Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the influence of Islamic stock understanding and financial behavior on the intention to purchase Islamic stocks at PT FAC Sekuritas. The method used in this study is a quantitative method, and the data analysis method used is the coefficient of determination test. The sample in this study was 94 samples of FEBI students at UIN STS Jambi class of 2019-2021, by distributing Likert scale questionnaires. The results of the study show that understanding of Islamic stocks (X1) has a significant positive effect on the intention to purchase Islamic stocks (Y). This is evidenced by the value of Tcount 4.379 > Ttable 1.661 and a Sig value of 0.001 <0.05, which means that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Financial Behavior (X2) shows that there is a significant positive influence on the intention to purchase Islamic stocks (Y). This is evidenced by the tcount value of the minimum capital variable of 3.480 > 1.661 with a significance value of 0.001 <0.05, so it can be concluded that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. Understanding of sharia stocks and financial behavior together have a significant effect on the intention to buy sharia stocks. It is known that the significance values ​​for (X1) and (X2) simultaneously affect (Y) of 0.000 <0.005 and the value of Fcount > Ftable (34.631 > 3.10). So it can be concluded that Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected. This means that the higher the level of understanding of Islamic stocks and the better financial behavior, the higher the interest of students in purchasing Islamic stocks at PT FAC Sekuritas.

Abstract

In the current era of globalization, many trading activities are carried out with the help of technology. With the emergence of internet echnology, people's lives have become easier, one of which is online shopping. The practical advantage of online shopping is that with the help of internet technology it can be done anywhere, anytime and without limits. Thus, online shopping applications can always see the products available there. Product quality, price and promotion are one of several factors that influence consumer considerations in purchasing decisions. Quality products at affordable prices and lots of promotions will attract people's interest. The purpose of this research is to find out and analyze The effect of product quality, price and promotions on purchasing decisions in the shopee marketplace. The research method used is descriptive quantitative. The samples taken were 100 respondents Using proportionate stratified random sampling technique. This study used the SPSS calculator version 22. The results showed that product quality, price and promotion had a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions at the Shopee marketplace. Based on data analysis in this study, these variables are valid and reliable. In testing the classical assumptions of this study, the distribution is normal, there is no heteroscedasticity and multicollinearity.

Abstract

In today's digital era, the economy is a very important aspect for every human life in order to meet every need such as clothing, food and shelter. In Islam, every human being is encouraged to compete in trying, but Islam underlines that the intended effort should be in terms of goodness not the other way around which can plunge people into satanic acts. In this study the method used is a qualitative method. The informants in this study were eight traders and three buyers. The type of data used is primary data with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews and documentation. Checking the validity of the data is done by testing the internal validity (credibility), preparing a triangulation plan, identifying informants and participants. Based on the results of this study indicate that the competition between traders in the Keramat Tinggi Market, Muara Bulian District includes five principles, namely unity (unity), balance (fairness), free will, responsibility, and truth. Of the five principles, most of the business competition activities carried out by traders are in accordance with Islamic business ethics, although there are some traders who carry out unfair business competition and conflict with Islamic business ethics, namely traders with large capital, setting prices below the prices of other traders and there are Merchants who report that the quality is not in accordance with their merchandise with the aim of turning off other traders and can harm the buyer. In implementing the five principles of Islamic business ethics there are obstacles to the principle of responsibility because there are some traders who actually provide insurance or compensation to the buyer if there is a defect in the goods and also some do not provide insurance to the buyer if there is a defect in the goods. But this happens not for the sole reason of making a profit, but to minimize the losses that occur.

Abstract

Technological advances have had a great impact on the development of production and product marketing innovation. The purpose of this study is to analyze how much technological advances have had an impact on product production and marketing innovation in 4 batik entrepreneurs, Danau Teluk District, Jambi City. The research method used is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. Data was collected through observations and interviews with batik producers, batik traders and visitors to the batik market in Danau Teluk District of Jambi City. The results showed that technological advances have had a major impact on the innovation of production and marketing of the products of 4 batik entrepreneurs in Danau Teluk District, Jambi City. Production innovation through the use of technological advances opens up new opportunities for batik makers to quickly create various motifs, designs and be more efficient and effective. Meanwhile, marketing innovations through the use of the internet and social media have allowed batik entrepreneurs to reach a wider market, making it easier for consumers to shop online. Technological innovation has had a positive impact, but efforts are still needed to develop innovation through technological advances in the production and marketing of products of 4 batik entrepreneurs in Lake Teluk District, Jambi City, the development of innovation through technological advances in the production and marketing of batik products constrained by the strength of capital, human resources and knowledge of technological advances.

