Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui peningkatan prestasi belajar siswa yang diajar dengan metode pembelajaran kooperatif pada mata pelajaran Kelistrikan mesin dan Konversi Energi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Subjek  penelitian ini adalah siswa jurusan teknik mesin kelas X berjumlah 32 siswa. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan tes tertulis. Data dianalisis menggunakan deskritif kuantitatif.         Hasil penelitian ini adalah metode diterapkan dengan membuat kelas menjadi berjumlah 16 siswa. Siswa  dituntut untuk belajar berbicara, guru menunjuk seorang siswa untuk menerangkan sebuah materi, materi ditentukan dan diambilakan dari slide media pembelajaran. Siswa menerangkan kepada teman satu kelasnya, jika  penjelasan siswa belum bisa dipahami oleh seluruh siswa, guru menjelaskan hingga materi dapat dipahami. Semua siswa akan mendapat kesempatan maju kedepan menjelaskan materi. Siklus I ada peningkatan prestasi belajar siswa sebesar 8,89 %. Siklus II, ada peningkatan prestasi belajar siswa sebesar 2,92%. Siklus III ada peningkatan prestasi belajar siswa sebanyak  4,46 %.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) persepsi karyawan subag pendidikan atau subag akademik terhadap implementasi ISO 9001:2008 di UNY dan (2) faktor peng-hambat dan usaha-usaha yang dilakukan dalam implementasi ISO 9001:2008 bidang mutu layanan administrasi akademik di UNY. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Oktober sampai dengan Desember 2012 di UNY. Sampel sejumlah 96 karyawan ditentukan menggunakan teknik Proportional Stratified Random Sampling. Sampel mahasiswa berjumlah 105 ditentukan dengan teknik simple random sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket dan dianalisis dengan teknik deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara keseluruhan skor persepsi karyawan subag pendidikan dalam implementasi delapan prinsip ISO tersebut di tingkat UNY adalah 17.438 atau 78,98% dan termasuk kategori baik, sedang-kan skor persepsi mahasiswa 11.104 atau 68,23% serta berkategori baik. Faktor penghambat terletak pada kebijakan pimpinan fakultas, ketersediaan dana, SDM, keterbatasan sarana dan prasarana, SIM dan SOP layanan administrasi. Solusi yang dilakukan adalah mempererat koordinasi dan komunikasi dengan pimpinan, perawatan rutin sarana dan prasarana dan berpedoman pada buku panduan dan peraturan yang ada. Abstract

This research aims to explore and describe a policy made by the government, specifically the policy related to distance learning during the Corona virus epidemic. The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach. Data collected were interviews with school principals, Indonesian language teachers, and observations in five classes, as well as distributing questionnaires with school principals, homeroom teachers, Indonesian language teachers, student guardians, and the students. Interview data were analyzed using "within case and cross-case analysis" between informants. The data obtained is processed into a database and made in the form of files to facilitate data processing. The results showed that SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Prambanan has implemented most of the distance learning policies instructed by the government through SE No. 4 of 2020. The learning responsibilities given to students are not burdensome in terms of materials, facilities, and infrastructures. The learning taught includes life skills during corona virus epidemic. The learning methods and the learning process are implemented in accordance with students' conditions. The feedback given by the teacher is still in the form of points and not in accordance with government instructions. The Indonesian language learning is carried out in accordance with government instructions.

Abstract

A career developed through the optimization of one’s potentials will irrevocably play a role in the development of self-identity as well as the psychological well-being of the individual. When children are introduced and allowed to explore as many career options as possible during their developmental stage, they are more likely to have a fruitful career development in the future. The preceding study showed that the career interests and knowledge of lower-grade primary students fit the Holland Career Categories: realistic, investigative, artistic, social, enterprising, and conventional (RIASEC). It was also found that the students’ career interest and knowledge levels varied, with most in the low level. This second-year study aims to expand the results of the previous study by developing the use of Quartet cards as the media of career exploration for lower-grade primary students. By using the research and development method, this study develops Quartet Career Cards into three difficulty levels: low, medium, and high. The Quartet cards media have undergone feasibility tests conducted by experts in theory and media, as well as a series of field testing consisting of preliminary, main, and operational stages among a total of 266 primary students of grades 1, 2, and 3. A revision was made on several components including the images, information, colors, font sizes, illustration styles, and card sizes. The findings show that Quartet Career Cards meet the feasibility standards for the media of career exploration

