Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe students’ metacognition level in solving scientific literacy. This research use the descriptive method. The subject of this research is 99 students of grade XI in SMA Batik 2 Surakarta. Data collection methods used are test methods which its instruments based on an indicator of scientific literacy and metacognition ability. Data analysis techniques use quantitative descriptive analysis. The results showed that the achievement of scientific literacy in science as a body of knowledge, science as a way of thinking, science as a way of investigating, and science as an interaction between technology and society is still low at below 35%. This is due to 84%  student occupy in low metacognition level that is 30% students in tacit use level, 54% students in aware use level, and only 16% students occupy in high metacognition level that is in strategic use level.

Abstract

ANALISIS KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KRITIS SISWA DALAM MENYELESAIKAN SOAL LITERASI SAINS BERDASARKAN TINGKAT KEMAMPUAN METAKOGNISIAbstractThe purpose of this study is to describe students critical tninking skill in solving scientific literacy based on metacognition ability. This research is descriptive research. The subject of this research is 99 students of grade XI in SMA Batik 2 Surakarta. Data collection methods used are test methods and questionnaires. Data analysis techniques use quantitative descriptive analysis. The results showed that the achievement of scientific literacy in science as a body of knowledge, science as a way of thinking, science a way of investigating, science as interaction between technology and society less than 50%. This is because the students' critical thinking skill in the assessment, inference and strategy in solving scientific literacy problem is still low that is below 20%. The low ability of critical thinking due to the students' metacognition level is still low, 84% of students are at the metacognition ability level on tacit use and awareness use and 16% of students on the strategic use level and no students on reflective use level.AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal literasi sains berdasarkan tingkat kemampuan metakognisi. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian deskriptif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 99 siswa kelas XI SMA Batik 2 Surakarta. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah metode tes dan angket. Teknik analisis data mengunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ketercapaian literasi sains pada kategori science as a body of knowledge, science as a way of thinking, science a way of investigating, science as interaction between technology and society tergolong rendah yakni dibawah 50%. Hal ini dikarenakan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada tahapan penilaian, inferensi dan strategi dalam menyelesaikan masalah literasi sains masih rendah yaitu dibawah 20%. Rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kritis dikarenakan tingkatan metakognisi siswa masih rendah yakni 84% siswa berada pada tingkat kemampuan metakognisi pada tacit use dan aware use dan 16% siswa pada tingkatan strategic use dan tidak ada siswa pada tingkatan reflective use.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze students mindset in solving a static fluid problem based on metacognition level. This research includes descriptive research. The subject of this research is 99 students of grade XI SMA Batik 2 Surakarta. Data collection methods used are test methods and questionnaires. Data analysis techniques using qualitative descriptive analysis. The results showed that students at the metacognition level of tacit use had a thinking pattern in identifying problems by experimenting based on what was already known, students at the metacognition level of aware use had a thought pattern of identifying problems and representing problems by explaining concepts, students at the metacognition level of strategic use have a mindset of identifying and formulating problems, representing problems and planning solutions for completion by proposing completion measures and students at the reflective use level having a mindset of identifying and formulating problems, representing problems, completion steps and evaluate results and completion by providing reasons for selection of settlement measures.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine the eligibility of integrated science learning module based on local potential on the topic of objects transformation.This research were developed by Borg and Gall method that modified into four step, that is : (1) front-end analysis, (2) designing module, (3) validation and revision, and (4) testing module and final revision. The design of field testing is The One Group Pretest-Posttest Design.The results show thatintegrated sciences module based potential local on the topic of objects transformation is proper to be applied in learning. This can be seen from the validation assesment criteria gets valid with a assesment scores reached 3,8 which is proper with BSNP’s criteria. The practically assesment shown from percentage 94,44% with a criteria pratice, indicating that the students are very gave a positive response, The effectiveness assesment shown from improvement student learning outcomes showed in the medium category indicated by the calculation of the gain score 0,4735. It could be concluded that the sciences module based potential local on the topic of objects transformation fit for use and effectively to increae the result of student learning. Abstract

