Abstract

This study aims to describe the creativity of students in integrated learning at SDN Kemiri Sidoarjo in terms of creative thinking skills and one's attitudes and feelings. The subjects of this study were teachers and students in class V-A. This research was conducted from November to December 2019. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. Data collection data obtained by means of observation, interviews and documentation. So that the research results are as follows: 1) Student creativity in integrated learning or thematic learning at SDN Kemiri Sidoarjo can be viewed from two kinds, namely the ability to think creatively and one's attitudes and feelings. 2) Based on the results of the study, the creativity of class V-A students in thematic learning at SDN Kemiri Sidoarjo in terms of creative thinking skills is that students have fluent thinking skills, flexible or flexible thinking, detailing or elaborating and have skills in assessing. While the creativity of class V-A students in thematic learning at SDN Kemiri Sidoarjo in terms of one's attitudes and feelings is that students have imagination, feel challenged, risk-taking attitude and respect.

Abstract

This study aims to implement the punishment method to develop the disciplined character of elementary student. The research used participatory action research with 35 third-grade elementary school students. The data was collected using observation consisting of several cycles. Each cycle consists of initial reflection, planning and observation, and reflection. Data analysis was carried out by converting the percentage of success indicators of discipline character. The results of this action research can be seen from the achievement of indicators of the success of the discipline character as follows (1) the discipline character of the realm of obeying the rules in the first cycle was 65% (less) and increased in the second cycle by 79% (good). (2) the discipline character of the realm of responsibility towards oneself in the first cycle by 67% (less), increasing in the second cycle by 73% (good), and (3) the disciplined character in the realm of implementing regulations in the first cycle by 63% (less) increasing in the first 2nd cycle of 71% (good). Thus, it can be concluded that the application of punishment to elementary school students can improve their disciplined character.

Abstract

This research addresses the issue of passive student engagement and teacher-centered learning approaches in primary schools. To overcome these challenges, the study employs Microsoft PowerPoint as an instructional medium to enhance the learning experience. A Pre-Experimental Design research method is employed, conducted at SD Negeri Pejangkungan with thirty fourth-grade students as participants. Data collection involves the use of tests, and the obtained results are subjected to t-test analysis. The findings reveal a significant positive impact of utilizing Microsoft PowerPoint media on students' civics learning outcomes, as indicated by tcount (24.686) exceeding ttable (2.045). Additionally, eta squared analysis demonstrates a considerable influence of Microsoft PowerPoint media on learning outcomes (0.95>0.14). These results emphasize the potential of Microsoft PowerPoint as an effective tool to promote active learning and enhance students' academic achievements in various educational settings. Highlights: Active Engagement: This research explores the use of Microsoft PowerPoint as a means to promote active learning among elementary students, addressing the issue of passive student engagement in the classroom. Academic Improvement: The study investigates the impact of utilizing Microsoft PowerPoint on students' academic performance, specifically focusing on civics education, to determine the effectiveness of this instructional medium. Experimental Design: The research employs a Pre-Experimental Design methodology, conducted at SD Negeri Pejangkungan with fourth-grade students, to gather data through tests and analyze the outcomes using statistical measures such as t-tests and eta squared. Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of teachers during the learning process to form the independent character of Grade 1 students at SDN Pejangkungan Prambon. This study uses a qualitative approach phenomenology, where the background in the phenomenon or the fact that in Grade 1 SDN Pejangkungan Prambon there are students who experience problems related to independent character. In every learning process there are still many students who have not been able to do it themselves and still rely on teachers. Therefore, researchers want to examine whether there is a role of teachers during the learning process to form the independent character of students. For this study using trisngulasi technique is taken from observation data, interviews and documentation of teachers in Grade 1 SDN Pejangkungan. And from the results of research that researchers get that teachers play a good role as educators, teachers, and mentors in forming independent character student. Highlights: Teachers as Role Models: The study highlights the vital role of teachers in serving as positive role models for Grade 1 students, influencing their development of independent character. Fostering Autonomy: The research emphasizes the importance of the learning process in nurturing students' autonomy and self-reliance, with teachers playing a significant role in guiding and empowering them. Triangulation Approach: By utilizing triangulation techniques through observation data, interviews, and documentation, the study provides a comprehensive understanding of how teachers contribute to the formation of independent character in Grade 1 students at SDN Pejangkungan. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan Pendidikan karakter religius berbasis budaya sekolah di SD Islam Plus As-Syafi’iyah Tanggulangin Sidoarjo. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan menggunakan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Untuk analisis data yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan pengumpulan data (data collection), Reduksi Data (Data Reduction), Penyajian Data ( Data Display ), Penarikan Kesimpulan/Verifikasi (conclusions). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Pendidikan karakter religius berbasis budaya sekolah di SD Islam Plus As-Syafi’iyah Tanggulangin diintegrasikan dalam tiga jenis Pendidikan yaitu Pendidikan Intrakurikuler, Kokurikuler, dan Ekstrakurikuler. Dalam Pendidikan intrakurikuler diterapkan dengan menambah materi ajar pembelajaran PAI (Fiqih, Aqidah dan Bahasa Arab), penyusunan RPP serta memberikan pesan-pesan moral dan nilai-nilai religius pada setiap akhir pembelajaran. Dalam Pendidikan kokurikuler mengunakan praga, praktik dan media sebagai penunjang pembelajaran. Dan pada Pendidikan ektrakurikuler seperti drum band, pramuka, computer, kaligrafi, Qira’ah dan seni sholawat Al-banjari. Terdapat Pembelajaran Al-Qur’an dengan menggunakan metode pembelajaran Qira’ati sebagai menunjang program  tahfidz Qur’an. Budaya sekolah yang dimiliki yaitu 5S, sholat berjama’ah, shobahul Qur’an, berdo’a sebelum dan sesudah belajar, budaya membaca surah-surah pendek dalam juz 30, budaya membaca do’a–do’a harian, budaya membaca dan menulis Al-Qur’an, budaya infaq pada hari jum’at, budaya peringatan hari besar islam, budaya wisata religi.

