Abstract

Kebijakan pendidikan pada masa pandemi Covid-19 membuat proses pembelajaran tatap muka bertransformasi menjadi pembelajaran jarak jauh dengan metode daring. Pemenuhan hak belajar mahasiswa untuk mendapatkan hasil yang optimal tidak hanya menjadi tanggung jawab dosen dan mahasiswa saja, tetapi juga orang tua dan lingkungan. Keberhasilan pembelajaran daring tidak terlepas dari berbagai faktor seperti daya dukung terhadap mahasiswa dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran daring, oleh sebab itu peneliti tertarik mengkaji mengenai daya dukung pembelajaran daring. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan responden adalah mahasiswa FIS UNNES. Teknik pengumpulan data disebarkan melalui angket. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis dengan menggunakan rumus statistik dengan persentase. Kegiatan yang telah dilakukan hingga bulan agustus telah melakukan penyebaran kuesioner kepada responden yakni mahasiswa FIS UNNES. Data yang didapatkan kemudian akan dilakukan analisis sesuai dengan metode penelitian yang digunakan.

Abstract

Kondisi kawasan hutan mangrove Tapak di Kecamatan Tugu Kota Semarang kini mulai terncam dikarenakan rendahnya kesadaran warga terhadap lingkungan, kurangnya literasi tentang menjaga kelestarian hutan mangrove, kurangnya optimalisasi media sosial untuk pelestarian hutan mangrove, belum adanya gerakan sosial dalam upaya pencegahan kerusakan lingkungan, belum terjalinnya kerjasama dengan beberapa stakeholder kawasan hutan mangrove. Upaya untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut dengan melaksanakan program “PELITA” (Pelestarian Lingkungan Kita). Program ini terdiri dari Sosialisasi Gerakan Konservasi Hutan Mangrove, Edukasi Pelestarian Lingkungan, Video Turorial Peduli Lingkungan, Optimalisas Media Sosial, Giat Kampanye, Penguatan Social Awareness, dan Kemitraan. Program PELITA akn lebih optimal jika ada kerjasama dari berbagai pihak untuk saling membantu dan bergotong royong dalam melestarikan kegiatan penanaman konservasi hutan mangrove.

Abstract

Teachers have a big share in developing students' social skills through learning in the classroom because teachers act as learning designers, managers, and assessors of student. The importance of students' social skills in social science learning requires the teacher to make efforts that focus on developing students' social skills in order to realise the objectives of social science learning. Therefore, this study discusses the efforts of the teacher in developing students' social skills in social science learning including the process of developing social skills and inhibiting factors in developing social skills at SMP Negeri 33 Semarang. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study are: (1) The efforts made by social science teachers in developing social skills of students in the aspect of peer relations, academic behavior, and self management is done on the implementation of social science learning that include preliminary, core, closing activities. (2) The obstacles faced by social science teachers including: lack of concern for students, students are not fully focused on the materials, minimal support facilities, and lack of responsibility of students in completing tasks. Guru memiliki andil yang besar dalam mengembangkan keterampilan sosial melalui pembelajaran di kelas karena guru berperan sebagai perancang, pengelola, dan evaluator. Pentingnya keterampilan sosial siswa pada pembelajaran IPS mengharuskan guru IPS melakukan upaya pengembangan keterampilan sosial demi mewujudkan tujuan pembelajaran IPS. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini membahas tentang upaya guru IPS dalam mengembangkan keterampilan sosial siswa pada pembelajaran IPS meliputi proses pengembangan keterampilan sosial dan faktor penghambat pengembangan keterampilan sosial di SMP Negeri 33 Semarang. Pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah: (1) Upaya yang dilakukan guru IPS dalam mengembangkan keterampilan sosial siswa pada aspek hubungan teman sebaya, keterampilan akademik, dan manajemen diri yang dilakukan pada pelaksanaan pembelajaran IPS yang meliputi kegiatan pendahuluan, inti, dan penutup. (2) Adapun kendala yang dihadapi guru IPS, diantaranya yaitu: kurangnya kepedulian siswa, siswa belum sepenuhnya fokus pada materi, kurangnya fasilitas penunjang belajar, serta kurangnya tanggung jawab siswa dalam menyelesaikan tugas.

