Abstract

The development of the Sharia capital market in Indonesia cannot be separated from the influence of foreign capital markets, especially in the Asian region. The fluctuations in the Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) indicate a contagion effect from the stock price movements of other countries. This study focuses on the relationship between the Dow Jones Islamic Market Index (DJIMI) in Malaysia, Japan, and China with JII. This study employs Vector Error Correction Model (VECM) analysis using monthly stock price index data from each variable from January 2021 to December 2023. In the long term, DJIMI Japan has a significant positive relationship with JII, DJIMI China has a significant negative relationship, while DJIMI Malaysia has no significant relationship. In the short term, DJIMI Malaysia, DJIMI Japan, and DJIMI China have no significant relationship with JII. This study is limited to the relationship between variables through the stock price index. Future studies need to include factors such as inflation, exchange rates, BI rate, and world gold prices in relation to market integration. This study uses contagion effect theory, market integration, and investment portfolio diversification to explain the relationships between the indices.

Abstract

Increasingly fierce competition encourages companies to find new ways to attract the attention of capital market investors. Market participants are now increasingly aware of the impact of corporate activities on the environment and the importance of social performance. The Indonesia Stock Exchange is also increasingly concerned about investor concerns about environmental damage due to excessive exploitation of natural resources. In cooperation with the Biodiversity Foundation (KEHATI), the Indonesia Stock Exchange established a new index in 2008 called the SRI-KEHATI index. Companies included in the SRI-KEHATI index are those that seriously pay attention to environmental, social, and good corporate governance issues. This study analyzes and explains financial performance and social performance on stock prices and stock trading volume. The object of this research is companies that are members of the Sri Kehati index in 2019-2023, namely 20 companies that are included in the criteria. Research using quantitative methods and data analysis using path analysis. The data analysis technique in this study uses the help of the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS), which is directed at answering the formulation of problems or hypotheses that have been formulated in this study. Data collection uses secondary data from annual reports and financial reports. The results of the analysis show that higher financial performance can increase stock prices, higher social performance can increase stock prices, higher stock prices can increase stock trading volume, financial performance has an effect on stock trading volume activity, good social performance can increase the company's stock trading volume, higher financial performance can increase stock trading volume through an increase in the company's stock price, higher social performance can increase stock trading volume through an increase in the company's stock price.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas strategi dan tantangan dalam perekrutan di pasar tenaga kerja. Metode penelitian yang penulis gunakan ialah kajian pustaka (library research) data primer dan sekunder dianalisis secara kualitatif kemudian disajikan secara deskriptif yaitu menjelaskan, menguraikan, menggambarkan permasalahan yang terkait. Penulis menguraikan peran penting perekrutan dalam membangun tim yang unggul dan menjelaskan bagaimana strategi yang efektif dapat meningkatkan kesesuaian antara kandidat dan kebutuhan perusahaan. Tantangan seperti persaingan ketat di pasar tenaga kerja dan perubahan dinamika pasar dijelaskan, bersama dengan solusi untuk mengatasi hambatan tersebut. Jurnal ini memberikan wawasan mendalam tentang dinamika perekrutan dan kontribusinya terhadap keberhasilan organisasi dalam mengelola sumber daya manusia.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji kerangka hukum kesetaraan kesempatan kerja (Equal Employment Opportunity/EEO) dan pengelolaan keberagaman dalam organisasi kerja dari perspektif hukum nasional, internasional, dan syariah. Kajian ini berdasarkan pendekatan kualitatif yang bersumber pada analisis data literatur untuk memahami regulasi serta praktik manajerial yang mendukung inklusivitas dan keadilan di tempat kerja. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa prinsip EEO telah memiliki legitimasi hukum yang kuat melalui berbagai regulasi internasional seperti konvensi ILO, serta undang-undang nasional seperti UUD 1945 dan UU Ketenagakerjaan. Selain itu, perspektif Islam juga menekankan pentingnya kesetaraan dan larangan diskriminasi, baik berdasarkan gender, ras, maupun latar belakang sosial. Pengelolaan keberagaman yang efektif terbukti meningkatkan kreativitas, kepuasan kerja, dan produktivitas organisasi. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan pendekatan holistik yang menggabungkan regulasi, budaya organisasi inklusif, dan prinsip-prinsip keadilan untuk membangun lingkungan kerja yang harmonis dan produktif.

