Abstract

This service is expected to help contribute to the benefit of the school environment and the character development of environmental care conservation. So that by taking advantage of the environment that is still not empowered at SDN Patemon 2, it is able to support learning later. This service is carried out in the planning, implementation and evaluation stages of activities that emphasize activities using the demonstration method. The service went smoothly and received a good and extraordinary response from partners, both from the school and the parent group for grade 2 students related to the environmental arrangement of SDN Patemon 2 by making a child-friendly park. This service also has a target of achievement, namely in the form of accepted articles. In addition, an additional output in this service is a draft book chapter. Pengabdian ini diharapkan dapat membantu memberikan kontribusi terhadap kebermanfaatan lingkungan sekolah dan penumbuhan karakter konservasi peduli lingkungan. Sehingga dengan memanfaatkan lingkungan yang masih belum diberdayakan di SDN Patemon 2, mampu untuk mendukung pembelajaran nantinya. Pengabdian ini dilakukan dengan tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi kegiatan yang menitikberatkan kegiatan menggunakan metode demonstrasi. Pengabdian berjalan dengan lancar dan mendapatkan respon yang baik dan luar biasa dari mitra, baik dari pihak sekolah maupun paguyuban wali murid kelas 2 terkait dengan penataan lingkungan SDN Patemon 2 dengan membuat taman ramah anak. Pengabdian ini juga memiliki target capaian yaitu berupa artikel capaian accepted. Selain itu, luaran tambahan dalam pengabdian ini adalah draft book chapter.

Abstract

Pangudi Luhur Domenico Savio Junior High School is a school with a diversity of student backgrounds, from the point of view of religion, ethnicity, socio-economy, and gender / gender. This article aims to Know the process of internalizing multicultural values in students through social studies learning SMP Pangudi Luhur Domenico Savio. The results of this study found that The process of internalizing muticultural values has been carried out by the teacher, the values that are often applied by the teacher are the values of Democratization, Humanism, and Pluralism. which are inserted through various things, namely: (a) Social studies learning materials are formed based on facts and real examples in the field. (b) The learning model used is inquiry discussion with the aim that students better understand the material and can adapt to the surrounding environment. (c) The assessment system used by the teacher is not only in terms of cognitive, affective, and psychomotor, but the assessment also takes into account the opinions of other students regarding the personalities of the students concerned as evaluation materials for the future. SMP Pangudi Luhur Domenico Savio adalah sekolah dengan keberagaman latar belakang peserta didik mulai dari segi agama, etnis, sosial ekonomi, dan jenis kelamin/gender. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses internalisasi nilai-nilai multikultural pada siswa melalui pembelajaran IPS di SMP Pangudi Luhur Domenico Savio. Hasil dari penelitian ini menemukan bahwa proses internalisasi nilai-nilai mutikultural sudah dilakukan oleh guru, nilai-nilai yang sering diterapkan oleh guru adalah nilai Demokratisasi, Humanis, dan Pluralisme yang disisipkan melalui berbagai hal yaitu: (a) Meteri pembelajaran IPS dibentuk berdasarkan kenyataan dan contoh-contoh nyata yang ada di lapangan. (b) Model pembelajaran yang digunakan diskusi inkuiri dengan tujuan agar peserta didik lebih memahami materi dan dapat beradaptasi dengan lingkungan sekitarnya. (c) Sistem penilaian yang digunakan oleh guru tidak hanya dari segi kognitif, afektif, dan pisikomotorik, akan tetapi penilaian juga mempertimbangakan pendapat dari peserta didik lain terkait kepribadian peserta didik yang bersangkutan sebagai bahan evaluasi untuk kedepannya