Abstract

In this increasingly advanced era of technology and information, culture with local wisdom should not be forgotten. The role of local wisdom critically changes and shapes global culture to be meaningful and in accordance with the social and cultural life of society, including in the world of education. Therefore, teachers are currently required to be able to preserve local values amidst the rapid flow of technological progress. One effort that can be made through learning activities using Virtual Reality by social studies teachers in Kudus Regency. Kudus Regency is rich in local wisdom that can be used as a source of social studies learning such as the Menara Kudus Mosque, Kretek Museum, Pati Ayam Site, Kudus Traditional House, etc. Through this local wisdom-based virtual reality , it is hoped that it can train students to preserve socio-cultural conservation values through local wisdom in Kudus Regency. Therefore, to achieve this goal, special skills are needed for teachers to package local wisdom in society into digital form. These skills must be possessed by teachers as educators so that social studies learning can run more meaningfully. The training method in this activity is Community Development Practice which includes team formation, goal formulation, target community identification, needs collection and analysis, problem solution priority determination, preparation, implementation, mentoring, review and evaluation, and ending with determining new needs and targets. The ability to develop digital learning media that is relevant to the times is certainly a skill that is very much needed by teachers in this digital era. Through this community service activity, teachers can improve their skills in developing virtual reality- based learning media . Teachers can package local wisdom materials in digital form which of course will be more appropriate for the native digital generation that currently dominates school benches.

Abstract

Potensi daerah merupakan segala kekayaan asli yang dimiliki oleh suatu daerah dan memiliki kemungkinan untuk dikembangkan dan dimaksimalkan oleh mereka yang ada disana. Namun permasalahan yang timbul adalah potensi lokal tersebut belum sepenuhnya dimaksimalkan untuk berbagai aspek bidang kehidupan salah satunya di dunia Pendidikan yakni sebagai sumber belajar IPS. Pengoptimalisasian potensi lokal sebagai pengembangan media pembelajaran Katalog menjadi salah satu solusi dalam meningkatkan kualitas hasil belajar IPS. Metode penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) untuk menghasilkan media pembelajaran Katalog IPS berbasis potensi lokal Kabupaten Semarang. Dalam penelitian ini terdiri 3 tahap yaitu Desain Media, Proses Pembuatan Produk Media, dan Evaluasi. Hasil penelitian ini meliputi: 1) Penelitian pengembangan Katalog Potensi Lokal untuk melestarikan nilai-nilai konservasi yang dilakukan melalui tahapan analisa kebutuhan, pembuatan produk, validasi ahli materi dan media, revisi produk, validasi ahli materi dan media kemudian finalisasi produk; 2) Hasil akhir kelayakan media berdasarkan ahli materi mendapatkan skor rata-rata sebesar 81,4. Berdasarkan nilai tersebut maka materi media katalog berada pada kategori sangat layak yang diukur menggunakan skala likert. Kelayakan media berdasarkan ahli media mendapatkan skor rata-rata sebesar 85. Berdasarkan nilai tersebut maka media katalog berada pada kategori sangat layak yang diukur menggunakan skala likert. Regional potential is all the original wealth that is owned by an area and has the possibility to be developed and maximized by those who live there. However, the problem that arises is that local potential has not been fully maximized for various aspects of life, one of which is in the world of education, namely as a social studies learning resource. Optimizing local potential as a development of catalog learning media is one solution in social studies learning outcomes. This research method is development research using the R&D method to produce social studies catalog learning media based on the local potential of Semarang Regency. This research consists of 3 stages, namely Media Design, Media Product Creation Process, and Evaluation. The results of this research include: 1) Research on the development of a Local Potential Catalog to preserve conservation values ​​which was carried out through the stages of needs analysis, product creation, material and media expert validation, product revision, material and media expert validation and then product finalization; 2) The final result of media suitability based on material experts received an average score of 81.4. Based on this value, the catalog media material is in the very appropriate category as measured using a Likert scale. Media feasibility based on media experts gets an average score of 85. Based on this value, the media catalog is in the very feasible category as measured using a Likert scale.

