Abstract

The rapid transmission of the Covid-19 virus, coupled with the circulation of social media information that cannot be verified, will impact stigma in the form of discriminatory behavior in society. This study aimed to determine the relationship between stigma and community discriminatory behavior in patients with COVID-19 at the Permata Bonang RT Perbon Tuban. This study uses a design with a Cross-sectional Study approach. The population used is part of the community in the Permata Bonang RT, with a total of 45 respondents and a sample of 40 using simple random sampling. The dependent variable is stigma, and the independent variable is discriminatory behavior. Data collection using a questionnaire sheet was analyzed using the chi-square test. The results showed that the positive stigma of society was 60% and the negative stigma of society was 40%;  as for the results of discriminatory community behavior that occurred, a small number of respondents had discriminatory behavior, namely 32.5%, and some respondents who did not discriminate, namely 67, 5%. So the results obtained in this study show a relationship between stigma and community discriminatory behavior in patients with COVID-19. The results of the chi-square test evidence this; the p-value is <0.05 (p-value = 0.000), so there is a relationship between stigma and discriminatory behavior in society. Based on the results of this study, respondents are advised to keep thinking positively by providing support and motivation for positive patients for Covid-19, increasing proper knowledge about education and information based on facts so that they can be wiser in responding to current conditions.

Abstract

Response time which can cause physical disability and death in patients, the speed in this case is an action with less than 5 minutes from the patient's arrival at Emergency departments, indirectly experience and education may be related to the length of response time. This research uses analytic survey research design with cross sectional time approach. Respondents in this studyare all nurses at the RSUD Dr. R. Koesma Tuban were 23 nurses, the technique used in the study was total sampling. The independent variable in this study is work experience and nurse education while the dependent variable is the response time for patient care. The instrument used was a questionnaire, and the analysis of this study used the Pearson correlation test.Statistical test results on work experience variables with response time obtained Sig (2-tailed) of 0.04 less than 0.05 then there is a correlation, while for the education level variable obtained Sig (2-tailed) 0.58 greater than 0.05 then it does not have a correlation to response time.So it can be concluded from the results of statistical tests there is a relationship of work experience with the response time of handling patients and the level of education has no relationship with response time. Keywords : Work experience, Nurse Education, Response Time for Patient Handling

Abstract

Background: Patient satisfaction is one of the indicators measured in the Hospital Minimum Service Standards. In the Inpatient Installation (IRNA) of the Tuban Hospital there are 17 indicators but only 9 are met (52.94%). One of them is patient satisfaction with an achievement of 74.35% of the standard set by the hospital of 82%. One of the causes of not achieving patient satisfaction is the high number of patient complaints regarding aspects of the competence of nurses in providing services, a total of 61 complaints during 2014-2021. Methods: The research questionnaire instrument used a Likert scale of 1-5 on the independent and dependent variables. The rating scale on the independent variable or nurse's responsiveness ranged from strongly disagree to strongly agree. Meanwhile, the rating scale for the dependent variable ranges from very dissatisfied to very satisfied. Results: Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of responsiveness or responsiveness of 0.003 (<a=0.05). to patient satisfaction. This shows that the better the patient's assessment of the responsiveness of the nurse, the more patient satisfaction will increase at the Inpatient Installation (IRNA) of the Tuban Hospital. Conclusion: More than 20% of respondents' assessments are in the category of being satisfied with the nurse's response. The hospital needs to hold training on human resources, especially training in therapeutic communication between nurses and patients to maintain the quality of service at the hospital.

Conclusion: Evaluation in terms of process, indicators are in accordance with regulations, data sources are in accordance with patient safety incident guidelines and guidelines, and collection, processing, presentation, and analysis are in accordance with theory. Evaluation in terms of output, submission of incident reports has not been on time, reports are complete and in accordance with existing guidelines, and reports have been used for decision making. Hospitals are expected to improve incident reporting guidelines and improve human resource capabilities.

This study aims to determine the relationship between the health of the home environment and the incidence of acute respiratory infections in Kesamben Village. The research design used was correlational analytic with a cross-sectional technique. The sampling technique was simple random sampling, on 38 respondents at Posyandu Cempaka, Kersamben village. Measuring tools using questionnaires, and data analysis using the chi-square statistical test. From the results of the study, it was found that most of the respondents' home environment was healthy, namely as many as 24 (68.6%) respondents, most of the 28 (36.8%) respondents at the posyandu in Kesamben village did not. suffer from ARI. Based on the chi-square test, there is a significant relationship between the independent variable and the dependent variable, namely the health of the home environment and the incidence of ARI in Kesamben Village (approx. sig = 0.013) with a significant value of = <0.05. From the description above, it can be concluded that the health of the home environment affects the health of the home environment, so it is expected to carry out ARI in toddlers. Therefore, every community needs to maintain and maintain physical sanitation of the house and apply a clean and healthy lifestyle in daily life to reduce the risk of getting infected. diseases related to the environment, especially in toddlers.