Abstract

This study aims to determine the school's efforts in building student democratic attitudes through OSIS at SMP Negeri 22 Semarang. The results showed that schools made an effort to provide an understanding of political education. The OSIS management has implemented the understanding of political education provided by the school and can be seen through its activities. The implementation of understanding political education in building democratic attitudes is still not optimal. The active participation of the OSIS management includes; (1) decision making, (2) implementation, (3) taking benefits, (4) evaluation, and (5) social attitudes. Meanwhile, the results of the analysis of the role of political education in building student democratic attitudes show that coaching seeks to build the awareness of the student council officials, motivation plays a role in problem solving, and evaluation plays a role in knowing the shortcomings of the student council administrators. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui upaya sekolah dalam membangun sikap demokratis siswa melalui OSIS di SMP Negeri 22 Semarang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sekolah berupaya dalam memberikan pemahaman pendidikan politik. Pengurus OSIS sudah mengimplementasikan pemahaman pendidikan politik yang diberikan sekolah serta dapat diketahui melalui aktivitasnya. Implementasi pemahaman pendidikan politik dalam membangun sikap demokratis masih ada yang belum maksimal. Partisipasi aktif pengurus OSIS meliputi; (1) pengambilan keputusan, (2) pelaksanaan, (3) pengambilan manfaat, (4) evaluasi, dan (5) sikap sosial. Sedangkan hasil analisis peran pendidikan politik dalam membangun sikap demokratis siswa menunjukkan bahwa pembinaan berupaya dalam pembentukan kesadaran pengurus OSIS, motivasi berperan dalam penyelesaian masalah, dan evaluasi berperan dalam mengetahui kekurangan pengurus OSIS.

Abstract

The aim of the research of this study was to determine the pedagogical competence of social studies teachers and student learning activeness in the social studies learning process and social studies teacher schools through online learning at SMP N 2 Cepiring Kendal. The results showed that the social studies teacher at SMP N 2 Cepiring Kendal has an important role in student learning activeness by continuing to implement the pedagogical components of the teacher that they must have, including the ability to master student material, the ability to master learning theory, the ability to develop curriculum theory, master potential abilities. learners, and take advantage of information and communication technology. The activeness of students in the learning process can be seen from the ability of students to capture learning material which can be seen from various things such as listening, discussing, and expressing opinions during the teaching and learning process. Tujuan dilaksankannya penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui kompetensi pedagogik guru IPS dan keaktifan belajar siswa dalam proses pembelajaran IPS dan kendala guru IPS mengajarkan materi melalui pembelajaran dalam jaringan di SMP N 2 Cepiring Kendal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru Guru IPS di SMP N 2 Cepiring Kendal memiliki peranan penting dalam keaktifan belajar siswa dengan tetap melaksanakan komponen pedagogik guru yang harus dimilikinya, antara lain kemampuan menguasai karakteristik siswa, kemampuan menguasai teori belajar, kemampuan mengembangkan teori kurikulum, kemampuan menguasai potensi peserta didik, dan kemampuan memanfaatkan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi. Keaktifan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran dapat dilihat dari kemampuan siswa dalam menangkap materi pembelajaran yang dapat dilihat dari berbagai hal seperti menyimak, berdiskusi, dan mengutarakan pendapat selama proses belajar mengajar.

Abstract

Hasil belajar siswa masih belum baik, siswa mengalami hambatan dan kesulitan dalam memahami materi khususnya materi tentang ASEAN. Peneliti memberikan media pembelajaran video animasi dan kahoot! dalam pembelajaran IPS. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu kuantitatif. Desain yang dipakai dalam penelitian ini adalah quasi experimental/eksperimen semu dengan jenis nonequivalent control group design. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu media kahoot! dan video animasi efektif diterapkan. Hal tersebut dibuktikan empat indicator efektivitas yaitu (1) kemampuan guru dalam mengelola pembelajaran masuk kategori sangat tinggi dengan nilai di kelas eksperimen 73 dan kelas control 66, (2) aktivitas belajar peserta didik dalam pembelajaran menunjukkan rata-rata sangat aktif dengan skor di kelas eksperimen 92,86 sedangkan kelas kontrol 62,50, (3) peningkatan hasil belajar kelas ekperimen dari 46,4 menjadi 84,4, sedangkan kelas kontrol dari 46,0 menjadi 78,6, (4) respon peserta didik terhadap pembelajaran yang diterapkan guru masuk kategori sangat tinggi dengan skor di kelas eksperimen 75 dan kelas kontrol 68,7. The learning result which is not significant yet, and students who still experience handicaps and difficulties in understanding the material expecially in ASEAN material. Researchers provide learning media for animated video and kahoot! in social stcience learning. This research uses quantitative method, while the research design in quasi experimental with non-equivalent control roup design. The result of this research shows that animation video and kahoot! are effective being implemented . this can be proven by seeing the effectiveness indicators such as (1) the teacher high capability to manage the classroom indicated by the score of 73 in the experimental group and 66 in the control group, (2) the teaching and learning activity which shows high activness with the score of 92,86 in the experimental group and 62,50 in the control group, (3) the increase of the learning result score of experimental group from 46,6 to 84,4 while the control group score of experimental group from 46,0 to 78,6, (4) the high responses of students towards the teaching learning activity with the experimental group score 75 and control group score 68,7.

