Abstract

Abstract: Examination of blood creatinine levels is one of the parameters used to assess renalfunction, since serum and urinary excretion concentrations within 24 hours are relatively constant.However, in another clinical guideline, there is a type of examination that is more recommended inmost patients with the risk of kidney failure, urine albumin test. In the event of renal dysfunction,the ability of creatinine filtration will decrease and serum creatinine will increase as well as somesubstances that should not exist in the urine, such as albumin, to appear. Reduced albumin excretion in the urine may be able to slow the rate of renal failure and help to delay the body’s need forkidney or dialysis transplantation. This cross-sectional study aims to analyze the relationship between serum creatinine and albuminuria in patients with kidney disease. Serum creatinine levelexamination by Jaffe method and urine albumin examination were qualitatively performed on therespondents who met the inclusion criteria. A total of 92 data were then analyzed by Chi-squarewith α<0,05. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant relationship betweenserum creatinine and albuminuria levels in patients with general kidney disease (p = 0.000, r =0.728), and in male patients (p = 0.000, r = 0.736) and females (p = 0,000; r = 0.686) with theage level 41-50 years. There is no relationship between serum creatinine and albuminuria in maleand female patients at the age of 20-30 years and 31–40 years.

Abstract

Kerupuk kerang belum dipasarkan secara luas padahal rasanya enak dan mempunyai nilai gizi yang tinggi sehingga berpotensi untuk dikembangkan. Di desa Pepe Kec. Sedati, Kab. Sidoarjo ada pembuat kerupuk kerang. Di desa Pepe juga ada penjual kerang darah bercangkang dan kerang darah kupas serta banyak buruh pengupas kerang darah. Kegiatan IbM ini bertujuan meningkatkan pendapatan pembuat kerupuk kerang di desa Pepe. Permasalahan yang dialami oleh pembuat kerupuk kerang adalah 1. Kemampuan dan pengetahuan pembuat kerupuk kerang terbatas dalam hal: (a) Kerupuk diuleni menggunakan bak plastik yang tidak tahan panas, saat adonan di uleni dengan kaldu kerang panas maka adonan dapat tercemar bahan kimia dari plastik. (b) Kerang yang digunakan tanpa di cuci dan tidak di buang kotorannya. (c) Pembuat kerupuk kerang kurang kreatif dan kurang inovatif (d) Pengetahuan dan kemampuan cara pengemasan kerupuk kerang kurang, (e) Pengetahuan tentang hygienitas kerupuk kurang karena penjemuran kerupuk dilakukan di pinggir jalan 2. Pengetahuan tentang strategi pemasaran kurang, 3. Penjemuran yang hanya mengandalkan sinar matahari menyebabkan pada saat hujan tidak memproduksi kerupuk sehingga penghasilannya tidak ajeg (tidak rutin). 4. Produksi terbatas karena terbatasnya fasilitas pendukung proses 5.Bentuk kerupuk kerang tidak menarik karena kerupuk dicetak menggunakan tangan 6. Ketebalan kerupuk kerang tidak rata karena di iris secara manual. 7. Kerupuk di uleni dengan tangan, sehingga adonan tidak tercampur rata. Penyelesaian Permasalahan Mitra dengan cara mengembangkan usaha pembuat kerupuk kerang lebih meningkat produksinya dan menjadikan kerupuk kerang sehat dan bergizi. Hal ini ditempuh dengan langkah langkah:1.memberi pendampingan tentang cara pemilihan bahan kerang yang baik. 2.Melakukan pelatihan dan pendampingan pembuatan kerupuk kerang yang dicampur aneka sayuran untuk meningkatkan nilai gizi kerupuk kerang.3. Melakukan pendampingan pembuatan kerupuk kerang yang hygienis. 4.Melakukan pendampingan cara pengemasan yang baik.5.Melakukan pendampingan tata cara mendaftarkan produk guna memperoleh nomor Produksi Industri Rumah Tangga (PIRT) dari Departemen Kesehatan (DEPKES). 6. Pelatihan dan Pendampingan dalam mengembangkan strategi pemasaran.7. Memberikan fasilitas pendukung produksi berupa:Mesin pengaduk adonan, Alat pencetak kerupuk kerang berbahan stainles steel, Mesin perajang kerupuk kerang. Luaran Produk Kerupuk Kerang asli dalam kemasan yang baik dan beratribut serta telah memperoleh nomor PIRT dari DEPKES. 2.Produk Kerupuk kerang dengan penambahan wortel dalam kemasan yang baik dan beratribut. Teknologi tepat guna mesin adonan, perajang kerupuk, alat pencetak Hasil Kegiatan Pengabdian yang telah dilakukan adalah melakukan pendampingan pemilihan bahan baku yaitu kerang yang berkualitas. 2.pendampingan pembuatan kerupuk kerang yang hygienis, 3. Melakukan pendampingan cara memperoleh PIRT. 4. Memberikan alat pencetak kerupuk. 5. Memberikan alat pengaduk kerupuk.

