Abstract

This study aims to determine the financial performance of PT. Semen Tonasa based on financial ratios using SOE Standards for the 2016-2020 period. This research is a quantitative descriptive study. The population in this research is the financial statements of PT. Semen Tonasa for the 2016-2020 period. The sample in this study is the statement of financial position and profit and loss of PT. Semen Tonasa Period 2016-2020. Data collection techniques in this study are using interviews and documentation techniques. The results of the research that has been done show that the financial ratio analysis of PT. Semen Tonasa (Persero) for the 2016-2020 period based on the Decree of the Minister of BUMN No: KEP-100/MBU/2002 it can be concluded that the financial performance in 2016-2020 earned the AA category with the HEALTHY predicate, except in 2017 it received the A category with the HEALTHY predicate, with a total score of 64.5 in 2016, 53 in 2017. 60.5 in 2018 and 59.5 in 2019-2020 years.

Abstract

Organizational effectiveness depends not only on employees fulfilling their formal roles but also on their willingness to engage in discretionary efforts, known as Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB). Promoting OCB is essential not only for private organizations but also for public institutions, which have come under increasing public scrutiny. Despite this urgency, limited attention has been paid to how organizational-level factors such as procedural justice influence OCB in public institutions. The purpose of this study is to assess how procedural justice influences OCB through perceived organizational support as a mediating variable, particularly within public institutions; the Fisheries and Marine Affairs Agency of South Sulawesi Province in Indonesia was selected as the study’s object. A quantitative cross-sectional method was employed, with employees stationed at the head office serving as the sample. The findings suggest that procedural justice influences OCB both directly and indirectly through perceived organizational support, and that perceived organizational support significantly affects OCB. Therefore, perceived organizational support only partially mediates the relationship between procedural justice and OCB.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of social media marketing on repurchase intention of Skintific products through perceived value by consumers, especially among students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Makassar State University. The type of research used in this study is quantitative research with an explanatory approach. The population in this study consisted of active students who use Skintific products, with a sample of 150 respondents selected using purposive sampling technique. Data collection was carried out through a Likert scale-based questionnaire distributed to respondents. The data collected is then processed using the SmartPLS 3.2.9 analysis tool and this research method uses Structural Equation Modeling - Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The results showed that social media marketing has a positive and significant influence on repurchase intentions. In addition, social media marketing also has a positive and significant effect on consumer perceived value. Perceived value of consumers is also proven to have a positive and significant effect on repurchase intentions. Further analysis shows that perceived value acts as a significant mediator in the relationship between social media marketing and repurchase intentions.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of organizational culture and the non-physical work environment on employee job satisfaction at the Tanete Rilau Sub-district Office, Barru Regency. The research adopts an associative quantitative approach with a saturated sampling technique, involving 32 employees as respondents. Data collection was conducted through observation and questionnaires, while data analysis utilized validity and reliability tests, descriptive analysis, multiple regression analysis, the coefficient of determination, classical assumption tests, and hypothesis testing using the Statistical Product and Service Solution (SPSS) software. The findings reveal that organizational culture and the non-physical work environment each have a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, both partially and simultaneously. The regression results indicate that the non-physical work environment exerts a more dominant influence compared to organizational culture. The coefficient of determination (R²) shows that 41% of the variation in employee job satisfaction is explained by these two variables, while the remaining 59% is influenced by other factors outside the model. These findings emphasize that strengthening a collaborative, communicative, and supportive organizational culture, along with creating a conducive non-physical work environment, are critical strategies for improving employee job satisfaction and ultimately enhancing the quality of public service delivery at the sub-district level. The study contributes practically by providing insights for local government institutions to design policies and interventions that foster motivation, loyalty, and productivity among employees.

Abstract

This study was conducted to analyze the influence of the live streaming feature and free shipping promo on impulse buying behavior for Somethinc brand beauty products on the Shopee e-commerce platform. The background of this study is based on the increasing competition in digital businesses, especially in the beauty industry, which encourages business actors to utilize creative marketing strategies to attract consumers' attention. The live streaming feature is present as an interactive media that allows sellers to communicate directly with buyers, show product authenticity, and create a more personalized shopping experience. Meanwhile, the free shipping promo is considered one of the most effective marketing strategies to encourage spontaneous purchasing decisions, because it can reduce the burden of additional costs that are usually a consumer consideration. The research method used is quantitative with a descriptive approach. The research sample consisted of 100 students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Makassar State University who had purchased Somethinc products through Shopee. Data collection was carried out using a structured questionnaire, then analyzed using multiple linear regression techniques to determine the effect of independent variables on the dependent variable. The results showed that both live streaming and the free shipping promo have a positive and significant influence on impulse buying. Live streaming can foster a sense of spontaneous buying desire because of its attractive, informative, and persuasive nature. On the other hand, the free shipping promotion is a powerful incentive for consumers to shop without much consideration. Simultaneously, these two factors contribute to increased consumer interest in Somethinc products on Shopee. This finding provides important implications for e-commerce and the beauty industry to further optimize digital marketing strategies based on interactivity and cost incentives to increase consumer impulse purchases.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of product quality and lifestyle on purchasing decisions for iPhone smartphones through purchase intention as an intervening variable. The sample used was 85 students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Makassar State University who had been selected based on predetermined criteria. Data collection techniques were carried out by questionnaires, interviews and literature studies. The data analysis technique consists of Outer Model (Measurement Model) which consists of Convergent Validity, Discriminant Validity and Composite Reliability, then Structural Model (Inner Model) and Hypothesis Test. Based on the results showed that the product quality variable has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions with a parameter coefficient of 0.192, a t-count value of 2.030, and a p-value of 0.043 <0.05. Lifestyle variables have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions with a parameter coefficient of 0.338, t-count value of 3.353 and p-value is 0.001 <0.05. product quality has a positive but insignificant effect on purchase intention with a parameter coefficient of 0.129, t-count value of 1.142 and p-value is 0.254>0.05. Lifestyle has a positive and significant effect on buying interest with a parameter coefficient of 0.558, a t-count value of 6.485 and a p-value of 0.000 <0.05. buying interest has a significant effect on purchasing decisions with a parameter coefficient of 0.558, a t-count value of 6.485 and a p-value of 0.000<0.05.

