Abstract

The literacy movement is being carried out by the government nationally in various circles ranging from families, schools and communities. It is also entitled to be felt by all people including street children. For street children literacy culture also needs to be grown because their literacy is still low. This effort was carried out by increasing literacy in "Lotus" street children in the Social Barracks of Demaan Village, Kudus Regency, Central Java. Lack of interest in learning because teaching materials in schools are not easy for them to digest, making them less desirable and a burden on them. Teaching materials that are made thematically presented in the form of reading about local wisdom around them are expected to improve their literacy culture. The PKM is carried out by mentoring educational programs in the form of tutoring and training in improving literacy. In mentoring using teaching materials that have been developed by applying several methods. Like learning methods based on study groups according to age with approaches such as scientific, thematic, tutorial, drill and lecture. while the implementation of literacy training delivered good reading and writing methods. From this PKM activity, it was found that the level of enthusiasm of attendance was very high %80%, literacy ability had experienced an increase of> 10% with a significant.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar pada materi Daerahku Kebanggaanku dalam mata pelajaran IPAS melalui model pembelajaran project based learning berbantuan media scrapbook di kelas V SD Negeri Kedunguter. Metode yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Subjek yang akan diteliti adalah peserta didik kelas V SD Negeri Kedunguter yang berjumlah 25. Teknik yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes dan lembar observasi. Penelitian ini mengukur hasil kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotor peserta didik. Ranah kognitif diukur melalui hasil tes peserta didik, ranah afektif diukur melalui keaktifan peserta didik, dan ranah psikomotorik diukur melalui keterampilan kolaborasi proyek dan presentasi peserta didik. Aktivitas pendidik turut dinilai menggunakan lembar observasi. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Analisis kuantitatif menggunakan uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, uji daya pembeda, uji tingkat kesukaran, dan uji gain. Hasil yang diperoleh menyatakan bahwa model pembelajaran project based learning berbantuan scrapbook dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik di kelas V SD Negeri Kedunguter. Hasil belajar kognitif siklus I memperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 64,00 meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 84,27. Pada ranah afektif, keaktifan peserta didik pada siklus I sebesar 64%, meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 83%. Sedangkan hasil belajar pada ranah psikomotor ditunjukkan dengan meningkatnya keterampilan kolaborasi proyek peserta didik pada siklus I dengan persentase rata-rata 63% menjadi 85%. Peningkatan juga terlihat pada penilaian keterampilan presentasi peserta didik, yang pada siklus I mendapat persentase rata-rata 65% meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 83%. Kesimpulan penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa model pembelajaran project based learning berbantuan media scrapbook dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar pada materi Daerahku Kebanggaanku di kelas V SD Negeri Kedunguter.Kata Kunci: penelitian tindakan kelas, hasil belajar, project based learning, scrapbook

Abstract

In elementary schools, the lack of utilization of learning media and restricted learning tools causes children to become bored and have difficulties grasping the curriculum. This project aims to create problem-based e-comics that are valid, practical, and useful for educational purposes. This research and development project used the ADDIE development paradigm, which includes stages such as analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Of all the stages completed, the problem-based e-comic generated fits the valid requirements, with a validity percentage of 87% falling into the category of highly viable. Problem-based e-comics also meet practical standards, with instructor response questionnaire analysis yielding an 89% score and student answer questionnaires yielding a 100% score, indicating they are efficiently practical. A learning with problem-based e-comic media is effective for class student learning accomplishment IV SDN-04. Mejobo, the t-test results yielded a 0.00 significant value, indicating a difference in student learning achievement before and after learning using problem-based e-comics. The results of the t-test were strengthened by the results of the normalized gain test, which yielded a value of 0, 63, which falls into the medium group. It is intended that the production of problem-based e-comics will expand the repertory of intellectual property while also serving as a medium and learning resource for elementary school pupils.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menyelidiki  perbedaan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa antara sebelum dan sesudah diterapkan model Game Based Learning berbantuan media Quizizz Paper Mode pada muatan pelajaran IPAS Bab 4 materi Relief Bumi kelas 5. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif yang berfokus terhadap satu kelas eksperimen yakni Pre Experimental Designs dengan jenis One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Teknik analisis pada penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan statistic uji normalitas, uji paired sample T-Test, dan uji N-Gain. Hasil penelitian uji normalitas pretest ini adalah Dari test Shapiro Wilk nilai sig. = 0,027 > 0,05 maka data awal ini dapat dikatakan berdistribusi normal. Setelah dilakukannya uji normalitas posttest melalui tes Shapiro wilk nilai signifikansi yang diperoleh yaitu (nilai sig. = 0,021 > 0,05) maka data ini dapat dikatakan berdistribusi normal. Hasil Uji Paired Samplel T-Test dapat disimpulkan bahwa signifikansi yang diperolah 0.000 < a = 0,05, maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima Serta hasil Uji N-Gain mengalami pengingkatan sebesar 66%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Read Answer Discuss Explain Create Learning model assisted by puzzle media on the ability to critically reason pancasila education. The research method useed in this study is a quantitative method in pre experimental with the type of research one group pretest-posttest design. The sample used was 11 fourth grade students of SDN Pulo. Data collections techniques in the form of test techniques, using critical reasoning ability test questions. From the results of the paired sample t test hypothesis test, the sig. (2-tailed) 0,000 < 0,05, because the sig value. (2-tailed) < α then H_o is rejected. So there is a significant difference in critical reasoning ability between before and after using the RADEC learning model assisted by puzzle media. So it can be concluded that there is an effect of the application of the Read Answer Discuss Explain Create learning model on the Critical Reasoning Ability of Grade IV Students of SDN Pulo.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the positive and negative impacts of using handphone both at school and at home, on the social development of fifth grade students of Al Fattah Islamic Elementary School. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive research type that focuses on case studies. The subjects studied were fifth grade students of Al Fattah Islamic Elementary School. Data collection was conducted through observation, questionnaires, and interviews condensation with 10 fifth grade students selected using purposive sampling techniques. The data analysis technique used was the Miles, Huberman, & Saldana, namely data, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that the impact of mobile phone use on students includes positive and negative impacts, where the negative impacts are greater than the positive impacts. The negative impacts of handphone use are that it makes students dependent, reduces students' social interaction with peers and the surrounding environment, students are less active in discussions or group work, students often say and behave impolitely, and students become indifferent to the surrounding environment and tend to be more interested in virtual interactions than direct interactions so that they become passive individuals and develop towards anti-social individuals. While the positive impacts of handphone use are that students find it easier to communicate with friends and find information or learning materials that are not yet known.

