Abstract

This research is aimed at finding out the effect of emulsion of water and diesel fuelwith lerak emulsifier on the gas emission of diesel fuel and its effect on the power producedby the diesel motor.The steps involved in the research are extracting lerak and blending the emulsion ofwater and diesel fuel by using lerak extract emulsifier. To test the sample of lerak extractmethods used were IKU/5.4/TK-02 for Viscosity Kinematic at 30°C, IKU/5.4/TK-03 for FlashPoint PM.CC, IKU/5.4/TK-04 for Pour Point, ASTM 130 for Copperstrip Corosion at 100°C, (3hrs),ASTM 473 for Sediment test, dan ASTM D 95 for Water Content.The reasearch result showed that the lerak extract was made successfully by usingethanol solvent. However, the process of blending the lerak emulsifier and water as well asdiesel fuel was not successful yet. They were not blended perfectly yet though the result ofthe blending process had shown the different contents of diesel fuel.Keywords: emulsifier, lerak fruit, water emulsion, diesel engine

Abstract

“Software Simulasi Ujian Nasional Berbasis Mobile Application MenggunakanBahasa Pemrograman Java 2 Micro Edition (J2ME)” is a solution and innovation inaddressing the graduation rate of students is getting lower and to increase studentinterest in learning so as to make preparation for the national exam is more mature andis expected to achieve satisfactory results with high rates of graduation. The goal inmaking this software are 1) Can design and create a "National Exam SimulationSoftware", 2) Determine the performance of the "National Exam Simulation Software",and 3) Knowing the advantages "National Exam Simulation Software".Implementation of this research through several steps: 1) Identify needs, 2) Designand Drafting software (Software), 3) Encoding software, 4) Specification of software, 5)Testing software, and 6) Repair and Operation.Based on the stages that have been conducted, the obtained results, a NationalExam Simulation Software. Users can provide the answers A, B, C, D or E on eachquestion are shown. For each correct answer on each question, it will be given points1. Results of questionnaires and interviews on research could also be a reference toimprove the quality of school services in the face of the National Examination. Abstract

Gunungkidul has various cultural potentials that make it a tourist destination. To make it easier for tourists to visit and get tourist destination information, several researchers developed a mobile application-based information system. However, mobile applications have several drawbacks as such as the user must install the application and can only be used on specific operating systems. The purpose of this research is to develop and analyze applications regarding the potential of Gunungkidul culture based on progressive web apps and which can be used without having to install applications and can run in all operating systems. The application development method uses Scrum and Ionic Framework as a framework for the application. The performance analysis method was tested on runtime performance (loading, scripting, rendering, painting, system) and memory usage (min JS Heap and max JS Heap) by using Chrome Developer Tools for 30 tests. The results of the development show that there are 7 features in the application, namely (1) Peta; (2) Geoheritage; (3) Daerah; (4) Cagar Budaya; (5) Kuliner; (6) Seni Adat Tradisi; (7) Agenda. Runtime performance and memory usage test results show the average value on aspects (1) Loading: 33.60 ms; (2) Scripting: 1069.20 ms; (3) Rendering: 84.90 ms; (4) Painting: 22.33; (5) System: 429.67 ms; (6) Min JS Heap: 8.05 MB; and (8) Max JS Heap: 19.51 MB.

Abstract

The use of information and communication technology could increase the quantity and quality of small medium enterprises (SME) production, including batik industry. This study focuses on the development of batik 4.0, a custom batik mobile-based interface that makes it easier for customer which can be used to quickly produce high-quality digital batik designs. The findings of this study simplify the ordering process for potential clients who want to acquire custom batik designs. Ease of transactions, namely down payments (DP) where users can make advance payments, so that users are relieved in terms of payment transactions. In designing mobile devices, applications, and user interfaces (UI), it is important to consider the user experience (UX). This paper focuses on UX design rooted in the user-centered design (UCD) approach, placing emphasis on understanding user requirements and prioritizing empathy for users. This ensures the recognition of user needs and the creation of a high-fidelity prototype. Then it was validated by the UI experts to identify problems and user difficulties in interacting with the UI. The experts responded positively towards the application and suggest for prototype improvement. Lastly, UX testing; based on the user experience questionnaire (UEQ)-S benchmark results, the batik 4.0 mobile is included in the “Excellent” category.

