Abstract

The purpose of writing this paper is to fulfill lecture assignments and describe one's loyalty in a campursari song with the title Banyu Langit, which was created by Didi Kempot. As a singer, Didi Kempot describes how someone who really misses his lover who never leaves but he still remembers and loves his lover. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The research data is in the form of campursari song lyrics which express a person's loyalty and patience in waiting for his lover. The theory used is a semiotic study which explains the meaning contained in literary works, because every literary work has its own meaning. The result of this study is that there is a patient attitude of someone who waits for his lover with all the longing and loyalty for the sake of waiting for the lover he loves so much. Loyalty of someone who keeps his promise to stay in love and loyal to his lover by holding back longing to wait for the lover who left and never came home. The effort that a person makes in waiting for his loved one to return is proof of one's loyalty to his partner as a form of deep love and longing for his loved one.

Abstract

The purpose of writing this scientific paper is to fulfill lecture assignments in order to develop writing skills and describe a person's character based on interactions between characters in a short story literary work or it can also be called cerkak. The story comes from a Javanese-language magazine published in 2019. However, what will be discussed in this scientific paper is the one with the title Didongake Malah Nesu which was created by Djaid Belor. The method used in this research is qualitative. Research data in the form of cerkak texts sourced from Javanese-language magazines published in 2019 tells of the reality of a husband and wife as officials who were accidentally prayed for by foreigners. The theory used is literary psychology that focuses on the behavior of characters that clearly describe the character's character. The results of this study are to find out the inner conflict that occurs in each character, to know the psychological condition of the character and the psychology of the author through the plot of the short story. Each character has a different role and response to the events they face to make the story interesting. This behavior becomes a reference for knowing the character's character through conversations and interactions between characters.

Abstract

This research was written with the aim to determine the lyric structure of the song in the album Cidro Asmoro using the study of Structuralism. The structure in the lyrics of this song consists of physical structure and inner structure. Physical structure is the structure of the builder of a poem that is physical or fit in the form of word order. While the inner structure is the structure of the poet builder from within or contains the meaning that the author wants to express. The research method used to analyze the physical structure and the inner structure uses a qualitative descriptive method. The data used in this study are words, phrases, and sentences in the lyrics of the song Cidro Asmoro that refer to the structure of the builder. The results found in this study is that there is a physical structure in the form of majas, recitation, diction, concrete words and rhyme in the lyrics of songs in the album Cidro Asmoro. Majas or language styles found include majas personification, metaphor, association, allegory and hyperbole. In addition, also found imagery or imagery in the form of imagery of sight, hearing, taste, touch and movement. The inner structure in the lyrics of Cidro Asmoro's album has themes, tastes, tones and messages. Selection of lyrics and words from Cidro Asmoro's album has a unique characteristic to convey the feelings experienced by the author. This feeling can be from love, disappointment, confusion, anger and even enthusiasm. Cidro Asmoro's album contains the story of a man's love struggle who ultimately has to give up his lover with another man.

Abstract

The problem discussed in this study is the structural cerkak Cobaning Asmara which aims to describe and explain the author's worldview regarding the existence of Poerwadhie and the concept of true love contained in the cerkak Cobaning Asmara. This research is an analytical research to examine the contents of the cerkak, the author's worldview, and the concept of true love from the cerkak by using a qualitative descriptive method through a sociological approach to literature. The script used to examine the content is the Cobaning Asmara cerkak. This analysis stage starts from the reading stage, document recording, to document analysis. Data analysis techniques used include data collection, data presentation, and conclusion. Data collection techniques using textual techniques (library). The results of the study show that the author's worldview in cerkak cobaning romance includes (1) the Javanese view related to oneself, (2) the Javanese view related to others, (3) the concept of true love. The results of this study are structural in the cerkak cobaning romance, namely: Theme, this cerkak takes the theme of the struggle of a Titinastiti and Poewardhie in going through various trials in their relationship to the point of being together following their love and ideals. Characters and characterizations, the main character in this novel is Poewardhie, and the characterizations are described physically and physically. Setting, this story takes place in Yogyakarta. The plot used is mixed, but it is more advanced with a third-person omniscient point of view. This cerkak mandate is to be diligent and serious in dealing with life, not to give up and be determined to do something.

Abstract

The purpose of writing this paper is to fulfil lecture assignments and to describe allegorical language style and units of style in the geguritan entitled Kori by Krishna Miharja. As a poet, Krishna Miharja not only writes geguritan, but also short stories (cerkak). Although he wrote a lot of geguritan, Krishna is better known among Javanese writers as a witty writer. Because of the cerkak Krishna's works, which tend to be surrealistic and contain social and political criticism, they are considered as other colours in Javanese literature. The method used in this research is the content analysis method. The research data is in the form of Kori's geguritan text which tells the number of choices that must be chosen in life by being expressed using an allegorical language style. The theory used is a stylistic study which explains the style of language used in literature to reveal the message or meaning conveyed by the author in his literary work. The result of this research is that there is a story about the way of life that must be chosen among the many choices of life paths that exist. Life has many choices and humans are only trying to get the best and worthy choice for their lives.