Abstract

Seeds of papaya (Carica Papaya L.) and leaves of neem (Azadirachta indica A. Juss) is an herbal plant. In papaya seeds contain of alkaloids, Papain, tannins, saponins, Triterpenoid, Flavonoids. On the part of Neem leaves contain tannins, Saponins, Triterpenoid, Flavonoids. These compounds are compounds that function as antifertility for men. This has led the authors to conduct research on the effect of seed extract of papaya (Carica Papaya L.) and the leaf extract of neem (Azadirachta indica A. Juss) on the quality of spermatozoa of mice (Mus muscullus). The Samples were as many as 21 mice sperm tails with a weight of 20-30 grams, 2-3 months old. Mice divided in the 3 groups, each group was divided 7 treatments. The treatment given is control, papaya seed extract, neem leaf extract and a combination of both papaya seed extract and neem leaves with a concentration of 0 mg/kg bw, 50 mg/kg bw and 100 mg/kg bw 50:50 mg/kg bw, 100: 100 mg/kg bw. 35 days for extract. On day 37 mice in surgery for cauda epididymis were taken for observation of the quality of spermatozoa of mice. This study was an experimental study using randomized block design (RAK). The Observation of the quality of spermatozoa includes motility, viability, and morphology of spermatozoa concentration by using a microscope. Data were analyzed by analysis of variance (ANOVA) One Way. The results of this study showed that there is effect of papaya seed extract and neem leaf extract and a combination of both papaya seed extract and neem leaf on motility (P <0.05), viability (P <0.05), morphology (P <0.05) and sperm concentration (P <0.05). The results of this study concluded that neem leaf extract at a concentration of 100 mg/kg bw is the optimal treatment in reducing the viability of spermatozoa of mice. Extracts combination of papaya seeds and leaves of neem with a concentration of 100 mg/kg bw is the optimal treatment in reducing the motility and concentration of spermatozoa of mice. Papaya seed extract at a concentration of 100 mg/kg bw optimal in reducing the number of normal sperm in mice. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan pengaruh ekstrak biji pepaya (Caricapapaya L), ekstrak daun mimba (Azadiracta indica A, Juss) serta campuran ekstrak biji pepaya dan daun mimba terhadap gambaran histologi ginjal dan hati mencit jantan (Mus musculus L).Sejumlah 21 ekor menit dibagi menjadi 7 kelompok. Kelompok kontrol diberi aqudest secara per oral, kelompok ekstrak biji pepaya (dosis 50, 100 mg/kg bb), kelompok ekstrak daun mimba (dosis 50, 100 mg.kg bb) dan kelompok campuran ekstrak biji pepaya danekstrakdaunmimba (dosis 50,100 mg/kg bb). Pada hari ke 36 dilakukan pembedahan dan dilakukan pemeriksaan histopatologi pada organ ginjal dan hati. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya kerusakan histologi hati berupa oedema, kongesti, hemoragi, degenerasi, sedangkan pada ginjal menuunjukkan adanya kerusakan yaitu degenerasi tubulus proksimal, degenerasi tubulus distal, dan perdarahan interstinal. Abstract

Red Ginger (Zingiberaceae officinale rosc) is known to be used as an anti-microbial andenhancing the quality of spermatozoa. This study aims to demonstrate of the red ginger extract(Zingiberaceae officinale rosc)potential as an antimicrobial and the quality enhancer of spermatozoain laboratory rats injected by Staphylococcus aureus to its urethra. The red ginger was extracted byethanol. The sample of this research was the spermatozoa of 30 mice that were injected byStaphylococcus aureus to its urethra. Potential test of red ginger extract on the laboratory ratsconducted by observing the spermatozoa’s motility, viability, morphology, the spermatozoa’sconcentration and the amount of spermatozoa leukocyte in the laboratory rats after the administrationof the red ginger extract for 35 days under the microscope. Antimicrobial activity test onStaphylococcus aureus was done by culturing the spermatozoa of laboratory rats (in vivo) afteradministering the red ginger extract for 35 days with total plate count method. The result of the studyshowed that there were differences between negative control group of laboratory rats and positivecontrol group of laboratory rats (laboratory rats injected with Staphylococcus aureus intra urethra)motility (p = 0.000), viability (p = 0.000), morphology (p = 0.000), concentration (p = 0.000), and theamount of leukocyte (p = 0.000). Whereas on the calculation of red ginger extract bacterial coloniesgive the significant effects p <0.05 on the growth of S. aureus. Based on the results of this study, it canbe conclude that the red ginger has potential as an antimicrobial and it also can improve the quality ofspermatozoa in laboratory rats infected with S. aureus through its urethra.

