Abstract

Seorang guru harus bisa memilih media pembelajaran yang cocok diberikan ke peserta didik agar mudah dimengerti oleh peserta didik, serta mampu meningkatkan minat belajar peserta didik. Inovasi pembelajaran dapat memudahkan peserta didik mempelajari materi yang disampaikan oleh guru. Salah satu inovasi media pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan dan dikembangkan yaitu puzzle. Penelitian ini betujuan untuk menganalisis praktikalitas penggunaan puzzle terhadap guru dan peserta didik. Praktikalitas merupakan kemudahan penggunaan produk yang dikembangkan. Meta-analisis dilakukan dengan mengumpulkan artikel sejenis dengan cara mencari artikel dari beberapa jurnal melalui internet. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 15 artikel terkait penggunaan puzzle. Hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa rata-rata tingkat praktikalitas penggunaan e-modul oleh guru sebesar 90,26 dengan kategori sangat praktis, sedangkan rerata tingkat praktikalitas oleh peserta didik sebesar 90,35 dengan kategori sangat praktis. Berdasarkan hasil analisis praktikalitas puzzle yang dikembangkan dapat dikategorikan praktis sehingga layak digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

Learning media is everything that is used to distribute information in learning. The use of appropriate and varied media can overcome the passive nature of students in the teaching and learning process. The results of the analysis of observational questionnaires on students and teachers, it is known that the media that tend to be used are textbooks and modules. Therefore, teachers and students still want other learning media that are able to attract interest in reading and can easily be used anytime and anywhere by students. Based on this, a digital booklet on the material of the human digestive system was developed as a valid learning medium for class XI SMA/MA students. This research was conducted at the Department of Biology, FMIPA UNP and SMAN 1 Rao, using a 4D development model (define, design, develop and disseminate) which is abbreviated at the develop (3D) stage. The data obtained were analyzed by descriptive statistics. The average value of validation is 90.95% with a very valid category. This criterion was obtained from four aspects tested, namely aspects of the feasibility of content, language, presentation and graphics. Digital booklets with very valid criteria are appropriate for use in the student learning process.Abstrak Media pembelajaran merupakan segala sesuatu yang digunakan untuk menyalurkan informasi dalam pembelajaran. Penggunaan media yang tepat dan bervariasi dapat mengatasi sifat pasif perserta didik dalam proses belajar mengajar. Hasil analisis angket observasi terhadap peserta didik dan guru, diketahui media yang cenderung digunakan adalah buku teks dan modul. Oleh karena itu guru dan peserta didik masih menginginkan media pembelajaran lain yang mampu menarik minat baca dan dengan mudah dapat digunakan kapan dan dimana saja oleh peserta didik. Berdasarkan hal tersebut dikembangkanlah booklet digital pada materi sistem pencernaan manusia sebagai media pembelajaran yang dilengkapi dengan gambar dan video yang interaktif untuk peserta didik kelas XI SMA/MA yang valid. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Departemen Biologi FMIPA UNP dan SMAN 1 Rao, dengan menggunakan model pengembangan 4D (define, design, develop dan disseminate) yang disingkat pada tahap develop (3D). Data yang diperoleh dianalisis secara statistik deskriptif.  Nilai rata-rata validasi 90,95% dengan kategori sangat valid. Kriteria ini diperoleh dari empat aspek yang diuji yaitu aspek kelayakan isi, kebahasaan, penyajian dan kegrafikaan. Booklet digital dengan kriteria sangat valid layak digunakan dalam proses belajar oleh siswa.

Abstract

Pembelajaran yang diterapkan sudah berorientasi pada keterampilan berpikir kritis namun belum terlaksana secara optimal. Keterampilan berpikir kritis dapat dikembangkan melalui proses pembelajaran yang efektif dan efisien. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan tingkat keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik kelas XII MIPA SMAN 1 Kecamatan kapur IX. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu analisis denskriptif kuantitatif dengan menggunakan instrumen berupa soal yang berdasarkan pada indikator berpikir kritis dari ennis. Hasil yang didapatkan dari ujicoba soal kepada peserta didik diolah dan dianalisis, sehingga didapatkan kesimpulan Tingkat keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik kelas XII MIPA SMAN 1 Kecamatan Kapur IX berada pada kategori sangat rendah.

Abstract

The 21st century requires students to have 4C skills, one of which is critical thinking skills. Learning at SMAN 1 Salimpaung is already oriented towards critical thinking skills, but it is still not optimal and the data regarding critical thinking skills is unknown. Therefore, data is needed regarding the analysis of students' critical thinking skills. This study aims to analyze the level of critical thinking skills of class XII students of SMAN 1 Salimpaung on the subject of inheritance. This research is a descriptive research. The research sample consisted of 30 students. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling. The instrument used in this study is in the form of essays on inheritance material which refers to aspects of critical thinking, Ennis (2011). The data analysis technique used is quantitative descriptive analysis. Based on the results of the research that has been done, the critical thinking skills of class XII students of SMAN 1 Salimpaung are obtained, namely the indicator of formulating questions 40% (very low), analyzing arguments 46.67% (low), considering the credibility of sources 59.17% (low), induction 21.67% (very low), deduction 41.67% (very low), make and consider decisions 20% (very low), make terms and definitions 40.83% (very low) and determine an action 24 .17% (very low) to obtain a general average of 36.53%. The conclusion of this study is that the level of critical thinking skills of class XII students of SMA Negeri 1 Salimpaung is generally still in the very low category.

