Abstract

This study examines the effect of profitability, firm size, and liquidity on firm value in textile and garment manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2018 to 2022. Using a purposive sampling method, the study selects companies that meet specific criteria, resulting in a sample analyzed through multiple linear regression. Profitability is measured using Return on Assets (ROA), the natural logarithm of total assets represents firm size, and liquidity is assessed through the Current Ratio (CR). In contrast, firm value is measured using the Price-to-Book Value (PBV) ratio. The results indicate that profitability does not significantly affect firm value, suggesting that investors consider other financial factors when assessing a company's worth. Firm size negatively and significantly affects firm value, implying that larger firms may experience inefficiencies that reduce their attractiveness to investors. Liquidity also does not significantly impact firm value, reinforcing that holding excess liquid assets does not necessarily contribute to higher firm valuation. However, when tested simultaneously, profitability, firm size, and liquidity collectively significantly impact firm value, indicating their interconnected role in financial decision-making. The findings align with agency, trade-off, and signalling theories, providing new insights into the valuation of firms in emerging markets. The study offers practical implications for corporate managers, emphasizing the importance of optimizing asset utilization and balancing financial strategies to enhance firm value. Additionally, the study highlights the need for investors to consider multiple financial indicators beyond traditional metrics.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to help the Patil Berkah Jaya catfish farming group located in Gunturgeni village, Poncosari, Srandakan, Bantul. The problem that occurs in catfish farming groups is that financial reports are still compiled manually which is less efficient and error-prone. So that socialization and training on writing financial reports with a digital-based 3N (Niteni, Nirokke, Nambahi) strategy such as excel and google spreadsheets are needed. By conducting this training, it is hoped that it can provide knowledge and a positive impact on the understanding of writing financial reports digitally. As a result of this training, group members learned to make digital financial reports that are more efficient, accurate, and innovative, thus increasing transparency and facilitating financial evaluation for business development.

Abstract

Abstract

The aim of this study is to analyze research themes, leading authors, and global collaboration networks in AI research within the financial services industry from 2019 to 2024 using bibliometric tools such as VOSviewer. Utilizing data from 226 Scopus-indexed publications, we identified five main research clusters: credit evaluation, fraud detection, investment management, personal banking services, and regulatory compliance. The number of publications increased from nine in 2019 to fifty-two in 2024, reflecting growing global collaboration across thirty-two countries in eight distinct groups. IEEE Access and the International Journal of Bank Marketing emerged as the top journals, with h-indices of 7 and 6, respectively. Co-citation analysis highlights evolving patterns in AI-based risk assessment and automated decision-making systems. The findings demonstrate the rapid integration of AI in financial services, driven in part by the COVID-19 pandemic, providing valuable insights for academics, practitioners, and policymakers. This study lays the groundwork for further exploration of AI’s regulatory, transdisciplinary, and ethical dimensions in financial services.
