Abstract

The simulation design of this animal waste treatment plant is a design that applies the sewage treatment plant system which is made to cope with environmental pollution, especially rivers due to indiscriminate disposal of animal waste. Making this animal waste treatment plant provides information to readers or the public about how to design an animal waste treatment plant system and the performance of the sewage treatment system so that people know how to deal with environmental pollution caused by the livestock themselves. The manufacture of this installation system uses data collection methods from direct farmers and theories obtained from books, journals, and articles related to sewage treatment plant theory, plumbing, electricity, and others. Finally, the data was collected by testing the animal dung waste treatment system where the test data was taken from the pH content of the water used for processing the animal dung waste treatment system. The test results on the sewage treatment plant system concluded that in order to obtain optimal results or water pH content, namely the pH content of 6, it is necessary to deposit animal manure between two to three days, while the maximum processing of this system is the pH content of 6.5. and processing of animal manure, which is on the fourth day to get the maximum pH content.

Abstract

Abstract — SVC functions as a voltage profile regulator, harmonic reduction and voltage stabilizer for transmission in the province of Bali which serves 15 substations, while using nonlinear loads so that harmonics are formed on the current and voltage graphs which result in voltage drops in the transmission network. So, it is necessary to dampen the voltage harmonics or Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) with Passive Filters. The method used is the transmission system simulation in PSCAD software with the IEEE 14-bus standard. The percentage value results in the order before and after installing the Passive Filter on the SVC are in accordance with IEEE Standard 519-2014 (max 2.5% for THDv) namely the 3rd order, namely 1.99% to 1.95%, the 5th order, namely 3, 40% to 2.13%, 7th order namely 2.81% to 2.06%, 9th order namely 1.67 to 1.64%, 11th order 2.09% to 1.84%, 11th order 13th order, namely 2.11% to 1.98% and 15th order, namely 2.19% to 1.96%.   Key words— Passive Filter; Static Var Compensator; Total Harmonic Distortion   Abstrak — SVC berfungsi sebagai pengatur profil tegangan, penurunan harmonisa dan penstabil tegangan pada transmisi di provinsi Bali yang melayani 15 gardu induk, sedangkan dengan penggunaan beban nonlinier sehingga terbentuk harmonisa pada grafik arus maupun tegangan yang berakibat terjadinya jatuh tegangan pada jaringan transmisi. Sehingga diperlukan peredaman pada harmonisa tegangan atau Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) dengan Filter Pasif. Metode yang digunakan yaitu simulasi sistem transmisi dalam software PSCAD dengan standart IEEE 14-bus. Hasil nilai persenan pada orde sebelum dan sesudah pemasangan Passive Filter pada SVC sesuai dengan Standar IEEE 519-2014 (max 2,5% untuk THDv) yaitu orde ke 3 yaitu 1,99% menjadi 1,95%, orde ke 5 yaitu 3,40% menjadi 2,13%, orde ke 7 yaitu 2,81% menjadi 2,06%, orde ke 9 yaitu 1,67 menjadi 1,64%, orde ke 11 2,09% menjadi 1,84%, orde ke 13 yaitu 2,11% menjadi 1,98% dan orde ke 15 yaitu 2,19% menjadi 1,96%.   Kata kunci — Filter Pasif; Static Var Compensator; Total Harmonic Distortion

Abstract

The implementation of smart farming still uses AC electricity resources which is estimated to be less effective in its implementation due to wasted electricity costs. As well as the lack of a crop monitoring system by farmers, crop yields are not optimal.  This research aims to produce a smart farming system that is used for hydroponic plants to monitor plant conditions periodically and the automatic watering process and nutrient measurements are more efficient, online to the network with the IoT concept, and saves energy by utilizing solar panels. This research is quantitative research with experimental methods. The stages in this system include flowcharts and block diagrams to make it easier to read the workflow that will be created and tested. The results of this research are that the monitoring system with the Blynk Smartphone application turns on if the pH sensor gets a result of 7.2 causing it to open and the pH solution drops in the solenoid which will make nutrients flow into the water container. The solenoid will experience a closed condition because the sensor gets results in the range of 6.2 to 7.2 in pH units. The water level gets an average height of 18.5 to 19.5 cm with the sensor, nutrients are filled into the water container when the solenoid is triggered and turns off when it gets to the maximum value limit. Solar panels as an energy source for detecting acid bases in pH units and hydroponic nutrients are proven to be able to operate all devices within 24 hours during the period of growth.