Abstract

Kurikulum merdeka merupakan kurikulum baru yang menjadikan pendidikan berpusat pada peserta didik sehingga pendidik dituntut mampu mengembangkan modul ajar. Modul ajar kurikulum merdeka merupakan bahasa baru dari RPP yang memiliki ketentuan format memuat materi pembelajaran, interpretasi, dan teknik evaluasi yang disusun secara sistematis. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan Research and Development menggunakan model 4-D yang dibatasi sampai tahap develop. Subjek penelitian ini 2 orang dosen departemen biologi FMIPA UNP, 3 orang guru biologi SMAN 1 Batang Anai. Objek penelitian adalah modul ajar mutasi problem based learning (PBL) untuk mata pelajaran biologi fase F SMA/MA. Instrumen pengumpulan data adalah angket wawancara pendidik, angket validitas, dan angket uji keterbacaan. Hasil uji validitas modul ajar adalah 92,10% dikategorikan sangat valid. Berdasarkan penelitian disimpulkan bahwa modul ajar mutasi berbasis Problem Based Learning (PBL) untuk mata pelajaran biologi fase F SMA/MA valid.

Abstract

Biologi merupakan salah satu cabang ilmu yang memiliki peran dalam kehidupan, khususnya dalam bidang ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi (IPTEK). Salah satu model pembelajaran yang mampu mendorong siswa memahami dan meningkatkan kreativitas pembelajaran adalah model pembelajaran berbasis proyek yaitu project based learning (PjBL). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran PjBL terhadap kreativitas siswa dalam pembelajaran biologi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian quasi-eksperimen, menggunakan teknik posttest only control design. Lokasi penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 12 Padang dengan populasi penelitian siswa kelas XI IPA. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPA 1 untuk kelas eksperimen dan siswa kelas XI IPA 2 untuk kelas kontrol. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah independent sample t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran berbasis proyek berpengaruh positif terhadap pengembangan kreativitas siswa dalam penguasaan materi biologi hasil signifikan (2-tailed) < 0,05 yaitu 0,000 yang berarti hipotesis diterima. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan model PjBL berpengaruh positif terhadap kompetensi keterampilan siswa.

Abstract

One of the factors for improving the quality of education in schools is teaching materials. Based on the results of observations at SMAN 1 Sitiung that students have not used e-modules but use electronic teaching materials in the form of pdf files downloaded from the internet and only in the form of writing and a few pictures. Based on the results of the questionnaire, it is known that students have difficulty understanding the concept of the respiratory system material. This causes low student learning outcomes. Based on the results of the creative thinking questionnaire, it was found that students' creative thinking ability is still low with an average score of 33.8, so it is included in the less creative category. So it takes teaching materials that can help in visualizing the subject matter. This type of research is Plomp model development research which consists of three stages, namely the initial investigation stage, the development or prototyping stage, and the assessment stage. The research subjects were class XI students at SMAN 1 Sitiung for the 2022-2023 academic year. Validation results by the validator on nuanced e-modules Science Technology Engineering And Mathematics (STEM) shows an average grade 88.05% (very valid). Practical results by Biology teachers showed an average score of 87.5% (very practical) and 88.28% students (very practical). The test data for the effectiveness of creative thinking was obtained from the average essay questions 81.22% (very creative).

Abstract

The implementation of the independent curriculum requires teachers to develop teaching tools in the form of complete and systematic teaching modules. This study aims to produce a valid Mendelian law of inheritance patterns teaching modules. The research method is R&D (Research and development) with the 4D development model. The subjects of this study were two biology lecturers at FMIPA UNP and six biology teachers. The data collection instruments were observation questionnaires, validity questionnaires, and legibility test questionnaires. This study found that the independent curriculum teaching modules in phase F were not yet available because the independent curriculum had just been implemented. Based on the research conducted, it was found that the teaching module on the pattern of inheritance on Mendel's laws based on problem based learning for biology subjects in phase F SMA/MA is valid with an average score of 91.20% and very valid criteria.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the model Problem based Learning in  improve results and learning activities in biology learning system material digestion and the human respiratory system. The type of research carried out is in accordance with the problem researched is study action class (Classroom action research). The population in this study were students of class XI MIPA MAN 2 Tanah Datar who were enrolled in the 2022/2023 academic year. The sample in this study were students in class XI MIPA 1 and XI MIPA 2 MAN 2 Tanah Datar. Data collection techniques used in this study were observation, questionnaires, documentation and field notes. The data analysis technique used to analyze activity data and student learning outcomes is the percentage technique and the t test. The results of this study indicate that the average student learning outcomes have increased from cycle I (68.55 %) to cycle II (86.20%). In line with the learning activities of students also increased from cycle I (48 %) to cycle II (77%). The conclusion of this study is that the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model can increase the activity and learning outcomes of students in biology class XI IPA MAN 2 Tanah Datar.

Abstract

Training the community to process plastic waste using ecobrick techniques can be useful and one of the keys to the success of a plastic waste recycling program. Gado-Gado Hill is one of the sub-districts in Padang, which has now become a magnet for tourists who want to see the natural beauty of Padang from above. As a tourist destination, this area has the potential to experience environmental damage due to plastic waste if the community is unable to manage plastic waste properly. In Bukit Gado-Gado Village, there is a community called the Bukit Gado-Gado Youth Information and Counseling Center. This community has a challenge, namely the lack of volunteers to develop the creativity of teenagers and children. The aim of this community partnership program is to provide training to community members in efforts to deal with plastic waste using ecobrick techniques. The long-term goal of this program is independence for community members in the economic sector as a new business opportunity to create a product with high marketability.
