Abstract

This study aims to analyze the competence of prospective teacher students after the covid 19 pandemic. The method used is review systematic in accordance with Preferred reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISM). Search process focused on article journal about " Post-Pandemic Post-Pandemic Student Teacher Candidate Analysis Abilities " and " Post-Pandemic Student Teacher Competency which will be published in 2021 - 2022. The results of the research show that the quality and competence of student teacher candidates has decreased, this is especially in terms of pedagogy and ability appropriate technology integration. Therefore, there is a need for support in the form of policies that can be implemented by tertiary institutions through faculties in the field of education related to changes in the education system based on blended learning or hybrid learning.

Abstract

Today's rapid technological advances must be accompanied by the professional competence of educators, especially in integrating technology and project-based learning models. This research is a systematic review study to analyze the professional competency of teachers, the PjBL model in Primary Education, and the relationship between the professional abilities of teachers to implement the PjBL model in learning at elementary school. An article search through the Google Scholar database found 33600 journal articles after inclusion and exclusion were carried out. Ten journals were obtained for systematic review. From the results of a systematic study, it was found that there were journals that stated that the teacher's motivation in using the PjBL model had a direct impact on increasing the ability of children to develop their mindset towards the material being taught. It was also found that the ability to implement the PjBL model was combined with other learning models and approaches, and the ability of teachers to apply the technology-assisted PjBL model, so, in general, the competence of prospective elementary school teachers can be improved through the PjBL model. Based on the findings of a review of ten relevant journals, it can be said that using the PjBL model in learning presents some difficulties, particularly at the basic education level. Therefore, higher education institutions are expected to design the models and techniques to prepare student-teacher candidates to develop professional competence by innovating, being creative, and utilizing technology through project-based learning.

Abstract

The low understanding of the concept of fifth-grade students at SDN 9 Aceh Utara in science lesson theme 4 sub-theme 1 is due to the minimal use of instructional media in the learning process, so there is a need for learning media that can improve students’ understanding of concepts, one of which is Mock Up media. This study aims to determine the effect of Mockup media on conceptual understanding in science subjects for class V theme 4 sub-theme 1 at SDN 9 Aceh Utara. This type of research is a quantitative research with an experimental approach. The population in this study were all fifth-grade students at SDN 9 Aceh Utara, totaling 71 students. Sampling using Random Sampling. The research sample was students from two classes, namely 23 students from class V A as the experimental class and 23 students from class V B as the control class. The data collection technique in this study was in the form of a test of 20 questions in the form of a pretest and posttest, with data analysis using SPSS 23. Hypothesis testing using t-test. Based on the research results obtained tcount = 3.513 and ttable = 2.015. This means that tcount > ttable, namely 3.513 > 2.015 at a significance level of 0.05, meaning reject H0 and accept Ha. It can be concluded that there is an influence of Mock Up media on understanding concepts in grade V science subjects, theme 4, sub-theme 1 at SDN 9 Aceh Utara.

Abstract

Proses pembelajaran di perguruan tinggi diharapkan mampu menghasilkan lulusan yang kompeten, tuntutanpendidikan di abad 21 saat ini mengharuskan mahasiswa mampu mengembangkan  kompetensi diri yaitu enamketerampilan dasar abad 21 yang dikenal dengan 6C, salah satunya  mampu mengembangkan kreativitas dalamproses belajar mengajar.  Adapun tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis kreativitas mahasiswa calon gurumelalui model PJBL berbasis TPACK. Metode penlitian ini merupakan deskripsi kuantitatif dengan sampelpenelitian 32 mahasiswa PGMI semester 1. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, angket danwawancara. Data dianalisis secara statistic deskriptif yakni reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikankesimpulan. Hasil penelitian yaitu hasil observasi secara kelompok didapatkan 16% kelompok tergolong sangatbaik tingkat kreativitas dan 84% kelompok masuk dalam kategori baik kreativitasnya. Hasil angket terdapat 13(40,6%) mahasiswa yang memiliki kreativitas sangat baik dengan rata – rata nilai sebesar 87,5% - 100%, lebihlanjut . Data lain terlihat terdapat 19 mahasiswa (59,3%) yang termasuk dalam kategori baik kreativitasnyadengan nilai rata – rata 76,7% - 85,7%. Data ini didukung oleh hasil wawancara yang menyatakan penerapanmodel PJBL berbasis TPACK pada mata kuliah IPA menjadikan mahasiswa memiliki kemampuan yang baikdalam menganalisis dan menyelesaikan permasalahan terkait proyek, selain itu produk akhir yang dihasilkanrelevan dengan proyek yang diberikan di awal pembelajaran mampu dengan menggunakan sumber yangrelevan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil analisis penerapan model project basedlearning berbasis TPACK memberi dampak positif dan baik terhadap tingkat kreativitas mahasiswa calon guruMadrasah Ibtidaiyah dalam mata kuliah IPA terutama dalam menyelesaikan proyek baik secara individumaupun kelompok.Kata Kunci : Analisis, Kreativitas, Mahasiswa calon Guru, Model Project Based Learning, TPACK, IPA.