Keterampilan generik sains dan kemampuan metakognisi merupakan kompetensi yang belum banyak dikembangkan oleh siswa. Oleh karena itu, tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menggambarkan peningkatan keterampilan generik sains dan kemampuan metakognisi melalui implementasi pembelajaran fisika berbasis STEM yang terintegrasi dengan potensi lokal. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang terdiri dari dua siklus. Model penelitian mengadopsi model siklus spiral dari Kemmis dan Mc Taggart yang mencakup empat tahap, yakni perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi dengan setiap siklus terdiri dari dua pertemuan. Subjek penelitian melibatkan 13 siswi kelas XI MIPA SMA Islam Diponegoro Surakarta pada tahun pelajaran 2019/2020. Instrumen untuk mengumpulkan data keterampilan generik sains melibatkan lembar observasi dan wawancara dengan 7 aspek, sementara data kemampuan metakognisi dikumpulkan melalui lembar soal yang terdiri dari 5 soal dengan setiap soal memuat tiga pertanyaan, yakni deklaratif, prosedural, dan kondisional. Analisis data yang diperoleh menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ketercapaian keterampilan generik sains pada siklus 1 sebesar 50,3% dan meningkat menjadi 80,2% pada siklus 2. Ketercapaian kemampuan metakognisi pada siklus 1 mencapai 49,0%, dan mengalami peningkatan menjadi 80,0% pada siklus 2. Hasil penelitian ini mendukung bahwa implementasi pendekatan STEM terintegrasi potensi lokal efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan generik sains dan kemampuan metakognisi dalam pembelajaran fisika.

Abstract

Evaluating the Impact of a Women's Empowerment Program on Environmental Sustainability through Eco-Friendly Fertilizer Production. The high potential in Grenden Village as a corn producer has the side effect of increasing corn plant waste. Most people do not utilize corn waste, especially corn cobs. Corn waste is rich in organic matter and can be reused for plant fertilization. Corn cobs can be used as an alternative fertilizer that can replace the role of chemical fertilizers. PPK Ormawa Team of HMPS S1 Science Education ASE held training for village residents through the Gayati Women's School to provide education and practical activities to residents to utilize corn waste as organic fertilizer. This research aims to evaluate the effectiveness of a training program in teaching local women to utilize corn cobs as organic fertilizer. This research was conducted using a descriptive qualitative method that focuses on describing the results obtained in real terms based on conditions in the field. Data were collected through observation, activity documentation, and interviews. The implementation of the activity was carried out in Grenden Village, Puger District in August 2024. The target of this activity was mothers who were members of the Gayatri Women's School, totaling around 20 people. The object of this activity is corn cobs which are one of the local wastes in Grenden Village. Evaluation of this activity through the results of the pretest and post-test shows that education and training in making fertilizer from Corn Cobs have a positive impact on the community such as waste reduction, economic improvement, soil health, and empowerment education.

Abstract

Desa Grenden memiliki potensi lokal berupa jagung sehingga di desa ini banyak ditemukan limbah jagung salah satunya yakni tongkol jagung. BPSIT Serealia menyebutkan bahwa produksi jagung di indonesia periode maret 2024 mencapai 2,29 juta ton. Pemupukan bertujuan untuk menghasilkan pertumbuhan tanaman yang lebih baik, selain menambah unsur hara makro dan mikro didalam tanah, hasil dan mutu tanaman dapat terjamin dengan baik. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif yang memfokuskan pada pendeskripsian hasil yang diperoleh secara nyata berdasarkan kondisi di lapangan. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik data primer dan sekunder. Tahapan pelaksanaan meliputi yaitu; survey desa, Perencanaan kegiatan, dan Pelaksanaan Kegiatan. Kandungan zat nutrisi dalam tongkol jagung yakni bahan kering 90,0%, Serta kasar 36,0%, Protein kasar 3,0%, Lemak kasar 0,5%, Abu 2,0%, TDN 48,0%, ADF 36,0%, NDF 39,0%, Ca 0,12%, dan P 0,04%. Kegiatan edukasi dan pengenalan pengolahan limbah tongkol jagung menjadi pupuk organik memberikan dampak positif jangka panjang, baik dari segi lingkungan maupun ekonomi.

