Abstract

This study aims to assess how effective the implementation of digital-based public service applications is in the context of Makassar Smart City and its impact on public satisfaction. Digital services such as Rindu Capil, Smart RT/RW, Service Portal, and Call 112 are designed to improve the efficiency, access, and quality of public services in Makassar City. The method used in this study is qualitative descriptive with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation, as well as data analysis following the Miles and Huberman model. The results of the study indicate that the application of digital in public services facilitates access and increases efficiency. However, the effectiveness of its implementation still faces various challenges. Some of the main obstacles include the lack of adequate internet infrastructure, low comfort of using applications by the general public, slow response of institutions to complaints, and lack of socialization and understanding of digital in the community. In addition, it was revealed that there was a difference between what the system promised and the reality of services in the field. Support from the government through training programs, digital education, and the role of RT/RW heads are very important in encouraging the use of applications evenly and sustainably. This study reveals that success in digital transformation in the public service sector is not only determined by the availability of technology, but is also influenced by the readiness of human resources, the speed of institutional response, and cooperation between various levels of government and society. The findings of this study are expected to be the basis for policy recommendations for the Makassar City government in improving the digitalization strategy of public services towards a smarter, more inclusive, and participatory city.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas administrasi publik di tingkat RT dan RW melalui pelatihan penggunaan aplikasi Lontara di Kelurahan Biring Romang, Kota Makassar. Permasalahan yang dihadapi mitra adalah masih dominannya penggunaan sistem administrasi manual yang berdampak pada rendahnya efisiensi dan akurasi pelayanan publik. Metode pelaksanaan menggunakan pendekatan partisipatif, edukatif, dan sosial-religius yang diintegrasikan melalui kegiatan buka puasa dan berbagi. Tahapan kegiatan meliputi persiapan, pelaksanaan pelatihan, serta evaluasi. Pelatihan dilakukan melalui metode ceramah, demonstrasi, dan praktik langsung penggunaan aplikasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan peserta dalam mengelola administrasi berbasis digital, khususnya dalam pendataan warga dan pelayanan surat-menyurat. Selain itu, pendekatan sosial-religius terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan partisipasi dan keterlibatan masyarakat. Kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa integrasi antara pelatihan teknologi dan pendekatan sosial-kultural dapat menjadi strategi efektif dalam mendukung peningkatan kualitas pelayanan publik di tingkat lokal.

Abstract

Mangosteen peel is a rich source of xanthones and polyphenols with high antioxidant potential, but their efficient recovery requires extraction systems that are both effective and environmentally sustainable. In this study, ultrasound-assisted extraction (UAE) was combined with a hybrid green solvent consisting of natural deep eutectic solvents (NaDES), virgin coconut oil, and ethanol (VCO:EtOH = 1:1). A full 3 × 3 × 3 factorial design (27 runs) was used to evaluate the effects of NaDES concentration (30–50%), temperature (30–50 °C), and ultrasound amplitude (60–100%) on extraction yield and antioxidant activity measured by DPPH inhibition. Extraction kinetics were fitted using a nonlinear pseudo-second-order (PSO) model. The highest 60-min extraction yield was obtained at 50% NaDES, 50 °C, and 100% amplitude, reaching 26.2 ± 0.4% (n = 3), with DPPH inhibition of 94.4 ± 0.8% (n = 3). Under the same condition, the PSO model estimated an equilibrium yield (qₑ) of 26.78%, with an RMSE of 0.067. Across all treatments, RMSE values ranged from 0.011 to 0.688, and extraction yield generally approached a plateau within 45–60 min. Yield was strongly and positively correlated with antioxidant activity (r = 0.876; 95% CI: 0.79–0.93; p < 0.01). These findings show that integrating UAE, a NaDES-based hybrid solvent, and PSO kinetic modeling can improve extraction efficiency and antioxidant performance while providing a reproducible framework for mangosteen peel valorization in nutraceutical and functional-food applications.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia, khususnya pada materi Teks Argumentasi, yang disebabkan oleh penggunaan metode konvensional yang monoton. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis peningkatan hasil belajar siswa kelas XI SMAN 30 Bone melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) berbantuan media video animasi. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, mengikuti model Kemmis dan McTaggart. Subjek penelitian adalah 24 siswa kelas XI F2. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, tes hasil belajar (pretest dan posttest), serta dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan deskriptif komparatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan secara bertahap. Pada pra-tindakan, ketuntasan klasikal hanya 0% dengan rata-rata nilai 37,21. Pada Siklus I, setelah penerapan PBL berbantuan video animasi, ketuntasan meningkat menjadi 25% dengan rata-rata 65,50. Pada Siklus II, dengan perbaikan pada aspek pengelolaan kelas dan bimbingan intensif, ketuntasan mencapai 100% dengan rata-rata nilai 87,59. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa integrasi model PBL dengan video animasi efektif dalam meningkatkan keterlibatan kognitif siswa dan hasil belajar pada materi Bahasa Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of innovation, learning models, and instructional design in school practices through the experience of the School Environment Introduction Program (PLP). PLP serves as a medium for prospective teacher students to directly understand the learning process, classroom management, and the dynamics of the school environment. This study employed a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques conducted through observation, interviews, and documentation during the implementation of PLP at school. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of learning innovation was carried out through the utilization of digital media, project-based learning, as well as discussion and collaborative methods that were able to increase student participation. The learning models applied by teachers included cooperative learning, problem-based learning, and discovery learning, which were adjusted to students’ characteristics and learning objectives. In addition, systematic instructional design helped teachers create effective, interactive, and student-centered learning processes. The PLP experience also provided students with an understanding of the importance of creativity, adaptability, and pedagogical competence in facing learning challenges in the digital era. Thus, the implementation of innovation, learning models, and instructional design in school practices through PLP contributes to improving the quality of the learning process and the readiness of students as prospective professional educators.