Abstract

Kemajuan teknologi informasi telah mendorong berbagai institusi, termasuk perguruan tinggi, untuk mengadopsi sistem pengelolaan yang lebih modern dan efisien. Fakultas Vokasi, Universitas Warmadewa saat ini masih menggunakan metode manual dalam pengelolaan surat, yang melibatkan pencatatan di Excel dan penyimpanan dokumen dalam bentuk digital hasil pemindaian. Sistem ini kurang efisien dan rawan terhadap kesalahan, seperti hilangnya data dan keterlambatan disposisi surat. Mengatasi permasalahan ini, dirancanglah sistem informasi pengelolaan surat berbasis web menggunakan framework CodeIgniter. Data yang digunakan dalam pengembangan sistem ini meliputi dokumen surat masuk dan surat keluar yang dikelola dalam satu tahun terakhir. Sistem ini mencakup fitur pendaftaran surat, pengarsipan digital, disposisi online, dan pelacakan surat secara real-time, mendukung inisiatif paperless yang dapat mengurangi penggunaan kertas. Pengembangan sistem menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D), melalui tahap analisis, perancangan, pengembangan, implementasi, dan pengujian. Pengujian dilakukan dengan metode black box untuk memastikan fungsionalitas sistem berjalan sesuai dengan yang diharapkan. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan peningkatan efisiensi pengelolaan surat hingga lebih dari 70% dibandingkan dengan metode manual. Implementasi dari sistem ini diharapkan Fakultas Vokasi dapat mencapai pengelolaan yang lebih efektif dan efisien serta ramah lingkungan.

Abstract

In the growing era of digitalization, the use of technology is a solution to improve the efficiency of health services. Health centers often face the problem of long and irregular queues. A promising solution is the use of an Arduino Uno-based digital queue. This system allows patients to register electronically through a counter or mobile app. After registration, the patient is given a queue number which is displayed on the LCD screen. The advantage of this system is that it reduces patient waiting time, improves service efficiency, and helps medical staff manage queues better. This research aims to create an Arduino Uno-based digital queuing system at the Dauh Puri Sub-Community Health Center in West Denpasar. This tool consists of Arduino Uno, thermal printer, LCD display, speaker, and wireless push button at the counter. Testing shows that all devices are well integrated, providing timely responses. In conclusion, the Arduino Uno-based digital queue can improve efficiency and patient satisfaction at the health center.