Abstract

"The influence of brand ambassadors and TikTok social media marketing on the decision to purchase Scarlett Whitening among Management Study Program students" Thesis of the Management Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Makassar State University. Supervised by Mrs. Hety Budiyanti and Mr. M. Ilham Wardhana Haeruddin.This research aims to determine the influence of brand ambassadors and TikTok social media marketing on purchasing decisions for Scarlett Whitening. The variables studied are brand ambassador and social media marketing as independent variables and purchasing decisions as the dependent variable. The population in this study were active students of the Management Study Program at Makassar State University with a sample using purposive sampling of 100 people. This research is quantitative research which was tested using the multiple linear regression method via SPSS 23.The results of this research show that brand ambassadors partially have a positive effect of 0.115 but are not significant on purchasing decisions with a significance value of 0.229 > 0.05, social media marketing partially has a positive effect of 0.765 and is significant on purchasing decisions with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. Simultaneously, brand ambassadors and TikTok social media marketing influence purchasing decisions with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05.

Abstract

Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini adalah pelaku UMKM Katering yang belum mampu Menyusun anggaran usaha. Kemampuan Menyusun anggaran sangat bermanfaat untuk mengatasi ketidakstabilan keuangan dengan memantau pengeluaran dan pemasukan setiap periode. Penyusunan anggaran juga bermaksud untuk membuat sasaran usaha agar jelas, sehingga terhindar dari ketidakstabilan usaha dari pihak luar.metode yang digunakan adalah survei, wawancara, sosialisasi, edukasi, pelatihan dan evaluasi. Pelatihan berupa pemberian teori dan praktik pembuatan laporan anggaran. Setelah dilakukanya pelatihan penyusunan anggaran tingkat pemahaman pelaku usaha terhadap pengetahun menyusun anggaran meningkat yang dapat dilihat dari hasil pre test dan post test peningkatan tersebut meningkat pada anggaran penjualan, anggaran produksi, anggaran bahan baku, dan anggaran kas, dengan tingkat pemahaman rata rata 40% sebelum dilakukan kegiatan pengabdian dan meningkat hingga 90% setelah dilakukan pengabdian. Dengan adanya pelatihan ini usaha Katering di Jl. Alauddin dapat berkembang.

Abstract

The beauty industry in Indonesia has experienced rapid growth; however, it also faces challenges related to declining repeat purchases in certain body care product categories. This study aims to analyze the effect of brand image and price on repeat purchase decisions of Scarlett Whitening Body Care products among students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Negeri Makassar, in Makassar City. This research employs a quantitative approach using explanatory research. Data were collected through an online questionnaire distributed to 90 respondents selected using purposive sampling. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS. The results indicate that brand image and price each have a positive and significant effect on repeat purchase decisions. Furthermore, the simultaneous test shows that brand image and price jointly have a significant effect on repeat purchase decisions of Scarlett Whitening Body Care products. These findings suggest that a strong brand image combined with a price perceived as appropriate plays an important role in encouraging consumer loyalty and repeat purchases, particularly among university students. The results of this study are expected to provide practical insights for companies in formulating marketing strategies focused on customer retention.

Abstract

Coal mining firms listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) are the subject of this study between 2020 and 2024. These Businesses have a very important part in the national economy but simultaneously face difficulties like price volatility, shifts in global demand, and renewable energy transition policies. The study is motivated by previous various research results regarding impact of solvency and profitability on company value, necessitating further empirical examination. This study's objective is to evaluate the impact of profitability and solvency on company value. A quantitative causal-associative approach was employed using panel data from eight businesses that consistently release yearly reports throughout the study period, generating 40 observations. Analysis of multiple linear regression was performed on the data using SPSS version 30. The findings reveal that profitability, represented by Return on Assets (ROA), has a negative yet insignificant impact on company value as measured by Price to Book Value (PBV). Conversely, solvency, proxied by Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), demonstrates a beneficial and noteworthy impact on the company's value. Collectively, profitability and solvency explain 20.3% of company value variation. These results underscore the importance of maintaining a balanced capital structure to enhance investor confidence and corporate valuation. Academically, this research enriches financial management literature within the energy sector, while practically offering insights for managers and investors in financial decision-making.