Abstract

School management focuses on achieving educational goals and visions. In reality, the school's vision mission is not on needs but only used during accreditation. This happened at SDN Legokulon 1 Kasreman; most teachers did not understand school management enough to support the school's vision-mission. Numeracy-based and religious school management training is needed to support a quality school's mission. Training was held at SDN Legokulon 1 Kasreman on 18-19 February 2022. This activity used participatory rural appraisal for training and evaluation. Eight SDN Legokulon 1 Kasreman teachers attended this training. Based on evaluations, 87.5% of participants understood numeracy and religious-based school management. In addition, numeracy and religious-based school management are generally good. So, this training affects SDN Legokulon 1 Kasreman stakeholders' understanding of numeracy and religious-based school management to support the school's vision mission.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul "Pengaruh Model Value Clarification Technique (VCT) Berbantuan Media Puzzle Terhadap Hasil Belajar Pendidikan Pancasila Kelas IV Sekolah Dasar" dengan rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini yaitu adakah pengaruh model pembelajaran VCT terhadap hasil belajar pendidikan Pancasila kelas IV SDN Tawangrejo 2. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model Value Clarification Technique (VCT) berbantuan media puzzle terhadap hasil belajar pendidikan pancasila kelas IV sekolah dasar. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu kelas IV yang berjumlah 34 siswa. Metode penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian pre-eksperimental design dengan design penelitian one group pretest -post test. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan soal tet pretes dan postest. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji t sample paired t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh model pembelajaran VCT berbantuan media Puzzle terhadap hasil belajar pendidikan pancasila kelas IV sekolah dasar terbukti. Hal ini ditunjukkan hasil uji t dengan nilai sign (2-tailed) sebesar 0.000 < 0.05, maka katakan Ho ditolak sehingga Ha diterima dengan arti model VCT perbantuan media puzzle berpengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar pendidikan Pancasila kelas IV SD Tawangrejo 2 tahun pelajaran 2022/2023.

