Abstract

CV. XYZ is a fashion industry company focused on selling imported second-hand clothes with various quality levels. To support its business operations, CV. XYZ requires a user interface (UI) for its website that is intuitive, user-friendly, and efficient. Currently, the UI of CV. XYZ's website faces several issues that hinder user experience and operational efficiency. This study aims to explore the application of Design Thinking in developing the financial website UI at CV. XYZ. The research methods include problem analysis and literature review on UI development methods such as Human-Centered Design (HCD) and User-Centered Design (UCD). Design Thinking was chosen as a solution due to its holistic and structured approach that integrates creativity and innovation. The results show that applying Design Thinking can improve the quality of the UI of CV. XYZ's website. The Design Thinking process, which involves a deep understanding of user needs, creative brainstorming, rapid prototyping, and continuous iteration, successfully creates a more intuitive, user-friendly, and efficient UI. This application also enhances user satisfaction and supports the company's operational success. This study provides significant contributions to improving UI quality in the financial industry and offers recommendations for other companies looking to adopt a similar approach.

Abstract

Heart disease and ENT (Ear, Nose and Throat) disease are serious can threaten human health and even life, the attacks of these two diseases can come suddenly without us realizing it, the symptoms are similar to ordinary diseases, the aim of this research is created based on AI (artificial intelligence) which is able to provide a quick response when a disease attacks us by looking for signs of physical changes or early symptoms in the body, examples of these symptoms are changes in skin color or finger nails which can indicate the presence of a serious disease, the method used is a combination of two detection methods using forward chaining and the heart disease detection system using the image processing method, the application created is able to detect disease symptoms and measure the level of accuracy of the detection results, so that the patient or doctor is able to measure the severity of the disease, from the experimental results it can be concluded that this system can recognize with an accuracy of above 80%, this application doesn't replace the doctor as a medical expert but is used for recognize early symptoms and carry out  prevention processes  disease becomes more serious.

Abstract

The research background is to identification the position of utilities such as drinking water pipes, waste water pipes, fiber optic cables, and electrical cables below the road surface that have not been properly mapped when excavation work or road preservation. This study aims to utilize the KSD-24 type GPR that was just owned by PUtech in early 2024. The research method used is primary data collection from GPR brand Koden Electronics Co., Ltd with type KSD-24. Data collection was conducted on two paths that pass-through utilities. The data processed and interpreted in the form of radargram images. The results of the study indicate that the KSD-24 GPR tool can obtain information about the existence of utility networks below the road surface. The results of the radargram image from the KSD-24 GPR tool provide the same distance and depth display on utility installations/installations, both utilities without water volume/dry such as water pipes, steel reinforcement series and cable installations. Likewise for utilities with additional water volume as a simulation of under ground drainage. The KSD-24 type GPR tool is proposed to be included in the curriculum, specifically the Road and Bridge Inspection course in the Road and Bridge Construction Technology Study Program.

Abstract

Sistem kampanye politik di Indonesia masih didominasi oleh metode konvensional, seperti pemasangan baliho fisik, yang menimbulkan berbagai permasalahan seperti polusi visual, kerusakan lingkungan, risiko kecelakaan, serta kurangnya transparansi informasi kandidat. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang prototipe UI/UX platform aplikasi interaktif SuaraPolitik sebagai upaya reformasi sistem kampanye politik Indonesia dengan memanfaatkan teknologi digital untuk meningkatkan partisipasi publik, memperkuat transparansi, serta mengurangi dampak negatif metode kampanye tradisional. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan Design Thinking yang meliputi lima tahap: Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, dan Test. Tahap Empathize dilakukan melalui identifikasi pain points dari aktor utama rakyat pemilih, politisi, dan partai politik sedangkan tahap Define merumuskan kebutuhan spesifik masing-masing aktor. Proses Ideate menghasilkan konsep fitur seperti VoteWall Gagasan, Profil Kandidat Politik, SuaraPolitik Space, dan AspirasiKita.. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa prototipe yang dirancang mampu menjawab permasalahan utama kampanye politik di Indonesia dengan menyediakan ruang digital partisipatif yang transparan, mengurangi ketergantungan pada media kampanye fisik, serta mendorong komunikasi dua arah yang lebih sehat antara masyarakat dan aktor politik. Platform ini juga dinilai memiliki potensi tinggi untuk diimplementasikan sebagai aplikasi fungsional berbasis web dan mobile, dengan catatan perlu dilakukan usability testing lebih lanjut kepada target pengguna serta pembaruan fitur secara berkelanjutan.
