Abstract

Stunting is one of the chronic nutritional problems that inhibits physical growth and cognitive development of children. This study aims to develop a local culture-based Supplementary Food for School Children (PMTAS) menu as an effort to prevent stunting in Early Childhood Education (PAUD) institutions. The method used is Research and Development (R n D) with ADDIE Action model analysis (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate) which involves needs analysis, menu design, product development, implementation in schools, and evaluation of effectiveness. The results of this study have important implications in the context of stunting prevention, but also in the development of national nutrition and education policies. These findings underline that school-based interventions with a local food-based approach can be used as a model to be applied in various regions in Indonesia. However, adaptation is needed in implementation in areas with different socio-economic and cultural conditions. By focusing on local food, this approach opens up opportunities to create new theories about the role of local culture in food acceptance and its effects on improving children's nutritional status. As an additional contribution to the literature, this study suggests that the role of local culture in food acceptance by children be the focus for theory development. In addition, the role of school-based interventions as a key factor in preventing stunting needs to be explored further, including by considering how parental involvement can be strengthened through school programs.

Abstract

Permainan judi online semakin marak di Indonesia. Hal ini merupakan salah satu kasus aduan yang sulit diberantas di Indonesia. Perjudian online ini disebabkan oleh kemajuan teknologi yang sangat canggih, tekanan sosial ekonomi, dan peran media social sebagai platform iklan. Perjudian tidak hanya dilakukan oleh pria dewasa, tetapi juga anak-anak, remaja dan perempuan pun juga terlibat. Masyarakat menganggap hal yang lumrah ataupun menjadi kebiasaan disaat mengisi kekosongan waktu mereka. Namun demikian, perjudian tetap merupakan tindakan melanggar hukum yang merugikan individu dan masyarakat secara keseluruhan, untuk itu masih diperlukan upaya akan bahayanya perjudian online. Dijelaskan bahwa konsep anak remaja merupakan era perubahan yang dilalui dari masa kanak- kanak menuju dewasa. Maka dari itu di masa pubertas anak-anak remaja mesti diberi edukasi akan kesadaran dampaknya perjudian online tersebut. Sasaran kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dalam bentuk penyuluhan ini adalah kalangan remaja yang bersekolah di SMA Negeri 81 Jakarta, Kelurahan Cipinang Melayu, Kecamatan Makasar, Kota Jakarta Timur. Pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini secara garis besar terdiri dari tahap persiapan, tahap pelaksanaan, tahap evaluasi, dan tahap pelaporan hasil Iuran kegiatan. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini, pertama bahwa kegiatan berjalan dengan lancar yang dihadiri oleh kalangan pelajar di Lingkungan sekolah SMA Negeri 81 Jakarta dengan antusias. Kedua bahwa kegiatan telah meningkatkan pengetahuan dan pemahaman kepada anak remaja tentang upaya penaggulangan judi online di kalangan pelajar.

Abstract

Scientific publications play an important role in education, especially for teachers who want to contribute to the development of science and teaching practices. For madrasah teachers, the ability to publish research results and teaching experiences not only increases professional credibility but also enriches the educational literature. Therefore, strategies to improve scientific publications through publication competency training become very relevant. This training aims to develop madrasah teachers' competence in scientific publications, especially in publishing articles in accredited journals. The training implementation method includes theoretical and practical sessions designed to provide an in-depth understanding of the process of writing, editing, and publishing scientific papers. During the day, participants will be mentored by experts in the field of scientific publications, who will provide comprehensive materials and practical guidance. The results of this training showed an increase in teachers' understanding of the importance of scientific publications and technical skills in writing and publishing articles in accredited journals. In addition, the training successfully established a collaborative network between schools and universities, both in Aceh and at the national level. This network is expected to support the continuous development of teachers' competencies and expand their access to academic resources. Thus, this publication competency training for madrasah teachers not only improves the ability of individual teachers in scientific publications, but also strengthens the relationship between educational institutions, thus creating synergy for the advancement of education in Indonesia
