Abstract

This study examines the impact of Talent Retention and Competency Development Programs on Turnover Intention and Organizational Effectiveness in banking companies in Central Java, utilizing a quantitative analysis with a sample size of 140 respondents. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM-PLS 3). The results show that both Talent Retention and Competency Development Programs positively influence Organizational Effectiveness, respectively. However, an unexpected positive relationship between Competency Development Programs and Turnover Intention suggests that employees may feel more competitive in the job market, prompting higher turnover intentions despite enhanced skills. Moreover, Talent Retention significantly reduces turnover intention. The findings emphasize the importance of a strategic approach to talent management that aligns competency development with employee satisfaction and organizational culture. The study provides actionable insights for banking companies seeking to enhance organizational performance while mitigating turnover risks.

Abstract

The telecommunications industry has been undergoing a wave of transformation due to fundamental shifts in consumer behavior, rapid technological innovation, and increasing market competition. For PT Telkom Indonesia, these changes have posed significant challenges, particularly in the Enterprise segment, where performance has declined in recent years. Objectives: This paper analyzes the relationship between business portfolio configuration, B2B IT digital strategy, and business performance at PT Telkom Indonesia, emphasizing the intermediary role that digital innovation plays in linking strategic initiatives to performance achievements.Methodology: Employing a quantitative design, data were drawn from 136 respondents occupying managerial positions in Telkom Indonesia’s business units. The research model was tested using PLS-SEM facilitated by SmartPLS 4.0, aiming to capture both direct linkages and the mediating impact of digital innovation across variables.Finding: The analysis shows that while the structuring of the business portfolio does not significantly enhance business performance, the deployment of B2B IT digital strategy has a notable positive effect. Furthermore, digital innovation critically shapes organizational outcomes by serving as both a direct contributor and a mediator, reinforcing its strategic importance in converting planned initiatives into measurable value. Conclusion: The study reveals that innovation is fundamental to strategic success. Rather than being determined solely by the formulation of business portfolios or digital strategies, Telkom Indonesia’s performance is significantly influenced by the firm's capability to operationalize these strategies through continuous innovation. These insights reinforce the critical need for digital transformation initiatives to fully integrate innovation into strategic execution frameworks.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the importance of improving product quality as a key factor in maintaining a company’s competitiveness in the digital printing industry. One of the main determinants of product quality improvement lies in the work culture and customer focus implemented within the organization. CV Digital Printing, as a company engaged in printing services, must ensure that both aspects function effectively to produce products that meet customer needs and expectations. However, based on preliminary observations, inconsistencies were found in the implementation of work culture, as well as suboptimal long-term relationships with customers, which affect the quality of production outcomes. The research problems formulated in this study are: (1) How are the work culture, customer focus, and product quality at CV Digital Printing? (2) To what extent do work culture and customer focus partially and simultaneously influence product quality? The research method used is quantitative with an associative–verificative approach. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to employees of CV Digital Printing and analyzed using path analysis with the help of SPSS version 26. Validity, reliability, and normality tests were conducted to ensure the accuracy and feasibility of the research model. The results of the study show that, descriptively, work culture, customer focus, and product quality are categorized as fairly good, indicating room for improvement. Verificatively, work culture and customer focus have a positive and significant effect on product quality, both partially and simultaneously. The combination of a conducive work culture and strong customer focus creates a positive synergy that contributes to the improvement of product quality and the company’s competitiveness.

Abstract

Personal and public data have become essential elements in modern business operations. The digitalization of information allows data to be used as a foundation for decision-making, particularly in business development. When properly utilized, collected data can inform strategic decisions across various functions, including marketing. Widely dispersed data can be transformed into valuable insights through the analysis of raw information (big data). Moreover, the application of business intelligence (BI) enhances these insights, converting them into strategic knowledge that organizations can apply effectively across business development areas. This study focuses on three key variables: the independent variable (big data), the dependent variable (marketing strategy development), and the moderating variable (business intelligence). In the fuel retail industry, marketing strategy development requires a comprehensive analysis of big data and business intelligence. Companies must prioritize personal data (customer information), public data (societal sentiment), and internal data to develop effective marketing strategies. The integration of big data as a foundational information source, combined with BI analysis, is shown to enhance the effectiveness of marketing strategy development. This research demonstrates that big data significantly influences marketing strategy formulation. Additionally, when business intelligence is effectively implemented alongside big data, it amplifies this impact. Organizations in the fuel retail sector are especially reliant on consumer preferences and public sentiment, making the development of robust big data and BI analytics systems crucial for strategic marketing success.

MSMEs are the most vital sector as a support for the regional economy in creating jobs. West Bandung Regency makes a major contribution to economic activities by continuing to increase the number of industries and SMEs that contribute to providing employment opportunities. This study uses a qualitative method, so what is taken from this explanatory research is its descriptive-holistic nature and the use of the theoretical basis used in the research framework. Thus, the authors hope to find the depth of interpretation of the data and test the theoretical criteria used in this study. The study that the researcher conducts The case study is one of the research methods that is carried out in-depth examination rather than generalizing to a situation or phenomenon called a case by using systematic methods of observing, collecting data, analyzing information, and reporting the results. As a result, you will get a deep understanding of why something happens and can be the basis for further research with a single case study, data collected through observation and in-depth interviews, and documentation to produce the best conclusions and can be an argument for researchers. The results of the study indicate that job characteristic and entrepreneurial competencies have not been able to fully support the improvement of SME performance. This is because the number of SMEs in West Bandung Regency is less developed there are still many of the products they offer the same, resulting in high competition among SMEs, and for buyers, there is no other choice. The results of the study can be concluded that the characteristics of work and entrepreneurial competence as an effort to improve the performance of SMEs have not been achieved, West Bandung SMEs need to be developed and managed properly and there is a cooperation between SMEs actors and the relevant government.