Abstract

This study aims to determine efforts to prevent radicalism in schools through strengthening character in social science learning (IPS) and implementing strengthening character education (PPK) in extracurricular activities at MTS NU TBS Kudus. The results showed that schools were trying to prevent the development of radicalism. Prevention of radicalism in schools is carried out through the implementation of strengthening character education (PPK) through three activities, namely intracular activities, co-curricular activities, and extracurricular activities. Implementation in intraculricular activities focuses on social studies learning which has material and dimensions related to everyday life. Implementation in extracurricular activities focuses on implementing the vision and mission through school culture and school activities. Meanwhile, the results of the analysis of efforts to prevent radicalism through the implementation of character strengthening show that the implementation of PPK has been carried out and has had an impact, but in its implementation there are still a number of obstacles, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic. Abstract

Character education is highly emphasized in the education practice at schools as a major step in dealing with students' moral degradation and 21st-century challenges. The purpose of research is to know the planning, implementation, and evaluation phases conducted by social science teachers to implement character education. This research using descriptive qualitative study by setting the location of research at SMPN 34 Semarang. The results showed that: (1) Planning includes the teachers’ understanding of the importance of character education; the selection of character values adapted to the Basic Competence and the students’ conditions; and the inclusion of character values in learning media, (2) implementation of learning at the introduction stage is by warming up the students; the core stage is by using lecture method, discussion, role model by teacher, and reward punishment; (3) evaluation by the teacher to assess the students’ characters is by observation and written in attitude evaluation journal. Pendidikan karakter sangat ditekankan dalam penyelenggaraan pendidikan di sekolah sebagai langkah utama dalam menghadapi degradasi moral pelajar dan tantangan abad 21. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengetahui tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi yang dilakukan guru IPS untuk mengimplementasikan pendidikan karakter. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan mengambil lokasi penelitian di SMP Negeri 34 Semarang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Perencanaan meliputi pemahaman guru tentang pentingnya pendidikan karakter; pemilihan nilai karakter yang disesuaikan dengan Kompetensi Dasar dan kondisi peserta didik; serta mencantumkan nilai karakter dalam perangkat pembelajaran, (2) pelaksanaan pembelajaran tahap pendahuluan dengan mengkondisikan peserta didik; tahap inti dengan menggunakan metode ceramah, diskusi, keteladanan guru, dan pemberian reward punishment; (3)evaluasi dilakukan guru IPS untuk menilai karakter peserta didik dengan pengamatan yang kemudian ditulis di jurnal penilaian sikap.

Abstract

The purposes of this research (1) to find out the Implementation of Nationalism and Religious Strengthening Character Education in learning social studies; (2) identify the supporting and inhibiting factors for the Implementation of Nationalism and Religious Strengthening Character Education in learning social studies at Junior High School of Nasima Semarang. The research method used was qualitative. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documentation. The data were analyzed using the Mile and Huberman Interactive Analysis.The data validity checking technique was using source triangulation. The results showed that: (1) the Implementation of Character buildings in learning social studies was carried out in all learning processes, including learning plan, learning implementation, and learning avaluation. (2) The barriers faced by social science’s teachers of Junior High School of Nasima Semarang were related to the efforts of consistency and continuity in internalizing the value of Character buildings,especially nationalism and religion character.The supporting factors for the mplementation of Nationalism and Religious Character buildings in learning social studies at Junior High School of Nasima Semarang were qualified teachers, and the complete facilities and infrastructure. Tujuan penelitian ini: (1) mengetahui implementasi PPK nasionalisme dan religius dalam pembelajaran IPS; (2) mengidentifikasi faktor pendukung dan penghambat implementasi PPK nasionalisme dan religius dalam pembelajaran IPS di SMP Nasima Semarang.Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman yaitu analisis interaktif. Teknik pemeriksaan keabsahan data dengan triangulasi sumber. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Implementasi PPK Nasionalisme dan Religius dalam pembelajaran IPS dilakukan dalam semua proses pembelajaran, meliputi perencanaan pembelajaran, pelaksanaan pembelajaran, serta evaluasi pencapaian belajar; (2) Hambatan yang dihadapi guru IPS di SMP Nasima terkait dengan upaya konsistensi dan kontinuitas dalam menginternalisasikan nilai-nilai Penguatan Pendidikan Karakter (PPK) Nasionalisme dan Religius dalam diri siswa. Adapun faktor pendukung Implementasi PPK Nasionalisme dan Religius dalam pembelajaran IPS di SMP Nasima Semarang meliputi guru yang berkualitas, serta sarana dan prasarana yang lengkap.

