Abstract

This training aims to provide the congregation of the Cathedral Church of the Archdiocese of Medan with a practical understanding of utilizing social media as a digital marketing tool. With the widespread use of Instagram, Facebook, and WhatsApp Business among the public, this training focuses on branding strategies, content creation, and effective digital promotion techniques for MSMEs. This activity is a collaboration between the Cathedral Church and the Information Technology & Management Study Program of IBBI University and was held on July 20, 2025, in the Van De Hurk Hall. The results of the activity showed an increase in participants' understanding of digital marketing and motivation to market products more professionally through social media platforms.

Abstract

Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in West Java have lots of challenges in the digital era, and requirement of change which is most important to survive in new competitive environment. This research focuses on the identification of factors that affect the Business Performance of SMEs in the region. Applying Partial Least Squares analysis, this research investigates the research gap around Digital Literacy, Engagement in Digital Initiatives, Internal Digital Culture, Government Support Policies, and Market Competitiveness. An exploration of the relationship between the variables of Digital literacy, Digital engagement, and digital culture and their effect on SMEs business performance show that research tests point to significant effects of the three variables on at least one dimension of Business performance. Nonetheless, Government Support Policies and Market Competitiveness appear to be less relevant but they still have places. There is evidence where governments have provided chances to SMEs, though not optimal. In this sporting goods industry, market forces justified the business need for adaptation in today’s market. This research provides valuable recommendations to policy makers and practitioners. When digital challenges are understood as unavoidable obstacles and approached as a set of priorities, getting to know internal digital cultures, economies, and financing opportunities in the context of West Java SMEs, it will be possible to outline general strategies for the successful development of firms in the discussed region.

Abstract

Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) berperan strategis dalam perekonomian daerah, namun masih menghadapi kendala, terutama dalam pengelolaan keuangan. Pelaku UMKM di Desa Binjai Bakung, Kecamatan Pantai Labu, Kabupaten Deli Serdang, umumnya belum mampu melakukan pencatatan dan penyusunan laporan keuangan sederhana serta memisahkan keuangan usaha dan pribadi, sehingga berpotensi menghambat keberlanjutan usaha. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan manajemen keuangan melalui penyuluhan dan pelatihan yang berfokus pada perencanaan dan pengelolaan modal, pendistribusian keuntungan, serta pencatatan arus kas. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi tahap persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi dengan pendekatan partisipatif berupa ceramah, diskusi, dan praktik penyusunan laporan keuangan sederhana. Kegiatan tatap muka ini diikuti 15 pelaku UMKM dan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman peserta tentang pentingnya manajemen keuangan, kemampuan mencatat transaksi, serta menyusun laporan keuangan sederhana, disertai respons positif dan partisipasi aktif.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pengalaman pelanggan dan kenyamanan terhadap kepuasan serta loyalitas pelanggan mobil listrik di Kota Medan, dengan environmental awareness sebagai variabel moderasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan dimana populasi pada penelitian ini pengguna mobil listrik di kota Medan dengan teknik pengambilan sampel purposive sampling serta penyebaran kuesioner di lakukan secara online kepada 126 pengguna mobil listrik di kota Medan. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) melalui SmartPLS 3. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengalaman pelanggan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan pelanggan. Namun, kenyamanan tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan pelanggan. Environmental awareness terbukti memoderasi secara positif (memperkuat) pengaruh pengalaman pelanggan terhadap kepuasan. Sebaliknya, environmental awareness memoderasi secara negatif (memperlemah) pengaruh kenyamanan terhadap kepuasan pelanggan. Selain itu, kepuasan pelanggan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap loyalitas pelanggan mobil listrik di Kota Medan. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa kepuasan dan loyalitas pelanggan tidak hanya dibentuk oleh pengalaman emosional dan kenyamanan berkendara, tetapi juga oleh tingkat kesadaran lingkungan yang dimiliki konsumen