Abstract

The lack of Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) questions in student books causes students to receive inadequate training in solving such questions. This has resulted in the failure to achieve the goals of the 2013 curriculum's learning program, which aimed to equip students with Higher Thinking Skills and 21st-century skills. Therefore, it is important to conduct an analysis of the questions in Class V Student Book Theme 3, "Healthy Food," as higher-order thinking skills must be nurtured through the use of questions that align with the HOTS level. This study aims to determine whether the questions in the Class V Student Book Theme 3, "Healthy Food," published by the Ministry of Education and Culture in 2017, qualify as HOTS questions. Additionally, it seeks to assess the quality of these HOTS questions in the Student Book for Class V Theme 3, "Healthy Food," published by the Ministry of Education and Culture in 2017. The method employed in this study is content analysis. The data analysis in this study was conducted qualitatively, involving the examination of document data—specifically, the questions in the Class V Student Book Theme 3, "Healthy Food." These questions were categorized according to Bloom's Taxonomy levels, ranging from C1 to C6. The analysis results are presented as percentages for each question type. The subject of this study was the Class V Student Book Theme 3, "Healthy Food," published by the Ministry of Education and Culture in 2017, which encompassed four sub-themes. Documentation was the chosen technique and tool for data collection in this study. The research findings revealed that: at the analyzing level (C4), the items constituted 35.2%; at the evaluating level (C5), the items comprised 23.5%; and at the creating level (C6), the items constituted 76.4%. As a result, the quality of the questions in the Class V Student Book Theme 3, "Healthy Food," indicates that a significant majority, 76.4% of the questions, are centered around the creation level.

Abstract

This study focuses on enhancing the skills of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah teachers in Lhokseumawe in the creation of creative learning media. The training aims to improve and elevate the practices of media creation, which have been considered simplistic and uneven across different teaching materials. The approach used is action research. The study was conducted in two sessions on January 20-21, 2022. The research method includes a cycle of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data collection techniques involved interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of this action research demonstrate that the training, attended by 20 participants, was successful in improving their practical skills in creating creative learning media. However, participants felt that the duration of the training was too short and expressed a desire for more in-depth material and longer discussion sessions. The evaluation also showed general satisfaction with the material and facilitators. The implications of this research indicate the need for developing a continuous training program with a more flexible schedule and more comprehensive material. Increasing the allocation of time for discussion and practice should also be considered. The goal is to enhance the effectiveness of future training, focusing on improving the quality of learning media and the skills of teachers in creating more innovative teaching materials that meet the needs of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah education.