Abstract

This study examines the relationship between Islamic personality, Sharia financial literacy, and the moderating role of Islamic appraisal on financing eligibility assessment in the Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs) sector. Research data was collected by distributing questionnaires to Muslim business owners in Makassar City. The research sample consisted of 220 respondents using a purposive sampling method. The data analysis method employed the Structural Equation Model–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) approach using SmartPLS 4.0 as the data analysis tool. The results indicate that Islamic personality and Sharia financial literacy have a positive and significant effect on financing eligibility assessment. Islamic appraisal has a positive but insignificant effect on financing eligibility assessment. Furthermore, Islamic appraisal has a positive and significant moderating effect on the influence of Islamic personality, but not on the influence of Sharia financial literacy, on the assessment of financing eligibility. This research makes a theoretical contribution to the development of the literature by investigating the influence of Islamic personality aspects, Sharia financial literacy, and Islamic appraisal on Islamic financing assessment for Muslim entrepreneurs in the MSEs. The implication is the need for synergy between entrepreneurs and Islamic financial institutions in building trust in partnership relationships.

Abstract

Research aims: This study investigates how work–family conflict, job stress, and social support interact to shape women’s work–life balance in the Indonesian banking sector. It contributes to the work–life literature by recontextualizing classical stress and role theories within a gendered, post-pandemic professional setting in a developing economy.Design/Methodology/Approach: This study distributes a structured questionnaire 197 female professionals across multiple banking institutions, and the data is analyzed using PLS-SEM.Research findings: The findings reveal that while work–family conflict does not directly reduce work-life balance, it significantly elevates job stress, which in turn diminishes perceived balance. Social support mitigates the negative impact of stress but does not attenuate the effects of conflict itself.Theoretical Contribution/Originality: This study extends the theory of conservation of resources (COR), role theory, as well as the job demands–resources (JD-R) model by proposing a moderated mediation framework in which job stress mediates the relationship between work–family conflict and work–life balance, while social support serves as a conditional buffer.Practitioners/Policy Implications: These insights advance theoretical understanding and provide actionable insights for designing gender-responsive human resource policies and systems in high-pressure service sectors.Research Limitations/Implications: Future studies should integrate variables such as digital surveillance, algorithmic task allocation, and technostress to capture the impact of new and emerging technologies on work–life dynamics, particularly for women.

Abstract

Abstrak Kajian ini mengulas proses seleksi sumber daya manusia (SDM) dalam kerangka manajemen syariah dengan menyoroti pandangan Islam terhadap mekanisme rekrutmen karyawan dan penjaringan talenta unggul. Dalam paradigma Islam, seleksi SDM tidak hanya berfokus pada kecakapan teknis dan latar belakang pendidikan, melainkan juga mempertimbangkan kualitas moral dan spiritual individu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji konsep seleksi SDM menurut perspektif Islam, mengidentifikasi nilai-nilai syariah yang menjadi dasar dalam proses rekrutmen dan seleksi, serta menelaah relevansi penerapannya dalam konteks organisasi modern. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik studi pustaka melalui penelaahan sistematis terhadap literatur klasik dan kontemporer yang membahas manajemen sumber daya insani berbasis syariah. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa proses seleksi SDM dalam manajemen syariah menekankan keseimbangan antara kompetensi profesional dan integritas moral, yang tercermin dalam prinsip al-quwwah dan al-amānah. Penerapan prinsip tersebut diyakini mampu menghasilkan sumber daya manusia yang tidak hanya berkinerja tinggi, tetapi juga beretika dan selaras dengan nilai-nilai Islam dalam mencapai tujuan organisasi. Kata Kunci: Manajemen syariah, Nilai Islam, Rekrutmen, Seleksi SDM.   Abstract This study explores the human resource (HR) selection process within the framework of Sharia management by highlighting the Islamic perspective on employee recruitment and talent acquisition. From an Islamic viewpoint, HR selection extends beyond technical skills and academic qualifications to include ethical and spiritual dimensions. This research aims to examine the concept of HR selection in Islam, identify Sharia-based values that underpin recruitment and selection practices, and assess their relevance in contemporary organizational settings. A qualitative approach is employed using a literature review method, drawing upon classical and modern sources related to Islamic human resource management. The findings reveal that HR selection in Sharia management emphasizes a balanced integration of professional capability and moral integrity, as reflected in the principles of al-quwwah and al-amānah. The application of these principles contributes to the formation of human resources who are competent, ethical, and aligned with Islamic values, thereby supporting sustainable organizational performance. Abstract

