Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of financial education in the family, work experience, peers and learning in college on the financial literacy of students of the Faculty of Economics, Universitas Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa. Respondents from this study amounted to 100 respondents who came from FE UST students. The method used in this study uses quantitative methods. While the data analysis methods used in this study include descriptive analysis, validity and reliability tests, and multiple regression tests with the help of the SPSS 25 program. The results of this study indicate that financial education in the family has a positive and significant effect on financial literacy, work experience has a positive effect. and significant on financial literacy, peers do not have a significant positive effect on financial literacy, and learning in college has a positive and significant effect on financial literacy.

Abstract

This research is to find out the effect of profitability and leverage on firm value with dividend policy as intervening variable in property, real estate & building construction sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2015-2019. This type of research is clausal associative. The population used in this reseach is the property, real estate & building construction sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2015-2019. The type of data used in this research is secondary data and data collection uses the documentation method. While the sampling in this study using purposive sampling technique. The population data of the study were 83 companies and obtained sample of 10 companies so that the research data amounted to 50. The analysis technique used multiple linear regression and sobel test. The results showed that profitability had a negative effect on dividend policy, leverage had a positive effect on dividend policy, while profitability, leverage, and dividend policy had a positive effect on firm value. Dividend policy can’t mediated between profitability and leverage on firm value.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of profitability, liquidity, institutional ownership and foreign ownership on the capital structure of mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The period used in this study was 5 years (2015-2019). The nature of the research used in this study is descriptive and associative research with a quantitative approach. For the sampling technique, this study uses purposive sampling method, namely by selecting samples that meet predetermined criteria. Based on the existing criteria, 50 companies became the research sample. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression. Based on the results of the analysis, the profitability variable has a negative and significant effect on capital structure with a regression coefficient of -0.724 and a significance value of 0.024. The liquidity variable has a significant and significant effect on the capital structure with a regression coefficient of -0.151. and a significance value of 0.000. Institutional ownership has no and no significant effect on the company's capital structure with a regression coefficient of 0.708 and a significance value of 0.073. Meanwhile, foreign ownership has no and no significant effect on the capital structure of mining companies and is indicated by a regression coefficient of -0.006 and a significant value of 0.957 is obtained.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the influence of financial literacy and demographic factors such as gender, generation year and income on student investment decisions at the Faculty of Economics Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa University. Respondents to this study numbered 100 students from FE UST class of 2017 to 2020. The method used in this research uses quantitative methods. While the data analysis method used, among others descriptive analysis, validity and reliability test, and multiple regression test with the help of SPSS 20 program. The results of this study show that financial literacy has a significant positive effect on investment decisions. However, on demographic factors only the year of the force has a significant positive effect on investment decisions. While the year of force and income has no significant positive effect on investment decisions.

Abstract

The research aims to determine the influence of profitability, Capital Adequacy Ratio and revenue diversification against the risk of Bank. This study used case study on the banking companies and used the banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in period 2014-2018 as the population. The research used purposive sampling technique.The data analysis techniques used statistical descriptive test, classical assumption testing (normality test, autocorrelation test, multicolinearity test, and heteroskedasticity test). Hypothesis testing used multiple linear regression analysis. The data quality testing used T test, F test and determination test. The results showed that profitability, Capital Adequacy Ratio partially had a negative and significant influence on the bank risk, while the revenue diversification had a positive influence on the bank risk. Simultaneously, the profitability, CAR and diversification of revenues had a significant influence on the bank risk.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of the composition of company managers on financial performance. The composition of the company management is proxied by using the number of independent commissioners, the board of commissioners, and the board of directors. The company's financial performance is measured by profitability ratios, namely Return On Investment (ROI). The population in this study are companies that are included in the State Owned Enterprises (SOEs) listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) in 2010-2018.The sample selection technique used purposive sampling method. Based on the criteria that have been determined, 8 companies chosen as sample. The type of data used are secondary data in the form of annual reports and financial statements. Data analysis technique used multiple linear regression analysis.The results of this study showed that simultaneously, independent commissioner, board of commissioner, and board of directors have a significant effect on ROI. Partially, independent commissioner, audit committee, board of commissioner, and board of directors has positive and significant effect on ROI. While another Good Corporate Governance proxy, which are the audit committee and board of directors  have a positive effect but not significant on ROI.

Abstract

This research was aimed to analyze of profitability, investment decisions, and funding decisions on firm value. This research belongs to empirical study research. The population in this research is transportation sub-sector which is 43 companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The sample used is to use a purposive sampling method, namely the sampling technique for data sources with certain considerations. Quantitative analysis of the r Square, and hypothesis testing in the form of the F test and t test. The results showed that there was a positive and significant effect on profitability there was also a positive and significant influence on investment decisions, there was also a positive and significant influence on funding decisions, and there is also a positive and significant effect on profitability, investment decisions, and funding decisions on the value of the BEI 2016-2018 transport sub-sector company

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the mediation role of financial experience on the link between financial management practice and financial satisfaction of Small Business Enterprise (SME) in Beringharjo Market in Yogyakarta. This study uses primary data and random sampling. This Study uses questionairre with likert scale. This study collects data to respondent in Beringharjo Market of Yogyakarta Special Region. The result of this study is financial experience can be mediator in the link between financial management practice and financial satisfaction. This study can be used to campaign financial management practice to small busniess entreprise (SME), to develop small business entreprise (SME), to make decision in business especially small business entreprise (SME). Abstract

Tujuan penelitan ini adalah untuk menganalisis aspek kelayakan usahawarung “Burjo” yang berada di wilayah Karang Gayam, Catur Tunggal,Depok Sleman Yogyakarta. Fokus analisis kelayakan adalah aspek finansialyang meliputi payback period, NPV dan IRR. Lokasi penelitian ini dipilihkarena merupakan lingkungan yang sebagian besar penghuninya adalahkalangan mahasiswa yang berasal dari UGM dan UNY serta beberapakampus lainnya. Sampel penelitian merupakan 11 warung “Burjo” yang telahberdiri di daerah tersebut selama lebih dari 3 tahun dan berdasarkanpengamatan pendahuluan, ketiga warung “Burjo” tersebut merupakan yangpaling ramai dikunjungi oleh mahasiswa. Hasil analisis menunjukkanWarung Burjo di Dusun Karang Gayam, Catur Tunggal, Depok SlemanYogyakarta layak menjadi alternatif bagi calon pemodal. Dari aspek finansialmenurut tiga metode yang digunakan menunjukkan kesimpulan yang layakdan dari aspek pemasaran juga memberikan gambaran potensi yang tetapmenarik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji dan menganalisis Pengaruh Return On Asset (Roa), Return On Equity (Roe), Earning Per Share (Eps), Dep Equity Ratio (Der) Dengan Price Earning Ratio (Per) Sebagai Variabel Moderator Terhadap Harga Saham. Penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder yang diperoleh dari laporan keuangan Perusahaan LQ45 di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode tahun 2014-2018. Dengan menggunakan metode purposive sampling jumlah sampel yang diperoleh yaitu 32 perusahaan. Metode pengujian menggunakan uji statistik deskriptif, uji asumsi klasik, analisis regresi liner sederhana, dan Moderat Regression Analysis (MRA). Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa Return On Asset (ROA) berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap harga saham, Return On Equity (ROE) berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap harga saham, Erning Per Share (EPS) berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap harga saham, Dep Equity Ratio (DER) berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap harga saham