Abstract

This scientific article presents the results and implications of the "Kantin Kejujuran" community engagement program, aimed at cultivating entrepreneurial values among members of the Student Intra-School Organization (OSIS) in SMP YBPK Kota Kediri. The study utilized a three-stage methodological approach, beginning with the creation of a workplan to ensure the program's smooth execution without disrupting regular school activities. Subsequently, the program included a seminar on entrepreneurship specifically designed for OSIS members. Finally, a monitoring and evaluation process was conducted to assess the program's effectiveness. The results demonstrate a significant improvement in the entrepreneurship capabilities of OSIS members, as indicated by pretest and posttest data. Through practical involvement in the "Kantin Kejujuran," students engaged in activities such as planning, inventory management, and customer interaction, fostering their entrepreneurial skills, risk-taking, creativity, innovation, leadership, and responsibility. The program emphasized the importance of ethical conduct and social responsibility in business, offering students the opportunity to run a business with principles of honesty, fairness, and transparency. Beyond honing entrepreneurial skills, the program also enhanced students' independence, self-confidence, and interpersonal abilities. Encountering decision-making processes, challenges, and learning from mistakes promoted a positive attitude towards failure and resilience. Overall, this article highlights the effectiveness of the "Kantin Kejujuran" program in nurturing entrepreneurial spirit among OSIS members, with implications for educators and policymakers seeking to foster entrepreneurial development in schools worldwide. Highlight: Significant impact on OSIS members: The "Kantin Kejujuran" program effectively fosters entrepreneurial spirit among OSIS members at SMP YBPK Kota Kediri, demonstrated by significant improvements in their entrepreneurship capabilities from pretest to posttest. Practical business learning: Through the kiosk, students engage in practical business management, learning essential skills such as planning, inventory management, and customer interaction, while also developing qualities like risk-taking, creativity, innovation, leadership, and responsibility. Fostering positive attitudes: The program not only enhances entrepreneurial skills but also promotes positive attitudes towards failure, resilience, and decision-making, providing students with the confidence and independence to pursue their business ideas in the future. Abstract

This scientific article presents a community service activity aimed at addressing barriers to improving students' literacy and numeracy at SD Negeri Bulusari 1 Kec. Gempol, Kab. Pasuruan. The primary challenge faced by teachers was their limited knowledge in literacy and numeracy. To tackle this issue, a solution was implemented through literacy and numeracy material socialization. The study reveals that this socialization initiative significantly enhanced teachers' understanding of literacy and numeracy concepts and their ability to design engaging literacy and numeracy activities. The results highlight the potential of material socialization as a practical and effective strategy to empower educators and positively impact students' learning outcomes. Highlights: The study focuses on a community service activity that addresses the challenges of enhancing literacy and numeracy among students, particularly at SD Negeri Bulusari 1 Kec. Gempol, Kab. Pasuruan. A key aspect of the solution is the implementation of literacy and numeracy material socialization, which significantly improves educators' understanding of these subjects and their ability to design effective activities. Abstract

Education is an important aspect of preparing human resources as a means of national development. The success of education in improving human resources is not from teachers' role in developing student abilities. Professional teachers are required to have skills, skills in which pedagogic skills are one of the skills of a quality classroom teacher. One of the factors that affect the quality of teacher learning is the learning model. According to Robert Slavin, this study aims to describe the concept of the STAD type cooperative learning model and the relevance of the STAD type cooperative learning model to the process skills of elementary school students. The research method uses the method of literature study or literature study. The results showed that the concept of the STAD type cooperative learning model according to Slavin is a learning model carried out through small groups consisting of 4 to 5 students in a group or team, where each team or group consists of heterogeneous students (various types of different) such as gender, ability, ethnicity and race, and each group has a tutor as a student in carrying out group learning. Furthermore, the results show that its relevance to elementary school students' skills shows that the STAD type cooperative learning model (student team achievement division) can develop elementary school student process skills, where the discussion process carried out by students through quizzes involves students actively in higher-order thinking activities. It shows that the STAD cooperative learning model (student team achievement division) is very relevant for developing the skills of elementary school students