Pada dasarnya semua perusahaan harus dihadapkan dengan modal yang akan menentukan keberlanjutan hidup perusahaannya, modal ini dapat diperoleh apabila sang investor tertarik untuk berinvestasi pada perusahaan, salah satu cara agar investor tertarik pada perusahaan dapat dilihat dari nilai perusahaannya. Nilai perusahaan merupakan persepsi investor terhadap tingkat keberhasilan perusahaan yang sering dikaitkan dengan Harga saham. Harga saham yang tinggi membuat nilai perusahaan juga tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh dari 3 komponen yaitu corporate social responsibility, Ukuran Perusahaan dan Interest Based Debt terhadap Nilai Perusahaan pada perusahaan manufaktur yang Terdaftar di Jakarta Islamic Index. Variabel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu corporate social responsibility,Ukuran Perusahaan dan Intrest Based Debt sebagai variabel independen serta Nilai Perusahaan sebagai Variabel Dependen. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif, sumber data dalam penelitian ini yaitu data sekunder yang diperoleh dari JII. Jumlah sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian sebanyak 7 perusahaan manufaktur. Metode pemilihan sampel yang digunakan yaitu metode nonprobabilitas yaitu purposive sampling yang merupakan teknik pengambilan sampel berdasarkan kriteria tertentu yang ditentukan oleh peneliti. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu regresi linear berganda. Hasil dari pengujian hipotesis didalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa CSR berpengaruh positif dan signifikan pada Nilai Perusahaan, ukuran perusahaan berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan, sedangkan Interest Based Debt berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the determinants of organizational citizenship behavior at Palu local government. The collection of data through questionnaires took sample of 221 respondents. Sample criteria are high level officials such as the Head of Department or the Head of the Agency, administration level officials like administrators (Echelon III) and the official supervisors (Echelon IV), and functional level officials varied within functional expertise and skilled functional officials (supervisor positions) at least level III/c. Its Sampling technique is conducted by using multifarious or sampling combined with a combination of purposive sampling and stratified sampling (proportionate stratified random sampling). Data are analysed by using Structural Equation Modelling Partial Least Square (SEM PLS). The results reveal that (1) Public service motivation positively and significantly effect organizational citizenship behavior, and (2) Organizational commitment support the positive and significant effect on organizational citizenship behavior at Palu local government.

Abstract

In the era of globalisation and intense competition, workforce recruitment is one of the key factors in improving the quality of employees and improving organisational performance. In practice, workforce recruitment is one of the important aspects of human resource management in an organisation. In the context of an Islamic perspective, the recruitment and selection process must be carried out in accordance with Islamic principles and values. This research aims to explore recruitment and selection practices in the labour market in an Islamic perspective. This research is a research using the library research method. The results of this study show that in Islamic organisations, alignment of workforce needs with job descriptions and specifications is essential to ensure compliance with Islamic values. Integration orientation plays an important role in developing employees who are not only technically competent, but also have a strong understanding of Islamic values and commitment to the organisation. Regular and open evaluation and feedback can help organisations improve the recruitment and selection process on an ongoing basis, so as to attract and select the best candidates that match the needs of the organisation, as well as provide a positive experience for applicants and the recruitment team. By applying the principles of fairness, equality and legal compliance, organisations can build recruitment and selection processes that are fair, transparent and non-discriminatory.