Abstract

Students' lack of interest in learning to write the text of the Class X newspaper depends on the completeness of the content (elements of the newspaper), spelling and punctuation, and structure of the newspaper. This study aims to describe the results of applying the project-based learning model in learning to write news texts for Class X students of SMA N 01 Tanjung in the 2023-2024 academic year. This study is included in the experimental research with the descriptive quantitative approach. The data obtained in this study were collected by observation (observation) and questionnaire (questionnaire), while purposive sampling was used. The type used in this study is a one-shot case study. After data analysis, the results of this study are as follows: 1) in the aspect of knowledge, there are 28 students, or 78%, who obtained scores above the KKM, while 8 students, or 22%, have not completed the KKM. From the percentage, the completeness of the value was obtained at 77.27. 2). In the aspect of skills, there were 30 students, or 83%, obtained grades above KKM, while 6 students, or 17%, had not reached KKM completeness. From the present, the completeness value was obtained by 81.33. Thus, applying the project-based learning model in learning to write news text for class X9 students can influence the achievement of the specified learning goals.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the philosophical meanings embedded in the panyandra text during the panggih ceremony in Javanese traditional weddings. The objective of the research is to understand the reflection of cultural values, the knowledge conveyed by the panyandra text, and the essence experienced by the bride and groom in their marital bond. The research employs a qualitative text analysis method, enabling a deep exploration of the meanings within the panyandra text in the context of the panggih ceremony. The findings reveal that the panyandra text not only conveys cultural values and the essence of marriage but also contains implicit prayers and supplications that reflect the desire for strong life guidance, adequate wisdom, and closeness to God in seeking divine approval. Furthermore, the philosophical meanings found in the panyandra text, particularly in the balangan gantal, midak antiga/wiji dadi, and wijikan sections, emphasize that the creation of a harmonious household and the fulfillment of marital goals can only be achieved through pure love, sincerity, selflessness, and the upholding of tolerance.The theoretical implications of this study underscore the depth of the philosophical meanings in the panyandra text during the panggih ceremony in Javanese traditional weddings, which are relevant to cultural, religious, and social norms. This research is expected to enrich public knowledge of Javanese culture and contribute to cultural revitalization, particularly in the fields of cultural anthropology, Javanese literature, and traditional ceremonies.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the mechanism interculturalism in “Serat Sastra Gendhing”, which is focused on the mechanisms acculturation.  This research is motivated by the concept that the Suluk is a product of cultural contacts. In order to achieve the objectives of the study, we used the method of literature with a qualitative approach and supported the theory  interculturalism. The results of this research is the discovery of variations mention of God that is the product of contact Javanese culture, Hinduism, and Islam. Variations of the name of God found them are Hyang, Widdhi, Hyang Manon, Pangeran, Allah Kudusul Almi, and Gusti Allah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan mekanisme interkulturalisasi dalam Serat Sastra Gendhing, yang difokuskan pada mekanisme akuturasi. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh konsep bahwa sastra suluk merupakan produk dari kontak budaya. Guna mencapai tujuan penelitian tersebut, maka digunakan metode kepustakaan dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan didukung dengan teori interkulturalisasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah ditemukannya berbagai variasi penyebutan nama Tuhan yang merupakan produk dari kontak budaya Jawa, Hindu, dan Islam. Variasi nama Tuhan yang ditemukan diantaranya adalah Hyang, Widdhi, Hyang Manon, Pangeran, Allah Kudusul Almi, dan Gusti Allah.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to implement a bullying and violence prevention application in a partner school to create a Child-Friendly School (CFS). The main issue identified is the lack of shared perception and commitment among school personnel, students, and parents regarding the concept of bullying. The methods used include socialization, training, mentoring, as well as monitoring and evaluation. The results of the activity show an increase in understanding and commitment of all parties in preventing bullying, as well as the formation of a more effective prevention mechanism. The importance of these results is to build a safe and comfortable school environment for all students, and ultimately to achieve the vision of child-friendly education in Semarang City

Abstract

Child-friendly school (CFS) has been interesting topic in years. But unfortunately, most of the schools that put this branding as friendly schools do not apply it properly. The CFS team from Universitas PGRI Semarang concerned on sharing information about the application of CFS on vocational school to the school’s team (stakeholders, teachers, education staffs, students, parents, and school committee) of Kartika Aqasa Bhakti Semarang aviation vocational school so they get the same perception on CFS. The school itself apply semi military activities in their daily activitieshe training was an implementation of the Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) as a reinforcement for the Independent Curriculum (Kurikulum Merdeka Belajar). The methods used are socialization, training, mentoring, monitoring, and evaluation. The results achieved were 90% of the school team had the same perception regarding the implementation of the children's rights convention and the SRA (Sekolah Ramah Anak, children-friendly school-CFS)  concept in schools, and there was an increase in the understanding and ability of the CFS Driving Team about the implementation of the children's rights convention and the implementation of CFS in schools by 95% and 90%.  This service activity shows that training can increase the awareness and ability of the CFS Team to implement CRC and CFS concepts in schools.