Abstract

Kemampuan pemecahan masalah merupakan salah satu keterampilan esensial dalam pembelajaran IPA. Salah satu cara memberdayakan kemampuan pemecahan masalah melalui penerapan pembelajaran problem based learning bermuatan socio-scientific issue yang memberikan kesempatan siswa untuk terlibat secara aktif dalam proses pemecahan masalah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran konseptual terkait model pembelajaran PBL bermuatan SSI dalam memberdayakan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa pada pembelajaran IPA. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif berupa studi kepustakaan untuk mengembangkan kerangka konseptual melalui proses identifikasi dan analisis konsep. Pembelajaran PBL SSI terdiri dari 4 tahapan yaitu pendefinisian masalah, pembelajaran mandiri, investigasi, dan pertukaran pengetahuan. Pembelajaran PBL SSI dapat memberdayakan kemampuan pemecahan masalah pada dimensi identifikasi, analisis, ideasi, perancangan, prediksi, evaluasi. Beberapa teknik penilaian yang dapat digunakan untuk mengukur kemampuan pemecahan masalah dalam Pembelajaran PBL Bermuatan Socio-Scientific Issues (PBL-SSI) adalah penilaian portofolio, penilaian kinerja, dan ujian tertulis. Hasil penelitian ini  diharapkan  dapat  menjadi  acuan  penerapan  PBL SSI dalam memberdayakan kemampuan pemecahan masalah pada pembelajaran IPA. Implikasi penelitian ini dapat mendorong pendidik IPA dalam pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran, yang menekankan pentingnya pendekatan kontekstual dan interdisipliner untuk menumbuhkan keterampilan pemecahan masalah kompleks.

Abstract

Kurikulum merdeka merupakan kurikulum bebas terstruktur yang dikembangkan oleh guru dengan menyesuaikan karakteristik siswa serta kebutuhan yang diperlukan oleh siswa. Keberhasilan implementasi kurikulum merdeka bergantung pada TPACK guru dalam mengintegrasikan teknologi, pedagogi dan konten menjadi pembelajaran yang lebih bermakna. Pemerintah telah berupaya untuk meningkatkan TPACK guru melalui program kurikulum merdeka yang diinisiasi berdasarkan teori ZPTD (Zone Proximal Teacher Development) dan scaffolding agar kebijakan berjalan secara efektif dan efisien. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi teori scaffolding dan ZPTD dalam peningkatan TPACK guru pada program sekolah penggerak, program guru penggerak dan platform merdeka mengajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 4 tahapan ZPTD dalam kebijakan program kurikulum merdeka yaitu self-assistance melalui platform merdeka mengajar, expert other assistance, internalization, dan recursion melalui program sekolah penggerak dan program guru penggerak. Terdapat tiga jenis scaffolding yang digunakan dalam platform merdeka mengajar, program guru penggerak dan program sekolah penggerak yaitu feedback, questioning, dan cognitive structuring. Integrasi teori ZPTD dan scaffolding dalam program sekolah penggerak, program guru penggerak, dan platform merdeka mengajar diharapkan dapat meningkatkan TPACK guru dalam rangka peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran dan hasil pendidikan di Indonesia.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to measure students critical thinking skill in solving scientific literacy using a metacognitive test based on scientific literacy. This research is descriptive research. The subject of this research is 99 students of grade XI in SMA Batik 2 Surakarta. Data collection methods used are test methods which using a metacognitive test based on scientific literacy. Data analysis techniques use quantitative descriptive analysis. The results showed that the achievement of scientific literacy is still low at below 50% for all category. This is due to students critical thinking skill in solving all category of scientific literacy problem is still low. Low student critical thinking skill in solving science as a body of knowledge in the assessment stage with the percentage achievement is 21%. Low percentage achievement of critical thinking skill in solving science as a way of thinking is a clarification (34%), assessment (46%), inference (26%), and strategy (12%). Low percentage achievement of critical thinking skill in solving science as a way of investigating is assessment (39%), inference (5%), and strategy (6%). Low student critical thinking skill in solving science as an interaction between technology and society in the assessment stage with the percentage achievement is 31%
