Abstract

The implementation of the Free Nutritious Meal Program (Makan Bergizi Gratis/MBG) as a strategic government initiative has generated diverse responses from the public, widely discussed on social media, particularly on the X (Twitter) platform. Differences in perceptions regarding the objectives, implementation, and impacts of the policy have encouraged intensive public discussions. However, the tendency of public sentiment toward this program has not been widely analyzed systematically using machine learning approaches based on contextual representations. Therefore, this study analyzes public sentiment toward the hashtag #MakanBergiziGratis using the Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) method. A total of 5,516 Indonesian-language tweets were collected through a web scraping process within the period of January 1 to November 30, 2025. Sentiment labeling employed a lexicon-based approach to classify the data into three categories: positive, neutral, and negative. The analysis stages included text preprocessing, BERT tokenization and embedding, handling imbalanced data using the Synthetic Minority Over-sampling Technique (SMOTE), and sentiment classification using LSTM. The results reveal that neutral sentiment dominates with 60.80%, followed by positive sentiment at 34.34% and negative sentiment at 4.86%. The developed model achieved an accuracy of 82.50% with a weighted F1-score of 82.66%. Furthermore, evaluation using 5-fold cross-validation produced an average accuracy of 82.8%, indicating stable model performance and good generalization capability in identifying public opinion trends toward the MBG policy.

Abstract

The use of digital technology is one way to improve effectiveness, efficiency, and broaden service reach. One example of this technology is e-learning, which allows for flexible learning without the constraints of time and space. The development of information technology is not only having a national impact but is also a global phenomenon, driving digital transformation across various sectors, including education. The development of information technology encourages government institutions to transform educational and counseling services into digital platforms. BNN Kabupaten Tulungagung requires a system capable of integrating online learning with counseling services within a single integrated platform. This study aims to implement virtual counseling in a Laravel-based e-learning system using the Prototype method and to conduct functional testing using Black Box Testing. The Prototype method was applied through several stages including requirement communication, system design, prototype development, and iterative evaluation. The system developed includes pretest, learning materials, posttest, digital certificates with QR Code, an admin dashboard, and virtual counseling features that allow users to conduct online consultations with BNN officers, as well as an FAQ feature for additional information. The testing results indicate that the system functions according to the required specifications and can be used effectively by both users and administrators. The implementation of this system supports the digital implementation of the P4GN education program and provides a more accessible counseling service for the community at BNN Kabupaten Tulungagung.

Abstract

This study aims to design a web-based e-catering system integrated with WhatsApp Gateway for the Kembang Desa Ngentrong catering company. This system is intended to simplify and streamline the process of ordering, paying, and reporting catering orders online so as to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. The development approach used is Agile Development, which facilitates the system development process iteratively and collaboratively by actively involving stakeholders. The implementation of WhatsApp Gateway as an integrated communication channel facilitates the ordering process by customers directly through the popular WhatsApp application. This system is developed based on web technology with product menu selection features, order confirmation, automatic alerts, and transaction reports that can be accessed by business owners. The results of system testing show that the use of the Agile Development approach can accelerate the development process and produce products that are in accordance with user needs with a validation scale of "Very Eligible." This e-catering system is expected to help the Kembang Desa Ngentrong Catering business manage orders better and improve customer service.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of wireless network technology and the Internet of Things (IoT) ecosystem in the industrial sector carries significant security risks, particularly regarding vulnerabilities within the management frame protocol. This study aims to evaluate the resilience of wireless network infrastructure against communication disruptions at the protocol level, specifically deauthentication attacks, at PT Jaring Solusi Persada (JSP) Tulungagung Branch. Applying a Research and Development (R&D) method with a Prototyping approach , empirical and real-time testing was conducted using a low-power ESP8266 Deauther Version 2 device as a penetration medium across 15 different access points (APs). Quality of Service (QoS) parameters, including throughput, latency, and packet loss, were measured using Wireshark software to analyze network performance degradation in detail. The experimental results reveal that deauthentication attacks inflict a highly destructive impact on vulnerable devices. Out of the 15 tested APs, 6 units (40%) consisting of consumer-grade devices (such as TP-Link, ZTE, and Totolink) were declared vulnerable because they did not support or activate the Management Frame Protection (MFP/IEEE 802.11w) feature. On these vulnerable devices, the attack successfully triggered complete client disconnections, a drastic 70% drop in throughput (from 567 kbps to 170 kbps), extreme latency spikes ranging from 100 to 300 ms, and a packet loss of 15%. Conversely, 9 AP units (60%), dominated by Ruijie Enterprise business-class devices, successfully withstood the attack and maintained stable network connections due to superior hardware specifications and better defense configurations. This study recommends upgrading network security standards to WPA3 and strictly enabling the Protected Management Frames (PMF) feature to ensure the company's operational continuity.