Abstract

Indonesian government has regulated that the basic age of readiness of a child to attend elementary schools is 7 years old. In fact, some children are not exactly 7 years old when they first go to school because they develop more rapidly. This study is aimed at investigating some aspects of child development which affect their readiness to attend elementary school. The subjects were 101 grade 1, 2, and 3 teachers of elementary schools in Yogyakarta, a special Region in Indonesia. The data were collected through interviews. The results of the data collection were analyzed using both descriptive quantitative and qualitative techniques. The results of the study show some aspects of child development affecting their readiness to attend elementary schools, including cognitive and language ability, social emotional skills, fine motor skills, gross motor skills, arts, religion and moral values, and some others. Beside these aspects, some problems in grades 1, 2, and 3 are also found. This study is expected to give significant indicators to create the construct of school readiness.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pemahaman Guru Bimbingan dan Konseling dalam melaksanakan peminatan siswa SMA. Khalayak sasaran dari kegiatan ini adalah Guru Bimbingan dan Konseling SMA dengan jumlah 23 Guru Bimbingan dan Konseling. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif. Kegiatan pelatihan ini menggunakan teknik penugasan mandiri yang diawali dengan seminar dan diskusi tentang peminatan, penyusunan rencana layanan peminatan, praktik memberikan layanan peminatan dan diakhiri dengan case conference hasil peminatan berdasarkan model peminatan Siswa SMA. Alat ukur yang digunakan untuk mengetahui keefektifan teknik tersebut adalah dengan skala penilaian pelatihan peminatan Siswa SMA yang digunakan pretes dan post test. Hasil pelaksanaan kegiatan pelatihan peminatan  Siswa SMA bagi Guru BK  SMA menunjukkan peningkatan yang dilihat dari rata-rata skor pre-test sebesar 17,48 dan skor rata-rata post test sebesar 27,00 Dengan demikian terdapat peningkatan 9,53 poin. Berdasarkan hal tersebut dapat dikatakan pelatihan aplikasi model peminatan dapat meningkatkan pemahaman mengenai layanan peminatan Siswa SMA.

Abstract

The objectives of this research are to know the effect of productive learning, social situation, economic situation, and creativity towards the interest in entrepreneurship for students of class XII of Clothing Vocational Schools in Yogyakarta in 2018/2019. The method in this study is a correlational method with a quantitative approach. The population of this study were students of class XII of the Clothing Vocational School in Yogyakarta City, totaling 265 students. The number of research samples is 152 students with a sampling technique of proportional random sampling. Data collection techniques were questionnaires and documentation. The results of this study show that the learning outcomes of productive, social situation, economic situation, and creativity subjects affect the interest in entrepreneurship for the SMK students in the city of Yogyakarta.

Abstract

This research is about the reading skills of the grade I students and the method is classroom action research by doing classroom study using lift the flap book media. The purpose of the research is to improve the reading skills of the grade I students of SD Negeri Puren Depok Sleman using the lift the flap book media.  Learning to read in grade I SD Negeri Puren is still not in accordance with the expected results.  Evidenced by the results of reading skills, there are still many who have not reached the complete score. The results showed that the use of lift the flap book media can improve student’s reading skills.  This can be seen from the increase in the learning process on each indicator of reading ability.  Students are increasingly interested in learning, and teachers have used other media besides books from school.  The process of learning to read has increased, namely that the average score increase from cycle 1 the score is 76 and in cycle 2 the score is 83. Students whose average scores are above the average increase from cycle 1 by 46.4% and cycle 2 as much as 85%.Penelitian yang dilakukan ini tentang kemampuan membaca siswa kelas 1, dan metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (classroom action research) dengan melakukan pembelajaran didalam kelas menggunakan media lift the flap book. Tujuan penelitian adalah kemampuan membaca siswa kelas 1 SD Negeri Puren Depok meningkat dengan menggunakan bantuan media lift the flap book. Kegiatan belajar mengajar membaca di SD Negeri Puren kelas I hasilnya masih belum sesuai dengan yang diharapkan. Terbukti dengan kemampuan membaca masih banyak yang yang nilainya belum sesuai yang diharapkan. Hasil penelitian kemampuan membaca meningkat setelah menggunakan media lift the flap book hal ini dapat diketahui meningkatnya pada proses pembelajaran pada setiap indikator kemampuan membaca. Siswa semakin tertarik mengikuti pembelajaran, dan guru sudah menggunakan media lain selain buku dari sekolah. Proses pembelajaran membaca mengalami peningkatan yaitu nilai rata-rata meningkat dari siklus 1 nilainya 76 dan siklus 2 nilainya 83. Siswa yang nilainya diatas rata-rata meningkat dari siklus 1 sebanyak 46,4% dan siklus 2 sebanyak 85%.
