Abstract

AbstrakTransformasi digital di dunia pendidikan saat ini menuntut guru untuk memiliki keterampilan dalam memanfaatkan teknologi guna meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran. Digitalisasi proses pembelajaran tersebut salah satunya yaitu pada proses evaluasi hasil pembelajaran. Tujuan dari pelatihan penggunaan aplikasi quizizz adalah untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam mengintegrasikan teknologi ke dalam proses belajar mengajar melalui pemanfaatan fitur-fitur interaktif yang disediakan oleh quizizz. Peserta pelatihan adalah guru SMA Negeri 1 Eris sebanyak 11 guru dan 2 staf tata usaha. Pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dilaksanakan dengan beberapa tahapan yaitu persiapan, sosialisasi, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi kegiatan. Kegiatan dilakukan dengan metode ceramah, tanya jawab, dan demonstrasi. Pelatihan ini menggunakan teknik praktik secara langsung untuk memberikan pengalaman kepada guru mengenai penggunaan aplikasi quizizz untuk alat evaluasi pembelajaran. Hasil pelatihan ini menunjukkan peningkatan keterampilan guru dalam menggunakan aplikasi quizizz, dibuktikan dengan hasil analisis N-Gain sebesar 0,85 dalam kategori tinggi dengan interpretasi sebesar 85,00% dalam kategori efektif. Pelatihan penggunaan aplikasi quizizz ini memberikan dampak pada keterampilan guru dalam menggunakan aplikasi quizizz sehingga mampu mengimplementasikan pembelajaran digital yang lebih interaktif, efisien, dan berbasis data. Peningkatan keterampilan digital guru tersebut berdampak pada peningkatan partisipasi siswa dan kualitas pembelajaran secara keseluruhan. Kata kunci: pelatihan; pembelajaran digital; quizizz; teknologi. Abstract Digital transformation in education today requires teachers to have the skills to utilise technology to improve learning effectiveness. One of the digitalisation of the learning process is the evaluation of learning outcomes. The purpose of the training on the use of the Quizizz application is to improve teachers' competence in integrating technology into the teaching and learning process through the utilisation of interactive features provided by Quizizz. The training participants were 13 teachers from SMA Negeri 1 Eris. The implementation of community service activities was carried out in several stages, namely preparation, socialisation, implementation, and evaluation of activities. Activities were conducted using lecture, question and answer, and demonstration methods. This training uses hands-on techniques to gave teachers experience in using the quizizz application for learning evaluation tools. The results of this training show an increased teacher skill in using the quizizz application, as evidenced by the variety of question and quiz designs that have been created. This training on the use of the quizizz application has an impact on teacher skills in using the quizizz application so that they are able to implement digital learning that is more interactive, efficient, and data-based. The improvement of teachers' digital skills has an effect on increasing student participation and the overall quality of learning. Keywords: training; digital learning; quizizz; technology.

Abstract

Some 21st century skills that must be possessed by students are critical thinking and communication skills. This study aims to determine the effect of using the Engineering Design Process (EDP) learning model on learning outcomes, critical thinking skills and student communication skills. The approach used is the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) approach. The method used in this research is experimental method (one group pretest posttest). The research subjects were undergraduate students of Science Education, Universitas Negeri Manado. The results showed that the average percentage value of N-gain was 59.57% with a fairly effective category. 88.10% of the overall mean score of students' critical thinking skills with excellent category. As much as 82.14% of the average score obtained on student communication skills with excellent category. It can be concluded that the application of EDP learning model with STEM approach can improve learning outcomes, critical thinking skills and student communication. This study contributes to the development of innovative learning by proving that the STEM-based EDP model effectively improves student learning outcomes, critical thinking, and communication. These findings support the integration of 21st-century skills in science education to create more applicable and collaborative learning.

Abstract

Students' communication skills are very important in implementing the merdeka curriculum, especially in science subjects which are relevant to students' daily lives. Merdeka curriculum in science learning directs teachers to create contextual learning contexts to develop students' abilities in explaining ideas and understanding based on facts and logical reasoning through the question and answer method. This research explores the factors inhibiting students' communication skills in the question and answer method in science learning using the merdeka curriculum. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study type of research in class 8D of Diponegoro Islamic Junior High School Surakarta academic year 2023/2024. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and questionnaires. Data analysis uses the Miles, Huberman, and Saldana analysis models: data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing. The research results show that the factors inhibiting students' communication skills consist of understanding the material, self-confidence, interest, and motivation as well as content and learning context which are still conceptual. It is hoped that the results of the research can provide information and input for teachers to improve the quality of learning by improving the content and learning context so that students are interested and attracted to science learning.

Abstract

Abstract : Project based learning (PJBL) is one of the most organized learning models in the field of science.PJBL learning model based on stem approach aims to improve students’ problem-solving skills.Problem-solving skills are a basic skill that students need to make the right decisions. Certified, and systematically, Logic, and can be considered from a point of view.Problem-solving skills will help students in pursuing global competition in the 21st century.The method used is a quantitative method with the purpose of research to identify the implementation of a stem-based pjbl model against problem-solving skills measured based on 4 indicators.Research was carried out on SMP students of the 5th grade.Data collection techniques using tests.Research results showed that critical thinking skills gained by 83.61% with good categories.Abstrak : Project Based Learning (PjBL) merupakan salah satu model pembelajaran yang dianjurkan dalam pembelajaran bidang Sains. Model pembelajaran PjBL berbasis pendekatan STEM bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan pemecahan masalah siswa. Keterampilan pemecahan masalah adalah suatu keterampilan dasar yang sangat dibutuhkan siswa dalam membuat keputusan yang tepat, cermat, sistematis, logis, dan dapat mempertimbangkan dari sudut pandang. Keterampilan pemecahan masalah akan membantu siswa dalam mengikuti persaingan secara global di abad 21. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dengan tujuan penelitian untuk mengidentifikasi implementasi model PjBL berbasis STEM terhadap keterampilan pemecahan masalah yang diukur berdasarkan 4 indikator.  Penelitian dilaksanakan pada siswa SMP kelas VIII. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan keterampilan berpikir kritis diperoleh sebesar 83,61% dengan kategori baik.