Abstract

Batik coloring still uses synthetic dyes, so the disposal of coloring waste should not be careless. Most batik craftsmen process their batik waste by settling the waste liquid for a long time. The process is very ineffective. The purpose of this research is to design a batik processing tool that is cheap and effective. The research method uses the electrocoagulation method. The electrocoagulation method is an electrochemical water treatment. The design of this batik waste treatment tool consists of five parts including: (1) Electrocoagulation Tub, (2) Skimmer, (3) Electrode, (4) Sand Filter, and (5) Studge Drying Bed. This tool works with 900 watts of power with an output of 20-40 volts DC. The capacity of liquid waste is 40 liters. Duration of waste treatment for 2 hours. The electrocoagulation method is able to reduce the values of BOD5, COD, TSS, and TDS in batik dye waste. The pH of wastewater which is still high can be reduced by giving alum.

Abstract

Salah satu IMKM yang berada di wilayah Yogyakarta adalah Sentra Kerajinan Batik Kayu Krebet. Dalam menjalankan bisnis usahanya, masih terdapat beberapa kendala yang dihadapi mengenai pemasaran melalui digital dan kurangnya pemahaman mengenai Tingkat Kandungan Dalam Negeri (TKDN) produk dalam pengadaan barang/ jasa, Sehingga kegiatan PkM yang dilakukan yaitu Pelatihan Pemasaran dan TKDN Produk dengan tujuan yaitu memberikan tambahan wawasan kepada para pelaku IMKM Batik Kayu Krebet tentang konsep digital marketing untuk memasarkan produk yang lebih luas, melatih dan mensimulasikan penggunaan media digital Sibakul Jogja. Selain itu juga memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan untuk memahami konsep, prosedur, manfaat penerapan, dan perhitungan TKDN di sektor industri kecil. Tahapan pelaksanaan meliputi: Persiapan, Pengkajian, Pelaksanaan, Evaluasi, Penyusunan Laporan dan Publikasi. Kegiatan pengabdian diikuti oleh 38 peserta yang merupakan IMKM atau sanggar-sanggar yang berada di Krebet binaan PLUT-KUMKM DIY. Kegiatan berhasil terlaksana dengan baik dan sesuai dengan tujuan awal berdasarkan indikator keberhasilan dari segi teori (pengetahuan) dan keterampilan yang dinilai melalui peningkatan persentase pemahaman pada hasil pre-test dan post test serta evaluasi kegiatan yang diisi oleh peserta. Semua pertanyaan mengalami peningkatan persentase untuk indikator “Sangat Memahami” dan “Memahami” setelah post-test, sebaliknya terjadi penurunan persentase untuk indikator “Sangat Tidak Memahami” dan “Tidak Memahami” untuk semua pertanyaan. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada dampak yang signifikan dirasakan oleh peserta dari segi pengetahuan dan keterampilan dengan tingkat keberhasilan tinggi mencapai 100%. Secara keseluruhan kegiatan tingkat kepuasan peserta tinggi (Sangat Puas 18,9%, Puas 75,7%, dan Tidak Puas 5,4%). Marketing and TKDN Product Training for the Batik Wood SMEs of Krebet Assisted by PLUT-KUMKM DIY Abstract One of the MSMEs in the Yogyakarta area is the Krebet Wooden Batik Craft Center. In conducting its business, there are still several obstacles faced regarding digital marketing and a lack of understanding about the Domestic Content Level (TKDN) in the procurement of goods/services. Therefore, the Community Service Program (PkM) conducted was Marketing and TKDN Product Training with the aim of providing additional insights to the MSME Krebet actors about the concept of digital marketing to market products more broadly, training, and simulating the use of the Sibakul Jogja. Additionally, the program provided knowledge and skills to understand the concept, procedures, benefits of implementation, and calculation of TKDN in the small industry sector. The implementation stages included: Preparation, Assessment, Implementation, Evaluation, Report Preparation, and Publication. The community service activity was attended by 38 participants from MSMEs or workshops in Krebet guided by PLUT-KUMKM DIY. The activity was successfully carried out in accordance with the initial objectives, based on success indicators in terms of theory (knowledge) and skills, as assessed through the increase in understanding percentages from pre-test and post-test results, and activity evaluations filled out by the participants. All questions showed an increase in the percentage of the "Very Understanding" and "Understanding" indicators after the post-test, while there was a decrease in the percentage for the "Very Not Understanding" and "Not Understanding" indicators for all questions. It can be concluded that there was a significant impact felt by the participants in terms of knowledge and skills, with a high success rate reaching 100%. Overall, the activity had a high level of participant satisfaction (Very Satisfied 18.9%, Satisfied 75.7%, and Not Satisfied 5.4%).