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru dan siswa jurusan Teknik Komputer dan Jaringan (TKJ) di SMK Negeri 1 Sukawati dalam penguasaan teknologi Internet of Things (IoT), khususnya melalui pelatihan pemrograman mikrokontroler ESP32 dan integrasinya dengan aplikasi mobile Blynk untuk monitoring dan kontrol perangkat elektronik. Permasalahan mitra meliputi rendahnya keterampilan pemrograman sensor, kurangnya pemahaman integrasi perangkat keras dan aplikasi mobile, serta ketiadaan pelatihan aplikatif berbasis teknologi terbaru. Metode pelaksanaan menggunakan pendekatan partisipatif dan praktik langsung (learning by doing), terdiri atas lima tahapan: identifikasi kebutuhan mitra, sosialisasi konsep IoT, pelatihan teknis ESP32 dan Blynk, pendampingan proyek mini, serta perumusan keberlanjutan program. Evaluasi dilakukan secara kuantitatif dan kualitatif melalui pre-test dan post-test, observasi, serta wawancara pascaprogram. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan rata-rata skor dari 39,6 (pre-test) menjadi 78,9 (post-test), serta keberhasilan lebih dari 90% peserta dalam praktik pemrograman ESP32 dan integrasi dengan aplikasi mobile. Peserta juga menunjukkan antusiasme tinggi selama pelatihan. Simpulan dari kegiatan ini adalah bahwa pelatihan berbasis praktik terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan peserta terhadap teknologi IoT, serta membuka peluang kolaborasi berkelanjutan antara pendidikan vokasi dan perguruan tinggi dalam pengembangan teknologi tepat guna menghadapi tantangan Revolusi Industri 4.0.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan kenyamanan layanan administrasi kesehatan melalui instalasi dan sosialisasi alat pendaftaran pasien berbasis mikrokontroler multimedia di Puskesmas Denpasar Barat. Sistem yang dikembangkan menggunakan mikrokontroler (seperti Arduino atau ESP32) yang terintegrasi dengan antarmuka multimedia, terdiri atas layar LED, panduan suara, serta input digital untuk memungkinkan pasien melakukan pendaftaran mandiri tanpa harus mengantre di meja registrasi. Metode pelaksanaan mencakup perancangan perangkat keras, pemrograman sistem logika kerja dan antarmuka, instalasi alat pada ruang pendaftaran, serta sosialisasi dan pelatihan kepada staf dan pasien. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa sistem ini mampu menurunkan rata-rata waktu pendaftaran pasien dari 5,5 menit menjadi 2,1 menit (efisiensi sebesar 38,18%) serta mengurangi antrean secara signifikan. Survei terhadap 35 pasien menunjukkan 75% merasa puas dengan penggunaan alat, dengan catatan sebagian lansia masih memerlukan pendampingan. Dari sisi petugas, sistem juga mengurangi beban kerja administratif dan meningkatkan fokus terhadap layanan lainnya. Temuan ini sejalan dengan literatur terkini yang menunjukkan bahwa digitalisasi sistem layanan publik mampu meningkatkan efisiensi operasional dan kepuasan pengguna. Dengan hasil yang positif, program ini berpotensi menjadi model sistem pendaftaran digital yang dapat direplikasi di fasilitas kesehatan lainnya, khususnya pada layanan primer dengan volume pasien tinggi.

Abstract

Accumulation of the number of patient queues at the Pukesmas Pembantu (Pustu) Dauh Puri. This is due to fewer service facilities compared to the number of requests so that the time used by patients in the queue becomes unsystematic. The registration process and ordering queue numbers are still done manually without implementing a wireless system with a button keypad, where the manual queue machine has been printed first, first taken by the patient. Come to the puskesmas first to be able to take the queue number, then wait for registration by being called by the puskesmas officer without using an automatic dialing machine that is integrated with the queue machine so that patients have to wait their turn to be called in to get services from doctors in the absence of a seven segment display for petrified showing the last queue number and the registration counter to be addressed by the patient. The method that will be used in making this tool is a method of discussion and workshop-based tool work. The stages of the activity will be as follows: First, the proposer will provide the basic concept of the importance of digital technology knowledge. Second, the proposer will assemble the tools according to the distribution of the criteria for patients and clinics. Third, the proposer will provide training on the use of tools already using a wireless system. Fourth, if the PkM activity is about to end, a questionnaire will be distributed as an evaluation material in the activity. The solution that will be carried out is to overcome the services of elderly, general and toddler patients, namely the service of making a wireless-based queue number machine by installing an installation system, providing training to community health workers regarding the running and maintenance process.

Abstract

Community service at the Dauh Puri Kauh Village Office is a form of campus concern for the environment, both for the general public, government and village officials who oversee the Denpasar city area, especially the West Denpasar sub-district. They complained about the lack of understanding of most employees about application of digital technology, especially the use of digital service satisfaction survey tools that do not yet exist in the West Denpasar government area because what employees often use is only a piece of paper to survey community satisfaction in the form of a questionnaire answer format which is archived and input manually to computer databases. Considering that currently the need for good, fast and accurate services is urgently needed by the people of the Dauh Puri Kauh area and that information disclosure and services are digital, especially in the Denpasar city area after the Covid-19 spike has decreased. This service will involve the village head and employees of the Dauh Puri Kauh village office. The results of the service are expected to help capable partners who are expected to be able to understand and continue the application of the tool and in the future, the system can be developed for the advancement of digital technology in the Denpasar city area.