Abstract

Coastal societies are defined as the unity of collective social people living in coastal areas. Coastal societies are still very thick with their culture. As time goes by, the times are growing so that lead to the development of new cultures, including the new culture in coastal societies. The attitudes of the coastal societies towards the new culture are to accept the new culture, but the coastal societies also reject new cultures that are deemed incompatible with the culture that already exist in coastal societies. The social skills of coastal societies towards a new culture are to keep upholding existing cultural values. So that, even though a new culture develops in coastal societies, coastal communities still keep upholding existing cultural values inherited from generation to generation. Ayah District is one of the districts in Kebumen Regency. Ayah District is one of the districts whose southernmost border is the Indian Ocean. So that, some of the people in Ayah District are coastal societies. Ayah culture is very diverse, ranging from language, knowledge systems, social organizations, living equipment systems and technology, living systems, religious systems and arts are still very thick with old culture. As time goes by, the times are growing so that lead to the development of new cultures, including the new culture of coastal societies in Ayah District. The purpose of this study was to find out how the attitudes and social skills of coastal societies in the Ayah District towards the existence of a new culture that is increasingly developing. The research method applied in this study is a qualitative method. The source of data in this study is the coastal society of the Ayah District considered and trusted to know the problem to be studied. Informants in this research are Village Heads, Community Leaders and Fishermen. Data collection techniques applied by using observation, interviews, and documentation studies. Data analysis applied was interactive model analysis.

Abstract

The character of the Indonesian nation that began to fade requires an attempt to overcome. Scouting is one of the extracurricular activities that became the character education effort. This study aimed to (1) know the value of the character of the nation that is planted through scouting in SMP / MTs in Mungkidregency, (2) to know the effort to cultivate the value of nation character through scouting in SMP / MTs in Mungkidregency; (3) to know the factors that support and obstruct the cultivation of nation character value through scouting in SMP / MTs in Mungkidregency. The research method usedwas descriptive qualitative research method. Data collection techniques used were observation, interview and documentation. The result of this research showed the value of the character of the nation that is planted through scouting in SMP / MTs in Mungkid regency were religious, discipline, creative, independent, democratic, love the homeland, and appreciate the achievements pursued through the activity planning, scouting contest and SKU test and SKK. The driving and inhibiting factors include internal factors (motivation of learners) and external factors (coach or coach, family, and school). Karakter bangsa Indonesia yang mulai pudar memerlukan sebuah upaya untuk mengatasinya. Ekstrakurikuler Kepramukaan merupakan salah satu kegiatan ekstrakurikuler yang menjadi upaya pendidikan karakter. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) nilai karakter bangsa yang ditanamkan melalui ekstrakurikuler kepramukaan di SMP/MTs se-Kecamatan Mungkid; (2) upaya penanaman nilai karakter bangsa melalui ekstrakurikuler kepramukaan di SMP/MTs seKecamatan Mungkid; (3) faktor yang mendukung dan menghambat penanaman nilai karakter bangsa melalui ekstrakurikuler kepramukaan di SMP/MTs se-Kecamatan Mungkid. Metode penelitian yaitu metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan nilai karakter bangsa yang ditanamkan melalui ekstrakurikuler kepramukaan di SMP/MTs se-Kecamatan Mungkid adalah religius, disiplin, kreatif, mandiri, demokratis, cinta tanah air, dan menghargai prestasi yang diupayakan melaui perencanaan kegiatan, lomba-lomba kepramukaan dan uji SKU dan SKK. Adapun faktor pendorong dan penghambat antara lain faktor internal (motivasi peserta didik) dan faktor eksternal (pembina atau pelatih, keluarga, dan sekolah).