Abstract

Guru memiliki peran penting dalam mendidik generasi muda tentang seni dan budaya, termasuk batik. Oleh karena itu, meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam bidang batik akan memiliki dampak yang signifikan dalam mengembangkan pemahaman dan apresiasi siswa terhadap seni dan budaya. Tujuan diadakannya kegiatan PkM ini yaitu meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan membuat batik tulis dan desain batik berbasis kompetensi, melatih guru dalam yang tergabung dalam Musyawarah Guru Mata Pelajaran (MGMP) Seni Budaya di Yogyakarta, dan mendapatkan sertifikat kompetensi batik BNSP. Tahapan yang dilakukan dalam kegiatan: 1) Tahap Persiapan, bersama mitra berupa perencanaan program, bahan materi, pendaftaran, dan seleksi peserta sesuai dokumen kelengkapan yang dikirimkan meliputi biodata, surat keterangan pengalaman, dan surat tugas sekolah. 2) Tahap Pelaksanaan, mengacu kepada Modul Kompetensi & Buku Kerja sesuai Standar Kompetensi Kerja Nasional Indonesia (SKKNI) yaitu rumusan kemampuan kerja yang mencakup aspek pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan/ atau keahlian serta sikap kerja. 3) Tahap Evaluasi berupa Pre-test, Post-Test, Sertifikasi Uji Kompetensi oleh LSP, dan Evaluasi Kegiatan. Hasil olah data statistik antara nilai pre-test dan post-test menggunakan uji hipotesis Paired t-test diperoleh nilai p sangat kecil (jauh di bawah 0.05), menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan dan sertifikasi kompetensi batik pada skema pembatik tulis dan skema gambar motif secara signifikan efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan peserta. Hasil uji kompetensi sesuai target keberhasilan bahwa 19 dari 20 peserta atau 95% dinyatakan sudah “Kompeten” dan mendapatkan sertifikat BNSP. Hasil evaluasi untuk aspek materi, fasilitator, fasilitas dan kelengkapan kegiatan, dan proses sertifikasi menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan memiliki kualitas yang baik dan tingkat kepuasan peserta yang tinggi (50% Puas dan 50% Sangat Puas). Batik Training and Competency Certification for Arts and Culture Teachers in Yogyakarta Abstract Teachers have an important role in educating the younger generation about arts and culture, including batik. Therefore, improving teachers' competencies of batik will have a significant impact on developing students' understanding and appreciation of art and culture. The purpose of this community service program (PkM) is to enhance knowledge and skills in batik-making and design based on competency, train teachers who are members of the Yogyakarta Arts and Culture Subject Teachers Association (MGMP), and obtain BNSP batik competency certificates. The activities were carried out in several stages: 1) Preparation Stage: This included program planning, material preparation, participant registration, and selection based on submitted documents such as biodata, experience certificates, and school assignment letters. 2) Implementation Stage refers to the Competency Module and Workbook according to the Indonesian National Work Competency Standards (SKKNI), which encompass the formulation of work abilities including aspects of knowledge, skills, and/or expertise, as well as work attitudes. 3) Evaluation Stage: This involved pre-tests, post-tests, competency certification by the Professional Certification Institute (LSP), and activity evaluation. The results met the success target, with 19 out of 20 participants (95%) being declared "Competent" and receiving BNSP certificates. Statistical data analysis using the Paired t-test hypothesis test between pre-test and post-test scores yielded a very small p-value (well below 0.05), indicating that the batik training and competency certification in the batik-making and motif design schemes were significantly effective in improving participants' skills. The evaluation results for aspects of material, facilitators, facilities and activity completeness, and the certification process showed high quality and a high level of participant satisfaction (50% Satisfied and 50% Very Satisfied).

Abstract

Tingkat Komponen Dalam Negeri (TKDN) adalah instrumen kebijakan yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan penggunaan komponen lokal dalam proses produksi suatu barang atau jasa. Implementasi dan pemenuhan TKDN dalam industri kecil (IK) khususnya di industri kreatif menghadapi tantangan tersendiri. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur kesiapan pemenuhan TKDN-IK untuk menjadi mitra pemerintah dalam pengadaan barang dan jasa. Penelitian ini mengevaluasi empat variabel: bahan/ material, tenaga kerja, biaya tidak langsung pabrik, dan biaya pengembangan. Responden dalam penelitian adalah pelaku usaha di industri kreatif pada bidang usaha fesyen, kuliner, dan kerajinan di DI Yogyakarta, dengan penarikan sampel secara purposive sampling. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui studi pustaka, studi lapangan, observasi, dokumentasi, serta FGD. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemenuhan TKDN-IK di sektor fesyen, kuliner, dan kerajinan sudah cukup baik pada beberapa aspek, seperti penggunaan bahan baku lokal dan pengelolaan biaya operasional. Namun, aspek-aspek seperti penyediaan bahan lokal, pelatihan tenaga kerja, keselamatan kerja, serta sertifikasi masih menjadi tantangan yang perlu diperbaiki. Kendala utama yang dihadapi adalah kurangnya informasi, proses administrasi yang rumit, serta persepsi. Untuk mendukung pemenuhan TKDN-IK, diperlukan upaya lebih lanjut dari pemerintah dalam hal sosialisasi, pendampingan, serta penyederhanaan prosedur sertifikasi.