Abstract

Tithonia diversifolia and allium sativum are believed by the community to lower blood sugar levels. Research on safety test of Tifonia diversifolia extract and Allium sativum to histology of liver and kidney has not been done. The purpose of this research was to find out the effect of trimonic diversifolia extract extract and Allium extract as well as the extract and the second leaf mixture to histology structure of kidney and liver of mice with diabetes.This study was an experimental study in 45 mice sampled in divided into 11 groups of control groups extract tithonia diversifolia 50 mg / kg bb ,100 mg / kgbb and 150 mg / kg bb. As well as Alium sativum extract 50 mg / kg bb 100 mg / kgbb and 150 mg / kg bb and mixed extract of tithonia diversfolia and Allium sativum C2 25:25 mg / kgbb, C3 50:50 mg / kg bb And 75:75 mg / kg bb. And administration of chlamydial gliben. The extract was administered for 35 days, after which surgery and preparation of histology of kidney and liver of mice Furthermore, the result he analyzed using spss Anova one way and descriptive analysis The results of this study showed no significant differences in the control group (P = 1,000), Treatment of Tithonia diversifolia extract Dose 50mg / kgbb (P = 1.00), dose 100mg / kgbb (P = 1.00), dose 100mg / kgbb (P = 1.00) Dose 150m / kgbb (P = 1.00) Kgbb (P = 1.00) and mixed dosage 25: 25mg / kgbb (0.111) but significant with 50:50 mixed significantly differentiated doiss treatments (P = 0.003) and C4 mixture extract (0.000) on liver histology On histology of the liver. While on the histology of the kidney,perlakuan Ekstrak Tithonia diversifolia dosis 50mg/kgbb,dosis 100 mg/kgbb,150mg/kgbb serta perlakuan esktrak Allium sativum dosis 50mg/kgbb,dosis 100 mg/kgbb150mg / kgbb also extracts Tithonia diversifolia mixture and Allium sativum extract dose 25:25 mg / kgbb 50:50 dose and 75:75 does not affectthe histology of renal mice Conclusion: There is a mild hemorrhage to the liver in all treatments of tithonia extract, Allium sativum, or mixture. Abstract

Temulawak putih (Curcuma zedoaria Rosc) dan daun sirih merah (Piper crocatum) merupakantanaman yang diduga memiliki aktivitas sebagai antifertilitas dalam hal mempengaruhi kualitassperma. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh tanaman temulawak putih (Curcumazedoaria Rosc) dan daun sirih merah (Piper crocatum) terhadap kualitas sperma serta mengetahuidosis dari ekstrak etanol temulawak putih (Curcuma zedoaria Rosc) dan daun sirih merah (Pipercrocatum) yang dapat mempengaruhi kualitas sperma pada hewan coba mencit (Mus musculus L.).Mencit dikelompokkan menjadi 4 kelompok perlakuan yaitu kontrol, 50 mg/mg BB, 100mg/mg BB,150mg/mg BB. Diberi perlakuan selama 35 hari dengan tiga kali ulangan. Mencit dibedah dandiambil semen pada bagian vas deferens lalu diamati pergerakan sperma dibawah mikroskop.Hasil menunjukkan bahwa ekstrak etanol temulawak putih (Curcuma zedoaria Rosc) dan daunsirih merah (Piper crocatum) memiliki aktivitas mempengaruhi kualitas sperma pada dosis diatas50 kg/mg BB yang berdasarkan data analisis statistik memperlihatkan perbedaan yang signifikansidengan kontrol negatif