Abstract

Abstract: Climate change is a global challenge that requires adaptability, especially for the younger generation. This research aims to analyze how digital skills can be developed to build learners' adaptability to climate change. With a behavioristic theory-based approach, this research is expected to contribute to the development of more relevant, innovative, and sustainable educational strategies. This research uses a quantitative paradigm with a survey method. The research population was the students of Adiwiyata Junior High School in Semarang, with a sample of 251 students selected using stratified random sampling technique. The research instrument was a closed questionnaire, and the data were analyzed using percentages to measure the level of digital skills of students in building adaptation to climate change. The results showed that 78% of students had sufficient to high digital skills, which helped them understand and take adaptive actions to climate change. However, 22% of students still have low digital skills, thus requiring more attention in the learning process. With more structured learning strategies, the use of relevant stimuli, and consistent reinforcement, all students can be encouraged to translate their understanding of climate change into concrete actions that benefit the environment.Abstrak: Perubahan iklim merupakan tantangan global yang memerlukan kemampuan adaptasi, terutama bagi generasi muda. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana digital skills dapat dikembangkan untuk membangun kemampuan adaptasi peserta didik terhadap perubahan iklim. Dengan pendekatan berbasis teori behavioristik, penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi bagi pengembangan strategi pendidikan yang lebih relevan, inovatif, dan berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini menggunakan paradigma kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa SMP Adiwiyata di Semarang, dengan sampel sebanyak 251 siswa yang dipilih menggunakan teknik stratified random sampling. Instrumen penelitian berupa kuesioner tertutup, dan data dianalisis menggunakan persentase untuk mengukur tingkat digital skills peserta didik dalam membangun kemampuan adaptasi terhadap perubahan iklim. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 78% siswa memiliki keterampilan digital yang cukup hingga tinggi, yang membantu mereka dalam memahami dan mengambil tindakan adaptif terhadap perubahan iklim. Namun, 22% siswa masih memiliki keterampilan digital yang rendah, sehingga membutuhkan perhatian lebih dalam proses pembelajaran. Dengan strategi pembelajaran yang lebih terstruktur, penggunaan stimulus yang relevan, dan penguatan yang konsisten, seluruh siswa dapat didorong untuk menerjemahkan pemahaman mereka tentang perubahan iklim menjadi tindakan nyata yang bermanfaat bagi lingkungan.

Abstract

Perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi merupakan elemen penting dalam siklus pembelajaran yang menentukan kesuksesan dan evektifitas pengalaman belajar siswa. di SMPN 16 Semarang, ditemukan masalah dalam pembelajaran IPS, dimana ketiga elemen tersebut belum optimal. ini tercermin dari rendahnya minat belajar siswa dan kurangnya pemahaman guru tentang pembelajaran berdiferensiasi sesuai kurikulum merdeka, serta ketidak pahaman guru terhadap tujuan dan manfaat evaluasi. selain itu, sarana dan prasarana yang tidak memadai juga menjadi hambatan. penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus dengan desain kualitatif deskriptif.  subjek penelitian adalah guru dan siswa, dengan metode pengumpulan data berupa wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. analisis data dilakukan melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pembelajara IPS di SMP N 16 Semarang menghadapi sejumlah masalah, seperti perencanaan yang kurang optimal, pelaksanaan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi, dan evaluasi yang tidak maksimal, yang semuanya berdampak pada evektifitas pembelajaran, minat belajar siswa, dan pemahaman mereka terhadap materi IPS. Planning, implementation, and evaluation are important elements in the learning cycle that determine the success and effectiveness of student learning experiences. At SMP N 16 Semarang, problems were found in social studies learning, where these three elements were not optimal. This is reflected in students' low interest in learning and teachers' lack of understanding about differentiated learning according to the Independent Curriculum, as well as teachers' lack of understanding of the purpose and benefits of evaluation. Apart from that, inadequate facilities and infrastructure are also an obstacle. This research uses a case study approach with a descriptive qualitative design. The research subjects were teachers and students, with data collection methods in the form of interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis was carried out through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research results show that social studies learning at SMP N 16 Semarang faces a number of problems, such as less than optimal planning, limited implementation of differentiated learning, and suboptimal evaluation, all of which have an impact on learning effectiveness, students' interest in learning, and their understanding of social studies material.

Abstract

The phenomenon of climate change has a very pronounced impact on Semarang City, especially in Tambakrejo Village with increased risk of disasters such as flooding and tidal floods. Various efforts in reducing the risk of climate change have been carried out through the Climate Village Program (ProKlim) with the aim of increasing community participation in waste management. Currently, inorganic waste management has been carried out by the Berkah Jaya Waste Bank but it is not optimal, while for organic waste management it still does not exist. The purpose of the service activity is to make household waste management more organized so that it supports the Climate Village Program. Activity methods through counseling, training, technical guidance, field practice, equipment facilitation and program development. The results of activities in the form of increasing partners' understanding and skills in waste management with several activities including socialization of household-based waste management, increasing community capacity in processing organic waste, facilitating facilities and infrastructure for organizing waste processing sites and developing waste bank savings programs. Another result is an increase in sales of inorganic waste from the Berkah Jaya Waste Bank, where from waste management it can buy waste from residents amounting to Rp.2,749,350, - with sales of Rp.3,376,200, - during February - June. The conclusion of this activity is that there is an increase in organic and inorganic waste management in target partners.

Abstract

This study examines how Social Studies teachers in Semarang, Indonesia, frame and communicate climate change issues through the lenses of environmental communication and ecopedagogy. Drawing on a structured online survey of 116 I teachers from Musyawarah Guru Mata Pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial Semarang, the research identifies four perceptual constructs: awareness, knowledge, perception, institutional responsibility, and self-efficacy. It classifies the topics teachers choose into pragmatic mitigation measures or constitutive identity‐building issues and their strategies, e.g., class discussions, project-based learning, visual media, and policy advocacy. Descriptive analyses show that while teachers recognize climate change and its future risks (means ≥ 4.18/5), they tend to favor conventional, one-way informational methods alongside participatory projects. By mapping these practices onto Kahn's three-dimensional ecopedagogy, cosmological, technological, and organizational, the study reveals both strengths in building planetary consciousness and gaps, including overreliance on deficit-model framing and limited cultural contextualization. The findings underscore the need for IPS curricula to integrate deliberative, community-centered pedagogies and professional development that apply critical, context-sensitive ecopedagogical practice.

Abstract

Local culture shapes the ecological ethics of society, but globalization and commodification often erode its symbolic and ecological meaning. The Belis tradition in Manggarai Regency, East Nusa Tenggara, which is rich in spiritual and ecological values, is now undergoing changes due to modernization. The purpose of this study is to analyze the role of eco-pedagogy in preserving the symbolic relationship between humans and nature through the Belis tradition, identify ecological values, the impact of commodification, and formulate education strategies based on local wisdom. Using a qualitative approach with a case study method, data was collected through interviews, participatory observation, and documentation studies. Thematic analysis was conducted to examine human-nature relations, ecological values, and cultural commodification, with triangulation of sources and member checking for data validity. The results of this study show that the Belis tradition is not only a social and cultural practice, but also functions as a medium for ecological education that instills awareness of the sacred relationship between humans, livestock, and nature. However, the commodification of Belis culture, which has turned livestock into mere economic symbols, has threatened the ecological and spiritual values of this tradition. This research contributes to the development of a local wisdom-based education model for maintaining the relationship between humans and nature. Further research should explore the role of the younger generation in preserving the ecological values of the Belis tradition and formulate an applicable eco-pedagogical model in the context of Manggarai education
