, palm sugar, sugarcane juice, coconut sugar, and honey. The results indicated that different carbon sources caused variations in total dissolved solids, total lactic acid bacteria, total titratable acidity, and total reducing sugars. Carbon sources significantly affected titratable acidity, reducing sugar content, total dissolved solids, color, taste, and the overall sensory evaluation of purple sweet potato yogurt. The yogurt produced exhibited titratable acidity values ranging from 1.69% to 1.86%, reducing sugar content from 1.11% to 1.46%, total LAB counts from 0.28 to 89.50 × 10¹0 CFU/g, and total dissolved solids from 10.25 to 17.75 °Brix. Sensory evaluation scores ranged as follows: color preference 2.83–4.26 (dislike to like), texture 3.43–3.76 (like), aroma 3.53–3.70 (like), taste 2.67–3.70 (dislike to like), and overall acceptability 3.43–3.90 (like).

Abstract

ABSTRAK                                                                            Praktik kebersihan mulut yang efektif dan teknik menyikat gigi yang baik sangat diperlukan untuk mencegah penyakit gigi seperti karies dan masalah periodontal. Pimpinan Cabang Istimewa Aisyiah (PCIA) Jepang, dikenal sebagai organisasi utama yang berkomitmen untuk melayani komunitas wanita Muslim Indonesia di Jepang, memiliki potensi besar untuk mengkatalisasi peningkatan transformatif dalam kesehatan komunitas Muslim. Mengakui tantangan dan masalah yang dihadapi komunitas Muslim di Jepang, ada peluang signifikan untuk membuat dampak yang berarti melalui program layanan masyarakat yang berfokus pada pendidikan kesehatan Islam. Inisiatif pendidikan kesehatan masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk membekali komunitas Muslim dengan pengetahuan dan kesadaran yang komprehensif mengenai pentingnya pemeliharaan kesehatan dalam kerangka nilai-nilai Islam, terutama untuk mendidik praktik kebersihan mulut komunitas Muslim PCIA Jepang. Kegiatan ini melibatkan 11 peserta dari komunitas Muslim PCIA Jepang. Intervensi pendidikan diberikan melalui pertemuan daring Zoom untuk memfasilitasi partisipasi dari individu di berbagai lokasi geografis. Sebelum dimulainya sesi, peserta terlibat dalam tes awal yang terdiri dari lima pertanyaan yang relevan dengan teknik menyikat gigi yang benar, diikuti dengan tes akhir setelah sesi berakhir. Inisiatif pendidikan kesehatan ini akan mencakup berbagai aspek, termasuk gaya hidup sehat, menjaga kebersihan mulut, dan teknik menyikat gigi sesuai dengan prinsip Islam. Peningkatan pengetahuan peserta tentang menjaga kebersihan mulut telah diamati pasca-konseling. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan setelah mendapatkan pendidikan. Kata kunci: Kebersihan mulut;edukasi kesehatan; literasi kesehatan. ABSTRACTEffective oral hygiene and brushing techniques are crucial for preventing dental diseases. Pimpinan Cabang Istimewa Aisyiah (PCIA) Japan, a prominent organization serving Indonesian Muslim women, has the potential to significantly improve Muslim health through community service programs focused on Islamic health education. Recognizing the challenges faced by Muslims in Japan, there is a key opportunity to positively impact health through education initiatives. This public health education initiative aims to equip the Muslim community with comprehensive knowledge and awareness regarding the importance of health maintenance within the framework of Islamic values, with a focus on educating the Muslim community of PCIA Japan on oral hygiene practices. This activity involved 11 participants from PCIA Japan. The program was conducted via Zoom, allowing participation from various locations. Participants completed a pre-test with five questions on toothbrushing before the session, followed by a post-test. The initiative focused on promoting healthy lifestyles, oral hygiene, and Islamic-guided brushing techniques. Following education, participants' knowledge of oral hygiene improved, demonstrating the program’s effectiveness. Keywords: oral hygiene; health education; health literacy