Abstract

Mathematics and critical thinking skills are two things that cannot be separated, because mathematics is understood through critical thinking and vice versa. Critical thinking is trained through studying mathematics. Critical thinking can help students improve their understanding of the material being studied by evaluating it critically. It can be used by students to solve problems and as a consideration in making correct decisions in learning mathematics. However, at SD Negeri 1 it is clear that there are still many students who are unable to solve mathematical problems because of the students' low critical thinking skills. The aim of this research is to find out how students' critical thinking abilities are and what the teacher's role is in improving students' critical thinking abilities. The method used is descriptive qualitative with data analysis techniques using data reduction. The data sources in this research are primary and secondary data. data obtained from interview techniques and documentation. The results of the research show that students who are classified as having high critical thinking abilities are students who are able to fulfill all critical thinking indicators, students who have moderate critical thinking abilities are able to fulfill the indicators of interpretation, analysis and evaluation, students who have low critical thinking abilities are unable to interpret problems and are unable to fulfill the indicators of analysis, evaluation and inference. Therefore, teachers play a very important role in improving students' critical thinking abilities and training students to develop thinking abilities by providing practice questions to students so that they can help students improve their critical thinking abilities.

Abstract

Rendahnya keterampilan berbicara siswa pada mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia menjadi perhatian penting dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan pengaruh metode show and tell terhadap keterampilan berbicara siswa di kelas V Madrasah Ibtidaiyah, khususnya pada materi teks pidato. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif, jenis quasi eksperimen dengan desain nonequivalent control group desain. Populasi penelitian terdiri dari seluruh siswa kelas V, dengan sampel sebanyak 48 siswa yang terbagi menjadi dua kelompok diantaranya kelas eksperimen yaitu kelas Vb yang berjumlah 24 siswa dan kelas kontrol yaitu kelas Va yang juga berjumlah 24 siswa. Data dikumpulkan melalui pretest secara lisan dan posttest dengan lisan, dan dianalisis menggunakan uji t independen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai signifikansi (sig 2-tailed) adalah 0,003, yang berarti 0,003 < 0,05 pada taraf signifikan 0,05. Selain itu, diperoleh nilai thitung sebesar 3,140 dan ttabel sebesar 1,678, yang menunjukkan bahwa 3,140 > 1,678. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh signifikan dari metode show and tell terhadap keterampilan berbicara siswa pada pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia di kelas V Madrasah Ibtidaiyah.

Abstract

In the current era of revolution, the world of education is required to follow technological developments and utilize them to facilitate the learning process. However, currently in designing learning, many teachers still only use teaching modules in the form of printouts on paper so that learning activities are very monotonous and less interesting.The purpose of this research is to produce a digital teaching module product in the form of flipbook which focuses on learning science materials on the state of matter and its changes which can help the success of the learning process through more interesting and easy-to-understand learning. The type of research conducted is development research (Research and Development) using the ADDIE model which consists of 5 stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. The data collection methods used were questionnaires, sheets pretest and posttest, and observation sheets. The results of this study indicate that the digital teaching module that has been developed is very valid with a validation percentage of 96% and 88% by the validator, very practical with a percentage of 96%, very effective with a percentage of 92% for the student response questionnaire, 99% for the teacher activity observation sheet and 96% for the student activity observation sheet, and can improve students' understanding of concepts in learning with an N-Gain value between 0.4-1 which indicates medium and high criteria results. This is shown by the positive response and increased understanding of students' concepts related to the science material being studied.

Abstract

University management must be carried out effectively so that graduates can have high quality, playing a role as a driver of improving the quality of human resources. One of them can be done by implementing and evaluating the implementation of OBE-based curriculum. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the OBE curriculum at PGMI IAIN Lhokseumawe as an effort to improve the quality of prospective teacher graduates. This study used a qualitative descriptive method with 90 research subjects of PGMI IAIN Lhoksemawe students, data collection was carried out using questionnaires, observation and documentation. Data were analyzed qualitatively by data collection, data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion. The results of the analysis of the OBE curriculum in the IAIN Lhokseumawe PGMI Study Program found that 95% of the curriculum has been prepared according to the OBE principles, for the RPS is still at 40% suitability and needs improvement in Graduate Learning Outcomes (CPL), Course Learning Outcomes (CPMK), and syllabus preparation. For the implementation of Outcome-Based Education (OBE) Curriculum in PGMI Study Program IAIN Lhokseumawe shows that the majority of students assess the implementation of this curriculum is good, it can be concluded that the Curriculum document has been in accordance with the principles of OBE but needs improvement in the preparation of RPS, for the implementation of the OBE curriculum as a whole received a positive response from students.