Abstract

The advancement of Internet of Things (IoT) technology in industrial sectors has driven the need for more accurate and integrated automation systems, particularly in production weighing processes. PT. Jaring Solusi Persada Tulungagung Branch required improvements in measurement accuracy, real-time data recording, and monitoring of rice milling operations. This research aims to design and develop an IoT-based digital weighing system using ESP32 and load cell to enhance operational efficiency and reduce weighing errors. The research method applied is Research and Development (R&D) using a Prototyping approach, encompassing hardware design, software development, load cell calibration, and direct system testing in the operational environment. The system utilizes the HX711 module as a signal amplifier for the load cell, with ESP32 as the main microcontroller to process weight data and transmit information in real-time via Bluetooth to a Flutter-based mobile dashboard application. Testing results indicate that the system achieved 0% error rate in weighing accuracy tests across six trials with load variations of 1–20 kg. Actuator response tests showed an average response time of 0.80 seconds with an average overshoot of 0.72% of the target weight, within acceptable tolerance for on-off control systems. IoT integration with real-time monitoring via Bluetooth successfully enabled live weight tracking and production history recording. This system demonstrates significant improvement in work efficiency, minimization of human error, and support for faster and more accurate decision-making in rice milling production

Abstract

The manual and subjective process of determining color printing costs and recording sales transactions at Penjilidan Express, which resulted in inconsistent pricing, recording errors, and reduced operational efficiency. This research focuses on developing a web-based cashier system equipped with a Print Color Analysis feature to support more objective and consistent printing cost estimation and streamline transaction management. The system was developed using the Scrum framework and implemented with the Laravel framework based on the Model-View-Controller (MVC) architecture. The Print Color Analysis feature calculates the percentage of RGB/CMYK color composition from digital files in JPG, PNG, and PDF formats to automatically estimate printing costs. The developed system was evaluated through Black Box Testing across seven core functional features. The results demonstrated that every tested feature performed as expected, achieving a 100% success rate and confirming that the system fulfilled all predefined functional requirements.The developed system is expected to improve the consistency of printing cost calculations, streamline transaction processing, and minimize the risk of errors in sales data recording. Therefore, the proposed system can serve as an effective solution to support operational efficiency, pricing transparency, and business digitalization in printing service companies.

Abstract

This study aims to develop and evaluate a Medical Record Education System designed to enhance students’ digital competence in managing electronic medical records (EMRs). Addressing the gap between the- oretical learning and practical application in health informatics educa- tion, the system was developed using the Waterfall model and evaluated through the ISO 9126 software quality framework. A Research and De- velopment (RD) approach was applied at Politeknik Indonusa Surakarta involving 30 final-year students of the Health Information Management program. Data collection included observation, ISO 9126-based ques- tionnaires, and in-depth interviews, analyzed using descriptive and the- matic techniques. The results showed significant improvement in student performance, with pretest–posttest scores increasing from 64.5 to 86.2 after a two-week system trial. The system comprises interactive modules such as patient data entry, diagnosis coding, and auto-report generation. Expert evaluation produced high scores for usability (4.6), functionality (4.4), reliability (4.2), and efficiency (4.3), confirming both educational value and technical feasibility. These findings highlight the role of struc- tured development and quality assessment models in instructional in- novation. The system not only improves learning outcomes but also provides a replicable model for embedding digital transformation into vocational healthcare education.

Abstract

Manual zakat management at BAZNAS Tulungagung Regency still faces various obstacles, such as data recording errors, delays in report preparation, and less than optimal transparency of zakat fund distribution information. This study aims to design, develop, and evaluate a web-based E-Zakat System that suits the operational needs of BAZNAS Tulungagung Regency. The study uses a Research and Development (R&D) approach with data collection through observation and interviews with BAZNAS managers to identify system requirements. The software development process applies the Feature-Driven Development (FDD) method which includes five stages, namely Develop an Overall Model, Build a Feature List, Plan by Feature, Design by Feature, and Build by Feature. The system was developed using the Laravel Livewire 3 framework with a MySQL database, and is equipped with features for managing muzakki and mustahiq data, zakat payments and distribution, content management, WhatsApp notifications, and user management. System evaluation was carried out using Black Box Testing. The test results showed that all 47 test scenarios were successfully executed according to their functions, so that the system was declared suitable for use to support more effective, efficient, transparent and accountable zakat management.

Abstract

PT XYZ still implements a manual inventory recording process, potentially causing stock discrepancies that can disrupt the company's operational flow. This study aims to predict inventory needs to support more accurate stock control. The data used are historical purchase and inventory data for the period April–September 2025. The analysis was conducted using three time series methods, namely Moving Average (MA), Exponential Smoothing (ES), and Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average (ARIMA). The analysis stages include identifying data patterns, model formation, parameter testing, forecasting inventory needs, and evaluating model accuracy using Mean Absolute Error (MAE), Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE), and Root Mean Square Error (RMSE). The model with the smallest error value was selected as the best model to determine stock needs, Safety Stock, and Reorder Point. The results showed that the ARIMA (1,1,1) model provided the best level of accuracy with an MAE value of 98.71, MAPE 7.25%, and RMSE 124.46. Based on this model, the estimated inventory requirement for the next period is 1,312 units, with a safety stock of 152 units and a reorder point of 1,458 units. The analysis results are visualized in a dashboard, showing that the majority of inventory is in the safe category, thus supporting more effective inventory control.

Abstract

Public services and information management in Bogoran Village, Kampak District, Trenggalek Regency, currently face obstacles due to reliance on conventional systems, including manual administrative processes and physical notice boards. This study aims to design and build a Public Service and Citizen Information Website in Bogoran Village using the Extreme Programming (XP) method, which includes four stages: Planning, Design, Coding, and Testing. The system was developed using the Laravel framework (PHP), MySQL database, and CSS for a responsive interface. Testing was conducted using Black Box Testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) involving 5 respondents. Black Box Testing results showed that all main features functioned as expected. UAT evaluation yielded an average feasibility percentage of 94.29%, categorized as very good. The system provides village information services, news publication, activity gallery, citizen complaint features, and WhatsApp notification integration, effectively improving public service effectiveness and information transparency in Bogoran Village.
