Abstract

ABSTRACT Participatory budgeting is a process where the community can contribute to budget decision making and the community is also actively involved in formulating agendas based on real needs which are then agreed to be priorities that will be implemented. Participatory budgeting in budget planning will produce development activities that suit community needs. The research method used in this research is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The data collection technique uses interview and documentation methods. The data analysis process includes data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research location is Simpang Village, Medan City. This research found that the application of participatory budgeting in the Village Fund Allocation (ADD) in Simpang Village, Medan City, Kelayang District, Indragiri Hulu Regency in 2021 has not been implemented well. The relatively low level of community participation in involvement in ADD budget planning can be seen in the RKPDes musrenbangdes so that meeting community needs is not realized optimally. On the other hand, there are transparency efforts by the village government in financial management in fulfilling open access in information media to avoid budget misappropriation. The aspect of community involvement in the process has not been specifically regulated by a Village Regulation, however the village government has been guided by Indragiri Hulu Regency Regional Regulation Number 12 of 2020 in initiating community involvement. Apart from that, community involvement also includes the regional/physical dimension. This is reflected in the existence of deliberations at the hamlet level. Keywords: Participatory Budgeting, Village fund allocation

Abstract

The problems of students' low mathematical reasoning skills, gender differences, and the low motivation to learn mathematics  it is indeed a problem that occurred at the school after the observation was condusted , so a relevant learning approach is required. Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) is learning that connects mathematics with students realistic problems. This study aims to find out the differences and influence of the intersection of the use of RME on the mathematical reasoning ability of students based on gender differences and motivation. The research design used is experimental research. Data collection for the research was done using test instruments and lifts. The results showed that there were differences in mathematical reasoning skills between learning approaches and gender but not with student motivation, and there was an influence of interaction between study approaches, student motivations, and genders on students' ability to mathematically reason. The results showed that Fo (ABC) = 4,611 > Ftable = 4,040, or Ho is rejected, or there is an influence of the interaction factors learning approach, student learning motivation, and gender.

Abstract

This study is a literature study using bibliometric analysis to evaluate the trend of Differentiated Instruction (DI) learning in high schools from 2019 to 2023 with quantitative methods. Publication and citation data were analyzed to assess the influence and contribution of the research. The PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis) methodology was used to ensure quality and transparency through the stages of identification, screening, eligibility assessment, and inclusion. Data were compiled using Mendeley in RIS format and analyzed with VOSviewer for citation analysis, co-occurrence, and co-authorship. This study reviewed 144 articles from Science Direct, Publish or Perish, Mendeley Reference, Taylor & Francis, Sage Journal, Wiley Journal, and Eric Education Sciences, with 35 articles meeting the inclusion criteria. The results showed an increasing publication trend, with Differentiated Instruction (DI) as the main topic. Countries such as Australia, the Netherlands, and Germany played a significant role. The most frequently used methods were qualitative and quantitative. VOSviewer visualization reveals DI's links to personalized learning, inclusivity, student confidence, and diversity in secondary education.

Abstract

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to support and strengthen the analysis of the effectiveness of the project-based learning model for application in elementary schools. This study employs the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method. The sources of the research articles are databases from Google Scholar and CrossRef. Each article is analyzed based on its research findings. The results of the analysis indicate that project-based learning can increase students' learning motivation, enhance problem-solving skills, improve collaboration, and develop students' skills. It can be concluded that Project-Based Learning has been proven effective in improving elementary school students' learning outcomes, not only in terms of knowledge but also skills. Furthermore, the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model can increase students' motivation, self-confidence, tolerance, cooperation, and understanding of the material, ultimately leading to a comprehensive improvement in students' learning outcomes. This learning model will continue to be recommended for educators in the learning process in accordance with the Merdeka curriculum.

Abstract

This study seeks to explore the impact of religiosity and social support on the psychological well-being of students in Islamic boarding schools. This study involved 96 high school students in Indonesia. The method was quantitative. Multiple linear regression analysis and hierarchical regression were used to test the hypotheses. The results of multiple linear regression analysis show that religiosity and social support affect psychological well-being. Partial analysis results show a very large positive relationship between social support religiosity and psychological well-being. Hierarchical regression results showed that, when tested together with religiosity and social support, gender had a significant effect on psychological well-being. Gender also influences the strengths and weaknesses of the influence of religiosity and social support on psychological well-being.