Abstract

Yuniar S. 2026. The Effect of Smart TV as a Visual Learning Media on Students’ Learning Outcomes in Informatics Subject at Grade X of SMAN 30 Bone. Supervised by Hj. A. Kasmawati, S.P., M.M. and Jusman, S.Pd., M.Pd. The main problem of this study was to determine whether the use of Smart TV as a visual learning medium affects students’ learning outcomes in Informatics subject at Grade X of SMAN 30 Bone. This study aimed to examine the effect of Smart TV as a visual learning medium on students’ learning outcomes. This research employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method using a pretest-posttest control group design. The population consisted of all Grade X students of SMAN 30 Bone totaling 60 students. A saturated sampling technique was applied, in which the entire population was used as the research sample. The research instrument was a learning achievement test administered through pretest and posttest. Data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics, including normality tests, homogeneity tests, and an independent sample t-test. The findings revealed that the use of Smart TV as a visual learning medium had a significant effect on students’ learning outcomes. This was indicated by the significance value (Sig. 2-tailed) of 0.000, which was lower than 0.05. Furthermore, the mean score of the experimental class was 90.00, which was higher than that of the control class at 81.72. Therefore, it can be concluded that the use of Smart TV as a visual learning medium effectively improves students’ learning outcomes in Informatics subject at Grade X of SMAN 30 Bone.

Abstract

The rapid development of artificial intelligence has encouraged the integration of AI-based applications into higher education learning. One of the applications widely used by students is Google Gemini, which functions as an interactive learning medium capable of facilitating access to information, assisting in understanding learning materials, and supporting academic assignments. This study aimed to explore students' perceptions of the use of Google Gemini as an interactive learning medium in improving learning motivation, identify the obstacles encountered during its use, and describe the strategies employed by students to overcome these obstacles. This research employed a qualitative approach with a phenomenological design. The participants consisted of 35 second-semester students of Class B in the Educational Technology Study Program at Universitas Muhammadiyah Bone. Data were collected through interviews, observations, questionnaires, and documentation, while data analysis followed the Miles and Huberman interactive model involving data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that students generally have positive perceptions of Google Gemini because it is easy to use, provides quick access to information, assists in understanding course materials, and enhances learning motivation through increased curiosity, confidence, and active participation. However, several challenges remain, including unstable internet connectivity and limited understanding of some application features. Students addressed these challenges by seeking additional learning resources, discussing with peers, and improving their digital literacy. The study concludes that Google Gemini has considerable potential to support interactive learning and foster students' learning motivation when accompanied by appropriate digital competence.