Abstract

Religious coaching in schools has an important role in shaping the character and personality of students to be in accordance with Islamic teachings. In adolescence, students are in a phase of self-discovery that is vulnerable to negative influences, so appropriate religious guidance is needed through systematic and continuous activities. This study aims to describe the implementation of religious coaching at SMA Negeri 1 Kotapinang and identify the inhibiting and supporting factors in the process. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that religious guidance is carried out through several programs, namely Islamic Spiritual activities (ROHIS), congregational Dzuhur prayers, and tajweed learning. These activities are able to foster students' spiritual awareness and strengthen religious values in daily life. However, there are several obstacles such as low student interest, the influence of a less conducive environment, and limited facilities. On the other hand, the success of this coaching is supported by cooperation between teachers, the involvement of school principals, and a strict supervision system. Therefore, religious guidance needs to be strengthened in order to be able to produce a young generation with noble character and Islamic character.

Abstract

As the population increases both due to birth rates and due to immigrants to an area, then automatically the human need for shelter in the area will increase. This phenomenon is a promising business opportunity for housing developers. The housing business opportunity lures entrepreneurs to expand their business wings by offering various types and models of housing to prospective customers. This condition has a positive impact on people who need a house as a place to live.  In this regard, this study will analyze the effect of the Islamic marketing mix (9P) on housing purchase decisions in the city of Pekanbaru. With quantitative methods, this research is a field research where the data collection technique is by distributing questionnaires to 100 respondents and conducting interviews with housing developers and marketing who are the object of research in the city of Pekanbaru. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant positive influence on product, price, place, promotion, people, process, physical evidence, promise, and petience on the housing purchase decision in Pekanbaru both persially and simultaneously.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis dakwah tasawuf sebagai model kebangsaan pada sustainable Development Goals untuk Indonesia maju Penelitian ini tergolong kualitatif dengan teori plus pendekatan fenomenologi yang dikembangkan oleh Jonathan A. Smith. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi secara mendalam melibatkan para tokoh di Penajam Paser Utara. Data yang telah terkumpul dianalisis dengan Langkah-langkah fenomenologis yakni: (1) reading and rereading, (2) initial noting, (3) developing emergent themes, (4) searching for connections across emergent themes, (5) moving the next cases, (6) looking for pattenrn across case. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dakwah tasawuf juga menggunakan hukum normatif, mulai dari bahan hukum berupa Undang-Undang, Peraturan Presiden, Peraturan Badan Riset dan Inovasi Nasional (BRIN), Rencana Induk Riset Nasional (RIRN), dan RPJMN yang sejalan dengan sustainable development goals (SDGS) untuk Indonesia maju, tentunya dengan konsep dakwah tasawuf sebagai model pemahaman dari moderasi beragama menuju moderasi berkebangsaan dengan pendekatan maqasyid syariah dan selama ini Indonesia masih berkutat pada moderasi beragama belum sampai ke moderasi berkebangsaan, sehingga, hasilnya masih bersifat represif.

Abstract

Pesantren berperan sebagai lingkungan tersendiri yang diyakini mempunyai peranan penting dalam perkembangan remaja, khususnya dalam pembentukan identitas diri mereka. Oleh karena itu, peneliti melakukan penelusuran terhadap proses terbentuknya identitas santri Shadana penganut tarekat Syattariyah. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, khususnya studi atau penelitian lapangan, pengumpulan data primer disertai dengan sumber sekunder seperti buku dan artikel. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan penciptaan identitas keagamaan di kalangan santri Shadana penganut tarekat Syattariyah.

Abstract

This article aims to examine the concept of emotional intelligence from the perspective of the Prophet Muhammad’s saw. hadith and its implementation in education, particularly in character education at schools. Emotional intelligence includes the ability to recognize, regulate, and redirect emotions in a healthy and proportional manner. This study uses a qualitative approach with library research methods, drawing on authentic hadiths and relevant academic literature. The findings show that the Prophet saw. provided practical examples of recognizing and managing emotions through prayer, physical actions (such as remaining silent, sitting, lying down, and performing ablution), and offering new meaning to emotional situations. In educational practice, emotional intelligence can be instilled through teacher guidance, self-reflection routines, and spiritual approaches based on Islamic values. Therefore, the concept of emotional intelligence in hadith is highly relevant to strengthening holistic character education.