Abstract

Objective of KKN-PPM is to overcome the problems encountered in the village Cakringturi that the low incomes, lack of knowledge and understanding of environmental management, especially land yard. The solution to solve the problem is to empower rural communities through land use courtyard with technology integration system of livestock, crops and fish and provide food processing technology skills.Methods: Counseling, Mentoring, Training. Result: K1 program: Land yard citizens have been utilized, Product Probiofish, Aquaponics, Raising catfish in the pond Bis, The Carambola Fruit Cultivation along the river, Product instant and syrup TOGA, Vertikultur. K2 program: Competition Fun Cake in early childhood, Competition Beuty and Hijab Class, Teaching in Early Childhood Educatio. K3 Program : : Tutoring for elementary school children, Work with the community service, Yasinan, tahlilan, & diba'an, Assist Posyandu services. Distribution of poor rice, Visits to polindes,, Decorating in early childhood classrooms, Coordination with Karangtaruna, A visit to the village, Assist village. Conclusion: The entire planning of the program, both the main program, additional, or auxiliary implemented very well and smoothly by all students of KKN PPM 2015. Society and village and community leaders strongly support KKN PPM program and community empowerment have been successfully carried out. Abstract

The desire of the Sumber Rejeki catfish farmer group to do their own hatchery, but often failures, this causes low income and is not continuous. In addition, the groups of farmers also want to increase their knowledge and skills related to the procedures for spawning catfish naturally and semi-naturally until catfish seeds are ready for sale. The aim of training and mentoring is to find a breakthrough solution for easy-to-use technology to spur gonad maturation, accelerate spawning and mass production of seeds in a continuous and continuous manner with laserpuncture induction technology. Measuring the success of training and mentoring participants can operate the laserpuncture unit correctly, can determine the location of the reproductive acupoint correctly and can induce male and female catfish parents with laserpuncture technology correctly and the catfish parent induced by laserpuncture can mature gonads, quickly spawning and producing catfish seeds in bulk and continuously that are ready for sale.

Abstract

Abstrak Spirulina adalah sianobakterium multiseluler, walaupun mirip dengan bakteri tetapi Spirulina mempunyai mekanisme fotosintesis yang mirip dengan yang ditemukan pada tanaman. Spirulina merupakan mikroalga sel tunggal yang hidup di air dan berkembang biak dengan cara membelah diri ini dikenal sebagai sumber nutrisi nabati terlengkap yang kaya akan asam amino esensial, vitamin, mineral dan karotenoid (Sitorus, 2015). Kandungan nutrisi Spirulina yang lengkap mengakibatkan Spirulina semakin banyak digunakan untuk kebutuhan manusia baik dalam bidang pangan maupun kecantikan. Pelatihan pembuatan sabun padat transparan Spirulina bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan ketrampilan kepada siswa SMA/SMK di Surabaya dan Sidoarjo tentang pengaplikasian ilmu dan teknologi dalam menghasilkan sabun padat transparan untuk membersihkan dan menyehatkan kulit wajah. Bahan yang digunakan adalah Chip soap 450 g, Lexaine C 0,06 g, Carbowax liquid 0,03 g, Propilen glikol 0,03 g, Fixolite 12 g, Spirulina 9 g, Alkohol 96 % 30 ml, parfum. Hasil pelatihan ini memberikan informasi tentang penggunaan Spirulina untuk pembuatan sabun padat transparan dan mempraktekkan secara langsung pembuatan sabun padat transparan, sehingga diharapkan dapat menumbuhkan jiwa entrepreneur siswa. Kata kunci: sabun padat transparan, kulit wajah, Spirulina Abstract Spirulina is a multicellular cyanobacterium, although similar to bacteria, but Spirulina has a photosynthesis mechanism that is similar to those of plants. Spirulina is a single cell microalga that lives in the water and reproduce by dividing itself. Spirulina is known as the most complete source of vegetable nutrition because it’s rich of essential amino acid, vitamin, mineral, and carotenoids (Sitorus, 2015). The complete nutrition in Spirulina makes it more widely known and used to fulfill the human needs, both in the fields of food and beauty. The training of making Spirulina transparent solid soap aims to provide knowledge and skills to students of high school and vocational school in Surabaya and Sidoarjo regarding the application of science and technology in producing transparent solid soap to cleanse and nourish the facial skin. The ingredients used are Chip soap 450 g, Lexaine C 0,06 g, Carbowax liquid 0,03 g, Propilen glikol 0,03 g, Fixolite 12 g, Spirulina 9 g, Alcohol 96% 30 ml, and Perfume. The purpose of this study is to give information and direct practice about the use of Spirulina to make transparent solid soap, so this training is expected to grow the entrepreneurial sense of the students.