Abstract

Keaktifan belajar siswa merujuk pada perilaku dan aktivitas mereka selama pembelajaran. Salah satu cara meningkatkannya adalah dengan menggunakan media berbasis multimodal, yang mengintegrasikan berbagai jenis media seperti audio, teks, gambar, video, dan animasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis keaktifan siswa dalam penggunaan media berbasis multimodal pada pembelajaran struktur lapisan bumi. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SD Islam Sultan Agung 02 Semarang dengan subjek penelitian kelas VB. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik kualitatif meliputi pengumpulan, reduksi, penyajian, dan menyimpulkan. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh, siswa lebih aktif dan tidak pasif. kelompok A memenuhi 9 dari 10 indikator, kelompok B memenuhi 8 dari 10 indikator, kelompok C memenuhi 8 dari 10 indikator, kelompok D memenuhi 6 dari 10 indikator. Dari 10 indikator keaktifan siswa, indikator mengajukan pertanyaan kepada guru dan siswa lain yang belum memenuhi keterlibatan siswa.

Abstract

Learning should not be limited to the delivery of theoretical material, academic facts, or mere knowledge. Instead, it should be designed to provide opportunities for students to develop a wide range of essential competencies. This study aims to describe the implementation of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) model as an innovative approach in mathematics learning to improve the arithmetic skills of third-grade students at SD Islam Sultan Agung 4. This research is a case study with a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing techniques. Data validity was ensured through triangulation of sources, theories, researchers, techniques/methods, and time. The findings show that the implementation of the TGT model in mathematics learning involved three stages: planning, implementation, and evaluation. Through this model, students’ arithmetic abilities improved, as evidenced by increased performance in indicators such as understanding subtraction concepts, completing missing numbers, and applying various problem-solving strategies. Furthermore, students were able to solve word problems systematically and apply subtraction concepts in daily life.

Abstract

Reading is a vital skill in Indonesian language learning that requires comprehension, analysis, and active engagement. Therefore, reading strategies play a crucial role in making the reading process more effective. This study aims to explain the implementation of interactive reading strategies in Indonesian language instruction to develop the critical thinking skills of third-grade elementary school students. The research employs a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data collection techniques include observation, questionnaires, and documentation. The data were analyzed by identifying patterns related to the research objectives. Data triangulation was carried out through sources, theories, researchers, techniques or methods, and time. The implementation of interactive reading strategies in Indonesian language learning has shown a positive impact on the development of students’ critical thinking skills. Through well-prepared planning, organized implementation, and structured evaluation, this strategy increases student engagement in reading and discussion. Indicators of critical thinking developed among students include the ability to ask critical questions, provide reasoning, and draw conclusions, demonstrating that the strategy effectively enhances critical thinking skills. Although there were some inhibiting factors, such as limited time and varying student abilities, supporting factors like teacher involvement and student collaboration helped address these challenges.

Abstract

Speaking skills are a fundamental component of students’ communication development; however, they are often overlooked in elementary school instruction. This study investigates the effectiveness of the chain storytelling strategy in enhancing the speaking skills of third-grade students at SDN Waru. Employing a qualitative case study design, data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis followed the processes of data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing, as suggested by Miles and Huberman. The results indicate that the chain storytelling strategy positively influences students’ speaking abilities. It encourages active participation in oral communication, improves articulation and diction, reduces anxiety about speaking in front of peers, and enhances creativity in narrative construction. These findings align with Vygotsky’s social constructivist theory, which underscores the role of social interaction in learning, and Rogers’ (2003) diffusion of innovations theory, which explains how new strategies are adopted in educational settings. This study highlights the necessity of employing interactive learning strategies and the importance of a supportive classroom environment in fostering students' speaking confidence. It recommends targeted training for teachers in implementing innovative methods and suggests further research involving a broader scope and larger sample to validate and expand upon these findings.
