Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan literasi membaca melalui media buku cerita bergambar kelas III di SD Negeri 93 Palembang tahun akademik genap 2024/2025 dan untuk mengetahui dampak media buku cerita bergambar terhadap literasi membaca siswa kelas III di SD Negeri 93 Palembang tahun akademik genap 2024/2025. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas III SD Negeri 93 Palembang. Sampel penelitian yaitu sebanyak 30 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan angket. Dari hasil analisis yang dilakukan penulis, bahwa penerapan literasi membaca siswa melalui media buku cerita bergambar, meliputi guru dapat memahami penerapan literasi membaca siswa dan dampaknya pada pembelajaran bahasa indonesia dan guru dapat memanfaatkan media buku cerita bergambar dalam pembelajaran bahasa indonesia. Selanjutnya penulis melakukan penyebaran angket siswa dengan hasil akhir nilai rata-rata 91,2 dengan kriteria sangat setuju.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan model pembelajaran kolase terhadap kreativitas siswa dikelas IV.b SD Negeri 93 Palembang tahun akademik genap 2024/2025. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini yaitu guru dan siswa kelas IV.b SD Negeri 93 Palembang. Sampel penelitian yaitu sebanyak 32 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi, wawancara, angket serta dokumentasi sebagai bukti dilapangan. Dari hasil analisis yang dilakukan penulis, bahwa kreativitas siswa melalui model pembelajaran kolase, meliputi: berfikir kritis, keberanian dalam berekspresi, dan mengembangkan ide. Selanjutnya penulis melakukan penyebaran angket siswa dengan hasil akhir nilai rata-rata 86,3 dengan kriteria sangat setuju. Dalam penyebaran angket siswa terdapat 20 siswa memiliki kriteria sangat setuju, dan 12 siswa memiliki kriteria setuju. Dengan demikian, model pembelajaran kolase efektif diterapkan untuk menumbuhkan kreativitas siswa di kelas IV.b SD Negeri 93 Palembang.

This study explored the impact of QuillBot, an AI-driven writing assistant, on improving the narrative writing abilities of eleventh-grade students at SMA Daarul Aitam Palembang. Writing narrative texts poses a significant challenge for English learners due to the complexities of grammar, vocabulary, and coherent idea development. Adopting a quantitative methodology, the research utilized a One-Group Pre-test Post-test Design involving 30 students who completed a narrative writing task titled “The Best Day Ever” both before and after the intervention. During the treatment phase, participants were trained in using various QuillBot features—such as paraphrasing, grammar correction, and vocabulary enhancement—to revise their work. The findings revealed a notable improvement in the average score, rising from 58.33 on the pre-test to 80.00 on the post-test. A paired sample t-test further validated the tool’s effectiveness, yielding a significance value of 0.000, well below the 0.05 threshold. These results suggest that QuillBot significantly aided students in minimizing grammatical mistakes, enriching their vocabulary, and structuring their ideas more effectively. Overall, the study underscores the potential of QuillBot as a supportive resource in English writing instruction, particularly within EFL learning environments.

transfer their ideas to other people. One of the difficulties faced by English learners is the inability to engage in conversation. Some students neglect to speak because they are too shy or because they have a high level of anxiety about talking. In this case, the researchers used Role- Play as a method in teaching and learning process to solve the studentsâ€™ problem. The objective of the research was to describe how can role-play method improve English speaking skill through multimedia devices in class X students of SMAN 1 Prabumulih. This research was conducted at tenth grade of SMAN 1 Prabumulih. It used classroom action research (CAR) divided into two cycles. The result of the first cycle showed the mean score was 63.5%, which meant there were only six students who passed the target score of 70. Whereas the result of the second cycle was 75, it meant that the students had improved their score in speaking. Therefore, it could be concluded that there was an improvement in students' speaking skills after using role-play through multimedia devices. Keywords: Multimedia devices, speaking, role-play method

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan ice breaking pada pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif berupa pre-experimental dengan desain One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas V SD Negeri 99 Palembang dengan objek penelitian yaitu siswa kelas V.B sebagai kelas eskperimen. Uji hipotesis menggunakan uji paired sampel t-test. Berdasarkan analisis data, terlihat bahwa ada pengaruh yang signifikan dari penggunaan ice breaking pada pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Hal ini dilihat dari perhitungan uji t-test untuk hasil belajar Bahasa Indonesia yang memperoleh nilai Sig. (2- tailed) sebesar (0,001) ≤ α (0,05) dan nilai thitung sebesar 3,547 ≥ ttabel 2,056. Berdasarkan kriteria keputusan, maka H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima sehingga terbukti bahwa penggunaan ice breaking pada pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa.

Despite being largely regarded as a foreign language; English plays an undeniably significant part in Palembang's economy and educational system. Contrarily, research reveals that English proficiency among Palembang pupils’ declines. This article details a study that looked at how much EFL English majors at PGRI Palembang University improved their ability to write argumentative essays after being subjected to genre-based writing exercises with their writing instructors. The findings showed that students consistently struggled to criticize or refute opposing viewpoints and come up with more powerful rebuttals, even after being exposed to the preparation of genre-based argumentative essays. However, they were able to demonstrate development in their ability to recognize the rhetorical structures (genres) and lexicon-grammatical characteristics of the full argumentative essay. The strategy received favourable feedback from the participants. The paired sample t-test also revealed that students' post-intervention argumentative texts significantly outperformed their pre-intervention drafts. It is commonly accepted that students may regulate the linguistic aspects of the type of text with a specific communicative aim and comfortably enhance their writing skills by studying through a genre-based approach to writing. The consequences for teaching writing in an EFL setting are demonstrated in this essay. Additionally, it urges the adoption of a genre approach in EFL writing classes.

Storytelling or storytelling is an imaginary story that is considered not to have really happened, either by the teller or by the listener. Fairy tales are not bound by normative and factual provisions regarding actors, time and place. The perpetrators are imaginary creatures who have the wisdom or lack thereof to arrange human problems in all kinds of ways. Fairy tales are told mainly for entertainment, although many also depict truth or even morals. From the description above, the researcher concludes that storytelling or storytelling is a type of prose in old Malay literature that does not really happen in relation to the social environment. and passed down orally from one generation to the next. This community service is carried out as an embodiment of the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education for Lecturers at PGRI University in Palembang and L2 Dikti Palembang. The target to be achieved in the implementation of Community Service (PKM) is that lecturers can apply and develop their academic skills. The problem faced by English students when learning English at MI Darrun Najjah Prabumulih, Sumatra Selatan was how to make all students focus on the learning material and be active, considering that not all students can focus on what is conveyed and often there were students who also busy playing cellphones. To overcome this problem, the English teacher sometimes asked students some questions to regain their learning intention. The objective of this research were to find out the strategies in teaching listening to students of MI Darrun Najjah Prabumulih and the problems found by the English teacher in teaching listening as well as how they overcome the problems. The research was conducted by using descriptive qualiitative research. This research was carried out at MI Darrun Najjah Prabumulih. The subject of this research was a English teacher. The research collected the data through interview guidance and used library research, which compiles extensive documentation on a single or a number of topics. Both original sources and secondary sources are used in this investigation. In conclusion, according to the context, conditions, and daily situation of the students. It is recommended that the result of the study needs to be integrated into the communication media which is appropriate to the needs of the students.