Abstract

This research aims to find out what factors cause more women to sell at the Aurduri market, how women contribute to helping their family's economy, and to find out the obstacles faced by women traders at the Aurduri market. This research uses qualitative methods, with data collection techniques through observation interviews and documentation. The results of the research show that there are three factors that cause women to sell more at the Aurduri market, namely: first, the family economic factor, where the husband's income is insufficient for daily living needs. The second factor is education and age, where female traders who have low education and are quite old and do not have the qualifications to work in other places, because they are old, but they are still fit and productive to work, decide to become traders at the Aurduri market. The three self-actualization factors from the research show that the informants admitted that they enjoyed selling at the market because apart from being able to meet friends, filling in their free time also increased their income. The contribution of female traders to the family is classified as medium to high, which can be seen from the results of their sales which are used for daily needs, to increase family income, and also for savings. There are two obstacles faced by women traders, namely the weather conditions when it falls, secondly, the large number of home-scale vegetable sellers competes with the prices and completeness of goods which are available in almost every neighborhood and housing complex, especially on the road to the Aurduri market.

Abstract

Beauty care has become a crucial necessity in modern society, not only for enhancing appearance but also for skin health. The inundation of the market with beauty products and advertisements creates a strong urge for individuals, especially women, to consume beauty products and services for desired appearances. In efforts to attract consumers, beauty business owners strive to provide the best services to fulfill consumer satisfaction. Consumer satisfaction becomes the primary focus for consumer- oriented companies, with consumer loyalty formed from a combination of satisfaction and complaint handling. Consumers, as key players in the business ecosystem, play a significant role in determining product acceptance in the market. Product quality is a crucial factor in creating customer loyalty, with perceived quality by customers playing a crucial role in enhancing satisfaction and ultimately strengthening customer loyalty. Therefore, a deep understanding of consumer needs and preferences, along with efforts to maintain high product quality, is key to successfully building long-term customer loyalty.

Abstract

The development of information technology has changed the way customers think about conducting banking transactions, where they prioritize ease, flexibility, efficiency, and simplicity. Mobile banking is one of the services provided by banks to enable customers to carry out their banking activities at any time without having to visit the bank in person. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of service features and ease of use on the interest in using BSI Mobile among students of the Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business at Universitas Islam Negeri Sulthan Thaha Saifuddin Jambi.This research uses a quantitative approach. The population of the study consists of 336 respondents, and a random sampling technique was employed, selecting participants based on the region of the research object. The data analysis technique used to answer the research questions is multiple linear regression analysis using the SPSS program.The t-test results indicate that the service feature variable has a t-value greater than the t-table, specifically 190.629 > 3.02, meaning Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. This implies that there is a significant effect of service features on interest. Similarly, the ease of use variable has a t-value greater than the t-table, specifically 4.421 > 1.967, meaning Ho1 is accepted and Ho2 is rejected. This shows that ease of use significantly influences the interest in using BSI Mobile.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the level of welfare of fishermen in Rantau Rasau Village, the number of informants in this study were 2 informants, namely the village government and fishing communities. The type of this research is descriptive qualitative with primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques in this study used observation, documentation and interview techniques, while for data analysis the researchers used data reduction, data presentation and verification. The results of this study explain the level of welfare of the fishing community in Rantau Rasau Village where there are seven indicators of welfare as and three indicators of welfare have been fulfilled by fishermen in Ranatu Rasau Village, namely: family health, transportation facilities and social participation, from the levels that have been fulfilled there are four indicators of welfare that have not been met, namely: the state of residence, housing facilities, income and consumption and the ease of sending children to school.

Abstract

This research is titled "The Influence of Working Hours, Income, and Job Protection on the Welfare of Online Motorcycle Taxi Drivers (A Study on Grab Drivers in Jambi City)." The objectives of this study are: 1) To explain the effect of working hours on the welfare of Grab drivers in Jambi City. 2) To explain the effect of income on the welfare of Grab drivers in Jambi City. 3) To explain the effect of job protection on the welfare of Grab drivers in Jambi City. 4) To explain the combined effect of working hours, income, and job protection on the welfare of Grab drivers in Jambi City. The research method used by the researcher is a quantitative approach. The results of this study are: 1) From the regression test, it was found that working hours do not have a significant effect on the welfare of Grab drivers in Jambi City. 2) From the regression test, it was found that income significantly affects the welfare of Grab drivers in Jambi City. 3) From the regression test, it was found that job protection significantly affects the welfare of Grab drivers in Jambi City. 4) Simultaneously, working hours, income, and job protection significantly affect the welfare of Grab drivers in Jambi City.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of operating expense budget and revenue budget on financial performance at PT Sinar Mas SMART Tbk. This research is a type of quantitative research. The sample uses purposive sampling method, namely the company's Gross Profit Margin (GMP) as well as the operating expense and revenue budgets for the 2015-2021 period. The data were analyzed by multiple linear regression and hypothesis testing using the t-test and R2 test with the help of SPSS 24.0 for windows software. The results showed that: The Operating Cost Budget partially has a significant effect on financial performance, this can be seen from the significance value (P Value) 0.003 which is smaller than 0.05. Budget Revenue partially has a significant effect on financial performance with a significance level (P Value) of 0.006 which is smaller than 0.05. And the contribution value of the coefficient of determination (Adjusted R-Square) of 0. 803 which means that the variation that occurs in the dependent variable (Financial performance) is 80.3% influenced by the independent variable (Operating cost budget and revenue budget) the rest is 19.7% (100% - 80.3%) while the rest is influenced by other factors.