Abstract

Information Systems (IS) and Industrial Resource Planning (IRP) play a critical role in the optimization and management of industrial operations in today's fast-paced and technology-driven environment. Information Systems encompass a range of technologies and practices designed to collect, store, process, and distribute information within an organization, facilitating decision-making and process automation. Industrial Resource Planning, on the other hand, is an integrated approach to managing the resources required in manufacturing processes, including raw materials, human resources, machinery, and financial assets. The primary objective of IRP is to ensure that industrial operations are carried out efficiently and cost-effectively, with minimal waste and maximum productivity. The integration of IS and IRP allows organizations to better track resources, improve production schedules, and enhance supply chain management. By utilizing data analytics and advanced information technologies, companies can predict demand fluctuations, optimize inventory management, and reduce downtime. Furthermore, IS and IRP systems often incorporate real-time monitoring tools, enabling managers to make informed decisions based on up-to-date information about the production process. This leads to improved overall performance and the ability to respond to challenges quickly and effectively. An essential component of IRP is its ability to forecast and plan for future resource needs based on historical data and industry trends. By leveraging IS tools, such as enterprise resource planning (ERP) software, manufacturers can automate their resource allocation and streamline production processes. The alignment of IS and IRP contributes to achieving sustainability goals, as resource utilization can be carefully monitored and adjusted to minimize environmental impact. As industries continue to evolve with the advent of Industry 4.0 technologies, the role of IS and IRP systems will only grow in significance, shaping the future of manufacturing and industrial operations. The paper highlights the importance of these systems in modern industrial settings and explores their impact on operational efficiency, resource management, and strategic decision-making..

Abstract

Program Kawan Tani merupakan sebuah inisiatif pemberdayaan masyarakat desa yang berfokus pada peningkatan kapasitas petani melalui pendekatan pertanian berkelanjutan dan pengembangan agropreneurship. Desa Wirokerten, Kecamatan Banguntapan, Kabupaten Bantul, Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta, dipilih sebagai lokasi implementasi program karena mayoritas warganya masih bergantung pada sektor pertanian dengan tantangan utama berupa keterbatasan akses pasar, rendahnya inovasi pengolahan hasil tani, serta praktik budidaya yang belum sepenuhnya ramah lingkungan. Melalui model kemitraan, program ini berupaya mempertemukan petani, akademisi, pemerintah, dan sektor swasta dalam sebuah ekosistem kolaboratif yang menekankan prinsip triple helix. Strategi yang digunakan meliputi pelatihan teknik pertanian organik, manajemen rantai pasok, pengolahan produk bernilai tambah, serta penguatan literasi keuangan dan pemasaran digital berbasis media sosial. Selain itu, pendampingan intensif diberikan untuk membentuk kelompok agropreneur muda desa yang mampu mengelola usaha tani secara profesional dengan orientasi keberlanjutan. Hasil awal menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kesadaran petani terhadap pentingnya menjaga kesuburan tanah, penggunaan pupuk organik, serta diversifikasi produk menjadi olahan pangan siap jual. Dari sisi ekonomi, tercatat kenaikan rata-rata pendapatan sebesar 15–20% setelah penerapan strategi pemasaran kolektif dan penjualan daring. Dampak sosial juga terlihat dari terbentuknya jaringan koperasi tani yang berfungsi sebagai pusat distribusi dan negosiasi harga. Program Kawan Tani membuktikan bahwa pemberdayaan berbasis kemitraan dan agropreneurship tidak hanya mampu meningkatkan kesejahteraan petani, tetapi juga memperkuat kemandirian desa sekaligus mendukung agenda pembangunan pertanian berkelanjutan di tingkat lokal. Dengan model ini, Desa Wirokerten diharapkan menjadi contoh praktik baik (best practice) bagi desa lain di wilayah Bantul dan Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta
