Abstract

Cultural and civic literacy is part of the national literacy movement launched by the Ministry of Education and Culture in Indonesia. This initiative seeks to equip all Indonesian citizens with the essential skills to navigate and respond to the increasing diversity of the 21st century. The Primary School Teacher Education (PGSD) study program at University Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo (UMSIDA) recognizes the importance of this goal. It provides material content for learning about cultural and civic issues. Based on this, it is essential to conduct research on the cultural literacy and citizenship abilities of PGSD students at Universitas Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo in the 21st century to know the cultural literacy and citizenship abilities of students and provide references to further learning activities in developing cultural literacy and citizenship in PGSD students. The research was conducted in the 2021/2022 academic year, which is between February 2022 and June 2022. This research employed a descriptive study using the survey method with a sample of 136 semester II students who have taken civics courses. Data collection techniques were in the form of questionnaires and data analysis techniques using percentage techniques. The study results showed that the percentage shows 68.4%, namely, out of 136 students, 93 students have a relatively high range of scores in digital literacy skills and citizenship.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini dilakukan yaitu untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe make a match Terhadap Motivasi Belajar Siswa Kelas V Pada mata Pelajaran PKN Di SD Candipari 1 Porong, terdapat permasalahan rendahnya motivasi belajar siswa pada pelajaran PKN. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian eksperimen. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode pre-experimental design dengan one group pretest-postest. Penelitian ini menggunakan tes yang diawali dengan sebelum pembelajaran dimulai dan sesudah pembelajaran diberikan. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan soal test dan observasi sebanyak 14 siswa. Adapun Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji Wilcoxon dengan bantuam program SPSS. Hasil penelitian dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe make a macth yaitu menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif berpengaruh terhadap motivasi belajar siswa kelas V pada pembelajaran PKN, sehingga hipotesis diterima. Diketahui bahwa aspek pengetahuan, sikap, keterampilan, spiritual sangat berdampak pada motivasi siswa. Hal ini menunjukkan bagaimana pembelajaran PKN yang dipadukan dengan pendekatan pembelajaran make a match dapat meningkatkan motivasi siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan pendekatan pembelajaran kooperatif ragam make a match berpengaruh signifikan terhadap motivasi belajar siswa kelas V SD Candipari 1 Porong.

Abstract

Proyek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila merupakan salah satu karakteristik dari kurikulum Merdeka. Pelaksanaan proyek penguatan profil pelajar Pancasila diharapkan menjadikan peserta didik yang mencerminkan profil pelajar Pancasila. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan Proyek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pncasila (P5) dengan tema kewirausahaan di SDN Gedangan Kabupaten Sidoarjo. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu dengan melakukan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SDN Gedangan Kecamatan Gedangan Kabupaten Sidoarjo. Sumber data berasal dari 23 siswa dan guru kelas IV. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan Proyek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila dengan tema kewirausahaan di kelas IV SDN Gedangan dilaksanakan dengan baik dan memperoleh antusias tinggi dari peserta didik. Kegiatan P5 diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kerjasama antar peserta didik serta dapat menumbuhkan jiwa kewirausahaan seperti kreatif, inofatif, atau munculnya ide-ide baru dan dapat menciptaka produk yang memiliki nilai daya jual.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Pop-Up Book Media on PPKn Learning Outcomes of Class III Students at SDN Kesambi, in terms of the learning outcomes of class III students in PPKN subjects, namely there are problems with low student learning outcomes in learning. The research population is 37 students. This research method uses a quantitative experiment, the type of Pre-Experiment research, assisted by SPSS 26 software. The results show that to test the hypothesis and answer the problem formulation, the data analysis technique uses a paired t-test. This can be seen from the average value when given the Pop-Up Book Media treatment on the PPKn Learning Outcomes of Class III Students at SDN Kesambi. After testing the hypothesis using the Paired T-Test t test, the average pretest data is smaller than the average posttest data. Sig value is obtained. (2-tailed) is less than 0.05 and the eta value is more than 0.14, meaning that using Pop-Up Book Media affects the PPKn Learning Outcomes of Class III Students at SDN Kesambi. This means that there is an increase in student learning outcomes after applying the use of Pop-Up Book Media to the PPKn Learning Outcomes of Class III Students at SDN Kesambi.

Abstract

In the world of education, it is found that some students experience difficulties in understanding the concept of critical thinking and strategies for applying it in solving various problems. These limitations can affect the cognitive development and analytical skills of students. The research population is 28 students. This research method uses a quantitative experiment, the type of Pre-Experiment research, assisted by SPSS 26 software. The results show that to test the hypothesis and answer the problem formulation, the data analysis technique uses a paired t-test. Abstract

Professional ethics play a vital role in creating a harmonious learning environment, especially at the primary school level. This study aims to explore how primary school teachers balance academic demands with students' emotional needs in their daily practices. The research employs a qualitative approach using a case study method in three different primary schools. The data were collected through in-depth interviews, classroom observations, and analysis of supporting documents, such as lesson plans and interview recording with parents. The data were analyzed using data reduction, data presentation, conclusion drawing and verification, thematic analysis, data triangulation, and narrative analysis to delve deeper into teachers' personal stories and experiences. The findings indicate that the teachers had moral dilemmas in meeting the curriculum targets or in addressing students' emotional needs. Some teachers successfully integrated both through the flexible approaches, such as project-based learning that emphasized the collaboration and empathy. However, some challenges emerged, such as having time constraints, dealing with administrative workloads, and the lack of specialized training in professional ethics were identified.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan karakter gotong royong siswa melalui projek penguatan profil pelajar Pancasila (P5). Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini yaitu guru dan 6 siswa kelas IV SD Muhammadiyah 11 Randegan. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam kegiatan P5 terdapat siswa yang kurang memperhatikan dan tidak membantu ketika mengerjakan tugas kelompok. Banyak juga siswa yang bersemangat ketika pembelajaran karena melalui P5 mereka belajar hal baru yang sebelumnya belum pernah di dapatkan. Siswa yang melaksanakan P5 dengan baik akan membantu teman yang lainnya untuk tetap mengerjakan tugas kelompok bersama-sama sehingga siswa dapat mengetahui perannya dalam kelompok. Dalam P5 terdapat beberapa tahap yang harus dilaksanakan yaitu tahap pengenalan, kontekstualisasi, aksi, refleksi dan tindak lanjut. Pada tiap tahap dalam P5, siswa diajarkan pentingnya gotong royong antar sesama. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa adanya P5 dapat menjadi solusi untuk menguatkan karakter gotong royong siswa, karena dalam pelaksanaan P5 membutuhkan banyak kerja sama.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis persepsi peserta didik terhadap penggunaan platform Quizizz sebagai media evaluasi hasil belajar di lingkungan sekolah dasar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan pendekatan survei. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SDN Wonokasian 2 sebanyak 18 siswa dengan teknik purposive sampling. teknik pengumpulan datanya menggunakan kuesioner tertutup yang disusun dengan skala likert 5 poin. Teknik analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif dengan menghitung persentase, frekuensi, dan skor rata-rata dari kuesioner, kemudian dibandingkan dengan skor ideal untuk menentukan kategori persepsi peserta didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persepsi keseluruhan siswa terhadap penggunaan Quizizz berada pada kategori baik (72,22%). Pada indikator keaktifan dan motivasi belajar masing-masing memperoleh nilai 75,55% (baik), kepuasan 71,11% (baik), sedangkan kemudahan akses memperoleh skor 67,77% (cukup baik). Hasil ini mengindikasikan bahwa Quizizz efektif dalam meningkatkan partisipasi aktif dan menciptakan pengalaman belajar yang menyenangkan. Temuan ini mendorong pentingnya pemanfaatan teknologi serupa dalam evaluasi pembelajaran di sekolah dasar, dengan mempertimbangkan kesiapan infrastruktur jaringan serta pendampingan dalam penggunaan teknologi bagi siswa

Abstract

In the realm of education, the significance of teaching and learning is paramount, with teachers assuming a pivotal role in shaping successful educational outcomes. Learning, viewed as an ongoing lifelong process, is characterized by purposeful endeavors to cultivate individual potential and foster responsible citizenship. Civic education, marked by an emphasis on comprehensive comprehension and skill development, encounters persistent challenges such as the limitations of conventional lecture-based methods that impede effective learning. In response, this study developed a specialized learning module concentrating on two-variable linear equations, employing the ADDIE model. Employing a quantitative experimental research approach, data collection involved comprehensive methods including questionnaires, observations, interviews, and meticulous statistical analysis. The validation process underscored the module's pronounced practicality and engagement, further affirming its viability for implementation. The study's findings, presented earlier, deduced that the integration of the discovery learning model aided by the "bilik" cultural diversity image media significantly influences the learning outcomes of fourth-grade students studying civic education at SD Muhammadiyah 2 Waru. Notably, pretest results averaged at 68.25, while posttest scores displayed an average of 94.7. The t-test calculations confirmed a disparity in the averages, with pretest and posttest increments of 71.17 and 96.7, respectively. These outcomes substantiate the model's efficacy in elevating posttest scores beyond pretest levels, emphasizing its impact on learning outcomes. Consequently, this research offers valuable insights into advancing the effectiveness of civic education through innovative pedagogical strategies.

Abstract

Background: Character crisis in Indonesia, including moral degradation among students, highlights the urgency of strengthening religious character from an early age. Specific Background: SD Muhammadiyah 2 Krian implements a structured Quran memorization program to foster religious values in students. Gap: Limited studies explore how systematic memorization programs can comprehensively shape students’ character in elementary schools. Aim: This study aims to describe the implementation of the Tahfidz Quran program as a medium for religious character formation. Method: This phenomenological qualitative research collected data through observation, structured interviews, and documentation with triangulation of sources. Results: Findings show that students develop faith, discipline, responsibility, and tolerance through daily Quran memorization activities after dhuha prayer, supported by parental involvement and school culture. Novelty: This research highlights the integrated model of religious habituation that links school activities, parental support, and teacher guidance. Implications: The study provides practical insights for other schools seeking to implement similar programs for character development.
