Abstract

The assistance of the Ramadan safari activity carried out by the HMPS Tadris Bahasa Indonesia UIMSYA Blokagung Banyuwangi is one form of implementation of the tridharma of higher education. This activity aims to provide students with provisions related to spiritual and social values. The method used in this activity is more focused on the implementation stage of the activity which includes three stages: the planning stage, implementation and evaluation. The results of this community service activity are in accordance with what is expected. This can be seen from the good response from SMAN 1 Muncar and students as participants in this activity. Mainly from the concept of the activity and the material that has been prepared and arranged for the smooth running of this year's Ramadan safari activity.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji praktik etnografi Methi’ Padi sebuah ritual tradisional dalam penanaman padi sebagai sarana untuk menumbuhkan kesadaran lingkungan dan identitas budaya masyarakat Kaliploso, Banyuwangi. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif studi etnografi dengan observasi partisipatif dan wawancara mendalam ke masyarakat Desa Kaliploso pada saat upacara methik padi dilaksanakan, penelitian ini mendokumentasikan bagaimana ritual ini merepresentasikan rasa syukur kepada alam serta mengandung kearifan ekologis lokal, selain itu untuk memahami sebuah makna yang tersirat pada adat methik padi ini. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelestarian praktik budaya semacam ini bukan hanya penting untuk keberlanjutan warisan budaya, tetapi juga mendesak untuk menanamkan rasa cinta dan tanggung jawab terhadap lingkungan, khususnya di kalangan generasi muda.  Studi ini menekankan pentingnya integrasi pelestarian budaya ke dalam kebijakan pendidikan lingkungan di tingkat masyarakat, dan menganalisis perubahan kehidupan bersosial sebagai sebuah pengamatan bagaimana tradisi methik padi ini akan berubah dengan berjalannya waktu, seperti contoh dari aktivitas bersama menjadi aktivitas personal atau individual.

Abstract

This study aims to interpret the mentoring process in utilizing Artificial Intelligence (AI) to improve scientific article writing skills in Indonesian language learning. The research employed Participatory Action Research (PAR) conducted through four stages: (1) Planning, which involved identifying students’ needs and designing training programs; (2) Action, which included technical training, writing practice, and article clinics; (3) Observation, focusing on participation, challenges, and skill development; and (4) Reflection, carried out through joint evaluation between mentors and students. The findings reveal that AI integration effectively supports students in enhancing grammar, text structure, citation management, and access to academic literature, while human mentoring plays a crucial role in fostering critical thinking, maintaining originality, and ensuring compliance with publication ethics. The implication highlights that the synergy between digital technology and pedagogical mentoring is highly effective in strengthening students’ academic literacy and preparing them for the demands of scientific publication in the digital era.
